Just luck of the draw man. Though it does seem to always work like that. I can play my Billy/Oni 10 matches in a row and every single time get the absolute worst survivors but the second I go to play Cannibal for my ritual I get put up against the best/sweatiest people in the queue and get destroyed.
i can use insta downs on clown a red mori and i get the worse map for clown and woke ass survivors

I like to keep it simple for hagsterino...but i run some arm bling

I didn't read the comments, so forgive me if this has been said already, but I'd just like to add that the devs are very aware of the grind being an issue - reducing the grind is, I believe, already on their list of things to fix.
They did give us the bloodweb rework, which i was happy to get.
I know it's my choice. I want to unlock all tier 3 perks for all my killers, but dammit the bloodpoints needed is growing with every added killer.
I'm expecting to spend 5mill+ bloodpoints at least unlocking all tier 3 killer perks for next killer and i try to be efficient with the bloodweb.

If i could only get one, spirit.

Maybe there are people that cannot accept losing so they need to make up rules in order to justify the loss.

I'm being asked to play as inefficiently while Survivors are allowed to play the game any way they see fit
Yeah, that pretty much sums it up. Not that many killers don't also have a bunch of arbitrary rules that they like to impose on survivors, but in the case of tunnelling specifically you basically hit the nail on the head.
There is a case to be made for not tunnelling for moral reasons, because it isn't much fun for the survivor(s) on the receiving end, and many killers try to avoid it out of courtesy for that reason. I try not to tunnel as a killer, and as survivor I certainly don't appreciate it when I get tunnelled, because it feels crappy and it can be hard not to take it personally, but that's an entirely emotional response and I recognise that it's not a very justified one.
Having said that, I never expect killers not to tunnel, or give them crap about it after the game if they do. If your opponent goes out of their way to make sure you have fun at their own strategic expense, that is a favour they're doing you, not something you should expect of them. No one has the right to shame or abuse another player for not playing according to a set of arbitrary rules that they never agreed to. If you're the killer in that situation, don't let yourself be bullied, because they're the ones in the wrong, not you.

I just played a game as plag vs 3 red ranks and a purple
I have'nt plagged in a minute. One of the red ranks was afk. I didnt realize it until on of the hooked red ranks died because nonone save them. I found the afk survivor and hooked camped them while doing spew spew spew at their hooked body.
I hate afk'ers, and i don't want the other team to suffer because they have one player who gives up just because.

I just don’t understand how this hasn’t been fixed yet. The game is just unplayable. I can take a ######### game every once in a while but what’s the point in playing if this is how every game is?
Try gimmicky builds 😂....
like rancor roulette
rancor + furtive chase + nemesis and whatever else...It's surprising to see survivor's behavior change in the match because they don't want to end up the lucky rancor winner. I had instances where survivors are hesitant to finish the last gen. I've had survivors die in exchange for the potential rancor to escape.
Also, try to readjust your goals. I'm a thirsty ######### for bloodpoints, not really concerned with rank at the moment.
Now is the time to try new killers and new builds.
i also recommend playing haggie... a lot of ppl don't know how to play againsr her...

I don't think the devs are biased.
What i do believe happens is that they have a god's eye perspective of the game. We only have what we experience or what we see from others, a more narrow perspective. This creates panic on both side, because it FEELS like you are nerfing killers/survivors just for the sake of it.
-
I don't think so just because silent hill is more of a cult classic.

Does that include Charms?
🤔 I am unsure about charms. Currently, there are no charms on the store to purchase and I want to say that charms weren't mentioned as an item coming to the store.
Maybe down the line they could make charms available on the store or maybe they will continue to only be available via rift.
off topic, i still want a rin funko pop 😭

Same here, I only have like a few hundreds of hours in the game, I joined when rift 2 was at it's end
If I recall, i believe they said rift cometics woud be available in the store after a certain amount of time. I wanna say six months after the end of each rift.

I forgot to add visuals...
the description says it's a modern version of a karambit, but why fix what's not broken...the first image is just disgusting to me 😂😂😂

What bothers me the most is the way Ghostface cleans his blade. I know it's a callback to the films, but I've never seen him do it in the films in such a way that he's likely to slice his hand open in the process. I'm going to guess that BHVR's modelling/animation staff just don't do a lot of blade-wielding.
Stop it, now i have to play ghostface just to pay attention to the animation 😂😂😂😭😭😭...and i do like to play gf but i've never really paid attention to his blade cleaning animation because i'm so focused on the moment.
I only noticed the knives with my suzster because i was trying different looks for her.

I got 3 free hits just now just standing still.
Don't say that she can't hear you, that she can use stridor.
She is faster in phase, the survivor has to guess which side of the pallet is placed ... but no matter she can hear you.
A survivor only has the sight to counter an assassin, the spirit denies that.
--------------
What do you mean, viable killer?
A killer that guarantees you 4K always?
I remind you that there are 4 survivors, 4 people who are still looking to have fun (of course, there are different types of survivors, adapt to each group).
But I understand you, I used to play more to kill than for fun.
You can't complain about the genrush if you go with a spirit, nurse, oni.
Regarding the nurse, I consider myself a main nurse and I usually win 4/5 games (and playing legal, it would be pretty disgusting if I slugging or tunneled).
(sorry the English).
so if i stand still and do nothing, not even attacking, i get free hits? ######### awesome 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘

The Spirit doesn't make any sense in the game, I won't have 10 hours of play with it and I can destroy survivors without problems.
I have not played this killer for more than a year (I disgust him), I really ask as a main killer to give him another nerf, in addition to being boring, he cannot provide a chase where the survivor's ability takes effect, it is simply a luck simulator (controlled by the spirit).
Not all of us can be the at the Marth level of killer...

All is fair in love and war. The spirit feigns phasing. You have choices to make.and guessing is choosing.

I made a forum account around the stranger things chapter so like others, I was trying to come up with a demogorgon name. I was probably drunk when I came up with my name 😂😂😂. I've watched monto on youtube and he's always "coming fo dat bootie" when he plays killer. So that was probably stuck in my head at the time.

Thank you. I do try to be fair and reasonable in my discussions, so it's reassuring to hear that it comes across that way. And thank you for the good wishes! I hope the project goes well, too - I may even share it here once it's finished, depending on whether or not the contents end up being too inflammatory.
I don't want to derail this topic any further, but feel free to hit me up on my wall or in one of my other discussions if you had more to say 😊

Around green. I spend more time watching killer gameplay than I do actually participating in it, and I'll be the first to admit I'm not the best at it and I don't understand firsthand all the struggles that top-ranked killers face (although with matchmaking as it is, I have faced my fair share of red-ranked survivor teams). I can empathise, and I can analyse, two things which I like to think I'm fairly good at, but I don't have that same shared experience. So, as with anything that I don't have sufficient personal experience in to draw conclusive assessments on that basis, I therefore rely on the testimonies of friends who are skilled killers, intelligent people and whose judgement I trust to fill in the gaps.
embrace the killer side... we have cookies or whatever fav food you like 🤣

Fix the survivor queue times first.
Also, keys and moris are not the same thing. The design team does not make personalized key escape animations for each survivor.
Making moris less accessible could negatively affect the already small killer base.
I use moris because I love the animations, not because i want to make people cry. Survivors dying on a hook is not visually appealing.
I''ve had games where 3 survivors died just to give the rancor obsession the escape. I don't think the hook a survivor 3 times would work.
I'm in favor of some type of base kit mori roulette system, but i feel the mori'd survivor would still find it "unfun".
-
I believe this is happening because there are not enough red rank killers to match up with every red rank survivor lobby.
This could be why we are seeing brown rank killers going against red rank lobbies.
-
Let's say we have 3 groups of 4 red rank survivors waiting to be paired with killers.
There are 2 red rank killers. The first 2 survivor groups get paired with the 2 available red rank killers.
The 3rd group of survivors has to wait for the next available killer. As time passes, it will expand the search. Let's say x amount of time has passed and there's a rank 17 killer availabe to play. The system will then match 3rd group of red rank survivors with the only killer available at that time, which happens to be a rank 17.
We would need 1 red rank killer per 4 red rank survivors at all times to match red rank vs red rank consitently.
If we had 40 groups of red rank survivors waiting in a lobby to be paired up, we would need 40 red rank killers. Say we have 25 red rank killers and 15 killers with ranks of purple or higher. We have enough killers to have 40 matches, but 15 of those match ups could be seen as unfair.
There are not enough red rank killers to match with red rank survivors.
-
I want to say it's because the number of ppl playing killer is usually smaller than the number of ppl playing survivor.
-
Remember gens are not the killers objective.
I rarely ever run gen perks any more unless i'm doing some type of gen regression/tracking build. I won't even kick a gen unless i really need to.
I'm not gonna 4k at 5gens, unless I get matched with new players or team super potato.
You have accept that gens will pop. What matters is what you are doing while gens are popping and try to keep cool. The moment you start getting frustrated or feel pressure, the more mistakes you will make.
Experiment with different perk builds and killers and see what works for you.
A 4k at 0 gens is still a 4k.

You no like WAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH?

I usually pick my setup before joining a lobby and won't normally change it. I like to play around with different setups for different killers.
One thing i may do is swap out a perk for lightborn if I see 2 or more flashlights, if my perk build allows it.
-
You can run NOED as your only perk, 4k before NOED activates, and survivors will still ######### on you for running NOED 😂😂😂.
-
Gens are not the primary objective for a killer, trying to prevent survivors escaping is. If you spend you're match focusing on gens, you are not hitting/downing survivors. Killers need to move the focus from early game gen protection to downing survivors.
Gens are going to pop and that is okay, unless you go up against team potato force. Take a deep breathe and try to kill them entitled survivors mains of doom squad zero dark 1000...
Personally, as a killer mang, I live for intense games.

I find it really interesting that so many people have said that they expect players with prestige outfits to be somewhat skilled. I tend to assume the opposite, based on the fact that prestige is (a) easy to get, (b) therefore usually the first cosmetic that people get access to, and (c) not the favourite of most, meaning that if they have other cosmetics, they usually use those instead. So most of the people I see wearing prestige are newish players who want to show off that fact. Veterans typically don't feel the need to show off prestige skins because they've earned enough bloodpoints in their time to prestige everyone, so to them it's not that special anymore.
It's really just a bloodpoint grind. You don't even have to play with a character to p3 them. If someone wanted, they could use their best killer to grind out bloodpoints to p3 all survivors while never playing survivor.
