Oh... I kept mine for Mikaela, but now, I'm scared not to claim them. I still have a lot of characters to grind P3/perks, I guess I should claim before I have the bug.

At this point I guess it’s considered weird that I have fun playing the game, and that on both sides, without being highly skilled. And not even SWF.
You're not alone. I have fun as a solo Survivor. I don't play Killer often, but I have fun as well.
-
If I lose a pip, I have to play perkless next game. Then, I'm allowed to play with perks again when I black pip/earn one or two pips.
So, if I depip the whole day, I play perkless the whole day. I also did the same with cosmetics—I lose a pip I use this cosmetic, I earn a pip I use this one.
-
No official information as far as I know.
-
I decided not to change the way I play. I'll still do my best to have fun while improving my skills.
I don't mind if my MMR is the highest or the lowest.

Bored on a Saturday, are you?

If they keep silent, it's real. If they come out and deny it, then it's either fake or they lied and are the stupidest bastards on this side of the planet.
I don't know if keeping silent means it's real. I have no idea how it works to communicate, but I don't think it's as easy as coming and say: hey! It's real/fake!
I do REALLY hope it's a fake. I don't want it to be a real thing...

In some map the radius of the boon too could pass through one another so in those perk if you were lucky in the totem place you could have 200% healing speed or more

No, it means if the area of multiple boons overlap they do not provide 2x, 3x or 4x the effect.
All teammates still get to use the effect of the boon that is active.
Thanks!!
-
I don't understand the "stack". What does it mean? The effect of the Boon only affects the one who blessed the totem?

Monday is a Holiday for them. So we see something from them on Tuesday.
Best timing for the rumor then. Three days of people panicking because we have no answer.
I believe nothing until it's officially said.

It's 24 seconds to bless a hex totem. A regular totem will still take 14 seconds to bless.
I'm glad I've clicked the thread, I misunderstood and thought it was all totems.

Could be, that would be strange though
Not really, would be to make people understand who are the characters.

Not sure why everyone continues to say nurse is a hard killer and you have to be on your A gane every match you play. Literally all it is is muscle memory, once you have that down she is dead easy to play as.
Because not everyone has the exact same skills? Some will find her not that hard to master, some will take a lot of time to be at least decent with her.
Yes, we're all different.

@HighwayCatalyst said:
Am I crazy, or isn't this literally the same video they used to tease the all kill chapter.
It is. Or I'm crazy too.
-
No.
I don't agree with the fact there is only one condition for both side to win MMR. Escape/kill, we don't care if you hide the whole game doing nothing/facecamped.
The fun isn't about escaping/killing, but about interactions. And I feel interactions don't appeal anymore but the results now.
I think I'll be low MMR soon as it's more important for me to save a teammate in the end game than saving my own ***, unless I really have no chance to make the save.
-
If you hear well, at the very beginning, the girl said her name, Yun-Jin. Probably something like: Hello, Yun-Jin's there. (Or any way to tell who you are in a phone call in English.)

@FeelsBadMan said:
"Vault speed" build is pretty much just a placebo. Those 15% don't make much of a difference, especially if the killer has bad ping.
Why is it so popular if it doesn't work? It's a real question, I'm always questionning myself about its effectiveness.
-
Grades just mean they played a lot, it's not tied to the MMR score.
-
@Labrac said:
So it's as everyone thought. A survivor who loops a killer for 5 gens and gets facecamped with NOED at the end actually loses MMR, while the Claudette hiding in a corner actually gains MMR.
"Skill based" though.
I hate it. I prefer to die in the end of my match because I helped someone to escape, but now, as the OP said, it makes no sense.
The MMR should be based on time: time repairing, time healing, being chased... So a Survivor who does a bit of everything earn MMR, instead of hiding the whole game and earning MMR while escaping.
I don't know actually if based on time spent on tasks is a good idea, but everything seems bettet than "escape and you're a god player".

Then all the sweats would go bully in casual mode
This is actually what I think.
Also, how to know if I'm casual or sweaty from your rules, OP? I'm not being rude, but I feel it's unclear what is considered casual. Red ranks are just people who play a lot, not always "tryhard".
But I know how unfun it is to face more experienced players.
-
Dead Hard. You can reach a pallet/window and extend the chase.
Lithe, I feel I'm wasting it most of the time, as I don't want to leave immediately the tile.

Yeah that's the reason why the matchmaking tries to compensate the number difference between survivors and killers: it also isn't fun for killers.
Survivors figured out how easy it is to escape by just sticking to gens and since killers don't have any real tools to slowdown the match, they end up slugging, tunneling and camping.
It's as fun for them as it is for you.
I feel it's important to play both side to understand the tactics.
I played a few Killer games, and if I avoid tunneling/slugging, I get it's been used. I'm still unhappy about being tunneled but I understand that the Killer saw the generators being completed too quickly for them and they wanted to secure a kill.
-
I agree about the speed bonus. It's a yes for me without it. But an I don't know with the speed bonus.

maybe not so secretly sometimes
Some salty end game chat! I turn it off now, I'm tired of people calling out the Killer for being a tunneler while they unhooked me in front of him...
-
My very first event was Halloween from last year.
I don't even remember it. Some disgusting flowers to interact with... Well, I wish I lived one of these events people speak about with nostalgia.
-
As a Cheryl main who is ready to sacrifice herself to help her teammates... I'm not proud of you, Cheryl!
But you play the way you want. Just know your team secretly hates you.

i dont run dh personally, i use sb. that being said if i had to choose one id still use sb i reckon.
I'm considering to entirely remove DH from my build for SB. I love it, even if sometimes it's quite frustrating to burn it at the start of the match to meet the Killer two seconds later. 🙈
-
Congratulations for the new job! Enjoy it and the game!
-
Why "bad gameplay"? Isn't already what a Survivor should do, to do a safe unhook and to take protection hit when needed?
We already do that without a tome challenge. I don't see the issue.
-
Fixated. I like to do a walking race when I have it. You can't beat me!
I've forgotten the name of this Wraith's perk, but as I've done his Adept a few days ago, I discovered that the one which makes blood pools more visible is actually quite fun. I liked to hunt Survivors by following the shiny blood. You can't escape from the bing bong!
-
If everything becomes base kit, what's the point of having perks? I mean, I'm a solo Q Survivor, I know how frustrating it can be when someone is being chased but still unhook you.
No, BT is a perk and it should be a perk. Base kit shouldn't give too much advantage.
But I'd like BT to be personal instead of applying to someone else. Like, you got the Endurance effect if you get unhook. So everyone's free to run it to save their own life or taking the risk not having it.
(But a personal BT would be too OP with Deliverance?)
-
Doing as much as possible for BP. And we don't know... Once, we had someone who DC'd early. They got downed, they DC'd. We were still at five generators.
We managed to complete all the generators and to escape. And no, it wasn't a farming game. And yes, we were all red ranks, it's not like we were against a new player.
(For the Killer's defense: it was Badham Preschool.)
Sometimes solo Q is full of surprises.

@DelsKibara said:
Sometimes if I am on death hook I would deliberately push the Killer onto a group of Survivors who I know haven't been hooked yet.
In the long term it's better for the team, but I can understand being frustrated at it myself.
And me, if I never been hooked, will gladly take a protection hit for you, even the chase.
I don't mind if a death-hook Survivor runs to me for help if I'm hook-free. But if they were never hooked... I let them doing their chase.
-
What discussion, exactly?
-
I hope at least five more years. I started to play only a few months ago, I want to enjoy the game a bit longer before I leave.
Last online game I played, I've been there since beta, and left after five years. So, five years would be nice to me, if it's more, it's cool!
-
Oni and Trickster. Both are hot as hell.

I typically run endgame builds and do fairly well with them. Most of the time that I use them I get screamed at by the survivors and told I'm just bad for having to rely on endgame builds instead of early game builds... A lot of survivors will complain no matter what you do
Yes, even if you run perkless. I've been there.
-
End game is fun. Because outside of opening doors and saving teammates who are in a bad situation...
I wanna feel the pressure until the end.
-
It just happened to me. I've been healed with a syringe by a teammate and I had no timer.
-
It just happened to me. A Cheryl touched me for a second but I wasn't fully recovered. Then, something like fifteen seconds later, I was up. I was so surprised that I didn't move and get downed again. I don't run UB.
I saw in the end game screen that Cheryl had a med-kit with a syringe, but I had no timer on my screen to tell me it was it. Did someone healed you for a second while you were on the ground? It could be a syringe as well.
-
I don't remember well the live events, especially since it was a bit hard to follow everything in English for me. So, by "year", do we mention anniversary to anniversary or 2021 to 2022?
Because we got two licensed (Nemesis and Pinhead who should come in a few weeks), and then... two originals until december or july?
To answer the thread, I'd love a map for Trickster.

I think HG is fine as it is.

I'm so tired of this mentality. It's not X-sided. It's simply not. And even if it was, why in the fresh blue hell can I only rely on myself and the perks I bring to survive?
Have you ever played solo survivor? I literally cannot expect my teammates to save me from the hook WITH Kindred.
I'm tired as well. It's like we all play only one side, where most of us play both. And even if we play only one, it's a PVP game. People play to win against other people.
I don't know. I feel too old sometimes for the forums.

I hope so too. They reworked Laurie's model, they can do it for the map as well.

If I stay at the exit gates, it's to offer the Killer more BP—and to myself. I let them hit/downed me, but I do not do anything to BM. No teabag, no emotes...
Not all Survivors are waiting at the gates to be toxic. Also, it could be mean, but if one of teammates teabags the Killer at the exit gates and they weren't enough close to the limit and get downed... Well, I'm not gonna help.
