Uninteractive to the extreme to the point where survivor skill doesn't matter in the slightest if the killer knows how to aim a gun in an FPS. Instantaneous abilities that have no clue of any kind to help you as survivor to react or make any kind of counterplay opportunity. Why wouldn't survivors hate a killer that does this?
I love playing him too, I think he's the 4th/5th best killer in the game but oh do I despise playing against him. Nothing you learn while playing him can translate to learning to play against him either. Knowing you can shoot people with no time for them to react and get free downs doesn't exactly help you when you're playing survivor.
I guess I can't argue with that.
-
I quite like him actually. He looks good, his perks are good and his power is fun and useful. I don't understand why anybody would hate him? I get it if you don't like him but he's not that bad that anybody should despise him with a passion.

None of the Exhaustion perks are activated without a condition. Only Dead Hard is directly activated.
I find Sprint Burst's value is in quickly gaining yourself a vantage point. While it may not always be used during a chase, it can start one with you in a very advantageous position. A killer kind of far away is better than killer kinda close y'know?
It also pairs fairly well with Urban Evasion or Fixated which alter your walk habits. And after a hook save, can be a life saver against a malicious killer.
I completely agree with that. I was merely saying that could not be used for chases.

But it's very useful for gen rush, in chases and it even stacks with adrenaline, making your movemet speed even faster than 150%, while dead hard is only useful in chase in order to gain a distance to a pallet/window.
It works for gen rushes but again, if you want to save it for chases then you would need to walk/crouch around the map. I normally use it to quickly dash away from hooks and of course, to gen rush. But for chases it is usually null and not worth the time wasted walking/crouching around to conserve it. Dead hard is more effective during a chase.

It is good for gen rushing but again, if you want it to work during a chase, you'd have to be patient enough and walk/crouch around which means you wouldn't be able to gen rush. When I run it, I use it to quickly dash away from a hook after being saved and for gen rushes. But I never use it for chases, that's were dead hard comes in.

Meg or Nancy. You can constantly use both of their perks in different builds and actually work well together.
You want sprint burst back? Run fixated.
You want inner strength during a chase? Run Quick and Quiet.
Want gens to go quicker for Adrenaline? Run Better Together.
I hadn't really thought of that. I'd say urban evasion works better with sprint burst though. Apart from that I am in complete agreement.

It’s not a perk per say, but a natural defense. A shirtless David is most effective against me as long as he doesn’t do toxic actions. And I just love listening to his grunts while I have him slung over my shoulder. Mmmm mmmm mmm mm mmmmmm.
Whatever works I guess.

Meg. All of her perks can come in handy and are pretty good by itself. Not only mention that sprint burst is the most versalite perk in the game. You can use it how you want.
I agree with you on adrenaline and quick and quiet. They are very useful in many scenarios. However I find sprint burst to be one of the least adaptable in the game. It is quite annoying having to crouch or walk around in order to conserve it. If you don't conserve it, then when you do need it, you will be exhausted and it won't activate. If it was an activatable perk, then it would be very useful, especially in chases. But maybe it's just me. I completely respect your opinion and understand if you feel differently.

What's that one thing you want, but don't think the devs would ever implement?
Not my dream change, but I actually had a literal dream last night about dbd. I was playing dbd but there were several killers and loads of survivors. I don't know exactly how to describe it , but basically it was a kind of massacre game mode and you had to survive for a limited amount of time. There was an pink evil Dwight and the tank from L4D. I hid in the basement with a bunch of other survivors and had the locker I was hiding in smashed by the tank.

His kit just has so many elements to it, and that moment that you see the ranged attack indicator is always exciting. It's an "Oh Sh*t" moment, and it's really fun imo.
His power can also combat pallets as you can hit them with a ranged attack when they stop to throw it down. I feel so evil when I do that.

I like Huntress and Blight as far as the fun factor goes. Their skill ceilings make it extremely satisfying to land tricky hits.
By effectiveness, the best power in the game is either Nurse or Hag though. At the highest levels of play, both can effectively ignore walls/windows/pallets and cannot be looped.
I love the way The Blight looks. His power is also pretty fun too.

depends what you think makes it the "best"

Before I begin, here is the link to the original post showing off the outfit.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/141976/legion-frank-never-stop-slashing-amacky
Body:
The body of the outfit is a massive letdown. The original drawing has a dark cloak with splots of neon spray paint to look incredibly flashy. The legs are, while not as dark, still relatively close to the shade of the jacket. What is in the game is a tattered jacket thar looks like it was pulled out of the garbage. The shoes are the only part true to the drawing.
Mask:
The mask is easily one of the worst letdowns in the history of this game. The original mask was supposed to light up and change expressions depending on the state of The Legion. Your classic expression would've been the mask that is in the game now, while if you were in Feral Frenzy or being stunned for any reason, the expression and color would change. The expression for the mori looked like something right out of The Purge: Election Year. Instead of something badass like the original idea, all we got is a recolor.
The devs said they don't have the ability to implement the ability for the mask to change expressions. This is a lie. For those that don't know, the Oni has this feature for when he activates Blood Fury.
Weapon: The weapon is the only part of the outfit to stay mostly true to the original design. However, the actual blade seems to be made out of metal shards when it should be glass shards.
To be honest the only new skin I genuinely liked was The Sunday Slaughter for The Hillbilly.

It seems you're new and thus made this... questionable post. Maybe you worded it badly and meant looping around the hook person but I doubt it. Of course, this could be bait.
I can assure you that this is indeed not bait but simply a question to fellow dbd fans as to whether or not they thought that looping is or is not as bad as camping. Also, I mean general looping such as pallet/killer shack looping. I feel that I worded it quite clearly but perhaps I did not. Are you basing the assumption that I'm new around the number of posts I have because I've been playing dbd for over a 1 year now and I don't think that is classified as being new.
-
If my discussion is bait then why have you replied. If it is, then you have unwittingly given me another reply. I think you have a low quality brain. Oh and for your information, it was a genuine question and although it may seem like an obvious answer to your small-minded head, some people thought differently and you should respect that. If you don't then you are just another harmful and destructive person in the community and are contributing absolutely nothing positive to this discussion.

Can't Spirit just phase and slice Oni's throat? He's not fast enough to dodge her while phasing. Size and strength don't mean much when your opponent is faster and basically invisible to you.
Unless they can't use their powers? Then Oni would crush Spirit.
In this situation they would be allowed to use their powers and at first I thought the exact same thing as you but considering the lore surrounding The Oni and how skilled he is during battle, I thought that he would be able to avoid The Spirit's attack and strike quickly with a killing blow.

Camping is toxic since the killer enables a player to play or have the possibility to be saved. Also, campers don't show any skills by doing that.
On the other side, looping shows skills you get by playing again and again. A good killer will prevent looping by practicing chases technics.
According to me, campers don't get any skills by camping because they just... camp... they stay at a spot, they don't really play.
Also, maps and vaults are made FOR looping, otherwise, what do you want for a survivor to do in a chase? Just in a straight line until he gets down?
I'm just ######### about that post lol.
Just get better, that's it
If you had thoroughly read my post you would have both seen that I am not saying that looping is as bad as camping but merely asking if you thought that way. If you can't be bothered to properly read before you post or you can't respect other peoples' opinions then you are not contributing anything to the dbd community.

Looping is completely fine. That is really the only thing survivors can do when the killer is after them. Camping is a completely different subject. To say camping is bad is subjective on the individual.

camping pallets will usually end up making the survivor do worse, and looping is literally what the game is meant to be. Fun for both sides.

This is a troll post right?
Ok, I didn't say it was. I was merely starting a conversation/debate as to whether people thought it was as bad or not. And can I just say that I appreciate how much trouble you went through to write all of this down. You even put them in similar groups according to their features. Well done.

@NanseeWeeler said:
Call me crazy but the killer could be yet another WAYYYY older member of the Yamaoka bloodline, and the survivor being a member of the current bloodline. They would be a modernized take on Japanize culture, with the lore surrounding them being the grandaughter of The Spirit.
A decent idea but the Yamaoka bloodline ended with Rin when her father went crazy and killed Rin's mother and then proceeded to murder Rin herself. Hence the chapter name "Shattered Bloodline". And since Rin was an only child and didn't have kids herself we can safely infer that the Yamaoka bloodline has ended.
-
Possible, but unlikely. Having two killers that were from the same heritage was awesome but three would be taking it too far. They would all kind of blend together and lose their unique features. I wouldn't want this and would much rather have an entirely new killer. As I said though, it's unlikely that this would happen
-
I believe they are canon, just set in a parallel universe to the Movies/Video Games in which instead of continuing their own individual stories they are all brought here by the Entity to endlessly kill and slaughter people. So they are canon within the dbd lore. Or at least that's what I believe.

No wait, I think he's on to something, as I just remembered something that potentially loosely relates to her chances on getting in.
No "legal" obstacles per-se, but BHVR / The Dev team said in very clear and explicit terms a long time ago that they'd never do a religious chapter, they wanted nothing to do with controversy, social stigma, or alienate / frustrate players from those backgrounds. And by religious I / they mean / meant real actual religions like Christianity, Islam, Judaism, etc.
They easily found a work-around instead that seemed to appease all parties both them and the playerbase by instead creating their own fictional ancient mythological religion which is the source of the Plague's backstory who is an ancient Babylonian Priestess.
However, Outlast 2 had absolutely NO qualms or hesitation when it came to dipping into those exact waters that created a seriously unsettling environment and extremely uneasy tone, atmosphere, and mindset for the player. One can definitely argue this is what made it not only an extremely successful horror game, but extremely effective in the sheer horror it was trying to instill into its audience. Not everyone will agree though, and I do remember upon Outlast 2's release there were plenty of articles and media outlets that really didn't like what they did and there was a certain air of controversy and even hostility toward the game from certain groups.
So like it or not, this is exactly what Dead By Daylight wants to avoid. Outlast 2's entire plot revolves around a violent extremist Christian cult in the backwood regions of Arizona. Marta, just like all the other character's are heavily and deeply tied to a disturbing perversion (or not? That's an aspect of the psychological horror of the game) of the Christian faith and symbolism that is blatantly unavoidable even on the very surface. She wears a rosary complete with a cross / crucifix on her wrist or waist if I recall correctly, and even the weapon she wields can very easily be interpreted as a physical manifestation of the Cross which she uses to violently brutalize and murder different characters (including the player if you get caught) throughout the game.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/QHZVDYITL4T7/image.png
So unfortunately, I think these are some pretty condemning conclusive reasons / thoughts for why she wouldn't make it into the game, sorry to be the bearer of bad news. It seems super obvious to me now, I can't believe I didn't remember or think of this before.
On the bright side, this doesn't mean the entirety of Outlast is thrown out the Window, only basically anything from the second game because of how deeply ingrained religion is tied into the plot and theme of the game and all its characters. We can all still continue to hope for Outlast representation in DBD from Outlast 1, Outlast 1's Whistleblower DLC, or the upcoming the Outlast Trials (Outlast 3). I'm still looking forward to an Outlast Chapter regardless, I think it's one of the most intense, scariest horror games out there in the industry and DBD would be a fool not to seek it out as a licensed addition to the cast, regardless of whatever form that addition may take.
I actually hadn't considered this. You clearly know your stuff. Thanks for taking the time to respond and contribute to this discussion.

??? What? A match history is literally what you are describing as a detailed list of the actions performed during the match being displayed in the post match screen. Why would HISTORY refer to a "you won/lost" screen??? That's not a match history. And if what you are referring to is a "match replay", in which you are shown the entire match from beginning to end, that is a "Match Replay", not a match History.
Ok then. You don't need to get frustrated when I simply voiced what I thought he meant.

...that's literally what a match history is... it's the same thing.. and if not, with a history, a ((total X action done)) is included at the end for each action...
Match history is more like whether or not you have won/lost and stats is more detailed such as hooks, skills checks, escapes, rescues and so on .
-
Camping is a tactic. It is fair and legal tactic. It might not feel that way for a hooked survivor because it will be make it harder to escape for sure but it is 100% fair. Whatever kind of camping you do is alright. It is your tactic to winning the game. You might want to face-camp to be sure your prey does not escape. You might want to patrol the area to ensure that no survivors approach your prey. You might want to hide and ambush other survivors attempting to rescue your prey or you might want to abandon your prey entirely and look for fresh meat. Whichever works for you. I have camped in various different ways when necessary and in turn when I am camped I don't hold a grudge. People should accept camping and not be salty when camped. If you don't head back back for the hook when you see a survivor unhooking them that is just stupid as is thinking that people should be banned for camping. Think about it. If you were an obsessive and rage-induced murderer, would you leave your victim unattended while you walk away.
