I did not expect this but it's better than what I expected. And where's Kate on that list?

To be fair...
Most of the other killers chasing survivors are too tall to really appreciate the detail the devs put into them. With Blight's PoV though, I have discovered a new appreciation for Survivors:
I literally feel like Jane's booty is close to engulfing my whole head right before I give it a hardy slap, Feng's cute little derriere defiantly bouncing in my face is just begging for a good spanking, and David's rock hard buttocks Only challenge me to see if I can bounce more than a quarter off them.
The only times other killers get a glimpse of the devs fine work on survivor posteriors is when they are vaulting through windows, which is too brief to really soak it all in, much less admire it, but Blight gets it all the time as part of his hunched over perspective that lets us REALLY see all the little, fine, and sumptuous details. If anything's gonna make me get into the head of a drooling maniac, so worked up he's literally bouncing off the walls, mindlessly charging at a tempting gaggle of college age cuties... its a face full of those sweet, sculpted mounds of jiggly flesh, playfully bounding away from me.... shudders.
Let's Face it. Blight's an ass man! So Instead of complaining, Lets just embrace and enjoy it! There's a lot to be learned, and appreciated from the perspective of a man whose sole motivations are bent on pursuing his dreams. 🤪
I was not expecting this when I clicked on this discussion, but I'm glad I did.

Tinkerer got deleted. Freddy got deleted. So should go the way of OoO.
They got reworked, not deleted. I don't think he means rework, I think he means like actually deleted. Like removed from the game.

I like this idea, Boil Over is a practically useless perk and needs to be changed. What about: You obscure the Killer's ability to the see hook auras by 25/30/35 meters. Your struggling effects are increased by 75%. Your wiggle speed is increased by 5% for each survivor within 6 metres of the killer.
I think that 25 metres is viable, especially when combined with the 75% increased struggling effects. The third ability is just a little bonus that can help you in specific scenarios. I think that this is quite strong and when paired with something like breakout, flipflop or power struggle could be quite powerful in certain situations. I don't think that it should increase your wiggle speed without some sort of trigger as that would be unfair towards the killer. Decreasing the killers' movement speed is just not fair. Killers are already slowed down enough when carrying survivors and if paired with other effects is simply biased towards survivors.

I would say something along the lines of: You obscure the Killer's ability to the see hook auras within 25/30/35 meters. Struggling effects are increased by 75%. You wiggle 5% faster for each survivor within 6 metres of the killer.
I think that 25 metres is quite viable and with the 75% increased struggling effects it will definitely come in handy. I don't think that it should let you wiggle faster without some sort of trigger as that would be unfair to the killer. But in a SWF, its third effect could be useful when combined with the other two. As for changed the killer's speed, I don't think that would be fair as the killer is already slowed down enough when carrying a survivor and slowing him down even more would be too hard for the killer.

It would be hilarious to stack this with NOED and spam M1, Mad Grit style, during all your chases in the EGC while rocketing around at 124% speed :D
That actually made me burst out laughing

Nah, both changes won't cut it. The problem with H:BF is its concept. When you hit a survivor, you're giving them a sprint burst that will cover much more than 16 or even 32 meters before you catch up unless you're a high mobility killer. They need to either change the trigger or the effect for it to be useful.
On a personal note H:BF seems to have been made intentionally bad to justify H:U strong support perk on the same killer package.
How would you rework Hex: Blood Favour if not by my method then?

Because it is always the same. Like, removal of Red Stain or Terror Radius would be fine, but dark Maps not. Because, Horror games are not dark, eh?
I mean most horror games do often have dark setting but I agree the last thing we need in dbd is less visibility. Instead I suggested more devices such as pools of blood, guts, dead bodies and other gory implements to boost the feeling of horror.

@Aven_Fallen said:
And again another "How to nerf Survivors"-Thread, which is disguised as a "How to make the game more scary"-Thread. But if someone mentions darker maps, they dont want to make the game more scary anymore...
The game will not be scary after some time of playing. You cant do anything about it, that is just how Horror works. You cannot expect to be scared after watching a Horror Movie for 10 times or after playing a Horror Game 10 times. Being scared of a movie or game goes away pretty quickly if you see it often.
Let alone that more stealth-oriented gameplay would just be boring. I rather chase Survivors than not finding anyone because the game requires them to be hidden to survive.
Why be so negative? They were just asking for other people's thoughts. This has no connection to nerfing survivors.
-
In many horror games, there are numerous devices such as pools of blood, guts, dead bodies and other gory implements lying around. If more of these devices were in dbd then it would bring a horror atmosphere. In terms of horror dbd is quite lacking and is more thrilling than scary.

Sure! I love both games and if it helps bring more players to dbd I don't see the problem :)

What do you think about this collaboration?
I would like to see something DbD related in Fortnite and Fortnite in DbD.
Even the sheer thought of such a thing makes me want to scream in agony.

As well as a 3 second animation, how about the hatch closing after you so that you're the only survivor that can escape.

So simple question to kind of put my mind at ease or just maybe not feel alone in this. Is DS, OP? And why or why not? I don’t wanna start anything so try not to but like someone please help xD
Not at all. It's only purpose is basically to prevent tunnelling.

What the ######### bhvr?
This killer is literally the WORST killer you've brought out into the game. Like what the ######### ######### is this horse #########?
I've noticed that you didn't actually give any reasons as to why you don't like them.
-
It does actually, part of the twins power requires splitting and having the ability to be able to guard a specific area or in other words, camping. I think it's fair as it is basically what you are supposed to do as The Twins and crushing victor forces the player to become Charlotte once again. There also is a sort of stunned period during the switching transaction.

Just saying Cheryl aka her real name Heather, wish people referred to her properly.
Clearly a lot have never played the four original Silent Hill games in there life.
But yes I main Heather.
Actually, she was named Cheryl by her adoptive father and did also change her name officially to Cheryl when he was killed. However, she was originally called Heather and her adoptive father did change her name back to Heather to prevent the order from finding her. I guess both could be viewed as right.

Marry - Spirit (She's the cutest killer and you know it)
Kiss - Clown (He doesn't get enough love)
Kill - Hag (She doesn't even have lips)
Marry - Jane (She's got those curves)
Kiss - Cheryl (She's the cutest survivor and you know it)
Kill - Quentin (He's to ugly to live)
-
Honestly I love them all except Hawkins. It just seems so bland and dull.

Something I've been wondering: Does Victor's pounce mechanically count as a basic attack / can he make use of status effects like exposed?
probably not because separating and playing him counts as using your ability.

If you're still looking for answers, I would try putting on forced penance. Since Wraith is viewed as weak killer, people often body-block. It can come in handy for slowing down healing.

The fact that he finds everything so hilarious.

Now i really don't understand what this poll is suppose to represent. least favorite killer, and in the polls the groupings are so random? like The Shape/ The Cannibal/ and the Nightmare, how are any of these killers related apart from being licensed???
It means your personal least favourite killer, it can be related to any reason you want. As for the groupings being random, I did try to make them as similar as I could. It wasn't very easy as the killers all all vastly different. For example, I put The Trapper, Wraith and Hillbilly together because they were the original killers. I put The Doctor and Nurse together because, well you should be able to see the connection there. And yes I did indeed put The Shape,Cannibal and Nightmare together because they are all licensed.

All of them are garbage except the range ones but even those aren't really needed.who cares if trails last 20 seconds longer I'd rather that add on be something like hitting a survivor with potd makes them tormented. I don't even use His addons because they do so little just wish they changed them to be less boring
I agree with you. The ranged addons and iridescents are the only good one. And even the iridescents are just ok. I would like to see this new addon you've mentioned, it would make sense and be a really good addition.
-
NOED wouldn't work in that situation. The exits need to be powered so you wouldn't have got a 4k anyway.
-
I normally save them after I've done the gen I'm on or they reach the 2nd phase.
-
I think Legion is the weakest and has the most boring power in the game.
-
Nothing

It's a close one between camping and tunnelling. I hate both but I went with camping. Camping if fun for nobody and incredibly hard to work with. If you are camped there is a very small chance that you will escape and if you are you will be tunnelled and then camped again. If you are tunnelled, you can do things to stall the killer or even lose him. You could run certain perks such as quick and quiet, lithe or urban evasion. Camping is intentional, the killer knows that you can not escape with him guarding you. Sometimes, I find myself unintentionally tunnelling one guy because he's the only survivor I come across.
-
I don't see how anybody could hate her voice. Honestly I like it, it fits her character.
-
Honestly, it depends. He can be fun if you're going against him occasionally but you will easily tire of him if you go against him too often.
-
Seems like quite a controversial opinion but Dwight. In my opinion, his perks just a basically useless. Bond is decent but there are better perks.
-
@Yords said:
I mean, it makes sense with the lore from the text saying "your worked well, the last one's yours" and wouldn't be game-breaking since if somebody is downed as the last survivor they are dead anyways unless the killer is merciful. If you vote no, please explain why.
EDIT: Ok, this mori should only work if you have killed all other survivors by sacrificing them on hooks. Also, it can already be hard enough to get this to work normally.
It would make yellow moris completely null and remove them from the game. I just find that there is something particularly satisfying about killing the last survivor after bringing a yellow mori. I do think however, that a new mori should be added to create more variety. This mori would be purple rarity and would be called Amethyst memento mori. This mori would grant the ability to kill two survivors who have been hooked by your hand during the next Trial, as well as the last survivor. It's not anything particularly special but again, it would add some distinction between mori offerings.

Unrelated but does anyone else think the new killer looks like Abby from the last of us 2?
Looks more like a deranged meg.
-
Honestly, I hope that they don't change anything as it has been in the game for so long and works really well as it is. I really don't want them to replace it with skillchecks as that is unique to PH's cages.
-
I'd say Legion. Most of his skins just aren't impressive.
-
It's a good perk. It has made me hesitate many a time. I don't run it very often but it's decent.
-
Legion. No doubt about it.
-
Sometimes pallet loops can work. However when they are so long that the killer can't land a hit but the survivor can't run away without running the risk of being hit then we've got a problem as that doesn't benefit anybody.
-
Legion would be a lot better if they: Allowed him to see scratch marks during feral frenzy, reduced his stun after feral frenzy ends from a 4 second stun to a 2.5 second stun, completely changed all of his add-ons and made him slightly faster during feral frenzy.
-
I personally enjoy going against all stealth killers. They are all unique in a way. The Pig has the ability to dash forward while crouching and quickly surprise people with a swift hit. The Ghostface blends in quite well in most environments, which means that he is able to hide effectively. The Wraith will use his power to come right up behind you and the wailing of his bell will alert you to his presence. The Shape is the true meaning of stealth. He will suddenly appear from behind a bush or a wall and dart at you without you even being aware of his existence. I find all of these killers entertaining and a change from your regular killers.
-
The Clown is fine just as he is thank you very much.
-
Trapper needs an extra trap.
-
T-bag with my fellow survivors to show them that I love them and cherish their presence. Only then can I work on a gen.
-
Seems like a cool idea and I would gladly see this.

The 2018 one was better.
