Don't worry about it.. people get salty... that is the nature of this beast we call DBD and the internet.
Play by your rules... play and learn... you'll get better.
People shouldn't be messaging others after matches even if they try to be constructive and friendly about it... They pretend to be nice while they waggle their finger at you... Tell them all to get bent and ignore them.
If you want to learn and get better, look up Youtube videos.. and watch some streamers. Don't listen to asshats who message you afterwards.

Yeah 3 streamers is pretty good.. I don't think even I've gotten that one yet.. gotten a streamer and a few puddings but thats about it.

What is point of doing gens when you can just run around and makes saves.. get into chases... then try to get out at the end?
Generators are pointless anyways.. other than for points. :)

@NoShinyPony that is what I'm thinking.. I have a feeling they are going to make one of the newest high tier killers... Taking him from the bottom of the list and placing him near the top.

Maybe his bar is based on Fear.. so when he hits someone and chases them.. they get scared and charge up his power...
Just depends what his power is now...
Maybe a one shot?.. maybe allows him to bring a survivor into the dreamworld and one shot them.

Yeah that looks interesting.. so maybe Freddy doesn't need to put survivors to sleep to hit them anymore.
Maybe the pulling in the Dreamworld has more serious consequences to the survivor in that they can't interact with certain objects?

So Freddy doesn't have to put survivors to sleep to hit them? Maybe hitting the survivor now brings them into the Dreamworld?

There is actually a way right now Survivors can battle against killers putting out Moris... which is been built into the game in the last update. You can figure it out since burning of offerings appear before the loading screen.
Moris aren't that a big of a deal, but I understand why people can be frustrated with them. I find if I throw out a mori, it turns the group of survivors into stealthy tryhards and they rush the gens.
However the Devs are going to have to do something about those secret offerings once survivors catch onto preventing killers from ever using their Moris ever again.

I'd tell EAC to perma ban everyone who changed their icon files for perks and the load out screens... Then quit the next day.

I don't know why people would think you'd be signing a NDA?
They don't have to tell you squat about the game or what you are testing... you are probably download another version of the current build but connecting to a specific server or something. No new content..
I would highly doubt anyone sees any new content.. and keeping 500 people under wraps from around the globe... Good Luck...

I would be 100% surprised if anyone seen anything new other than maybe connecting to dedicated servers, or tools using those dedicated servers in the game itself, which isn't a big deal.

Random perks would be cool... Would be interesting if they put in a slot machine mechanic.. so you could pull the lever and get a random killer or survivor, perks and offerings.

TBH... Doesn't matter where you put them... You think by hiding them better you'll save about 10 or more seconds before it is destroyed.
How much harder can they hide them seriously?... They would need to put them in such a fashion where you wouldn't be able to see them unless you're a few meters away.. which would be insane.
Stop relying on the perk if you have a hard time using it. It really isn't that big of a deal.
Don't put them near the shack.. don't put them near the gens.. don't put them on the hills.. don't put them in the open...
Don't let it spawn nears survivors... Cause we don't know where you spawn and then realize which side of the map it is on.. so you made my job 50% easier.
Guess what... That means they are all in certain locations now... making them even easier to find. The harder you make them to find on the maps.. The easier overtime survivors will smash them down... It doesn't take long for good survivors to know and remember where most of the hiding spots are.

Well you've seen the killer side of the challenge... The survivor side is to be the last one alive... before 2 gens get done, is ideal... Then the race starts for the hatch... Who gets it first... Does the survivor escape or not?
If you don't escape then the goal is to prevent the killer from seeing the Entity.
If the Killer doesn't get to see the Entity... Then they don't get any cookies.

There is a new mini game at the end should you take up the challenge for both the killer and survivor.
The challenge is there for all to discover.

@Blueberry TBH though.. they don't even need to DC in the match.. they can have one of their teammates DC during the loading screen right after the game shows them you are burning a secret offering.
At least you get to keep your offering though. This hasn't caught on too much, but I've gotten this a few times.

Wrong. You can 100% close the hatch if a survivor is standing on it. I have done it to many a teabagging survivor

If you stand on the hatch you can prevent the other side from interacting with it.
Killer can prevent the survivor from jumping in.. and the survivor can stop the killer from closing it.

It used to be easier to do this.. but with the new match making it makes it more tough. Since the killer queues seem to be a bit more tougher to predict. If it is still based off the bucket idea, you'd need to make sure you get selected within the same bucket.. which you have no idea if that is happening or not.
So it is pretty much a crap shoot now... Only thing that helps is being the same rank.

That is the thing though.. it the PS4 was recording... wouldn't it record everything?.. since it only shows her character standing still during that moment.. it would say that it was't from the PS4.
Pressing home might be just sending the signal to the TV to switch inputs aswell... when the TV is on another input and you press Home on the PS4.. does it switch back to PS4?

I had it where.. me and another were slugged at the end game.. the one crawled out the exit gate.. and after they did.. the timer went to normal even though I was on the ground in the dying state.

No way..... When there is only one survivor left... and no gens done.... The Challenge begins!
Find the hatch first... it is a race to who can find it.... You already move faster than the survivor.
It isn't a good challenge unless you give them the feeling they have a chance.

Yeah probably not.. with the one person who owns the license.. or rights or whatever.. comes out and mentions DBD and an announcement of the 28th of May....
We get a Dev build that contains the new killer.. their cosmetics... AND new cosmetics for Piggy... Fog whisper hinting at a big announcement at the near the end of May...
And NO SURVIVOR info.. nothing.. no perks... no hidden suggestions of a survivor in the code... or anything... And people think there is a survivor coming in?
Very very doubtful.
Only thing that could make me think otherwise... would be the new Piggy outfits being the big announcement and The Ghost coming shortly afterwards.. but I doubt it.

instead of whining about the perk now before the nerf even goes in yet.. why don't you wait for what the new MOM.. play it.. and provide some feedback on why you don't like the new changes, if you don't.
The reality is... The perk is going to be changed... They've already starting moving forward on it.
Just like when MOM was leaked and all the whiners came out to complain before they even knew for 100% it was going into the game... What happened? The Devs still put the perk in as it was...
So what makes you think they are going to all of a sudden stop with the MOM nerf? Cause you made a big long thread about it?

I agree with Blueberry in that you don't know why they are testing Vanilla DBD.
It could simply be the second phase of Dedicated Server testing they mentioned that was going to happen.
The whole thing could be just about making sure the core mechanics are working correctly on the servers before they roll it out for more people to test.

@Madjura So did you apologize to the Devs for wasting their time when for some reason you felt the need to prove their report system was working?
They already don't track crashes as DCs.. That has been mentioned from a long time ago.
They had some loading screen issues, which they even said on the Dev stream isn't 100% but they feel allot better about handling those issues than before.
So I don't understand what sort of issue you are trying to knight here.
Do you work for the company?.. Where you would have some more insight on to why YOU THINK they shouldn't feel comfortable enough to put the limits back to normal?

I don't think they should do that... The less the Devs feed into the "Main" BS the better.
I think the Devs would like people to enjoy both sides of the game as it helps provide better feedback and less arguments when people can see both sides of the coin.

The Collapse has brought forth with it, a new mini game within Dead By Daylight.
We first had the Chat, then the Forums... we also have the Game itself.... And now... The EGC. The End Game Challenge.
What Challenge you ask?
Simple... As Killer.. Kill 3 rabbits in your match.... Then hold the last one until the Entity eats them. Pretty simple right! But you need to record your challenge.. and make sure the last rabbit is thanked for their participation in this glorious event.
As Survivor... Your challenge will be to last survivor, with at least 1 gen left, and no gates opened before the Killer closes the hatch to begin the challenege. Will the rabbit make it out.. or not?... That is the challenge.
Remember everyone...
