Would you kick baby Yoda?

It at least works against hatch right?

Eh it's the ptb. Ppl are going to leave their feedback. Then there are the people who are commenting based off videos that they've seen without playing the ptb at all. Yeah they might have good reasons why they can't access the ptb but it's still kinda weird to leave feedback.

Reshade is whitelisted for reasons. Instead of creating a cry-thread for every game you buy, just learn to use it. It's childsplay. Aso i have never played ANY game that had something as you describe it. No idea where this entitlement is coming from.
Is reshade whitelisted? I thought their official stance was you can take the risk to do it but if you get banned then you get banned.
-
I think they use Eastern time. They're based in Montreal

I still think that casual mode will be 10 times more toxic than whatever we have right now. Ppl will complain that some1 is trying too hard or some1 isn't trying hard enough. Or who cares it's casual mode so I'll just teabag my downed teammate. In the end, if you want to play the game and succeed without really trying you're better off just asking the devs for a DBD bot mode, which can double as a practice mode.
-
Is this bait?
I feel like I read this recently except it was a survivor complaining.

And im saying that is not a thing anymore.. so why do we even discuss about it? Devs made rank reset from 10 to 5 just for killers.. now every trash player is a rank 1 and gets demolished. so please lets first talk about serious issues before saying "survivors are still OP" or whatever.
why didnt you talk about the amount of dead ends on maps?
Bloodlust, Aim detection, 90% unsafe pallets in every map, the potatoes in red ranks, the hitbox 3x bigger then the actual models of survivors, the garbage dedi server to give killers undeserved hits?
why are you just talking about YOUR side, and im sure you're a killer main who is entitled to his opinion.
go play a little bit survivor, play on killer sided maps with potatoes who just hide also play against a mori and iri head using huntress.
before even talking about balance play the other role, i dont see any issues playing killer nowadays the only time a killer is struggling its because a cordinated team what is barely the case.
i know what im talking about, im a Huntress & Nurse player and 90% of my matches i get my 4K with 2-3 gens left.
stop with the entitledment and be serious, how hard is it to play killer?
i tell you when you have a hard time
-4man swf on comms, + Ormond offering + key + meta perks
now tell me how many times do you get that? 1x in 100 games probably.
not only that.. killers who are supposed to be rank 10 get boosted by rank 1 potatoes who are supposed to be rank 15 and as soon the killer gets some good players he comes to the forum and whines and cries how unbalanced the game is... yeah sure bud.
if you win 9/10 matches easily and start complain at the 10th game because you lost.. sorry but that is nothing else then entitlement.
"OMG IM THE KILLER, THE POWERROLE, I NEED TO 4K EVERY SINGLE GAME DOESNT MATTER HOW MUCH MISTAKES I HAVE DONE, DOESNT MATTER, EVEN WHEN I CHASE A SINGLE SURVIVOR FOR 3 MINUTES I SHOULD STILL HAVE TIME TO WIN"
that is the entitletment of killer mains and dont even try to prove me wrong these are facts.
Killers have nowadays so many advantages as i mentioned Bloodlust, unsafe pallets, smaller maps, insta downs, moris, soloQ full with potatoes, aim detection, dedi servers, hitboxes 3x larger then the actual model etc
so please.. stop with this BS. learn the game, git gud and accept it when you lose 1 time out of 10 matches.
Lol. You sound more toxic and entitled as than the other guy. Anybody can list the advantages of either side and make it all seem op.
There are 4 survivors, survivors have 2 health states b4 they get downed, when hit survivors get a free speed boost, they can be hooked 3 times, have hatch, if hatch is shut the exit gates light up, run nearly as fast as killers without bloodlust, bloodlust takes awhile to build up and it's possible to slow its build up, it's very easy to force a killer into losing bloodlust, can stealth, have a bunch of perks that either enhance abilities or straight up cover up mistakes, have access to pallets, are faster at vaulting than killers, have a 3rd person camera, dedicated servers make killers get sucked into animations even when it doesn't do anything (grabs, lunges, etc), you can actually play with friends as survivor, can fat shame the killer in areas, don't usually glow red like the killer, killers are big so they can be more easily seen, etc, etc.
There's a lot more advantages I could write but they don't matter. None of it matters at all.

Tunnelling is actually one of the stronger decisions the killer can make, as removing a player ASAP is very beneficial.
I don't think it would be fair to introduce an anti-tunnel mechanic outside DS without weakening the survivor role when it comes to the equivalent, rushing the generators.
Here's my idea for it. https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1733719#Comment_1733719

I think you're missing one crucial fact. They nerfed everything fun and interesting on both sides but kept things still strong for the sake of balance. Nobody enjoys those changes on either side. Stop trying to please everyone.

I'm sure the 30-35% of escapes are killers playing survivor, because every killer say this game is survivors sided, and they always escape
You can be sure that a good chunk of survivor deaths are from tilted survivors or ppl who just don't care.

There are some people who even think that doing it slowly = I'm being camped and spamming it rapidly = get your butt over there and save me.

I'd say that it was worse with DC penalty off.

Uh it doesn't work when gens are powered then.

Title. Similar to Iridescent Coin on Deathslinger, would Huntress' Iridescent Head be more balanced if it only worked past a certain range? I don't play Deathslinger much, but I've heard this is a pretty bad add-on because of how little range there is for Slinger to actually get that very specific range, but I imagine on Huntress it would be way better. I don't play Huntress much either, so it's just a thought. I mean, her hatchets are the size of School-busses, so maybe it'll never be balanced.
I think it would be fair if they buffed the number of Hachets Huntress carries with iri too but remove the extras she gets from her add-ons.

Nah it's definitely the thing from Adams family. If you slow down the teaser you'll realize that it's a hand!

Doesn't work like that. The Rift and skins are all low cost to make. It's better for them business wise to put these in regardless of what happens, unless the game dies.

A punch that is easily blocked, because you twist to the side with the knife. And you don't only pay attention to one thing. You pay attention to EVERYTHING THATS THERE. This is easy enough: I learned it at white belt.
Ah yes... Sure. A white belt in what exactly? Whatever it doesn't matter. I'm just warning you that this arrogance will get yourself hurt.

I have never watched a single movie like that. I have the training myself, and I can tell you from experience, it is much easier to take someone down with a knife. They lunge, you twist to their side, outing one hand right above their wrist, and one right below their bicep. From there pull with the hand above their wrist, and push with the hand below their bicep, breaking their arm. Additionally, one could go behind and choke one. Thats two down already. Then its a four v two.
Yes I can write a bunch of steps on how to do anything. You twist to the side, the person punches you in the face while your attention is stuck to the knife.
Ps some1 untrained in punching is just as likely to do a wide swing or lunge similar to the situation with a knife.

Fighting a person with a knife is much easier than one without one. They will use the knife, leaving an opening to disarm them, and take away all of their power, adding it to your own. That being said, anyone with minimal training could easily take down the legion.
U watch too many movies. "Fighting a person with a knife is much easier than one without one"... Anybody trained to do things like that will tell you that the best thing to do is to not to get into a situation where you need to even try to use any of those techniques.
I do think the survivors could still take the teens in a 4 vs 4 but its not cuz of some ez techniques.

Thank God it's only Captain America's power level. Captain America is tough but most of his combat prowess comes from his training. Remove his training and even captain America could be overwhelmed by 4 ppl.

That's what I always think when people start this conversation of survivors vs killers lol. Isn't the Entity supposed to strengthen the killers?
If slamming a pallet and decisive striking is enough to stun the killer, i'm sure there must be a way to defeat these guys long enough to escape.

I've had a crashing problem for the past month and I've been trying to stop it and since it happens every 1-3 games, the penalty doesn't have time to go down, so my question is if it only goes down when playing games without disconnecting or if it goes down even while not playing. And as much as I love the dc penalty It has stopped me from playing the game.
From what I heard it goes down 24 hours since your last penalty ends without a DC. Your don't need 24 hours in game to have it decay just 24 hours. I dunno if it resets fully or only goes back 1 DC layer (?).

What do you mean?
The overcomplicating things part is that things would quickly get confusing with what perks get buffed by putting them together and what perks get nerfed together. It'll be a headache for the devs to balance and for the players to figure out unless you own most of the perks and can compare things.
The railroaded builds is just that. If you start putting special buffs or nerfs on perk combos the devs are the ones designing and choosing which perks should go together and which shouldn't.
Also, it kinda sounds like a lot of extra steps to do things instead of just buffing, nerfing or putting caps on perks individually.
-
I think the problem with dbd as a solo queue survivor is that 40% of the game is boring, 40% is frustrating and 20% is fun. I don't think a lot of other survivors realize this but a lot of their suggestions sound like it'll make the game 80% boring, 10% frustrating and 10% fun, unless they really enjoy doing gens while peacefully waiting their turn to get chased again.
I don't think I can say much about killer other than I find it too stressful and frustrating compared to boring.
-
Isn't this just overcomplicating things and railroading builds?
-
So basically we know nothing and these are the best guesses.
-
Some1 is starting to sound... U know, who cares. Just report all of them.

I would not see any conjunctions between that. BHVR is quite slow with changes, in fact, changing the Silent Hill-Perks so fast was an exception. So they most likely wanted to change PGTW for quite a long time but either feared the backlash of it (which was certainly lower, because with Ruin/Undying there was an alternative) or they just did not want to change it that soon after it got buffed.
But, as with your line of thought, this is pure speculation. You can indeed be correct, but we will never know.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1731229#Comment_1731229
I can only bring in my own experience, and I simply know that I am not good enough to get 15 4Ks out of 16 games. So either I got carried by the Build or I had Potatoes for 16 games in a row. And I think the first option is more realistic.
Oh I can believe that you ran into 16 potatoes in a row.
-
But then wouldn't the killer just down you again and kill you? The only reason why the killer walks away from the last person being hooked right now is the fact that they think it's game over.
-
@Aven_Fallen said:

You dont need Corrupt or PGTW when you have Ruin/Undying anyway. Let alone that NOED is completely counter-productive with Ruin/Undying.
You are sacrificing 3 Perk Slots for basically not needing to learn how to chase, as long as you are playing a high-mobility Killer who can scare the players off Gens. When I used this Build on Blight when I prestiged him from P2 to P3 (I got really lucky with the Bloodweb, even if the Perks were not all on Tier 3), I won every game. Like 15 out of 16 were 4Ks, the last one was a Hatch Escape. And Blight is one of the hard Killers to learn and I am not good at Killer in general. I just got carried by the Build.
So despite sacrificing 3 Perk Slots, you get a Build which can carry you, even if you are not that good.
If they can't chase they're probably not downing fast enough. If they're chasing 1 survivor off a gen with ruin for 30 seconds the gen only lost 15 seconds while there are 3 other gens being completed. If the killer is as no skill as you're saying and constantly dropping chases, the survivors are going to beat out the killer regardless. Now that doesn't work out in solo queue sadly but it's not because the killer is no skill. It's cuz solo queue has ppl at varying levels of skill and ppl can't even loop.
-
You should probably get rid of hooks in the game and hanging people then. Replace them with a hole in the ground or something. Or hats labeled with entity in them.
-
To answer your question yes there's been discussion on the perk on the forums. Just use the search function to find it.
-
@SunderMun said:
Yeah, I have to admit is is odd we haven't heard anything about it in so long; it feels like they've possibly abandoned the idea, which would be quite sad, tbh.
The devs said that they're working on it. And that's about it.
-
I'd say that if the devs actually got dead hard working well with dedicated servers and latency then you might have a point. As things are now you could still bait out dead hard cuz survivors need to compensate the timing for server issues. Same thing with extending loops.
-
There probably are hacks like that that exist. At the same time you never know if the killer happened to see some1 in the distance during a chase or somehow heard a noise and headed in the general area. Maybe there were scratch marks. Maybe they noticed a gen had been worked on and knew a survivor was probably in the area. Maybe the killer went to kick a gen and went in the wrong direction. Maybe the killer just got lucky.
-
Repetitive counterplay = boring killer? Rip DBD. There's no such thing as a fun killer to play against.

This is very true of any Hag on Xbox. The frame drops when she teleports prevent her from getting those tasty insta-hits, and flicks aren't possible. It's the main reason why I see a hag in high ranks maybe twice a month or so. About the same as nurse and her big ol bag of bugs.
On a side note I'd love to see killer usage per console lately, along with kills etc. We need more stats to twist and distort in the forums...
U can still make your own that are true but misleading. Examples:
- hatch has a 100% escape rate. Hatch op.
- Moris lead to less sacrifices in games. Or killers who only Mori survivors are actually shown to have 0 chance of getting a sacrifice. Moris too weak.
- in every match of dbd a minimum of 20% of players don't even bother to repair gens. Solo queue sucks.
- A Killer's m1 somehow has a 100% casualty rate against a survivor. Killers op.

I didn't even think about the rank times. But aren't they pretty mixed with the ranks you can get right now anyway?
This is just going by what happened in the past of dbd. I dunno if they've changed things but if they haven't and things are already this slow with rainbow ranks then 50 ranks would just make things worse.
-
It won't work. It'll just lead to those who are super good at the game purposefully deranking cuz wait times at higher ranks are too long. So those that are super good are chained to the highest average rank. Then as time goes on everyone eventually hits rank 1 again. Only now newer players are even more intimated by the rank numbers.
-
Number of hours don't necessarily equal skill. Especially since at a certain point you're all hitting the skill ceiling. For all you know 60 percent of their hours was on killer, 30 percent in loading screens/queues, 5 percent kyf, 5 percent survivor. Plus, how is anyone going to find matches if we're sorting by hours played. Let's say you catch up to them in hours. They'll have double your hours then...
-
An unranked queue leads to ppl just trolling, holding the game hostage, tunneling, camping, and just generally doing whatever they want cuz it doesn't matter. Then you get ppl salty that you're trying too hard or not hard enough. Then who knows if they add in harsher DC penalties in ranked and a DC penalty in casual. It's like ppl haven't played in games with rank and unranked games. sure make an unranked queue. If it drives ppl away then it drives people away. If it succeeds then okay.
-
I think I would love if all walls start off as killer advantaged (i.e makes more sense to leave them up) but they are used as ambush zones. The walls are see through (for the killer) and a killer can smash through a wall and hurt a survivor. However, after smashing through the wall, the area now becomes survivor advantaged. Given X amount of time the wall heals and comes back.
-
U forgot DC penalties need to be removed, Moris, keys, bloodpoints too low for survivors, killer sided/survivor sided game/devs/forums... I might be missing some more.
Honorable mention: ruin is still being complained about.
-
Try taking a break and playing survivor or a different game. Then go back to killer.
