No, they already said in Reddit Q&A from May 14 that the certification process would be slower because it's a big update and consoles would very likely get it later.

Increase in gen time for higher ranked games for sure, but just make the gens a bit more tricky to fix. I've just had a great Gen idea but i'll post it somewhere else

As I've said earlier and some ppl not you but some completely ignore the fact they said 1-2 weeks. As in business days Monday through Friday. MS got back to them today which is still under that 2 week timeframe. So tomorrow aka Wednesday would be the 14th business day.
unfortunately a lot of people don't seem to understand what a working week is

I think an Opt-out feature would be a good idea.
Also i'm a streamer myself and I would definitely opt out of the chat for sure

I did actually try DbD on PC first. It ran like sludge. The only way I CAN play DbD is on console unless one of the PC Master race feels generous enough to fork over the dough. Otherwise? Maybe they should stop telling people "lol get a PC".
I play on both, however I enjoy playing it slightly more on Console as like I said allows me to lounge about a bit more, plus there is no troll chat after each game which is always nice

Since the big sticking point around here seems to be "It's delayed because it involves the store and the update is so large" then why not break the update into two? That way the console gets to have something fun for the anniversary AND we get to rack up shards for the store once it hits 2-3 weeks later.
I'm not saying they were thinking "How can we screw our console players?" I'm saying they weren't thinking.
As for other posters who are complaining sometimes in business you cant give an update because there is no update to give. Doesnt mean there is some big secret silence and cover up, just means they have nothing to tell you.
On a positive note - you/we will all get 3 weeks less to wait for the next content release so itll feel like content is churning faster then. I can see patience is a drastically limited resource on the human race these days -

It's not a mistake. It was a deliberate choice by the devs to sacrifice the console community so the PC players could have something "special" for the anniversary. And the reason they had to make that choice is either poor planning or a disregard for half their community. Maybe both.

I mean srsly, with the potential SB perk change, maybe they go a bit further - their reason for changing SB is saying well, you cant recover from exhaustion whilst your running.
I am being a little facetious, but the point I'm trying to make is that making changes based on realism is seldom a good idea. Teabagging is very annoying, but the best thing you can do is try to keep a positive attitude and at the very least just have the mindset that as soon as this game ends you can get into a new one. Trying to keep people from crouching repeatedly is a little bit of a lost cause.
Oh I agree, but they are basing exhaustion and the SB perk change on realism - I don't think ive ever been tbgged by a survivor in this game I was just curious

Well you must be new since it's what survivor told (back in the day) when killer complained about infinite like this one
Or when people complained about old ds that was instant for every survivor

- I readied up pretty quick - is that too quick? how quick am I supposed to ready up? Is 9 seconds too fast? Am I showing the killer my eagerness and that im easier than a prom date?
- Oh I have to wear an outfit I don't like so the killer can maybe spot me easier..ah yes I need to make it easier for the killer to see me..i forgot that was in essence what the game is about.
I have a low rank and 3 T3 Prestige characters, I have played the game a lot but play with low level players and just have fun, I'm not a try hard by any means - but you lobby dodging is ruining the game for me.
