I'm not, and have no troubles with spirit.
So what edgy snyde remark do you have for ME?

Again, that never stopped the devs before.
In what sense?

Nurse fatigue was also equivalent to a cooldown, but that didn't stop the devs.
Throwing all those hatchets so quickly makes her arm tired, it only makes sense she needs a break between each one. She's only a superhuman.
This is true, but to be fair, the only things people are complaining about regarding Huntress is with regards to Iriheads and janky hits stemming from latency issues.
-
Isn't the fact that she needs to reload at lockers equivalent to a cooldown?
-
Meh? I don't see anything wrong with that.

What if I use kindred plus empathy?
I currently use Kindred plus Bond.

IMO Kindred > Bond > Empathy

What about switching the rarities of Anti-Haemorrhagic Syringe and Styptic Agent? The Agent seems stronger than the Syringe now, anyways.

I can't help but wish that what happens next is that The Trapper does a long-winded, bad guy speech, ending with "Now, prepare to meet your doom! Butterfly Traps! Kill them!" and eitherside of him the traps start flapping their jaws, levitate and charge at them.
Now I wish that would happen.

I really hope you recorded/reported them.

Not negatively.

I can't believe he said in that video with a straight face that Cypress Mori is stronger than Ebony Mori. What is wrong with him?
-
If they are off again, it is almost definitely because a streamer was hacked into having a big DC ban yet again.
-
Making mechanics that only exist to super hard counter certain killers is really unhealthy for the game. Either they do nothing and are a waste, or they do everything and screw the Killer over. Neither scenario is good IMO.

I should've stated this fact before... but not all perks should have 3 different effects like new Ruin is good and all it was just an example i used
DH shouldn't get three different effects due to it's powerful effect
CI wouldn't get touched, Sloppy, BBQ has enough conditions for the effect it has, Gearhead just needs to include great skillchecks,
It would still be way too much work.
-
You're basically suggesting tripling the number of perks. That would require an absurd amount of extra work.
-
Personally, I would prefer it if Survivors needed a second or so of repairing a damaged generator in order for it to stop regressing. Would still allow for Overcharge to function as normal.

Exactly.
Maybe emotes are good, but gore ones.
Ghost Face
Puts a finger through his mouth to shush people.
Freddy
Throws back his head and breaks his neck.
Blight
Takes out his journal and writes in it with blood coming from his severed-off hand. Edit: Alternatively he could inject himself with more juice really really gorily.
Etc. etc. 😋

Wouldn't this be a killer buff for endgame? The third survivor cannot suicide fast enough, so the other one can go for the hatch?
Shouldn't be too hard to make a system that can determine when someone suicides on hook too early in the game for it to be anything other than a ragequit and punishes someone who does it excessively. To be fair, random hook escapes are bad IMO for reasons beyond hook suicides, so I wouldn't mind a change to that system (though not a removal of it completely like OP suggests).
-
Identity V has a surrender system (IIRC, Killer can surrender after a certain amount of time has passed, Survivors can surrender if everyone is downed and the decision is unanimous among all Survivors). It works well, from the looks of it. I would use that system.
-
I remember someone suggesting that locker teleporting could be a power of the Clown as part of a clown's magic trick (at the expense of rendering the exit locker temporarily unusable).
-
I doubt that, given that Spine Chill is a base perk and Ruin wasn't a thing until Chapter 3. Even if that were the case, I don't see anything about Spine Chill that is really an issue?
-
Possibility that the rank 16 is SWF with someone else?

Yep, they do. You get an update basically saying “the content you flagged broke our terms of service” or whatever. They don’t tell you if the person got banned but Sony is reasonably strict on that stuff.
Strange. Guess they were on a lunch break.
-
Anyone have any idea if Playstation also has a notification thing for if an action is taken against another person? I remember someone once sent me a message on there bustin' out that traditional homophobic slur nonstop for, like, a whole minute. Naturally, I reported them to Sony, but I never found out if anything ever came of that report.
-
So much for "third time's the charm."
-
Even a neutered Whispers is likely too powerful for base kit.

an extra option in the settings would fix it. Its an acessibility feature just like daltonism option but doesnt give any competitive advantage in the game so there is no reason to put it there.
I'd rather not give Survivors the option to ragequit faster. No button mash pls.

That doesn't disprove the viability of killers at all. Winning at high ranks with a meme build proves killer viability, whether or not you think survivors could be playing a little better in your games.
I can only speak anecdotally, so I know that my experiences definitely don't say much in the grand scheme of things. Sure, there are games where I have to definitely work for it, and there are games where I get rekt, but I definitely also have my share of games where I am genuinely questioning if some of them are even purple rank, let alone red rank.

The shuffler is rigged, how else do I draw more copies of a specific cards than lands twice in a row? Stop trying to pretend WotC isn't a corrupt company willing to use every strategy at their disposal to make more money from mtga.
Also, you forgot your "/s."

Either way, killers have all the tools they need to succeed. How else would it be possible to win 100 games in a row as killer? It's not like you're facing the worst survivors dbd has to offer EVERY SINGLE GAME. Wow killers really will go to the furthest lengths in order to victimize themselves and tell a sob story.
I can't be going against that many good Survivors if I am able to win frequently in high ranks with a pure meme build.

Probably about 100,000 people play the game a day. Steam says about 40k, and I'm doubling and adding some to account for consoles.
To have a 95% confidence on a population of 100k, you need about 400 games.
Like I said, that's a far cry short of a massive amount of games.
400 is not gonna cut it. You definitely need something in the thousands.
-
The Cannibal is already in the game.

@SavouryRain said:

So then use statistical methods to determine just how big of a sample size is needed before just talking about low sample sizes?
For the record: 50 games probably isn't quite enough, but "thousands and thousands" is just speculative posturing.
You need a massive amount of games in order for it to be even a little reasonable. Thousands upon thousands is not an unreasonable request if the notion is understanding the balance of the game, considering how many players play the game.

Ain't nothin' mentally gymnastic about sample sizes. That's just statistics 101.

So 50 with Legion with no add-ons, and 50 with Hag no add-ons. That's a 100. If he does all 20 killers, That's 1000, but I know a bunch of the killer mains won't be satisfied. With realizing that it's really just them that are playing poorly and they need to level up. When I do lose I tend to look at myself and try to figure out what I did wrong, while others try to blame the game and perks etc.
This is the sort of thing you need to track thousands of games of between many, many people both Killer and Survivor. That sample size is just a drop in the bucket between the data that could be collected by, say, BHVR.
I've already had to explain this far too many times to people on the MTG Arena forums whenever they wanted to claim the shuffler was "rigged."

Well the question is how many games does one have to do before it isn't anecdotal? 100 games is a pretty decent sample size I'd say. But he plans on attempting it with all of the killers. We don't really have a way to determine something like this group of survivors are the best in the world, same for killer. We don't have a real way to say this is the best killer in the world. But I think it at least paints a pretty good picture that killers are not as weak as some killer mains try to make you believe.
Probably more than 50.
-
I've made it to Rank 1 playing nothing but Agitation, Iron Grasp, Mad Grit, and Surge. This is just anecdotal, but I have a feeling it has less to do with the strength of Killers and more to do with there being a decent amount of not good players out there.
-
You have to work to get the Exposed status with Myers. Not so with NOED. Also, I would argue the running speed increase of NOED is more impactful than the lunge+vault speed increase.

The discussion itself has no sense at all, since BHVR will never do anything to SWF. Most SWFs ARE bad and BHVR will never punish people who play with friends. In fact, every SWF-Thread should be closed immediatly, since it is a useless discussion which is only bad for the Climate of the Forum.
But, to be more align to the forum (and being productive to the discussion as you wish) - BUH, SWF bad, Killers too weak!!!11
You don't seem like you are discussing this in good faith.

I mean, I have to assume that, considering how upset players get on this game if they dont 4K/escape. I stopped caring long ago and just have fun.
That's still a strawman and isn't productive to the discussion.
-
They removed the ability to sabotage Bear Traps, which is a step in the right direction. I get the feeling that removing Lightburn will be more of a "when" than an "if."

I said players, not Killer. This goes for Survivors as well, who complain about unreasonable stuff.
Would be nice, if you would not assume things, thank you :)
Fair, I did misread. Let me amend my previous statement:
You're kinda strawmanning by saying that players just want to win every game.

Oh, it is. There are a lot of bad Killers in Red Ranks as well. Because Killer is easy as well, so of course there are people who are not that good at the game. DBD is not a hard game, but for some reason players think that they deserve to win every game.
You're kinda strawmanning by saying that Killers just want to win every game.

SWFs who destory Killers (you know, those which are very, very rare or, according to Forum and Reddit Killers are in 99% of their matches) will probably also be able to do the same while playing Solo.
I don't believe that notion is necessarily true.

SWF is fine. Comms dont make the usual Red Rank Potatoes to godlike players. And nope, you are losing far less to Sweat-Squads as you think.
Comms don't make bad players good. Comms make good players excessive.
