The hatch, even if it opened a few moments sooner, would still be Killer sided. It went from being evenly matched, to being very Killer sided. Swinging it slightly back toward the middle would still leave it in the Killer's favor while giving survivors a slightly better shot. There's nothing wrong with this. A 3k / 1 escape is still above balance. The idea that because the occasional SWF could bait the Killer is the Killer's issue. Don't get baited then. Or take the bait, enjoy your 3k and move on. You still freaking won. LOL
Changing the hatch timer invites the game to be held hostage, because the killer wants a 4K or the SWF group wants one of them to escape. This happens with current hatch mechanics.
Your theory of decreasing the hatch opening will always invite a survivor bait, it’s why hatch tech dc’s are a thing it proves the lengths survivors will go to.
The hatch currently is balanced, it’s sheer luck either side stumbles upon it during the game, if survivors want increased luck in finding it before the killer closes it run the perk Left Behind.
If the killer closes the hatch, he played better than the team of survivors accept the loss move on to the next game.
You don’t see killers asking for longer gate opening times simply because he played poorly 🤣

When I don’t wanna sweat, and have a easy game to get a quick daily done.
Like Myers... I dislike playing Myers... But love Piggy and GF

Don't break the breakable walls in this room no matter what:
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/485/RL65EZ41XDNM.jpg
It's gonna open the very strong long between this window and the next one on the second floor.
You’re forced to break it otherwise survivors can stand in this room be slugged, and killers can’t hook them. I know this because I’ve done it as survivor. 😂
So it’s bad advise.
-
Streamers have shown GF is viable and fun, and killers have caught on.
Salty player will say “You only won because of xx streamers build” like it’s forbidden to ever use those perks..... They’re quick to blame someone else but fail to acknowledge they learnt Dead hard, DS, BT, Adrenaline build off of a friend, of a friend, of a friend that watched the streamer back in the day 😂
Moral to the story is people don’t like being outplayed in PVP games
-
5 x totems 14 seconds perk totem = 70 seconds for 5 totems
4 x survivor
5 x gens 80 seconds per gen = 4:00 minutes based off 1 x survivor
chances are you come across these totems they’re just not a priority in survivors heads. Yet survivors state they take too long to cleanse
Imagine blaming a 3 perk killer for 1 perk that’s activated in the final 2 minutes of gameplay, instead of acknowledging survivors ignorance.....
A simple all rounded survivor acknowledgment of totems are priorities would make NOED obsolete and killers would stop running it.
But go ahead, make a valid argument on how it’s not ignorance I’ll wait.....
-
It should be left as is, otherwise SWF can take full advantage of it.
2 x survivors are left one survivor runs to the opposite end of the map furthest away from the hatch and fast vaults a window repeatedly. Killer hooks said survivor. Last survivor gets ez hatch.
it could be argued that the killer should just slug, while he searches for the last survivor but that becomes boring for all participants. And the game would get held hostage until the slugged survivor bleeds out
-
You’re playing killer wrong. Or should survivor stand in a corner to make it easier on you

Removing the notification wouldn’t do much since if they’re the type to proxy camp, they’ll just keep an eye on the survivor portraits.
Portraits would need some form of rework too,
but it’ll be easy to loose track of portraits while searching the map for other survivors
-
@LALYTHIA said:
I feel like if killers didn't get notified they would just proxy camp everyone. It would also hurt perks like MYC. But it could be fun to have a special game mode where players play more blind like this.
If they choose to proxy camp then the killers throw the game all together, the audio notification enables them to know instantly when to return to the hook.
i get what you’re saying though

Uhh the only one I see is "hit 3 hatchets in a game". That's not even 2 downs? Assuming you are not a green rank killer running into red rank SWFs that seems doable in 1-2 games, even if you don't play huntress ever.
It’s why I mentioned Tome 3 overall, More Huntress challenges will present themselves

My sensitivity is 70% now, 100% is way too fast.
I’m getting caught on tiles that I’d normally hug.
I’ll be keeping mine at 100% just a learning curve I guess

Alright then, I think thats the right point to leave the game forever. It had potential but the devs are low
Bye.

But are they gonna fix it? Or is it on purpose?
Anything not in patch notes is not “On purpose”
-
I can’t bully the killer and be the power role anymore. I actually have to be afraid of the killer now.
Reeeeeeeee
Survivors in a nutshell....
Until tomorrows archive challenges are released 🤣
-
If I’m playing GF I’ll slug the last survivor, close the hatch, let them struggle free, then stalk them repeatedly until EGC is almost over then hook them for extra points 😂
-
Yup! I swapped out a perk for DS now. Over it.
-
Once I’ve loaded into the map I knock down all the walls in the saloon. Sets me up for the rest of the match.

Killers: Yay!
Survivors: Cry
Killers: 👍🏻😂👌🏻

Ugh so over hearing of NOED and the complaints.
Survivors have no issue finding TOTH, Ruin, Devour Hope, Haunted Grounds etc.... Provided the thing lights up it’s like moths to a flame....
However the same mentality doesn’t apply to dull totems it’s easier to whine about it, opposed to cleansing that dull you just past.
Hypothetically say no survivor stumbled upon a lit DH, and the killer tunnels or camps or whatever blah de blah. Do survivors blame the totem? Nope.
They’ll happily blame NOED though.....

I know on console survivors 360'ing can be a real pain because of the frame drops and low sensitivity. If the frame drops are bad enough, I can completely lose a survivor after they 360.
Up sensitivity to 100%, I used to struggle hitting 360’s. Now I have no issue.
You’ll find most survivors have it on 100% that why console players lose them, you’re trying to catch a train with a bicycle otherwise.

How'd you get so many upvotes? Has nobody heard of a mute button?
This community is super toxic, a lot of players would end up muted. Which would then end up throwing out the balance.
-
Because nobody wants to hear a 11 y.o stating how he’s fkd your mum

But what about survivors spreading out? Do they not actually do that?
Granted it won’t work 100% of the time variables always come into it, just like they do with any perk.
-
@Waffleyumboy said:
He has built in information though?? Besides, wouldn't players already be spreading out to counter Legion? Idk, just sounds redundant to me.
You can’t down a survivor in FF
Infectious Fright can give you capitalization when going for the M1
-
Yeah experienced killers will dominate now
-
Doc’s Power slows him down, you also have a sound notification when it’s charging, it also has a very small shock radius.
dodging is part of the mind game.
Holding down W on the keyboard won’t win you chases against him
-
No.
MM will be fixed, they’ve stated this. Reverting only invites bullying at lower ranks again. It’s why they implement the current rank reset.
That and to stop boosting

Then he misplayed. As simple as that, because if you don't misplay it,you DON'T get hit.
You eventually misplay though, nobody can read another player 100% of the time. Especially in such a small confined area eventually you’ll get hit.
-
I’ve been a killer main for years, it doesn’t suck. It takes practice, and the skill level is quite high.
Most of it comes down to learning when to cut a chase, run into a healthy survivor at a gym? Get the pallet broken and go back to gens.
Watch streamers it’ll help.
At the moment matchmaking doesn’t help at all

@luka2211 said:
You can sometimes lose bad killers on the hill by going around one part if you know which one i mean. You need to make sure that the killer doesn't hear your voice when you fall down, but you should rather slide down if ya get me. Won't work every time, but will give you some time pretty sure. Also on the harvester, left side when looking at it from the front, you can vault that window, fall onto that thing and if you play it properly you can't get m1ed. Obv ranged killers will get you but everyone besides them won't if you can play it properly and not get smacked. There's many more little tricks I could talk about, but the post would be too long :F
You can get hit, a cocky survivor tried that with me. Simple misdirection plays got him hooked.

Map balancing. Loops should be mind gameable, with only a couple of safe loops where you have to break the pallet.
The rest is on the killer

I was at the end of a game as survivor against death slinger and the doors got opened but the killer had a Dwight on his shoulder and I was going to try to get him , the game froze it said that I dc’d and that the killer dc’d . I know I didn’t and I have a hard time believing that the killer did and I got a ban for it. They need to fix this ASAP .
It's one of those unfortunate things, The system can't distinguish between all forms of DC as too many varibale exits. It's why they say if you DC due to an internet fluxation please make sure it's stable before playing again.
Realistically it shouldn't be an issue unless you purposley DC quite often. A once of DC is 5 minutes, grab a drink, bio, and it's pretty much over.

Wait.
I like to watch them 360 into my body and then stare at them for a second before I hit them.
So stand still and just wait?
-
@Duskk said:
cranking your sens up helps a lot. Also, DO NOT LUNGE. Just follow their 360, wait for the to finish it out, and just do a basic attack and it works quite well for me personally. But even after all this you still might miss because of how poorly optimized console is and just a basic 360 can make your frames drop.
I've actually considered uping sensitivity, any recommendations?

I'm surprised as well.
But maybe the data the devs have suggests otherwise and all of us who have a problem with the way the game is handled are wrong.
Either way, it's a business and there's no way they'll admit to any mishandlings of any kind.
What's important is how YOU feel about playing the game. I you don't enjoy it you should move on.
I'll be transitioning to a new game as well since I have no confidence in the devs to fix longstanding issues in addition to new ones like how breakable walls are being implemented and judging my the majority of comments on a video I made, we're not alone in feeling this way.
Space Coconut! I'm a fan dude! You helped me become a better Hag. Thank you :)
I understand your reasons for leaving, I had to walk away from DBD for a couple of months too. I'm back again enjoying it, and i'm sure you will be too.
Keep on coconutting ;)

Literally no reason to buy this DLC at this present moment.
Despite the feedback devs gave us a steaming pile of ****
