only his addons need to be nerfed and hugtech should be fixed. basekit blight is very fair.

uhh

Honest to God he doesn't need anything else going against him.
His power is so ######### at anything besides camping that if a Knight player uses it for anything else I gotta respect it.
not gonna respect a player who taps m2 in a tile tbh
-
knights power doesn't take any skill to use so i say it's fair game
-
he's very boring to play as and against He's actually just artist 2.0 and the playerbase will drop him just like they did to the artist
-
yes it's working as intended.

Interesting cause from my experience I would always have trouble with multiple prove thy selfs. Well for most of the time it would depend on what type of survivors I’m facing too. I also know everyone has different experiences and that’s okay.
But anyway I thought fogwise and potentially would be a problem according to some others. I was just misinformed by the information I read and also watched from videos on YouTube.
i REALLY strongly believe that prove thysevle is massively overrated, people see 15% repair speed and freak out about it and think that the requirement has no downside since it's easy to fulfill. Is it easy to fulfill? Yes, but trying to get value out of this perk all game makes you play badly and sets you up to giving the killer twice(or more) pressure when killer pushes both(or more) of you off the gen instead of just one person.

Why would it feel awful, the pickup rules are unchanged. You just wont be as 'lucky' as in the past
/thread lol
-
DH is fine it's just can frustrating to play against i do hope they just full change COH tho
-
It's to make ruthlessly tunneling people off hook less effective
-
nah the perk is perfectly fine. It's one of the only perks that make it so you don't end up facecamped as your reward for running the killer for the last gen.
-
most repair speed perks are pretty meh tbh only hyperfocus or item perks with kitted toolboxes are really good.
i am desperately begging people to stop comparing fogwise's inconsistent and conditional aura reading to the on demand 24/7 aura reading that was old OoO This perk is wildly overrated.
potential energy is utter garbage at it's ptb numbers and it only really does anything if killers actually just plays 1/4 of the map the whole match and lets you ferry max stacks across the map.
-
i really wished people who made these type of posts would screenshot the survivors perks.
-
how about reworking both of them swamp is prolly my most hated outdoor map
-
it's a meh perk that requires you to run other perks with it for it to do something. At like 90% of tiles if you stun the killer you'll be able to just hold W for the whole 20 seconds.
-
yea people with flashlights are as bad as people with selfcare sometimes.
-
they entered the game with a single goal for gameplay in mind. You ran a perk that outright removes said gameplay, they have no reason to want to stay in the game anymore.
-
They're not you're just looking for an excuse for why you lost lmao
-
The game balance and gameplay wise is MUCH better than it was before. It's just that people have been playing the game for straight years now so people are just getting bored.
-
hope the dbd gods smile upon you that day. Revealing ghosty is can be random af for both sides.
-
because it was boring and predictable. BHVR isn't going to redesign the killer due to bad ptb feedback they're just going to change numbers. Like the biggest amount of effort they ever did to change a killer from ptb to live from my memory is them adding the viktor locker animation.
The PTB is used to find bugs and to tweak numbers, that's it.
-
i also really enjoyed twins as well but most of the nerfs were needed. Viktor is INSANELY powerful in chase and the counterplay towards him is to simply not be injured. They kinda just need most of their numbers readjusted at this point, like viktor to be made less oppressive in chase but made less clunky and faster to use. Twins also forces you to mass slug people, you actually can't just walk up to pick up a survivor you down across the map with viktor you'll just lose the game doing that.
-
it's really good it's just that blight has like 5 other grossly op addons
-
bamsnoozle or eruptcringe
maybe CoH? i feel like it loses as many games as it wins due to people wasting so much time booning
-
see it's balanced just like nurse because it has a skill floor lmao
-
buckle up or predator both kinda just don't really do anything. I recently actually tried out predator just to see what it's like and i actually couldn't really tell the difference lol.
-
im at about 800 hours and my time is like 70% survivor 30% killer. I just get bored of killer really fast personally
-
nope that's why legions and freddys looks like they don't hit you half the time
-
all the of perks that survivor were given basekit are perks that actually give you a chance to play the game if the killer decides to make it their goal to not let you play the game. BT should have been basekit day 1. Also Survivors will probably not be getting basekit unbreak.
Tho please devs give me shadowborn basekit dear god im begging
-
shadowborn
-
Survivor players really dislike killers who can undermine the gameplay loop that is looping. This is why trapper, hag, nurse, and artist are some of the most hated killers in the game. They can ether minimize or outright ignore what survivors consider what is the core gameplay of dbd. From this POV playing against nurse isn't actually playing dbd.
-
i actually think that the disable when exhaustion effect is a really good idea to balance some powerful perks in the future. But i think it's gross overkill on iron will with the change to 75%
-
biggish, good main building, and has a lot pretty decent pallets that chain into each other.
-
probably top 3 more unfun killers to play against. In terms of actually power, he's pretty map dependent. On maps with a lot of half cover tiles his power makes half the map a deadzone out of the gate and on tiles that are actually playable against him, Trickster can still get a knife or two in before you can break LOS so he can and will slowly grind you while trying to run him. He's also one of the best campers in the game.
-
just gotta time it right. I wouldn't try for it unless you know the killer has got low ping tho
-
Im honestly having a hard time understanding what you're talking about? Are you complaining about being punished because you respected a pallet and a survivor correctly read you? Are you actually implying that you started to camp and tunnel someone because you kept getting on your hands and knees and prayed to a pallet while they just ran pass?
-
trickster is one of the least interactive killers in the game from the POV of the survivors so i don't really blame them.
-
it's because there's more green items than any other tier of item in the game. I kinda wished they would make it have twice the weight in the rng system
-
it should but it won't be done lmao

So, what you're saying is ... when you have the 3 on a gen rinse and repeat system going that it doesn't allow you to coast through popping gens. Oh yes, SUCH a problem. *sarcasm*
if you wanna bait post people tend to bite more on steamforums
-
yea the perk is very problematic in my opinion too. Eruption is WAAAAAAY too black and white if you're playing against a swf vs if you're playing against duos and soloq players. Eruption is ether 10% regression or making each survivor hit by it effectively removed from the game for 25 seconds(and you still get the 10% regression lmao). Eruption when it works is probably the highest amount of slowdown from a perk in the history of the game. The perk does have downsides but the worse of the two of them are almost completely non-existent vs soloq, the other one being that you have to kick gens to set it up.
you actually completely lose the right to whine about swfs if you run this perk, It is so unbelievely brutal against the already weakest thing in the game (soloq)
-
no more than any other game tbh honestly i've seen, received, and gave far worse than everything anyone has ever said to me from playing dbd
-
lery's or rpd i'll take garden of soy and cowshed any day over those god awful maps

thats what they want, protection hits, tbag etc
Yes and i don't wanna waste more of my time
-
i walk at them to force them to leave?
-
yea since this perk has been reworked it's kinda be creating problems where there were none before. They should replace the fall part of it with making it so if the killer tries to drop you you'll just auto wiggle or something
-
it's meant to make it so injuried survivors don't get thrown out the gate if you hit them. It's not meant to be a LMAO I HIT YOU WHILE UR NEAR AN EXIT GATE TIME TO POST THIS ON REDDIT AND TAG IT AS JUST LEAVE mechanic.
-
pretty much agree with everyone here slugging is only cringe when you doing it for the 4k or bleeding someone out

Hot take here: Ruin was terrible on any killer that didn't have high mobility. Even then, without undying it was worthless and with undying not that great. After CoH came out a large portion of survivor's just knew where to look every time, not to mention the one's that are just in the open. Hex's suck, pain res was way better and consistent than ruin was. Even if it got reverted I would still never run it, there's already enough rng in the game.
I definitely wouldn't call it terrible on low mobility killers since survivors will still need to get off gens to unhook and stuff. It was obviously far more powerful on faster killers, oppressively so in my opinion with tinkerer. But it was still a better perk than pain res i think, at absolute worse where it gets found without a survivor going out of their way to look for it, it's still equivalent to a pain res proc in slowdown.
-
only real gameplay effects i can think of on maps with non stupid hook rng is like
Makes a 3 gen weaker if a killer deathhooks someone in it
Removes scourge hook
tbh this is a super non issue kinda thing.
