it's annoying but it doesn't really do anything and has extremely easy and simple counterplay.

Bro, I mean I saw a lot of comments mentioning my build, i really thing that's a really chill build. There are 2 aura reading perks, pain res and jolt, because they synergize well with nurse, since u can down people quickly, and u use m1. What's wrong with it?
actually my bad i thought floods of rage was a slowdown for some reason.

Bruh. The conditions on Ruin are wayyy too steep for it to still be a Hex totem
It can be cleansed which is fine, but then it also deactivates as soon as you do your job properly one time which is why nobody runs it. It has to be one or the other, not both. People act like Ruin wasn't getting cleansed in the first 1-2 minutes of decent lobbies in its last version, mind you that this was mostly done by basic game knowledge (The incredibly predictable totem spawns that people have memorized) AND RNG that allowed Survivors to spawn right near a Hex. It was very counterable especially with the nerfed Undying combo that people used for 2 years.
It was spammed, but no more or less than DS/UB/DH was
it was spammed just like ds ub dh. Which two of those were nerfed. DS to the ground and DH reworked to be much more fair.
-
I think they should but BHVR very clearly wants the game to mostly retain the horror survival aspect of the game and they want you to have some feeling of isolation. Which adding a load of UI elements that tell you what your teammates are doing and where they are would kill that a lot.
-
lol if you let a survivor with a flashlight to get an angle, you ether picked up stupidly or got outplayed. The buffer simply makes it so the killer doesn't get off for free due to lag or minor screw up.
Also locker saves got taken away. This is a great change you should be happy to trade a minor buffer for the ability to be invincible at 2 lockers
-
Survivor counter play is extremely black and white. You ether have a connected loop when she place down crows or you don't and you get hit. This isn't exciting or rewarding gameplay from the survivors POV.
-
She's already one of the more powerful killers, She doesn't need buffs. Also i hate playing against her, if they buff her more people will play her and this is a direct decrease in my happiness while playing the game.

Why was it nerfed again in the first place?
bhvr wanted killers to be less punished for not running slowdowns so they increased base gen repair times and nerfed most regression perks. This was an amazing idea.
-
People who use The game offerings deserve the 3 slowdown nurse players.
-
The only killer i think who's speed should be changed atm is pyramid head, other than that i believe they have done good job with deciding who should be 110% and 115%
-
Always hated ruin it punished you for getting off the gen to do anything else
got a MoM build? Punished.
Wanna go for a flashsave? Punished.
Bored of holding m1 and you wanna go interact with the killer? Punished.
actually a straight anti-fun perk and killers hate using hexes so no one was having fun with it
-
He's like one of the most chase oppressive killers in the game. He's fine at 110%
-
she can be really brutal against soloq teams but i think she's fine
-
If you get infected and chased off hook you now have a fixed chase timer due to the overwhelming amount of hindered being at max infected causes. This with the ability to speed back to hook quickly makes him extremely good at tunneling. I would really like if they made it so infection doesn't progress in chase or just remove the hinder part of max infection.
-
Massively overrated. People who are comparing this perk to that 24/7 no requirement aura reading that was old OoO are simply wrong.
-
@Carth said:
The people saying fogwise is fair and balanced would probably also say old Object was fair and balanced too.
fogwide simply doesn't compare to on demand 24/7 aura reading with no trigger requirement that was OoO. This perk is decent nothing more.
-
none this game isn't that hard mechanically

Go to settings and put "controller sensitivity" at 100% (if you still haven't), helps how much you can curve with billy for some reason, even on pc.
I recommend one green engraving + recovery addon, curves without at least one engraving is pointless since the survivors can react to that speed.
Other than that its just muscle memory and getting used to the timing/looking at the bar.
MAKE SURE YOU'RE NOT AN IDIOT LIKE ME AND TURN THE KILLERS SENSITIVITY UP AND NOT THE SURVIVORS
Also just practice billy is THE most mechanic killer in the game, you will fail a lot if you're trying to curve. Just don't care about the outcome
-
they reverted the change they made to stop reverse pallet stuns because it would just make pallets outright not stun. also had the side effect of making power struggle useless
-
This would be unbelievably unfun to play against and will simply punish survivors who try to do sneaky stuff instead of just holding W to the next pallet after dropping it
-
I dislike the infection building in chase but like other than that i think wesker is one of the best and fair killers they have released in awhile
-
i would rather them just remove the selfcare part of it and massively boost the heal speed.
-
It does mean something. It's not just that accurate for individual killers which i didn't bring up. The general stats are however give a good if basic idea on the balance of the game.
-
60% killer winrate It's not 2016 dbd the game is in the best place balancewise it has ever been
-
The counterplay from the survivors POV is the same with the artist and knight. Ether you have a connected tile or you get hit. It's boring and black and white gameplay.
He's worse than the artist because he's just really slow all around in what he can do.
-
it's lag. Nothing can really be done about it
-
use deliverance ?
-
bhvr straight up said that twins at high mmr had a really high winrate and then nerfed them the next patch. Like i have actually no idea why they haven't full reworked nurse.

Really? Before the big perks update, I had my MoM ready, was on hook, unhooked and got hit by BT, I was so confident to make it to the gate because I still have MoM, but got hit by BT made MoM disable.
Yes, mom works while you are deep wounded but won't actually "stack" with other endu effects. If you have BT and MOM at the same time and you get hit you'll lose both. This isn't how it worked BEFORE they did that random change to it and reverted it.
-
iris seem to be ether expose effects (too many to list), adds random effect or functionality to the power (tattoo's middle finger, soldier's puttee), or overwhelming powerful effect sometimes with a drawback.(iri head, mother daughter ring etc)
-
You can't force people to enjoy being tunneled/mass slugged/camped lol
If you wanna play boring play boring but you're gonna have to accept that people won't like playing with you if you play in a way that is overwhelmingly accepted as unfun
-
This is non issue, you decided to waste their time by slugging them for the 4k when you had no idea where the other survivor was so they matched your energy and hid until you gave up and hooked them. Like you won already, don't prolong the match for 10 minutes just so one person won't get hatch just to feed your ego.
-
lol you're literally playing the worse killer in the game on the worse map for him in the game vs survivors who are bringing the most op items on their side in the game. If you bring weak stuff into the game you're gonna have to accept that you're gonna lose some matches that you simply have no power to stop.
This isn't a "muh genrushing problem" This situation can easily be flipped to the survivors POV if they killer brought the sweatiest build they can bring
-
nah it's a pretty huge buff to an already borderline op perk also it would make it dunk on newer players hardcore
-
Any game with any elements that effect gameplay that can be brought is pay to win. It's more of an argument on how p2w it is, which dbd isn't that p2w at all in my opinion

The common definition of an exploit includes "use of elements of a game system in a manner not intended by the game's designers, in a way that gives a substantial unfair advantage to players using it." So I suppose you could argue that it's not a "substantial unfair advantage" since it almost always backfires, so the advantage is arguably negative -- but I have a hard time imagining you could argue in good faith that CJ is "use of elements of a game system in a manner intended by the game's designers."
It's really easy to argue in good faith about CJing if you actually use a reasonably definition for exploiting. "use of elements of a game system in a manner not intended by the game's designers" is an insanely broad definition that if you were to use it as it read would make a large amount of the current gameplay would be considered exploiting. Moonwalking and looping are "exploits" under that definition. Cjtech isn't an exploit because no mechanics are broken or ignored, just like moonwalking and looping. A good example of what i believe is an exploit is hugtech or the flashlight window exploit, you are very very clearly breaking game mechanics when doing these exploits. Ether with ignoring collision or changing your vault direction with the window exploit.

@TheWheelOfCheese said:
I would say CJ borders on the edge of being an exploit as it abuses the killer's interaction button being overloaded to do too many things instead of having "pick up" and "break" be separate buttons. Claiming that it's intended that survivors can block one of the things the spacebar does to trick them into doing another thing the spacebar does seems disingenuous at best.
Having said that, it's probably the least abusive exploit I've ever seen because it almost never works (I've only fallen for it once and it was due to being distracted by IRL stuff that was going on) and it gives the killer both a free hit and a broken pallet.
I think every single action should be able to be bound to a different key, which would "fix" CJ tech in a roundabout way by actually fixing the underlying problem, which incidentally is the same problem that prevents console players from healing under a pallet, prevents survivors in deep wounds from opening the exit gates, and can cause survivors to accidentally jump into lockers adjacent to a vault they are trying to take: one button doing multiple things that are all possible at the same time.
CJ is 110% not an exploit. Exploits ether break or outright ignore game mechanics. CJing is comparable to moonwalking. It's a clever way to use the base game mechanics.
-
yea, i really wished they just spawned a hill instead of giving me hope thinking that tile would be anything else
-
Why bother to justify camping lol. If you wanna play boring play boring.
-
@Veinslay said:
Because survivors love FOV teching and 360ing which completely screw over console killers while doing nothing to PC players. When the devs got rid of 360s with the animation changes, survivors threw a hissy fit that they quickly changed it back. Devs won't repeat the same mistake and add an FOV slider for killer!
Devs didn't change the movement because of survivors whining about not being able to 360. The swivel animations made dodging killer powers like huntress demo deathslinger actually impossible.
but i agree with just adding a fov slider. I would like a 4th perk slot on killer
-
RNG tile placement is unironically more important than the actually map unless it's mostly fixed like the game or the inherit map shape like azarov's resting place.
-
I don't think buffing a mechanic that punishes survivors for playing good and rewarding killers for playing bad is a good idea.
-
Exploits should be hunted down and fixed asap, but most techs are not exploits. Stuff like cj heal techs are not exploits but hugtech windowtech oni flicking are exploits.
