I agree with this.

No, hag is fine where she is and doesn't need to be changed.

Decisvie strike should be (in my opinion) automatic instead of skill check. I don't see a reason why one should sacrifice a perk slot for an ability that may never present an opportunity to be used during a match, and in case it does, you have a good chance of failing it due to bad luck, lag spike, etc. Nothing rubs me the wrong way in this game more than failing ds not because of my own skill but because a technical hiccup.
Tell me what do you think. Do you find some meaning/balancing in having the skill check?
ah just another entitled post. It's a 5 second stun, needs a skill check.

I would-
- Increase the time for him to teleport to gens the further away they are (longer than what it takes now) and decrease his teleporting time the closer the gen is.
- Require him to hit a survivor in order to put them into the dream world.
- Add more active clocks onto the map so survivors don't have to run across the world to wake up.
That's really all I want. I don't think he needs more than this.
number 2 is a horrible idea... It would make freddy too much of an m1 killer and he wouldn't be able to do anything in order to get the first hit.

Notice in the video that tru3 didn't once pressure any of the 4 gens that were popped. That's not the games fault, it's his.

Not really tilted just saw a few posts and i was like how can we stop it? Easy... But nerfing survivors no matter how small not even gonna catch the devs attention...
maybe because survivors don't need a nerf...

Server sided hit validation has been in place for a short while now, interested in hearing people's feedback of it. Any unusual hits, video evidence would be good to show plus in game ping if possible.

If I'm being honests both of those hatchets hit. However, from what I've seen hit validiation isn't really doing anything.

Moris are fine and a 14 second channeled interaction for opening the Hatch is genuinely too long. Like, 10 seconds longer than it should be.
Hi Tat, funny seeing you here! Just a heads up this was made long before the new mori change.

Gearhead just needs to go back to what it was in the ptb (worked for good and great skill checks, lasted longer)
I like the off the record changes apart from the part that hides your scratch marks.

This is just a fun idea I had and I understand that it's not the best one.
The clown can pull out a bottle while standing close enough to a fire barrel to change the bottle he's holding into a molotov cocktail.
If he hits a survivor directly with it, it injures them.
If it lands on the ground, it just slows them down like a normal bottle.
Cancelling your bottle throw changes the molotov back into a regular bottle.
Thoughts? I understand this isn't a perfect idea. But rarely do you find a "Perfect" idea here.
I don't think clown needs anything else for chases. He needs a secondary ability that gives him more of a chance to pressure gens. My idea was to make his reload a passive reload and change his secondary ability to give him the power to select a generator much like Freddy's teleport, but instead the generator starts spewing out toxic gas and regresses at ruin speed (stacks with ruin) while survivors are not on the generator. If they are on the generator clown will be alerted. This effect lasts until clown selects another generator and there is a 40 second cooldown until he can select another generator.

Wraith is perhaps the biggest push over killer in dead by daylight. He has so many weaknesses and very little strength to make up for it.
His greatest power is remaining invisible and surprising unexpecting survivors to get an easy hit. However, one can simply deny him by flashlight and not even Lightborn perk can save you from this. Do you know any other killer who can be denied by survivor item?
Remaining hidden can often be quite hard considering many maps are wide open fields with very little obstacles to deny vision when working on gens as survivors. I often find myself unable to come from an unseen angle. If the survivor spots you, you are left to eat pallets and wasting precious time as you hold no power in chase. There are very few maps where Wraith works as he was designed.
Another problem with Wraith is that If the survivors spread wide and work on different gens, Wraith has no power to create map pressure but is left chasing one survivor at a time. Leaving a chase prematurely to go create gen pressure often leaves Wraith in a risky situation where survivors can easily finish a gen despite Wraith's near presence, he is not a threatening killer to fear, unlike Myers, Leather face, Legion, Hillbilly, Huntress, oh you get the idea. Even I don't shy away from working on a gen when facing Wraith. His bell basically gives auditory warning when I should let go of the gen and run to the nearest safe space like window loop or pallet. Sure, there is the add-ons to help on this, but you can't always bring those with you and not having them hinders your strength tremendously unlike when compared to many other killers who manage just fine without add-ons.
Wraith also does not have any power in end-game collapse when trying to defend a hook. Unless he has noed active, the survivors can just walk over him without any fear because he is basically just M1 killer and cloaking does absolutely nothing for him at that point.
I am not saying that you can not win games with Wraith, obviously one can master him just fine and do decently in matches against a good survivor team, but when put next to other killers in the game, he is tremendously weaker in every aspect in my opinion. Even in stealth, Pig, level 1 Myers, and Ghost face all surpass him in the element of surprise. Wraith needs to uncloak before he can hit, the others can insta-hit or surprise-grab from gen when in stealth (all except pig but he does not need to use his ability but rather just stand up from crawl).
When you really think about it, every other stealth killer in the game manages much better than Wraith in every aspect of being a killer.
Now feel free to disagree and throw your opinion on the table. I know I am coming out strong with this one, but for someone who has over 2,000 hours on DBD and knows every ins and outs of every killer, their strength and weaknesses, I find it hard to find many positives on Wraith which would make him a dangerous killer compared to rest.
I feel like something is missing, something he could use in chase perhaps to make him a more interesting killer.
Wraith needs purple windstorm and bone clapper base kit. The they should buff his base uncloak time a little. They should also change the windstorm add ons to make the speed he gets after uncloaking longer.

I just wish Billy were a little more viable vs good teams.

Key are worst than mori. Countering a mori its easy you use your ressource and you sneak the gen.
Key on the other hand are worst you cant win against a rng key. And if they bring a map offering plus hatch offering be sure you just lost the game on the spot
Correction: keys are worse than ivory moris, but ebony moris are so much stronger than keys.

how when he slows me down with his shock wave and doesn’t let me throw down the pallet? You’re a clown lmfao. I know how to loop and could probably do it 10x better than you. Doctor is definitely an op killer.
REALLY?????????? YOU KNOW HOW TO LOOP 10X BETTER THEN ME BUD YOU MUST BE INSANE. Come 1v1 and let's see, my dbd friend code is Squill#9168 add me and come cowshed lets see who's better. You can play whatever killer you want even doctor. And then I'll play killer vs you let's see who gets the better chase time if you can loop 10x better than me.

Maybe learn how to loop the doctor and play against him better instead of complaining. Doctor is definitely not an op killer.

learn how to pressure gens maybe

I agree. I loved the Coal Tower map changes, and now they are ruined by breakable walls, just get rid of em'

And that's good because the devs will see the statistics and buff Billy.

I'm a Billy main,
*waves to everyone around the campfire*
It's becoming more and more frustrating to play Billy, especially on MacMillan Estate maps. One of the issue's I'm having are bumping into things that stick out or don't exist, or shouldn't exist. Here are some examples that I run into constantly.
- The dreaded branches of doom - They stick out, but even if you're not even hugging or curving around a tree you're more than likely to randomly hit one. This happens especially on MacMillan maps with the new updated models and graphics.
- Invisible objects around tiles of junk or debris - Just one of those things were you're trying to curve, or just trying to loop, back-rev, and finally get your chance to chainsaw a survivor and all of a sudden you stop immediately. Not close to a wall, not in the direction of any object. You just plainly hit "something".
- A new one that I've run into was when a survivor prematurely threw a pallet down, but she ended up on my side. I had already back-revved my chainsaw to dismantle the pallet, but to my surprise I was in luck of a free hook. As she began to try and vault over the pallet my chainsaw just bumps. Completely chainsawing the middle where she was standing, in-front of the pallet, there's nothing that could of caused it. It was almost like she wore a suit of armor.
It's already frustrating enough that curving just isn't really a thing anymore unless you try as hard as I do to keep it alive, but at least give Billy the ability to just...be Billy? I know MMR isn't a thing, or at least as far as I know, but I do know when I play my main that I almost always get a MacMillan map with a red-rank SWF. Mostly Suffocation Pit, and I do it with a smile. And then I get tea-bagged for hitting that branch.
Sadly the devs don't seem to care about how weak billy is right now. You can make your voice be heard simply by not playing Billy which will decrease his pick rate. In the mean time, I would suggest giving Blight a try, he is similar to Billy mechanically, a lot stronger, and insanely fun to play.

Well, you normally don't play oni at tournament level anyway
And the reason for that is the fact that Oni is not viable. All killers should be tournament viable.
-
@OniWantsYourMacaroni said:
Oni doesn't need any buffs at all. He's in a great spot right now.
And survivors will always make a mistake and allow you to get that first hit (maybe if they are tournament level, but how often do you face those players anyway?)
I play in tournaments; so, quite often actually.
-
@Slashstreetboy said:
Unless you encounter Survivors that are tremendously more experienced than you and given you´re a competent Oni, you will do just fine. His weak start is what keeps him in check balance-wise, since in his power he´s one of the strongest Killers.
Buddy, I'm on a comp Dead by Daylight team; so, I know what Oni looks like in tournament play. There is simply nothing you can do as Oni . Read the math I did and you will realize why.
-
@Mandy said:
I really don't think Oni needs this buff, he already seems to be very strong as he is and can snowball hugely in a match.
Yes, being able to snowball is what makes Oni strong. However, the problem is that Oni can't do anything vs good teams because he is an m1 killer for the extended amount of time of 500 seconds that I talked about a lot in the post.

Ok, by that logic then should survivors not have items? They benefit them before their objective is complete. Do you realize how stupid that sounds?
Killers have add-ons, however regarding survivor items, keys should not exist.

I don't think having offerings that change the game is bad at all, it creates new and interesting outcomes, its just that moris are a little abusable and should be adjusted accordingly same with keys.
Then I will still just alt f4 whenever I see a mori omegalul.
-
@Iron said:
I like it except for the fact that it would simply just outclass devour hope if it were worked this way. I like the measure of restriction by forcing a hook event on the survivor before a mori can be performed, but I do appreciate the creativity.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1690365#Comment_1690365
Cypress mori is nearly useless if you were going to 4k anyway.
Ivory moris are able to be used strategically which is something most people don't understand if they just mori the first person they see (if they are weak the team won't miss them as much as if they are strong).
Ebonies in their current state are the only overkill that causes issues, deleting them and ivories because you have a personal problem with them is not an actual valid solution.
You do realize that is the whole point of what I'm trying to say. A mori should not be something that benefits the killer it should be a reward for 4king. Ivory and Ebony moris need to be removed from the game.
-

I like the idea of core kit cypress mori, but I don't think getting rid of moris all together would be a great idea they just need a touch up is all.
Well the thing is having an offering that completely changes the game as it's supposed to be is not in any way healthy for the game. Same with keys being a complete free escape, very unhealthy for the game.
-
Hag is pretty is to pub stomp with if you know what you're doing.
-
No. The simple change is to just delete mori offerings and make the cypress mori core game so the killer has an opportunity to mori in every match if they 4k.
-
Ruin Undying is fine because it rewards the killer for playing well.
-
YOU SOUND VERY GREEDY FOR THEM BLOODPOINTS BUDDY

This will probably be fixed next chapter when they do the autohaven maps

Or you know just learn how to play killer better and pressure generators.

yes

DEVS PLEASE ADD THIS
-
Ghost Face is an m1 killer, Clown is stronger than ghost face. Oni's also complete dogshit because he has nothing before hitting a survivor, nothing to help him get his power.
-
Just to add on to the key one, the person who brings a key into the trial should be moriable.
