FOTD should get buffed if anything. His Mage Hand is the one that needs nerfing.

Bubba is still a pretty weak killer, its only a noob stomper
What restriction does xeno or dredge has when it comes to camping hook on EGC ? I'm curious
Unhooking results in trade only if you don't know how to do it. If 2 or 3 people comes in for the save, there is not really much you can do to prevent them from all getting out if they know what they are doing. If you always end up trading, you should watch some videos to see how it is done.
Bubba, like billy, like plague, like vecna, like myers, like trickster is a killer that makes unhooking pretty hard. That's one of their strength, why would you nerf that
He is not weak, his buffs made his tantrums last extremely short durations, and his sweeps got his Chili add-ons basekit. His collision was also buffed in his favor, he is not weak like he was before, I've played him quite a bit and he feels very nice to play in general now.
Artist can't place crows near hooked survivors, if Xenomorph exits a tunnel near a hooked survivor the speed of which he exits is very slow, and Dredge can't teleport to lockers near hooked survivors.
I hit the survivors who are coming for the save early, then if the other survivors are still trying to unhook, I'll target one of them and get them hooked. That's normally how I'm doing it as killer, I main Spirit/Chucky.
I'm not saying obliterate his ability to camp, I'm simply saying add some middle ground in which the survivors can have a chance of trading rather then two or more survivors going down from the chainsaw. For an example the unhooker gets the save, Bubba downs both of them, now he got two kills.

I’m rank not sure why the most obnoxious campers in the game got such insane buffs with no one complaining about it. I think they did it to stop Bubbas from tunneling and camping but it has only made them much better at it.
Haven’t ran into a single bubba who hasn’t tunneled or camped ever since his update. The tantrum being reduced to a weapon wipe is insane on a hyper mobile insta down killer, even more so with his insane and unneeded colission reduction.
I personally don't mind his changes, but I wish they added some camping penalties to his chainsaw, his ability to camp in his current state problematic while being a good chase killer, as well.

Thats the way it is, some killer have strong defensive abilities, some dont. Ofc its easier to unhook in the face of freddy than bubba
Just deal with it and move on. Unhooking during EGC shouldnt be an easy mecanic. Its already free when you swarm a m1 killer, don't complain about the one you can't.
I don't mind killers having strong defense, but when most of the time it's a death sentence, then it's an issue to me.
You say deal with it, I'm allowed to speak on what me, and many other people believe. His current state of being able to face camp is ridiculous, he already got multiple buffs prior which makes him a solid killer overall in chase, why does he still need to be an absolute monster when it comes to camping?
Unhooking shouldn't be easy, yes I do agree with you on that, but to the point that saving is no longer even an option, I then believe that there needs to be a change. Let's compare killers like Artist, Dredge, or Xenomorph, killers that have restrictions near hooks, while Bubba doesn't. I'm not saying completely disable his chainsaw, but add some penalties to it if he stays near the hook.
Swarming a hook will result in trades anyways.

And what is he expected to do ? Hook you then go on the gates to watch people leave while someone unhooks you and you exit through the other gate ?
Gens are done, there are no objective left to defend for the killer exept securing kills. That's a totally normal and expected behaviour.
I totally understand that, but my point is that the survivors should have a fair chance of getting a trade, but it's rather difficult because Bubba can quickly down both survivors, I feel that it shouldn't be a guaranteed death once Bubba camps someone during endgame.

I'm all for reducing the power of Bubbas facecamp. But the devs tried that and players just found a way to circumvent it. So I honestly don't know how it could be fixed.
I do not envy the devs that will work on the change 2 years from now lol
There are many things at the moment that the devs should focus on rather then Bubba, even if it's a future change, I hope they do something. He's been out for years now, I think it's silly that he can still do this.

why I'm I guaranteed to die all because he can stand still and insta-down anyone for free who decides to save
Why do you want a guaranteed escape?
That's not even my reasoning for making this post. I never stated that I wanted a guaranteed escape, I only want it to be more fair when it comes down to Bubba's camping abilities, because he can chainsaw anyone who comes for the save, making it impossible for anyone to get away at points, the survivors should have some form of chance, even if it involves trading, not both of us getting insta-downed because he decided to camp.

You say no, but provide zero reasoning on why you think that way.

I thought face camping Bubbas were extinct lol wonder if he's a returning player for the event and doesn't know about anti camp lol
This was during endgame when the camp meter was gone. I see Bubbas a lot they tend to camp when the final gen is done.
-
I think it will be Richter as the survivor.
-
I accidentally pressed submit without adding anything haha! I just updated it.
-
That extra second can stay in my opinion.
-
-
This is the second post I came across from you that's quite pointless.
Firstly, you claim that you want survivors who body block, and hide to be banned. Then your complaining about people who meme around, seriously, just move on instead of posting every experience you didn't enjoy on the forums.

The last member hid the remainder of the game. That falls under unsporting behavior due to not participating in normal gameplay. They hurt the solo queue player because they threw a tantrum.
You avoided the solo player just to find him, what did you expect him to do, hand himself over to you? I'm feeling your post screams "tantrum" more than anything those survivors did.
If your so upset over him "stalling" then you could've just killed the solo queue player and forced endgame, but no, you had to do extra because apparently you got tormented and bullied.
-
You literally killed two of them. Just move on to your next match, don't post stuff on the forums that you can easily move on from, what they did wasn't "tormenting" you, they simply body blocked you. Also, what they did isn't punishable, you logic is basically "Anyone who dares to body block me must be banned".
I'm so confused why people decide it's worth it to post non-important stuff on the forums..
-
It actually had a timer showcase during the Clown PTB, I saw it in a video, they should bring that back.

The issue I have with this kind of outlook on Skull Merchant is that, objectively, her power got way more interactive with her rework.
There's a lot of interaction, between dodging the drone beams + learning the intricacies of how they work while you're in chase and hacking drones to keep them out of commission for later, not to mention the tension that comes with unpredictable stealth that the killer might actually bother to use because it isn't awful like the previous version was.
Dodging beams really is the main part, though. There's mechanical back-and-forth to add another layer to the chase, there, with clear and defined rules that you and the killer are both trying to leverage. I can absolutely buy not liking versing her, everyone's entitled to their own dislikes there (and I even have a few myself that I know others find fun), but this idea that her power isn't interactive is just… not true.
Also as an aside, she doesn't get free injuries. If an outcome relies on survivors making massive mistakes, and therefore can't be relied on, it's not free.
Your not wrong, but she can be way too interactive to the point it becomes unbearable if that makes sense, you gotta dodge her beams so you don't become injured or slowed during chase, crouching back and fourth can result in a M1 instead, which is a lose-lose situation to me. You got to keep an eye out due to her undetectable which is fine for me, but her haste can be annoying depending on the situation.
I play solo queue a lot, my teammates tend to not know how to counter her which makes the match even worse, even when I do everything correctly, they tend to drop like flies, it's not any form of disrespect to them, but if they refuse to learn how to play against her, it's a lot worse then it should be, even if you know her counters it can be quite tricky if the Skull Merchant knows what she's doing.
But your comment is well made, and I do agree on some things.

What add on are you talking about? The only one I can think of being remotely close to over powered is the Waiting For You Watch since you can potentially down the whole team.
I think she is talking about this add-on:
-
That's another issue I have with that map. With the hilarious/useless pallets, and then the heavily survivor sided main building. I don't think the devs play test the map at all.
-
@BurnedTerrormisu said:
@Peanits is using this bannable?
It should be, it's an bug and people are using it to their advantage. He needs to be killswitched immediately so people can't use it for the time being until he's fixed.
-
Non-meta perk users will rise!
-
I didn't receive mine either, they should stop with the email rewards and just give it to everyone with a code, I really don't see the problem with it.
-
@KatsuhxP said:
Considering it's a godloop otherwise for most m1 killer it should be fine xD
Your not wrong about it being basically a godloop, but if they ever decide to nerf it, they should adjust portals as well.
-
A pallet you can freely walk through? Should be nerfed, way too overpowered..
10/10 balancing.

Its related when killers can grab survivors from portals at full health?!?!? Also not to mention tht survivor can loop the killer infinitely thanks to vault placement rng or avoid zzzzoombies and buggy ai knight guards.
You stated that they should be removed entirely without any reasonable explanation when my discussion is on why portal grabs are even a thing. So no, it's not related, and in fact the comment you made is quite unnecessary I'm trying to have some actual serious discussions with people, but I do agree that the inside interior is quite strong, and it needs to be reworked.
@Zaydin said:
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3735405#Comment_3735405
Because survivors can use them to create legitimate infinite loops and it highly screws over M1 Killers.
The inside interior needs to be reworked, I do agree with it being quite ridiculous, especially for M1 killers.

@OrangeBear said:
I didn't even know this was a thing. Being grabbed from full health from a portal i agree that shouldn't be the case. It would be more in line if this could only happen whilst injured. But im unsure if that should be a thing at all.
I personally hope they are looking into the placement of portals though because there seems to be an infinite loop regarding the portal behind the tower. It's making me avoid the map, i've never really had this much trouble with a map before.I agree with everything you stated 100%.
-
@AntiSWF said:
The portals are unbalanced why havent they removed it yet?
How about you tell us why they should be removed, this is not related to my discussion so please do so.
-
I feel that Mage hand is his downfall when it comes to him being "fun" to verse I guess, but otherwise I find him quite unique, and interactive to face with the magical items you can get from chests, crouching from his power is pretty intense but fun at points, and just visually he is amazing. One of my favorite killers to verse, though Mage hand needs to be toned down.
-
@Neaxolotl said:
Huh, majority of killers are having issue with even injuring them, pretty much impossible to hit during animation
I never really had an issue with injuring/downing survivors if their entering right in front of me, but I never knew until recently that you can get grabbed, I guess that was pure bad luck for me, I was grabbed when my survivor model was entirely in, and my screen turned black meaning I successfully used the portal, so I'm just really confused at this point.
-
It’s not bad, but theres better perks like Blood Echo or Mindbreaker. It can be countered by Calm Spirit as well.
It’s Vecna’s best perk, though very niche.
-
One of the most boring killers to verse, being slowed down is not fun and having to pre-drop pallets is not engaging in the slightest since it’s a guaranteed hit otherwise if you don’t.
I do appreciate the devs removing the blurred vision from his bottles since it caused me motion sickness, but he is still one of my least favorites to verse.
-
Yes please.
-
Calm Spirit is a stable in my build at the moment for this exact reason.
-
It was overnerfed, I think personally it can stay at 75% but simply remove the exhaustion part of it.
-
I just drop my item before I get hit, sure Weave Attunement will still activate on me, but Franklins is none existent if you just drop it and grab it later.
-
I agree, I had a lot of fun with it, and it felt a lot more casual since we all get to run perks were not used to, and not having to go up against the same boring meta for both sides is a lot more enjoyable, I really want Chaos Shuffle back.
-
No.
-
Not only that, but you are unable to vault windows or pallets at all, that ended up getting me killed a lot, your trapped in that state until you go down from my experience.
They do need to killswitch it.
-
I feel like they should lay off with the new chapters and focus on health and QOL updates.
I’d love them to spend a while on fixing bugs, nerfing or buffing perks that need them, and improving/balancing some killers.
We have enough killers/survivors at the moment.
-
@OneGoodBoyDemo said:
I completely disagree.
People have been using this perk in my killer games and it has made things a lot easier for me...
They probably have been using it in the worst time possible, I feel that instead of using it during the start, you should use it in mid-late game, killers normally focus on chase first at the start, so this is the chance where we crank out on generators first, then the killer realizes that he/she should focus on pressuring for the most part. When the killer focuses on generators, this is the time survivors can heal or do the invocation.
People can use it the way they want, but that's how I normally use it, in case we can a backup plan to help finish the last generators and escape, rather then instantly use it, plus the 60 seconds are now very viable.
-
I'm very upset that it's gone. I hope that it returns in the near future.

Deja vu+Resilience+Weaving spiders. survivor getting more perk variety. a valid gen-rush build that is practical to use in every game.
You just named my exact build haha, those 3 plus Iron Will are very solid together.

@Slaughterhouse3 said:
I like it! Gives more people a reason to use the basement also.
Very true. Forgot to mention the other reason why it's good now is because if you think about it, 60 seconds is only 30 seconds off from 90 seconds which is how long it takes to complete a generator, those 60 seconds will be useful since your adding a brand new part to all generators, and off course it's not a waste time perk anymore.

I feel bad for Meg the most. She was taking care of her sick mother, and dropped college just to care for her which was really sweet.
Her being taken is a tragedy because not only will she not see her mother again, but she would’ve died without Meg’s care, never being able to see a loved one again honestly just the thought breaks my heart.
-
He’s strong right now. No need to buff him.
-
All of friends at the moment are busy with college, but I’m on summer break, just finished up my second year for college, and I have lots of time to play. But sadly I’m stuck with solo queue.
If anyone wants to play let me know, I’m always down if I’m available.

Knockout 4 minute bleeding vs Sabo squad meta.
If that goes live the game will be legit insufferable, i will not even bother trying the update and deinstall if i see it didn't change.
According to the patch notes no changes were apparently made, I personally might play survivor for a while now though. But if I do killer for rituals/challenges I will run Starstruck.
-
I guarantee that people are going run sabo builds for a while. Kind of like when Breakout got released years back everyone ran it trying to get value from it.
I’m just running Starstruck until the sabo squad era ends! 🤷♀️ -
