Stop being dramatic. My goodness. Gen speeds are broken, play some killer for a change.
Your hilarious.
-
I just drop my item at the start of the match and if the killer has it I'll put my item in the corner and use it later at the right moment, if I see other items on the ground I just put them in a corner as well.
-
Perk updates, killer reworks, and Swamp map rework are the ones I'm hoping for the most.

I've just versed a survivor who had some distinct advantage over his teammates as I had a lot of trouble finding him. Basically all the teammates had been hooked twice when I finally found him.
Iron Will + Lightweight + Premonition were the key perks. The fourth was Weaving Spiders.
No visible trackmarks, almost silent when hurt (75% is really pretty good), and could evade me for quite a while.
Replacing Weaving Spiders by something else may make it even stronger.
What do you think?
Keep Iron Will and Lightweight, but replace Premonition with Lightfooted, and also put on Low Profile.
You basically leave zero trace, and if you are in a situation where the killer decides to slug for the 4k, 90 seconds of no scratch marks from Low Profile can really save matches at points, it's a situational but fun build to run that I really enjoy.

7 hatchets feels like it gives too many chances and then she can just hold the wind up to zone you as well. The buffs seem unnecessary. She was already pretty good before the buffs.
Agreed, versing her ever since was quite annoying considering how many hatchets she has basekit.

@Blueberry said:
No, she’s fine.
Please explain why you think she's fine, and why the buffs were given to her when she was fine before, just want your opinion! :)

I still don't understand why she did get a buff before ghost face, legion or freddy
Nobody asked for them in the first place as well.

@HexHuntressThighs said:
No they don’t need to be reverted she has literally the most counter play in the entire game besides singularity because his EMPs are so abundant he almost doesn’t have a power.
And why are we still clueless why she got buffed? She was the third lowest in kill rates at all MMRs and the 5th lowest at top 5%. And before anyone brings up that stupid nurse has a low kill rate argument, Nurse does NOT have a low kill rate at top 5% MMR like Huntress does.
The buffs she received were mainly to help on indoor maps which gut her power almost entirely and also to help with cluttered maps as well. Locker spawns need to be fixed as well but 7 hatchets is fine. She is one of two killers in the game that has to actively drop chase to go get ammo.
You should NOT be able to dodge all her hatchets. Just like you CANT dodge all of Tricksters knives.
Her Hitboxes are fine, they changed them to be smaller before and her kill rate dropped to the lowest in the game. So unless she receives insane buffs in other departments her Hitboxes should remain the same. 99% of the issue is survivors not knowing how their own Hitbox functions and how it doesn’t follow their model at all and if it did it would kill looping overnight.
She should’ve kept the movement speed buff honestly. It Would’ve made her a little bit higher in A Tier but I would rather play against more Huntress than Blights/ Nurses
7 hatchets is quite a lot, and doesn't feel rewarding if you do manage to dodge it. Plus, the player will simply hold the hatchet forever until she manages to hit you at the right moment, doesn't seem fun or have much counterplay to me. Her hitboxes are somewhat fine only if the ping is good but I still even get hit in odd places, but if it's not good then its a nightmare for the survivors.
Tricksters blades take 8 to injure, hatchets take only one out of seven, there is a major difference, Huntress is a bigger threat, and the survivors should have a chance of dodging them.
Those buffs were band-aid fixes, and also indoor maps like Midwich can be good for Huntress with the hallways and stuff, locker spawn changes were all what she really needed.
-
@Toystory3Monkey said:
They should either revert the buffs she got or nerf her m2 holding playstyle. It's too efficient and boring.
Good point. When the Huntress simply holds a hatchet for 10,000 years it feels extremely boring.
-
@bazarama said:
Sure why not?
Recently nerfd Knight, Chucky and Wesker so might as well nerf Huntress too.
Any others you want an easier game against?
If you have nothing to add to the discussion besides pointless comments than go to another one.

I get mostly escape cakes, but rarely party streamers, I'm currently p100ing Ada and she is at p16 right now, and I haven't used any party streamers yet on her, currently I have 26 of them. I think they should increase the chances of getting them.
-
Skull Merchant, Pyramid Head, and Trickster.
-
Because it's still quite good if used correctly, especially paired with an Endurance perk like Dead Hard or Off The Record. I think people underestimate it ever since the nerf, 3% is still a good buff for any player, and picture it with Hope. Your now 10% faster, which makes you uncatchable most of the time.
If they run it without Dead Hard or Off The Record, I'm guessing that they are running it with something like WGLF to give them and the healed survivor Endurance, and in return gives them the 3% haste.

Male: Jonah
Female: Yun Jin

Dredge or Singularity are my favorites, least ones are Skull Merchant and Trickster.
-
That happened to me once when all the generators were done. I was opening the gate and we were all about to escape until it did that, got zero points, I was rightfully upset.
They need to seriously do something about that.
-
Skill checks being coded like Overcharge so when if you get a skillcheck, it won't explode the second you get off the generator, you still will have to complete it instead even when off of it. So no more exploding generators the moment I get off of one.

Feng Min also has the same problem i think it happened with the UE5 update
As small as this bug is, it bothers me because I love Renato's prestige, I had zero clue other survivors had the same issue, I'd love if they can fix it!

Here's some bonus photos of how his prestige is supposed to be:

Personally I'd just buff its current effects to be better, and add one or two more.
While injured, Pharmacy activates:
- Chest opening speed increases by +100%
- Chest opening is silent
- Opening a chest guarantees a yellow-rarity medkit
- Self-healing medkit speed increases by +33%
- Self-healing medkit efficiency increases by +33%
- Highlights auras of all medkits on the map
I like this a lot.
-
Rolling a 20 should play the DBD theme!
-
Just put items in the corner of the map..

Bug fixes are welcomed by me, but he does not need any buffs.

Thalita: 2873
Renato: 3092
Spirit: 345 (Didn't really play her)

This is quite scary, considering most of us are casual players, the ones who got banned were well-known and still had some trouble getting their accounts back, but it when it comes down to us, we might not have that opportunity to get it back.
BHVR needs to make a new system for cheaters, and more strict bans that counter spoofs. These people are targeting small streamers which is straight up wrong. I lowkey wish hacking/cheating is illegal at this point.

He was only fun because he was easy to bully. Now that he is good suddenly everyone hates him. What a surprise.
Not in a way that every Billy was bulliable before he got buffed, I really enjoyed versing a good Billy prior to the buffs he earned, it felt like he actually deserved the down if he got me, but now with overdrive it feels cheap and unfair at points if that makes sense.
I don't hate him, but when my solo queue teammates continue to rage quit it ruins the experience.

I'm not a Tomb Raider fan, I never played the games old nor new. What I've seen of them, they never had much of a horror vibe to me, not enough to make her inclusion in DbD feel like a natural fit. I don't feel a strong attachment to Lara Croft as a character. The perks seem okay, at least, so she has that. Maybe if she goes on sale at a later date, I would pick her up for those.
That’s fair! Although I do recommend trying out the Tomb Raider games and get a general feel on how it is, maybe that will boost your opinion on Lara! :)
-
I’ve grew up basically with the 2013 Tomb Raider game, Lara is going to be my next p100, I do agree that the lack of marketing for her is disappointing, but none the less I’m very proud of this paragraph chapter because it’s fricking Lara herself.
I see Lara content, my money goes bye bye. 🙏🏻

I don't think I'm going to buy her.
May I ask why? I’m interested in all of your opinions.
-
I’m not very good at looping so I go for a more stealth but productive build.
My main builds consists of Deja Vu, Distortion, Iron Will, and Lightweight
I tend to run toolboxes with charge add-ons. My goal is to stay hidden most of the match, but still do most of the generators, and saves.
-
Instead of Windows I personally would use a healing perk, if you want to bring a medkit then windows or Dance With Me will work.

That's my boy. If the heal isn't worth it, then don't. That's what more people need to realize.
Another problem is that I’m trying to do generators and my teammates refuse to help until I heal them when it’s a Hillbilly, at that point were wasting time, it gets really annoying.

Weird my entire post just deleted. Pretty sure it was on my end.
Not gonna rewrite the entire thing but I will say good on you for admitting you're not a good looper. Most won't admit that and that says a lot. For whatever reason most feel belittled by intelligence instead of feeling inspired by it.
Best tips I can give you:
1) Break sightlines
2) Put things in between you and him like facing a nurse so it's hard for him to see you so he has to 50/50
3) Billy has more control of his saw at the beginning of it and less at the end so create distance if you can
4) Indoor maps you should be able to apply both of these and he will struggle the most
Another thing you could do which would help you massively. Go into a bot game as billy and feel how long it takes to rev and if you get even a surface level feeling of it. It will help a ton.Thank you, I will be using these tips to help. I practice in 1v1s with my looping and it's been getting better, I'm looking forward to improving more. 😀

As a billy main myself who only M2's regardless of outcome, what do you feel your common issues are with him? Engravings don't make him hard to deal with. It's actually harder to master Billy running engravings and it's encouraged for the average player not to use them unless you've really put in time on him. The more casual players will struggle running engravings while predicting flicks and feathering in the windows while trying to get the turn rate right. I will say the difference between playing against a mid level Billy player vs a master is….a very noticeable change.
To shine light on it I mean Billy has struggled for a long time so it's actually good that he's getting a hefty influx in play time. I've been playing him for years and even with the changes it still lands him in the middle of the pack of the 6-7 killers at the top for kill rates. I think one thing people get triggered by and I'll admit it myself. Is getting hit by ridiculous flicks and that is what results in people giving up. I remember going up against some blight players that knew how to moon rush or do crazy techs and I'm just like….wow. It almost feels hopeless and I totally get it.
There is one thing you can do against Billy that most people don't use and that is crouching when he's sawing. It actually affects his hitbox on a massive level and sometimes crouching to the left or right of his saw path makes him miss A TON.
I will agree overdrive makes his cross map presence on large maps with lanes borderline ridiculous but that is hard countered on the other end with maps iike Leary's where you're almost forced to M1.
For sake of conversation what add-ons are you noticing the most that you're losing to? Is it high prestige Billy's running engravings? Are they only hitting M2's? Are they doing a mix?Sometimes engravings as his speed can be quite difficult to deal with, his turn-rate I feel can be very deadly if the Billy knows what their doing in chase, I feel like with an type of turn-rate add-on will make things harder as they can turn around loops very easily.
I'm not a very good looper I'm going to be very honest with you, so this may be a skill issue on my end, but I feel that he's a lot more fair when not in overdrive and easier to avoid get instadowned with, overdrive as a whole shouldn't exist in my opinion, I welcome criticism and advice since you do main him, some tips will be appreciated, I must ask though, what's your advice on avoiding getting instadowned in general when looping since he can flick with a turn around a loop very easily, along with the speed of overdrive I find it difficult to counter in my experience!

I heavily dislike Hillbilly and I always have. Never joined the Hillbilly mafia that say he's "so fun to play against". He's 2nd only to Spirit to me for "annoying to face" killers.
That said, I never gave up against him or any killer for that matter. Other players are another story, they give up against him all the time in my experience. But that's what happens when players (survivors mostly) encourage and excuse giving up at the slightest inconvenience instead of pushing people not to do it.
I'm very mixed with Billy mainly because I feel like I'm having more fun in chase when he's not in overdrive, I feel like I have a chance, but when overdrive kicks in, it's instant death because I have no time to react because he's so fast.
His ability to have overdrive so much is honestly what makes him sometimes annoying to verse.
-
Don't forget Lightfooted is a common fear for people who play her, including myself. 😓
-
He shouldn't have overdrive so easily, I feel like increasing the time it takes to get overdrive active but also buffing it's duration would be fair, also they should nerf his turn-rate and speed down a bit.

How do you define exploit?
Something that was never intended, Hug Tech was never intended, even Mandy stated that.
No techs should exist, no hug tech, no crouch touch, etc. All of them are exploits, "techs" shouldn't exist.
-
No exploit should become an actual feature, hug-tech was miserable to verse if the Blight was good with it, it's better off gone for the sake of things, Blight is already a strong killer if used well, hug-tech made average Blight players a pro just by sliding off the walls, it should've never existed in the first place.
Actually learn how to play him this time, instead of wanting that busted exploit back, it can stay gone.

Only thing I'm not a fan of is the lingering effect. Makes it too easy to farm team mates. Considering I just got farmed off hook repeatedly by a Claire, I'm a bit bitter about it 🤣
I hate farming teammates as well, but with Low Profile I would always be careful because the moment I get caught I know my dumb self will get downed somehow haha.

Please describe what is happening in this scenario.
It works best according to him against tunnelers, lets say the killer leaves whatever he is doing and decides to come back to the hook, with the 70% heal progress you can heal before he even gets to both of the survivors, making his goal much harder, or let's say he does manage to tunnel before the heal gets pulled off, if the survivor has a medkit or some type of healing perk, they can heal up mid-chase if they can, making this perk quite strong against tunnelers.
It is still good if the killer decides not to tunnel as well.
-
It gets heavily countered by Nurses Calling, but besides that it's not a bad perk, can be very strong if used in certain scenarios, especially to escape mid-chase.
Hide in a corner, or a bush, and heal with this perk, the killer can't hear you and loses you.
-
I hope so.
-
@sizzlingmario4 said:
It’s a nice change. Just bring a medkit with it and you can finish the heal in about 7 seconds.
7 seconds alone is going to be quite strong, especially against tunneling killers if you can get to a safe area and heal mid-chase.
-
I don't mind it personally but I believe that the better route for the perk was to keep it at 75%, but remove the exhaustion part to it.
-
@AmpersandUnderscore said:
It's still hard countered by hemorrhage, which has always been the issue with this and reactive healing. Until that aspect is fixed, neither one is likely to see much play.
I completely forgot about that, I personally never see Sloppy Butcher to be honest though ever since it got changed, I still will probably run it when it gets buffed.
-
Everyone saying that it's the survivors fault for going into the locker and not giving themselves up to the killer is crazy, when the killer can simply open the locker and kill them, instead they avoid doing so.
Two wrongs don't make a right, it's not entirely one sides fault, if your both going out of the way to do that, then you both are the issue.
-
Skull Merchant would be immediately removed from my matches, and since everyone would pick her as well, Skull Merchant players would have the longest queue times, which is hilarious to think about.
