I think it's on Monday? That's what I kept hearing at least.
If true then that’s a lot sooner then I thought, thanks!
-
I know that we have until June 3rd, but I do agree that I will miss it, probably the most fun I've had in a long time in DBD, all because of this modifier.
I hope it stays forever, or they bring it back again..

I really did thank you
"Showing them" would mean by being more mature by calling out their actions in the chat, and telling them that their insults were wrong. But instead you went as low as them by coming to the forums, where here we talk about topics that are more serious then this, and posted it, Like I said before, move on, don't waste your time blasting them on here, this doesn't make you look good.
-
What is the point of this, not only that, but your revealing their username, there is no need to posting this on here, just move on? Not only that, but the person seemed new looking at their perk rarity and prestige. Perhaps something happened for them to tunnel and camp.
Posting this serves no purpose, don't humiliate them.

Why do you believe those changes are required for Skull merchant?
Because her kit has way too much, instant injures, free hindered , haste, tracking, stealth. She has way too much. I think she needs some form of change, her currently design is unhealthy, and extremely boring to verse.
-
I got Boon Shadow Step quite often, I never really used it prior, but might now use it in stealth builds more often, with Light Footed and Iron Will.
Sure, the killer may snuff the boon, but since you leave no scratch marks, and have no aura reading, the killer snuffing it may give you some time to escape, and they will have zero clue where you went. Such a fun perk, saved me multiple times even.
It's also good against aura reading if your on generators, healing, etc. Considering I prefer not to be chased, this perk is also extremely good for my type of playstyle which is doing generators/being productive with a bit stealth to it, so I can remain hidden.

I’m very glad they took the feedback from us, I generally love this mode a lot, them extending it is proof that they do listen, which is promising!
I’d love for them to make it permanent if possible!

they're both cute tbh. imho i wish renato got some better cosmetics and wish thalita gets a pants cosmetic though. please. all the girl gets is booty shorts and skirts ;_;
Both need more cosmetics! I love all of Renato's skins, and he deserves a lot more. Thalita is super beautiful, though I do agree that she could get a pants cosmetic rather then shorts/skirts.
-
@Bafugaboo said:
I see them in most games that is weird that you do not.
Thalita is more common then Renato, but compared to others like Feng, Sable, Mikeala, Jane, I tend to not see her so often. :(

Usually played by rage quitting trolls in my experience.
I've yet to come across a bad Renato player, the ones I played with were gods, but most Thalita's in my games do tend to rage quit I agree.

The thing is that hug-tech was never intended, and an exploit. Good Blights abused that exploit and made matches unbearable, now that he got fixed, he became much more fair to verse, and in fact one of my favorite killers to verse.
An easy time? Well not exactly, I've versed some great Blights even after the nerf, people can't just be carried by hug-tech anymore, which is a positive in my opinion, and requires more skill on their end. Along with there being more counterplay considering that he was, and still is a very good killer.
-
That sounds super unique, and suits Quentin perfectly. Plus it's a nice change compared to the Pharmacy we have today, I'm 100% down for this rework.

I mean, HUD already does this. You always see that survivor downed without being in chase and screaming. Sometimes you know where the killer and dude in dying state in completely different place, when he was up few seconds ago. There was not a single case that i didn't understand that player uses Plot Twist. It's just soloq survivors hate to use their brain and given tools, nothing new.
Uhm actually, theres Calm Spirit and the killer could be undetectable. 🤓
-
The most interesting build I got was Invocation Weaving Spiders, Deliverance, Boon Shadow Step, and Iron Will.
That one was the best because all the perks kinda synergies with each other.
I also kept getting Invocation and Deliverance just in general with all the matches I played with the modifer.
-
I kept getting Invocation Weaving Spiders, along with Deliverance.
-
The issue with Ghostface to me is that you can hear him coming to your area if you listen enough, and if people keep tabs on his location, and take him out of stalk, he is pretty much powerless.
Him hitting a non-exposed survivor removes a ton of stalk progress off them, and good survivors will force Ghostface to hit them if their at a pallet or window, etc.
His only saving aspect for him is his add-ons.
-
@danielmaster87 said:
Weak. All his decent add-ons are gone.
May you explain how he feels weak? I’m curious because I think he is still strong and still has some good add-ons to use.
-
Ghostface and Myers (both without add-ons).
With add-ons is probably Freddy.
-
Singularity, he’s very difficult to play when you first pick him up, but he eventually gets easier and in the end it’s worth it, he is super strong in the right hands, and throw on a good build, your all set.
-
He’s a lot stronger in my opinion. Chucky is one of my mains, I tend to use Slice and Dice to get hits around loops really quick rather then wait for the free hit with scamper.
The new 18 second to 12 second change is extremely good for Chucky players who uses Slice and Dice a lot more often. Though weaker for the ones who wait to scamper, which is better and will require more skill finally.
Overall, great changes! 👍🏻

well we know what the august one is.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/ON08CZTEMD1X/image.png
As for the july release, it's a midchapter, ie., just a survivor. And they said the survivor is the embodiment of the very word "survivor".
Hoping for Sidney Prescott.
-
We need more variety, perk buffs would be great, instead of the casual "nerf this, nerf that".
-
We're still arguing about this? All these filters do is cause headaches, and strain eyes.
-
Not trying to be rude, but a 5 second nerf isn't that serious and I don't see the point in this post. It's still a strong perk.
-
Increasing generator times will be miserable, no thanks.
Most of the changes were minor (execpt for Pop, which was a unnecessary change).
-
@GenJockeyNance said:
I don't mind the hit to scamper to prevent free hits, I can get you without needing to rely on free hits. my problem with it is the turn rate for scampering. If devs don't look into the turn rate of scamper it'll become practically useless. It also nerfs his gameplay at shack. You could pop hidey ho mode and mindgame the window through scamper which to my understanding will be impossible now mixed with the awful cruise control when scampering through shack window.
I hope they look into the turn rate at least. Doesn't have to be anything crazy, just something to make scamper now not be kinda useless.
This is exactly what I want as well.
-
Chucky is one of my p100s, and I saw the patch notes, I actually do not mind the changes, the 12 seconds are going to allow me to constantly gain more pressure during chase, or simply trying to sneak up on someone.
The scamper change isn't my main issue, sure it's a questionable nerf, since I believe Chucky was in a good spot, the issue is how poorly your turn-rate is when your using the power at times, and now with the changes, getting hits after a scamper will be very situational, since the survivor could easily dodge it by going around something, or staying in a corner all together.
If these changes go live, then please give him a better turn-rate after a scamper, then return the turn-rate to it's normal state when you hit, or miss the Slice and Dice attack.

As much as I love the Resident Evil games/content, we can’t forget the Wesker situation where every match was playing against him, that lingered for months, I think that two Resident Evil chapters is enough.
Theres is many more licenses that can be added, or continuations of ones we already have, like SAW.
-
No. Overdrive is fine because it lasts for a short duration.
-
How awful, she was only 29 which is young! May she rest peacefully. From what I heard she seemed so sweet and an amazing person. Unknown is one of my favorite killers to play as and against, so she is someone, I myself and many people respect for sure.
Never forget. 💔
-
Spirit will always be my main at heart and will always be my number one, but for the past few months I've been maining Chucky, I have him at p88 currently, he's just a blast to play as.

Like Light Footed doesn't work when imjured I feel like Lightweight should have the same condition of when healthy the perk deactivates. Either that or make it so it doesn't work when exhausted. It should have some type of condition attached to it.
It's already a niche perk, why would you want to nerf it.
@sizzlingmario4 said:
Lightweight doesn't need a nerf. If anything, Light-Footed should work while injured as well.
I agree with this.
-
Last week I got 300k bloodpoints, this week I got 10 rift fragments which is such a letdown considering you have to wait a week before you can use it again.

So it does make a difference after all. That's my point. 3 seconds was not very good, so it also wasn't a big deal when DS was used to bodyblock. You'd simply down and tunnel them for free. Now with a 5 seconds however, this still puts you in a lose-lose situation.
So you agree with the 3 seconds not being very good, but now with the 5 seconds it's apparently not very fun to verse and puts you in a lose-lose situation, what would you do to the perk then? Since your point is that the extra two seconds is apparently such a big deal.

Then why did we buff DS to begin with? If 2 seconds don't make a difference, then let's revert it to 3 seconds. Because back then I didn't have to deal with this crap. Funny how that works in both directions, huh?
A survivor that is constantly in my face is not doing gens, that is true. However, they make sure I cannot progress my objective while 2 of their team mates are still on gens. Now, what's better for survivors 3:1 or 2:0? You don't need a Ph.D in mathematics to understand that the second option is infinitely better, literally. The killer completely stops to progress their objective for as long as that survivor is still bodyblocking with DS and then loses extra time catching up to the other one again.
All while their team mates do gens. Just like old DH, this doesn't happen randomly. It happens when that survivor is about to go down but because they didn't need to use an exhaustion perk for that, it took even longer to get them in that position. When you finally down that survivor, the other 2 could have very well finished their 2 gens, so now you get a Pop / Pain Res, that does pretty much nothing as well.
Because 3 seconds was way too short of a duration. It was practically useless against killers like Blight, Chucky, Nurse, etc. If you want to avoid getting stunned with DS, just don't pick up, or avoid the survivors that are in lockers, they are just distracting you, instead find the ones that you haven't hooked yet if you want your Pop/Pain Res, once those 60 seconds are up they have to wait until they are hooked to be able to have a chance to use it.
Two extra seconds is a good thing for the perk.
-
I think this is a fine thing to keep, Plague gets her corrupt removed when getting stunned with pallets, etc. DS should remain disabling it since it counts as a stun, Plague is already a very strong killer.
-
We all looked like children at one point on the forums, here we debate and discuss, and it's pretty much going to get heated at some point between some people, but in the end it's all over a game.
Your apology shows you've matured and shown progress! I hope everything goes well for you in the future, thank you for the kind words. Please don't strain yourself over the posts you've made back then, and continue to control that frustration, in the end you will feel so much better, I've went through a similar situation when I was younger.
-
Good riddance, perk was busted to begin with.
-
I tend to be more stealthy but productive, I run Lightfooted + Lightweight, Distortion, and Deja Vu. I also equip a toolbox, I'm not great with looping so I'm more of the gen jocky, and the stealth perks all together help keep me hidden so I can continue pressuring the killer.
-
To all the people complaining about people being aggressive with the buffed DS, they could've been aggressive prior to the buff as well you know, they only buffed it by 2 seconds.
Besides, if they are in your face constantly then they are off generators, more pressure for you.
-
@Royval said:
I think once the last 2 survivors left they should have their auras revealed every 45-60 secs.
Fine, but make generators take 60 seconds when theres only 2 survivors left, it's only fair in my opinion.

Lightborn is a must against Backround Player and Flashbang users, I sometimes don't even unequip it at points because you don't know if a player has it, I run it just to be safe.
Nerfing/Reworking Lightborn will make things miserable for killers.

Trying to P3 Bill currently. It's pretty rough going after the event that's for sure.
The event let me prestige so much. I got one million bloodpoints every 4-5 matches or so, now it takes forever to even get 100k bloodpoints, the current state of the grind is terrible!
-
100% agree. I do hate Hug tech a lot, but at the same time survivors have a variety of things that can make situations more difficult for the killer, like heal tech to prevent pickups at exits, and crouch tech.
In my opinion, there should be no "techs", they are simply exploits/bugs that need to be removed.
-
2v8 no question.
Another one I’d like to see is seperate casual and competitive game modes.
