Perhaps not the worst change we've ever seen, but hell it is a contender. Those two perks should be reverted.
It was also a great perk for anti-tunneling since it encourages you to gain the four stacks, for more points. It was the best designed perk they made in my opinion because it was useful both grind, and gameplay wise. Like you said, they should revert both.

Blood Hunts should honestly just drop every weekend. Two days of double bloodpoints every weekend.
I wouldn't be opposed to bringing back old BBQ, I would do anything for that 4th BBQ token even if it means I lose the game. Hell, I wouldn't be opposed to making it base-kit to a degree either, replacing the auras with killer instinct and making the bloodpoint bonus baseline. Not to mention WGLF, which encouraged survivors to safely unhook instead of farming with Borrowed Time.
Every weekend would be awesome, not only it will reduce the grind a bit, but it will encourage people to play. Though I do believe the base bloodpoint gain should be increased.

Its rough going back to default for sure, makes me realise that the standard BP for matches is not enough anymore and they need to increase it yet again. Or bring back tokens for BBQ and WGLF for those of us who were BP Andy's
There was no issue with BBQ or WGLF having the bloodpoint bonus, in fact it made games so much more worth playing since your being rewarded more points for doing the objective. Them removing it was the most ridiculous thing they ever did.

Wicked - Solid anti-tunnel/information perk, the 20 second aura reading is great for escaping the area where you've been hooked and keeping track of where the killer is, and the basement unhook part is quite nice. Solid 8/10 perk.
Strength in Shadows - Niche healing perk that gets overshadowed by medkits, and other healing perks. Though, still a good choice, 70% is quite quick, compared to Self Cares 35% healing speed, though what brings it down is that you have to go to the basement in order to heal, which can be time wasting when you can again just use a medkit, or do generators. Overall the perk isn't the best but still gets the job done. 6/10 perk.
Invocation: Weaving Spiders - Cool concept but awful in execution, I like the idea of high risk, high reward type perks. But this one ain't it, the part that kills the perk instantly is that you spend two whole minutes doing the 'ritual', then after you become injured all game, the reward is a brand new part on all generators (10%). Terrible perk, just do generators instead, the reward is not worth it at all, the downsides kill the perk. 1/10 perk.

After playing against Strength in Shadows for a few weeks, I've been unable to adapt to the perk. It's frankly incredibly strong, and each player that runs the perk allows my pressure as killer to snowball away.
Especially when combined with Botany Knowledge, Desperate Measures and other heal speed-increasing perks, being able to self-heal without a medkit in less than 15 seconds is insane.
Even when I know players are running Strength in Shadows, making the trek all the way over to the basement as Killer is such an incredible time-waster that it's not worth it just to catch one healing survivor near no generators, especially towards late game.
Survivors swarm generators like flies, and every time I injure one they just flee away to the basement to heal up and if I follow them I lose the generators, but they're guaranteed a quick 30-second heal to reset the process. This cycle is incredibly stressful to play against.
This also enables especially altruistic teams to take advantage of the self-heal speed, allowing one person to body block and take hits for others and very rapidly healing by themselves while 2 other players remain on generators (because another one isn't needed to heal, allowing twice the progress to be made on gens while one heals themselves alone). I've been having numerous games where the same player is even able to body block against me multiple times in one chase due to the sheer speed Strength in Shadows allows them to heal.
Nobody is attributing stressful games to the perk right now I think because it's not as immediately apparent when it's being used as Boons, which make map-wide audio cues when they are in play.
However, Strength in Shadows cannot be as fast as it is: it's creating a level of stress playing as killer that I've only had matched by the first several versions of Circle of Healing, all the troublesome versions of Dead Hard, and the 6 months Made For This was problematic.
The issue is if your running all the way to basement to get a heal off, your wasting a lot of time when you could be doing generators. Bringing a medkit is much more viable, I think it's fine the way it is.

or let’s try not to gatekeep feedback. People can give their feedback/suggestions on topics that are not on top of your priority list!
I'm trying to be civil here, but if people are going to attempt to change the subject in order to silence me just because they want their priorities to come first, then they need to stay off my post, simple. It's quite rude, honestly.
Thanks for the backup. :)

Let's start with features that prevent survivors from being unhookable and then we can speak about the ones preventing bleeding out
I'm talking about a system that lets people move onto their next match, an insta-kill button or something. Not something that people can abuse, like the ones that want to purposely make themselves unhookable, they would obviously want to stay alive. Casual players like myself, we want it to be over.

Same, I think a lot of people were annoyed by the event, but the grind was reduced so much I sorta fell in love with it.
I came back to DBD solely because of the event, the grind was so less painful. Getting barely past 20k BPS per match makes me die inside when I got almost 200k every GAME during the event. The current state of bloodpoint earning is so bad, it needs to be increased.
-
It absolutely deserved the buff.
-
I managed to get my Sable to P39 because of it, I'm pretty satisfied, though going back to normal is going to be upsetting considering I'm very used to getting 150k bloodpoints per game, now only 20-30k. :(

@MaddieMage said:
I played my last match of the event 10 min before it ended. Used the blood orbs and all that and got the multipliers but cuz the match ended 3 minutes after the end, it gave us none of the BP multipliers or the extra event points. 😐
If we are already in the match before event ends we should still get the event bonus at the end. But oh well. That would've made me really mad. They should make the 400% bloodpoint bonus permanent, the grind without it is dreadful, it would make everything so much better.
-
It took a while but now ever since the deserved buffs he is my favorite killer to verse, and even play as.

@Chocolate_Cosmos said:
Yea that event (the 300% and 400% bonus) rly kept me coming back but now its time to play more backlog games (singleplayer mostly).
Same the event in general kept me grinding for a long-long time haha. I managed to get my Sable to P39 because of the event, I need the 400% to be permanent haha.
-
Lightborn is your counter. 🤓
In all seriousness, there is nothing you can do, and wasting a perk slot for something uncounterable at points is ridiculous.
-
Heck no. The perk does nothing to progress the game further, it simply gives information. Why would you want to nerf that? Good killers focus on pressuring generators rather than chasing anyways.
-
No thanks. It's an exploit that should've been removed a while ago.
-
It took 3 years just to nerf Blights overpowered add-ons. I don’t see the exploits being patched anytime soon, even one of the devs confirmed it was unintentional.
Facing a good Blight who can do these exploits is one of the most broken things ever.
-
My top three will go to Skull Merchant, Knight, and Wesker. The game would be so much better without the three in it.
-
I felt your pain while reading your statement.
-
I don’t mind if they nerf it to make it more fair, but it has to still be very strong due to it being an endgame perk. Or they could rework it.
-
They should add hardware bans, that would solve a lot of problems.
-
@MrPenguin said:
I mean, it's better so that's something.
it might be a SWF perk, but even that seems unlikely imo. It still seems underwhelming.
I can see it only working in a SWF as well like you said, with a good team I can see it being useful, but in solo queue I’m unsure if it will be as good.

I still think the Broken status is too much for Weaving Spiders. It should either go away after they get hooked or have a duration of 60-120 seconds. Perma-broken is still too much.
Being in the basement for 120 seconds is super risky and time wasting. But I like the change where it runs like a Brand New Part, but not being able to heal after kills the perk, I like your idea.

Or may be, Broken until getting hooked.
That works as well, I feel that it being permanent makes it so overwhelming to use since your wasting 2 minutes in the basement.
-
It’s strong, but risky. I feel that it’s going to be useful in solo queue though from the aura reading.

Should be about 15 seconds. (0.7 * 1.5 = 1.05 ; 16 / 1.05 = 15.23809523809524)
I would honestly say it is stronger than every other healing perk, but not stronger than the strongest way to self heal (medkits).
Not only that, but Self-Care is probably never going to be used again.
-
It will pair quite nicely with Off The Record.
It’s a dollarstore version of Deliverance, but the 20 seconds of aura reading will be very strong.
-
I think the broken status should be like 90 seconds instead of for the rest of the trial.
Otherwise it’s pretty niche but does have its uses, in like 3-Gen situations.
-
Minus the perks, what can even be nerfed for survivors? The generator change was 100% needed in my opinion.
-
No thank you.
-
Chucky and Wesker I've verse so much to the point I made a tier just for them, I can feel like I'm having a blast or the worst time of my life when playing DBD.
The rest can be understanding in my opinion.
-
Old Billy is pretty much back, with buffs, finally.
3 years and we finally did it!! Though old charge speed add-ons should never return.
-
Impactful Grip ~
Whenever you safely unhook a survivor 3 times, Impactful Grip activates.
Your next pallet or window fast vault speed is increased by 40% and you gain a 10% haste effect afterwards for 10 seconds.
Graceful Presence ~
Whenever you heal survivors to full health by any means for a total of 3 times, Graceful Presence Activates.
Press the active ability button, and gain a 175% speed bonus to healing to healing others for 80 seconds and see the aura of any injured survivors, and they can also see your aura.
The healing speed bonus does not stack.
Stealthy Protection ~
Whenever you take a protection hit by any means, gain the following effects:
Leave no scratch marks, grunts of pain, pools of blood, and footstep sounds for 15 seconds.
My perks I like to require helping your team a lot in exchange for a powerful effect, let me know what you think.

I've seen Orphan, not seen First Kill. Personally, I don't see her as interesting enough to be a killer in DBD. What do you think her "powers" should be?
Esther used many weapons like a gun, gasoline to destroy a treehouse, a pillow, a kitchen knife, a hammer, she also jumps out and attacks her victims (for an example her bully at the park).
I think different types of weapons can spawn around the map that give her different abilites, unique and different compared to each other and her "stealth" ability can be like hiding in lockers and gaining a sprint to attack when ready, she can press the ability button to run out at the survivor and hit them.
Her scars are a very sensitive part to her, in the end of the 2009 film we see her remove scar coverings, and she wipes her makeup off in the end "after twist is revealed", and goes fricking ballistic to the mother, and the little sister, I think an ability that charges up and allows her to do something like take off the coverings and become undetectable for quite a while (in the film she was quite stealthy in the end), and have something else but I'm not sure.
I'm not the best with coming up with chapters but having Esther in game would be amazing, especially with a power that suits her character.

It's 2023. How do people still not know to never click on anything offering you anything? And you have to enter your login info? How are people falling for this?
Every message and friend request from random people on Steam is someone trying to rip you off. Every single one.
I guess it explains all the emails I get about my unclaimed tax refund, undelivered packages, and free money from African princes.
I'm sure some other people have reasons to falling for it, for an example my friends. When my friend fell for it, the person then stole her account sent the scam link for the 50 dollars to all her and my other friends, making them get scammed as well. We all gifted each other stuff before so a 50 dollar card was nothing new, so we gladly took it.
We known each other for years now, and we wouldn't dare believe it was a scam or somebody that stole her account, that's one reason how it can happen, though not everybody has that excuse.
-
Huntress is getting changed according to the developers in the roadmap, so maybe she'll get her new chase music when those changes arrive.
-
She belongs in fortnite.

@Smoe said:
The rule of thumb is never trust random steam invites or anything they say or send to you.
Correct. I just feel extremely bad for my friends who lost their accounts because of this.
They also got charges on their card that they didn't make from them, it's just terrible.
-
In the PTB and in live. It's very good practice!
-
Also, when those people access your account after you login through the fake redeem site, they will use your account to scam others. It's a horrendous thing those awful people do, people lose accounts from this, once again, please stay alert everyone!
-
I wouldn't mind if it had unlimited range since it's such a situational perk.
-
Revert all the changes they ever did to him (besides engraving add-ons).
3 years he has been in the dirt, if they can simply revert the changes then he will be good again. Also, I really hate the "roar" he makes when starting to sprint with his chainsaw, I don't know why but it just annoys me.
-
I think it's quite strong if used correctly.
The only issue I have with the perk is when it reveals the hook "bubble" when you hook someone.
-
That's just solo queue life, nothing new, I've dealt with people like that a lot, you will run into people like that, it is what it is.
I understand your reason to be upset, because solo queue makes me want to just quit the game at times as well. :)

When a survivor gets vacuumed into a locker whereas they would have made the vault, I always let them hop out and continue chase. I know the frustration.
I love when killers do that, you are very friendly. :)
The ones I go up against have no hesitation to get me downed and out of the match.

Now that Chucky was released I watched all Child's Play movies (with the exception of the remake).
Anyone seen the TV show?
I love the show! It's amazing how far the Chucky franchise has went.
Also, the remake isn't terrible, I saw it in theaters when it came out, it's decent, just not as superior as the original 2.

Please. Seriously. Add a minimum spawn distance between lockers and windows.

Would be nice if they allowed for better button configuration. 1 button should not be forced to do so many different things. This goes for both sides.
Both of these would easily fix the issue. This has been an issue for years, it needs to eventually get implanted some how.

I'd love that.
