That’s definitely lag. I’ve seen worse versions of it but this is a bad case.
-
With this logic might as well nerf every Hex Totem to be useless since new survivors can’t find them. Probably just get rid of totems in general if new survivors can’t find them.
We can’t just fix problems by removing or nerfing things that are not a big deal. If you struggle finding totems there is two good perks helping you find them. If people decide not to run them, they can’t complain. It’s their own fault why they struggle.
-
You’re in low ranks man. Any killer is fine at those ranks because a lot of the time killers camp and most survivors don’t play well and make a ton of mistakes. If red or purple rank survivors went against that pig all gens would be done before she hooked anyone.
-
I got the game free for PS+
It included the 3 main killers Trapper, Wraith, Hillbilly
But this was the special edition that was free so I also received Doctor, Hag, Nurse and Huntress. Also included their survivors Feng, David, Nea, and Ace.
Keep in mind that if you buy full chapters. (Killer and Survivor together) they cost $8 instead of $10 for both bought separately.
I’ve only bought Licensed killers when they were on sale with full chapters. At the price of $4 for both killer and survivor. With the exception of ghostface which I bought on release day but has been on sale since then a number of times for $2.50.
If you wait for the sales they usually do %50 off and you could buy both survivor and killer cheaper than the price of one originally.
The most recent Killer I bought with shards and I will also buy with shards the new killer. I have about 38,000 right now and I haven’t bought any of the last 3 survivors since you can always get their perks from the shrine of secrets for shards.
Even to this day I have spent less on this game than if I were to buy a new $60 game and I have so much content for the money I’ve spent.
-
Deathslinger
You already have the best perks from the other killers and they aren’t very good killers.
-
I’m pretty sure they have separate teams for everything. Teams for art cosmetics, new killers, bug fixes, and etc. Not releasing chapters won’t make them fix the game faster since they would still have the same amount of people working on fixing the game.
-
I think survivor has a higher ceiling cap than killer because you need to be able to know how to run tiles and loops and to figure out how to adapt to new killers and types of killer players. Once you figure that out, it’s a walk in the park. Especially if you have SWF. Even just a 2 man SWF can gen rush and or waste a lot of the killers time. So I wouldn’t necessarily say survivor need a buff. If anything they are okay where they are especially with a lot of second chances perks.
As killers, there is a lot of weak killers that will get destroyed. I would call for some sort of change to the speed of gens getting done. And a slight buff to the weaker killers. Then it would be more of a fair match. I think the current top killers are fine where they are and don’t need a buff.
-
I get your point and it makes sense. However, that’s where I see the problem. So many killer perks, but if you don’t take 2-3 gen slowdown perks then you will most likely lose because gens go extremely quick. What’s the point of all these perks if we only get to use the same few to compensate for gen speed. I don’t believe people should have to stop running BBQ just to win a game. I don’t believe people should stop running any perk they’d like to run even just for fun perks just so they have a chance at winning.

What is better to reel in the survivor faster. Walking back while reeling or walking forward. Does one make the chain break faster than the other or is it the same.

Bubba to facecamp toxic survivors. He’s also just my favorite overall even before I got the game.
-
Tunneling is always ok. That’s because tunneling doesn’t even exist. If you think taking out the strongest survivor first is going to help you take out the rest easier, go ahead. Your job as a killer is to stop as many survivors from escaping. It doesn’t matter how you do it. Tunneling is a made up term. If you want to go for one person because they made you upset or you think they are a threat to your chance for success then do whatever you need to do in order to win. Even if you just don’t like Claudettes or Bills or etc. whatever the reason is do it if you want. After all it’s just a video game. Play by your rules not some made one rules with made up terms.
-
its a video game man. Play however you want. If you think your decisions are going to play out the best in your current situation go for it without a doubt. Who cares what the opinions of others say. Most people are going to just worry about themselves.
-
Your entire post reveals how little of survivor you have played. The more you play the more counters you will find. You can’t play a few games and expect to have the knowledge to loop any killer for days. That’s not how it works, that’s not how anything works. My advice is to keep playing, practicing, and learning. Eventually you will realize you and your team have the power role against a killer as long as you are a decent player and play effectively. I mean decent by the slightest possible way. It doesn’t take too much skill unless you play against the stronger killers with smart players behind them and even then you don’t have to be a profession to vault some windows and loop a safe pallet.

Hard =/= impossible. If the gates are both very close and easily accessable from the same vantage point, it is arguably impossible.
Okay it may seem that way but gates don’t spawn next to each other every game. It happens once in a while. Like I said earlier it’s still a third chance you got. It shouldn’t be a 50/50 on escaping. The odds should be against you because it’s the THIRD chance. If you couldn’t escape with the other two chances then you and your team didn’t play well and don’t deserve the escape. On the killer side it’s impossible to stop survivors from escaping through hatch with a key. They don’t even need to finish all gens. You can even close the hatch and they are still guaranteed an escape.
This is coming from someone who plays both sides equally at rank 1.

I believe they mean that Survivors should have a chance when the Hatch is closed. I can see where OP is coming from.
They already had 2 other chances at escaping. Gens and hatch. If they failed those two already. Why should they get a third. The third chance is going to be extremely hard but it’s an option. If the gates happen to be so close together oh well. You already missed your chances

I'm just hoping they give him more add on diversity there's really No point of using add ons outside of turning charge time or cooldown
I think hillbilly and leatherface are next to be reworked as far as addons.

I got super lucky for these honestly. I say these because I did the challenge where I hook 5 survivors in the basement in one game and sacrifice 4 in one game in back to back games. I first did the 5 hooks with agitation and iron grasp. My first down was on the opposite side on the map of the basement so I carried the survivor as close as possible to the direction of the basement hoping it would lure people towards that area and it did. I hooked one after the other and used Hillbilly to get quick downs on the stairs. I actually ended up sacrificing all 4 in the basement but this wasn’t for that challenge. Anyways my second game I immediately found one person AFK and took them to the basement. And once they got back they let themselves die on hook. I found someone else and took them to basement and they let themselves die as well since it was basically a 3 survivor game. And I was able to find the last 2 and hook them in basement as well. I was praying the last survivor wasn’t going to DC before I got the hook.
It is doable you just might have to play a couple games before getting it done. Patience is your friend here.
-
You’re that same guy that made a post about this game being killer sided. You must be new. Once you get more experience it won’t be as hard trust me.
-
To me he looks slow. However with ghostface he feels like he’s running super fast when he puts his knife up and chases you. I know he’s not any faster but it’s just the animation that tricks your mind.

A really good looking P3 in my opinion, love the Blood on the Leather Jacket.
Never thought about it but it comes with 2 prestige outfits? 2 masks and 2 bodies?

I mean it looks alright, its basically a standard P3-50 full cosmetic combo...
I wasn't expecting anything AMAZING, although I do like The Legions full P3-50 combo despite hardly using it...
Myers is my favorite though, but that's cause he's my main so i'm a bit biased.
What does P3 Legion look like

I find Killer more stressful because sometimes there is nothing you can do besides accept the fact that you will be shown that you have no power as a killer against a SWF team with DS, BT, BNP addons and toolboxes with Prove thyself.
Survivors can sometimes be stressful but if you have a good team it’s the most relaxed thing in the world. The killer is scared of you more than you are scared of the killer. The only stress I find playing survivor is when my teammates are complete garbage because there is absolutely nothing I can do besides hope the killer gives me the hatch.

@Peanits said:
That would be a little too much, in my opinion. A cosmetic is perfectly fine- if it looks good and fits with the game, it can't possibly go wrong. A chapter, on the other hand, is months of work, testing, and iterations. What it starts as and what it ends as can be two different things, and I can foresee a lot of disappointment if for once reason or the other the end product ends up different from the original design.
Beyond that, we have chapters planned well into the future, so squeezing it in might be tough.
When will elephant clown be released.

all I care is if sniper doc is still a thing most fun build on doctor
I prefer Big terror radius doc with 3 gens. It gives you that “power role” feeling where you’re not really near other survivors yet your atmosphere is messing up their skillchecks and making them scream.

I just want fun addons.
Myers has fun addons that make me want to play just to earn them again. I want more like that, and I will be happy.
I agree with Myers having the most fun and diverse addons. Not just the usual increase this and that or applies a certain status effect that will never do anything useful for 90 seconds.

Yeah, everyone's been saying re-work LF, re-work legion
Devs: We're Re-working doc
Community: uhh, ok. Guess something's better than nothing... 🤷♂️😐
They said this a while ago when freddy was being announced on his rework release. They said that nurse was next, then the doctor. And if I remember correctly they said they were going to work on the chainsaw brothers. Because currently they both don’t have any Ultra rares and have 1 less addon than all the other killers. So hopefully they give bubba some new addons that actually are useful and make a difference. I’m excited to see what they come up with for Ultra rares. Maybe no collisions with chainsaw to objects at all with the downside of a small charge speed penalty.
-
i never see a ghostface do this but I can only imagine they do this for a daily challenge. Since you have to peek the corner then hit the marked survivor. Ghost face’s power can be difficult to use in higher ranks because you waste too much time and get exposed way too quickly. The play style I always see people use is use shroud and get an M1 hit quickly. And If the chase lasts long enough they use the power to mind game loops.

I mean, trapper has the highest pick rate by far, and his average kills is above 50%. I feel as if he's in a good spot right now. Very good snowball potential and one of the strongest, if not THE strongest basement killers (setup traps in the 3 entrances and you are guaranteed at least on kill)
I feel he is the highest picked because he is on the cover, he is the first killer, one of 3 that come with the game, and killer is easier to play at lower ranks. A lot of the data is picked up from the early ranks of new players.

Imagine how Quentin feels....

I prefer kindred over bond and empathy.

It’s a video game man. Tunneling isn’t even real. It’s just a made up term for the toxic survivors to whine about and make an excuse to why they lost.
-
I just liked being able to see the ranks and who is prestiged because it looked appealing to me. I thought it was a great feature

LOL. The sarcasm got me.
-
It sounds like you just need more experience. Keep trying and you will get better. Try out different perks builds.
-
Best perk for solo players hands down.
-
I would Prestige Steve back to p3 with all perks and same with Claudette and then I would p3 Meg this time with all perks. And the rest of the survivors can stay at level 40. Then prestige bubba to p3 and then not prestige any killers but max them out with perks again. And with the rest of the extra blood points I would refresh the bloodweb for survivors for items.

They're Dull, when I cleansed both I got the exposed effect. I know its not Haunted Grounds unless they changed it to where Haunted Grounds is not lit up anymore.. idk I think its just the Macmillian Estate map because it happened to me twice in two different games.
Edit: @Spirez
Maybe haunted grounds is bugged. I haven’t played enough to experience this. But I have cleaned dull totems and nothing for me
-
They should have a nice clean bear suit and then an alternate where the bear has blood all over and the stomach is ripped open with guys dangling out that move in reaction to the trappers movements
-
Can you elaborate on what you mean by “getting hex effects”? Do you mean they look like they’re lit up but they’re not actually a hex totem? Or do you mean for example the killer has hex ruin but none of the 5 totems on the map are lit up and you can’t tell which one is the actual hex.
-
OP is a troll or just can’t find the way to play him. However, he is hard to control a dash attack because there is so many obstacles survivors can just run around and dodge. I found it best to just dash to the survivor and if there is a slight chance of missing I don’t attack I just stop dashing and now I’ve closed the gap between the survivor and I. Now I can go for a 0.1 second charge attack for the 1 hit down. If anything to me he’s more of a Myers with a mobility of hillbilly.
-
This was one of the best things Behaviour added.

I'm confused about how, with how it was placed, how clear it was, and how easily it fit in the spot, that this was a bug.
Like... someone had to create the code to place a players rank above their character and have it so it was positioned and sized correctly to not cover any of the other information.
These ranks show during custom games and I think party lobbies before joining a game. So they probably accidentally transferred it over.
-
Man that’s so lame. If I saw a green or yellow rank survivor I knew to help them and heal them to make it easier for them. Now I have no clue what to expect of my teammates. I thought this was one of the best features they added. Apparently not.
-
I think they reduced the degree you can turn from the PTB it’s not 180 anymore it’s a lot less. I’m not sure exactly how much less but feels like a lot. The controller probably isn’t helping it either.
