Well tunneling slightly seemed to work wonders, I guess that's what legion is now? Tunnel or lose? =/
Egh I think ima just play someone else now.
Strange, i find that when i start to tunnel is a sure way to lose as Legion
I hope they don't get reworked honestly
I actually really enjoy playing as them
A couple of buffs and tweaks is all they need imo
-
Make it activate only after the second hook and tripple the bloodpoints gained by it
Then mori's would be a fancy way to make bloodpoints instead of completly changing the balance of the game
In return let key's only be able to open the hatch in the end game crisis with bonus bloodpoints
For the same reason
-
Nobody got any opinions on this?
I'm able to take critique too
-
Something about Legion's Fatal Frenzy is immensly satisfying if you are able to chain a lot of hits
Catching someone with a well placed trap as trapper or hag also never fails to make me smile
-
If you want to succeed with Legion you need to be pretty good with mindgames and chases in general
His power is to get everyone injured but you have to do the rest yourself
You need to know when to abandon chase, which pallets can be mindgamed and which ones need to be broken asap
That said they need some love, doing well with them will take a lot more effort then doing well with most other killers
-
A spider humanoid killer would be amazing
And i would buy it instantly
It doesn't have to be a real spider
Like a hybrid of spider\human
Search crypt tv miss annity on youtube
Something like that

I like the oblivious idea a lot. Mix in a few more QoL changes and Legion would be fairly solid in my eyes.
Yeah, i think it would be an interresting change
Probably not a popular opinion but i don't really want Legion to get a rework
I like the way they play now and a rework will probably take that away
I think with a few tweaks they can be strong without being a chore to vs
-
If this would happen then they would atleast have to add a totem counter as wel so you know how many totems are left
-
I don't see why changing the owners of the property would change anything that was agrees on prior to the change
I'm not a lawyer ofcourse so i'm not sure
-
Even if he is as strong as you say, that doesn't mean an instant nerf is required
Changing the meta up once and a while is a good thing
Let it play out and see if people can come up with a counter on their own and after that look if adjustments are needed
-
The speed increase was definitifly a step in the right direction
While still pretty weak, they feel a lot nicer to play with now
The power feels smooth and chaining multiple hits happens a lot more now
The only thing i would change right now is that missed attacks only deplete a quarter of your power
Losing your power, taking a 4 sec stun and having to wait for your power to recharge is a lot of penalty for missing a single attack
And something that helps them for actually downing people
I would like to see that FF also adds oblivious until you have mended
That way mending no longer is 12 seconds of standing still in safety, but 12 seconds of franticly looking around if Legion isn't coming
-
Forever Freddy nerf was an obvious change to happen and honestly it won't effect most Freddy players
I'm glad they only changed his addons and not his base kit
And the only thing of Oni being nerfed is one addon, you can still use the mouse to get the flick no?

I don't believe there's such thing as "creating" free thinkers. I certainly don't believe Tru3 is the one who can prove me wrong. I also think I wasted too much time typing this, but eh, I was eating some nachos anyway.
yeah :P
Tru3 is a very competent player, he knows virtually everything of a game that is a party game at heart, but he treats it like if it isn't, and that's why he becomes so frustrated when he loses. He becomes delusional on snipers / this is not my build / I shouldn't have listened to chat that said hatch was there, it's your fault! and what not.
Yes he can be interesting to watch for a newcomer, but eventually one realises that his delusions don't help the community in any way, not as a whole, not as a single.
I suggest everyone to switch to Otzdarva, much more insightful and respectful, modest and probably even more skilled as a killer.
Or you know, watch both
That's also an option : P

viable to me means that killer an preform with any decent build not just one also yes if they could do everything without perks that would be viable since they would be op
Aah ok now i understand it a bit better
And i can see what you mean
Still i think the wraith can still perform well even if you change the build up
Thana for one could definitivly be traded out for something else i feel
-
Increasing the gen time is not really the answer
I feel there should be something more at the end game
Something between the gens getting powered and opening the exit gates

I think you mean "Woe the killer"

So, in order to have a tiny bit of fun in a game I need to dump all my resources on a specific character, when I have other characters that I wish to play and need perks and/or add-ons on. K.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/910092#Comment_910092
Hag is a bad example towards your point because she is good without them.
Not at all,and you don't always need the best of the best addons
All i'm saying is that, for me, addons have never been a rarity with the exeption of pink ones
And i just level the characters as normal

I can't see the difference
How would a killer be viable then in your eyes? If he can do everything perkless?

i didn't say that that made him less viable lol i was saying that you said perks are irrelevant but he used perks to use as a crutch. Also perks don't mean the killer is viable it means a killer is viable. It means a build is viable.
I'm sorry but using perks as a "crutch" is no such thing in my eyes
If you don't use everything you have available you're only handicapping yourself for no reason, wich completly defeats the point of trying to see how strong a character is
Why wouldn't you use the perks that work best with the strategy you're going for?

Because add-ons only last a single game, and there will be a point where the number of games you play without the required add-ons vastly outnumbers the games you do play with them.
People always say this but in in my experience this is simply not true
As long as you're not relying on a pink addon the bloodpoints you earn in a match usually are enough to fuel your addon expenses
Especially if you play survivor as wel and earn bloodpoints that way
-
Imagen how fun it would be if it gave oblivious

Just repeatedly saying “you can’t argue with the results” doesn’t make it true. I do dispute the results and it’s easy to poke holes in his method. 18 games is enough to have an idea but nowhere near enough to proclaim it as “proof”. Besides which there are other streamers who have had similar success with other killers. Apparently FunGoose did something similar with Plague, does that prove that Plague is one of the best killers in the game? No. Does Otzdarva doing a similar experiment with no-Ruin Trapper make Trapper a god tier killer? No.
Get back to me when he tests other killers, other add ons and other builds.
I'm sorry, I never argued that wraith was the best killer in the game
I'm arguing that he can be viable
Other killers are completly irrelevent to that matter
I don't care if wraith is top 3, top5 or top 10
All i'm seeing is that a killer that was concidered weak can clearly have succes
From that point of view, you can't argue with the results
This seems to be a misunderstanding, sorry if i wasen't clear about it
-
When you get hit through a window the killer was too close to you when you vaulted
I know it looks wonky getting hit 3 steps away from a window but that's just the way it is now
You should make sure you have plenty of distance before trying a window, the killer is closer then they seem
Any perk that gives free hits is a massive danger zone because of the snowball nature of this game
One missed hit in the beginning can lead to the difference between a 4k or an all escape
-
This is why kindred is an amazing perk

The chat feature wasn't there at release. When the devs first spoke about introducing it, I said it was a bad idea.
If I have a great game with a survivor/killer I would send them a friend invite and it would go from there. Never needed the chat feature.
90% of chat is gg or you're toxic blah blah blah.
I'm pretty sure you can change on of the ini files to make the chat hidden by default
That's bassicly removing it

He claims that Wraith is a Top 4 Killer. But this is based on the fact that Nurse and Spirit are better (which cannot be denied) and Ghostface is Top 3 according to him, because he did a similar experiment (not gonna argue with that, Ghostface is strong). But how can he know that Wraith is Top 4 when not testing all the other Killers? Surely its relevant when the other Killers dont have data.
Regarding KYF: DBD has so many variables. I dont say that you would do KYF with the best Survivors, but you need people where you know their Skill Level. And a consistent Skill Level is more helpful with analyzing.
I mean, tru3 sometimes jumps on Conclusions. Good example: Discussion if Spirit or Billy is second best a few months ago. While I cannot deny that he was right with Spirit being better (no other answer possible IMO), when playing Billy he looked like he wanted to make him look bad. Like using Chainsaws when he had to simply M1, like trying to chainsaw an Injured Survivor on a T/L-Wall.
Its the player, not the Killer.
He claims that Wraith is a top 4 killer in his opinion, cause that's what tierlists are
Opinions
I personly don't care about them, all i see is that he made a killer that he and others used to see as bad work
I do agree that it's the player, not the killer
-
@Aven_Fallen said:

The results are not relevant at all. First for that you would need KYF with good Survivors. But second, with or without KYF, you would need to check with every other Killer.
I mean, what if he gets 17 out of 18 with Clown? Is Clown viable then? Or is it because he has 4K hours in the game? When he plays Spirit and gets ony 16 out of 18, is Spirit worth than Wraith then?
He has Data, but that Data is not really meaningful. There are a bunch of Killers where he would get better results when playing them for a full day.
It could be that if he found a build for clown that he could do equally well
And if he did I would definitivly give clown a second look
But i don't see how that's relevant when discussing how viable wraith is
How other killers might perform has zero outcome on how viable wraith is
And no using kyf and only playing against the best of the best survivors scews the results
If you find that in the 17 or so games he won everyone survivor was a potato then you need to lower your expectation of the avarage survivor
-
Very underrated to say the least
If anything Tru3 showed that if you don't restrict yourself for no reason you can do wel even with killers who are deemed "bad"
People honestly need to let go on tier list a bit
Spirit is only "top tier" if you play her well
Same with Wraith, some people cling to tierlist like they are the new testament
-

I dont get why people dont like him? Yes he has very strong opinions on the game some i dont agree with but it just seems like people dislike him due to what he says.
Some people just hate streamers in general cause people tend to believe anything they say, calling them "braindead" and unable to think for there own
I can understand that to a degree but those people often forget that automaticly dismissing everything a streamer says is equally "braindead"
-
@ruler33 said:
hes not that good once people realize that all you need to do is sit near a pallet while healing and your literally safe unless he has the ultra rare add on and even then if you pay attention you will be fine.

also im 90% sure tru3 was uses sloppy butcher nurses combo to do well
So? Nurses and sloppy butcher are in the game right?
How does that make him any less viable?
-
@[Deleted User] said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/908649#Comment_908649
Sure you can. Did he try the same build with ultra rare add ons on other killers to see what success rate he had with them and compare? How do we know it’s the Wraith specifically and not the player, or the teams he faced, or the perks?
18 games in 1 day
17 4 k's
Addons used ranged from yellow to ultra rare
If you think those 17 teams that lost are all bad then maybe you should lower your estimate of the avarage survivor
Perks is irrelevant, why would you test the viability of a killer and use subpar perks?
You can't argue with the results
Wraith is strong if played correctly
Maybe not top 3, maybe not even top 5 but well equiped to win
-
Tru3 did say so and also played Wraith for a day and won like 17 out of 18 times or something
I know he's not liked a lot here but honestly you can't argue with his results

Blindness and Hemmorhage both needs good buffs but combining blindness into Oblivious isn't a good idea as oblivious is already one of the stronger effects.
Blindness effects need to work on killer specific things like Pigs boxes, Plagues fountains etc.
Blindness should also hide debuffs survivors have from being shown to them and the cooldowns on their perks. This means they couldn't tell how much they have left on thei exhaustion timer or the cooldown left on their Quick and Quiet, DS etc.
Could possibly also hide the effects on their team members so they couldn't see who was injured etc which would mean they wouldn't know who was in a chase for example.
That would make blindness a whole lot more useful yeah
I kinda wanted to see more oblivious cause i think it's a cool status effect but i wouldn't say no to straight up buffing blindness
-
@Fultterone said:
Hex: Third seal might be good to use if it afflicted oblivious instead of blindess

@Hoodied said:

No you can buff strong things
I.E Borrowed Time keeps getting buffed
I also got someone killed cause survivors couldn't find the hook after I distracted them all
Borrowed time that keeps getting buffed is more because it is connected to deep wounds, it wasen't intended to be buffed for sure but the devs keep having to mess with deep wounds wich causes borrowed time to be stronger
But that's a discussion for another thread there are enough threats about Legion getting the short end of the stick and how it made an already strong survivor perk even stronger
And yeah, blindness has it's moments, it's pretty neat in slug builds too
but how many games have you played in total and how many times has that come up that a survivor died because they couldn't find them with blindness
Everything can work if the circumstances allow it, for blindness those circumstances are few and rare in my experience
-
Like i said, it has it's moments but most of the time it doesn't really do anything
Also per definition something that needs buffs is on the weak side :P
-
Well the thing is that most people play this game to ... you know play the game
While farming gives them more bloodpoints you bassicly robbed them out of the game they wanted to play
I know i would be annoyed if after waiting forever in the loby and i wouldn't even get a real match
Also important life lesson, if people don't ask for something you shouldn't expect gratitude from them
I know you probably don't mean it like that but just demanding gratitude for something people didn't even ask for makes you look like a jerk
-
Hopefully more instances of the oblivious status effect
No terror radious really brings out the scare factor
-
Tier 1 whispers
If a survivor is on the map, i will know
-
@AngryFluffy said:
I think it would be too strong against solo survivors. Blindness does not do that much against swf, but against solos it already can be pretty strong. A combo with oblivious would be pretty bad for solo survivors imo.
As a solo survivor i find the matches against the killers with no terror radious the most thrilling, so i wouldn't actually mind having it more
Not permanently ofcourse, most blindness effects only last for 60 sec with the exeption of hex:third seal which can be cleansed
It will make those addons and perks more powerfull yes but more diversity is good right?

For me personally it would be okay, but there are also a lot of players who prefer to play stealthy. I'm afraid too many people would not like this.
I mean there will never be a solution that everyone will like
if anything having 2 minutes or something of hide and seek might make thlse players happy while the ones that don't like aren't affected that much
I'm not even sure how often it will come up that survivors will hide for the full time before the exit gates are open
Most of the time the last gen get's completed when the killer is in chase
When the killer catches that person and hooks them how many survivors would still just hide in a corner then?
-

You mean after the gens are done, the survivors don't have anything to do and wait for 2 minutes until they can escape? That won't work. Survivors will just randomly hide on the map and wait for these 2 minutes to pass. Super boring for everyone.
I can see how that would be the case yeah
Maybe if crows would apear above your head and it give sound queues to the killee like it would if you remain in a place for too long?
Or would that be to much?
