I dunno man, the high speed and combinations of perks like the nurse's calling make it really strong as EVERYTIME someone will be healing on a match against legionAnd there you are wrong, Nobody will heal vs Legion if they are smart
His Power just needs to be more lethal vs injured survivors
there has to be an incentive to heal back up
If you have that his power slows the game down
You can have your nurse calling builds
And they will be 10 times betterUntil there is, Legion has no way to apply any kind of pressure
The only thing you can do is this state is pray survivors don't know about how not healing counters him
If they don't you have a fairly balanced killer, If they do your kinda out of luck -
Hope survivors are smart enough to go on the locker inside his terror radious though
Will be a real laugh seeing an aura dissapear and i can just walk over there and jank them out of a locker
Also Iron maiden -
I see it more a buf to lockers then a nerf to BBQ tbh
Hell i would say it's a buff to BBQ as well
Now survivors hide behind gens while working on them
After the patch they will waste 10 sec to walk to a locker, hide in it for 4 sec and walk back to the gen
And i don't know about the anti aura perk
I think it's heavenly overrated
Sure when it shines, it shines bright
But how many matches where you are still at 3 tokens by the end will you endure before taking it of?
-
Monitor and Abuse is also pretty good
Lower terror radius to get close
And a bigger terror radios to use the aura reading of their power -

115% movement speed would make him OP as hell.
His first hit is bssically free. He moves at 120% speed and can vault pallets. It takes him just a few seconds to injure a survivor and there's pretty much nothing they can do about it.
Combine that with the fact that he can injure people so easily that most people dont bother to heal, you'd essentially have a 115% speed killer who can 1 hit everyone.
That is part of the problem with not wanting to heal it sort of negates the power, the power is designed to slow players down, the usage also comes with a stun so you will be able to break chase quite easily if they vault a pallet, think about it this way it is probally the same or longer time than it takes to break the pallet for other killers.
If he was 115% speed he'd basically be Myers but without the need to waste time stalking.
Also if you catch them in the open and cancel the frenzy with M2, he will be close enough to land a hit. So he'd be better than Myers.
Throw on enduring/spirit frenzy/bamboozle for when they're in a loop etc
He'd be up there with Billy. As much as killer mains refuse to accept it, Billy isn't balanced. Not by todays standards.
Remember that Legion started out too strong thats why they had to nerf him to what he is.
I know they wanted the killer to be fun but making one that can sprint and vault pallets was a mistake. He'll never be balanced correctly.
They are pretty close to being balanced tbh
When survivors actually heal you win a lot of time
There just needs to be some lethality to their power
Either by making Deep Wounds threatening by for example
Only able to be mended by allies or allowing the timer to tick while mending
Or by making it easier to down them after their injured by my ideaI'm quite curious what the devs will do though
I feel that the smallest tweak could make them a real fun killer without being nurse levelThe problem there is...
1) Only able to be mended by allies.
What happens when two survivors are left? If Legion hits one he can simply follow that one survivor to the other and then injure them. Then they either both run and bleed out, or attempt to stand mending each other in front of him and die, or the one you hit first doesnt lead you to the other and he gets to bleed out until hes downed and then hooked.
Same with 3 survivors. You have 1 at the far end of the map. He gets hit, cant find or make it to other survivors and bleeds out. Remember how easily Legion gets that first hit. He'd be the best slugg in the game. God forbid you manage to stick them all in one go like I did, if they had to mend each other they'd be screwed.
2) Timer ticks down in chase.
This would be perfect for tunneling. Land 1 unavoidable hit then chase them. You either hit them and they go down, or they loop you for a while and then they go down anyway. It's unfair on the survivor as they can't do anything. You can say "well make the timer longer" but then Legion players would complain the timer takes too long to down people.
It's a very tricky killer to balance. Doesn't help that a lot of people have been playing him wrong and taking a double stun when they could have just been taking one.
1) Yeah i would prefer the idea that their power is more lethal when used on an injured person, but mended being a co-op action is an idea that's thrown around a lot and I just added it
2) note that i said timer ticks while mending
In a chase would be horrible as there is no real counterplay for the survivor that way -
Make Your Choice
Seeing how expose doesn't work with Frenzy The Legion is with the Huntress one of 2 killers that really can't use expose effect perks that wellBamboozle
Yup, you can make some nice plays with bamboozle, especially around T-walls
3.Noed
Funny enough it is pretty good, only because it also increases movement speed though4.Franklins demise
It is nice that if you hit one you can chain of and make everyone drop their item5.Coulrophobia with Distressing
Distressing yes, more BP plus better aurareading from their ability
Coulrophobia a big no, the biggest counter to them is not healing, any healing related perk is useless on survivors who know thisMy 2 cents anyway

I feel like that may be too much seeing as they will know where you are if they hit anyone else on the teamdontTouchMyGens said:The best idea for an incentive to heal up came from Monto: If you hit someone with your rage attack who is injured but not inflicted with deep wound, that person is downed instantly.
It would be kind of weird that someone who is deeply wounded is better off that someone who is only injured, but from a gameplay perspective it would be a huge incentive to heal.
But yes something like that -
My vote still goes to "the hookers"
-
It would make hitting them twice not a waste and force the survivor to waste time to heal up or be at risk to be downed the next time Legion get's them
I'm not a fan of the time ticking while in a chase
There's little counterplay for the survivor being chased and it forces Legion to only go after one survivor which is a losing strategy anyway
IMO all they need is for people to have an incentive to heal back up
So their power wastes the time it should waste
-
I do agree that Deep Wounds is the problem
Right now it's a shield for survivors that tanks 2 to 3 hits and reduced the healing time to 10 sec and makes them immune to Nurse Calling
With as downside that they have to do it the moment they get out of chase
It helps more then it hurts
Honestly the slightest tweak will turn Legion from the worst killer to high mid tier
Let the timer be remembered as long as your injured
Or make it so the timer starts at half when you are hit when injured
Anything that makes survivors want to heal against them and his ability will slow the game down as it was intended
It really shows how delicate the balancing of this game is -
Problem is that you are then commiting to chasing a survivor as a 110% movement speed killerThe_Crusader said:
What is this double stun everyone speaks of?Avariku said:they need to fix the double stun, hopefully fix how far he vaults, and make the timer continue during mend.
those three fixes would make him a lot more viable from what I've seen, hopefully without making him OP.
Are you hitting the same person twice in frenzy? Because once you hit them once you need to manually cancel frenzy with M2 rather than hitting them a second time. This way you get 1 stun and they don't get a speed boost from the hit.
It's like chasing with a Hag in an area without traps
Or not reloading your hatchets as Huntress
It's a lose lose situation really
You're better of hitting them twice so you get more emblem points that way
I think anyway -
Except people have found out that you don't need to heal at allOooooof said:The new killer is good against toxic loopers, but his not OP. They want to slow the game down and thats what the new killer do with his power because they need to Mend and then heal.
Taking away any pressure Legion could put on survivors

Depents if the Entity joins the fray
Most if not all killers are just buffed up humans -
I agree that most people go a bit overboard with the buff they would give Legionpowerbats said:@Sonzaishinai said:

Feedback are supposed to be constructive. Some people are posting realy dumb "changes" about The Legion because they want make everything more easy for them, and that's pissing me off. Today's Dead by daylight players want everything on their easy way. That's all lul. I'm just tilted.
Most people are constructivly saying The Legion needs tweaking and offering suggestions how to do so
Do you think they are wrong?
Have you looked at the majority of the threads especially the ones right after launch, I'd not call those constructive at all.
But you can't deny that Legion is horribly underperforming -

I would almost call this a buff to BBQ tbh
I prefer a survivor hiding in a locker to a survivor hiding behind a gen working on it
-
Let's look at the other slow killersCoriander said:You realize he can still down Survivors, right? His power only works while active. He can still attack normally. You don't have to activate the power every time you see someone, indeed it works on a meter so you won't always have it. You can just attack.
Hag, Spirit, Huntress, Nurse
All these killers have 1 thing in common
You never chase without your power
You might say it's only 5% slower but if you work out the numbers
Survivor: 4 m/s
115%: 4.6 m/s
110%: 4.4 m/s
Wich means standert killers gain ground at 0.6 m/s and slow killers at 0.4 m/s
That's 33% slower
And that's in a straight line
The difference in hitboxes loopers use amplifies this even more
For slow killers chasing without your power is not an option -
The problem is that Legion can't apply pressure at all
You can injure people easilly but injured is the same as uninjured for his power
If the survivors realise this they will stop healing and any pressure from being injured is gone
They don't need much though
Their power should just be a bit more lethal
A slow killer needs his power to down survivors and in this state it takes ages to do so -
Freddy is a lot better then most people give him credit
Definitly not worst killer in the game anymore in my eyes
Not saying that he's good ofcourse
Just not as bad as people are sayingJust hope he keeps that juggling feeling to his playstyle

Tunneling and gen rushing are one and the same thing
Getting the objective done as fast and efficient as possibleGen rushing can be combated by putting pressure on the survivors
Tunneling can be combatted by taking a hit for a fellow playerWrong. Tunneling is playing efficient. Gen rush is just bad game design.
Gens are done way to fast. If the survivor play well, the killer can't do crap about it.
If a survivor is a decent runner a single hit takes 30-40 seconds, so 2 hits plus carry to a hook is about the time it takes to do a gen ALONE without any toolbox or great checks.
If the survivor spread out and do gens all on their own, that's 3 gens done on the first hook.
The problem about gen rush is that the Devs choose to balance the game for low rank/low skill survivor, that mess around and can't "walk the killer" and can't do great skillchecks.
Every other game is balanced top down instead of bottom up.I'm not saying it's balanced or not
Just saying it's the same thing
Rushing the gens is doing the objective fast and efficientwether this is balanced or not was not my point

I think they could get a werewolf like thing going with Vigo
Where he can inject himself and become powered up for a while
Not really a wolf but a transformation that makes him stronger nonetheless -
I know i would take every single one i see
