I agree it's still a bit wonky
Killers with instadowns and trapper getting punished for playing the way they are meant to play is sad
-
With the tome challenges keys are pretty common now actually
I think there is a challenge with a key?
Not sure though

What if the map is Haddonfield, The Game, or another map with only one possible basement spawn?
Spawns a basement in the basement

I want no mither to give bonus bloodpoints
I like the idea of hard mode but it should reward people for doing it

Well they are all the same game why should it matter what group I join. Just don't understand why they still add all this ######### for killers but dont add anything beneficial for survivors. They only have perks on there. They haven't added anything good for us, but for the killers they are just making it easier for them to win.
You do realise the last couple of patches have been a ton of killer nerfs right?
-
I would love the oblivious also being aplied to DW, would make mending a lot more excitting too
No longer is it pauze your game for 12 sec while in full safety, but 12 sec of franticly looking around if Legion isn't coming
I had a simular idea, but let Legion put survivors in the dying state if they are able to hit them twice without deepwounds in the same frenzy, that punishes survivors who instantly stop and mend when Legion changes targets
But put it on an addon, like frank's mix tape or stab studies

Very thematically appropriate to the character, when you think about it.
You would almost think it was intended

But then keys still have power while moris do not...not a fair change
Strange i was expecting the argument the other way around
Mori's would still counter DS, flashlight saves, bodyblocking, it would save you a hook that doesn't get destroyed and save you precious seconds of not carrying a survivor to a hook
While keys would litterly only be usefull after the killer closes the hatch, or the exit gates are open and you bassicly escaped anyway

Eeeh DbD has it's problems but it is the best game in it's genre tbh
Honestly all others that tried this kinda fell flat on their butt
I hope Last Year will do well though, that spider look neat

by the time you find and injure all 4 survivors you've probably lost a gen or two.. hit someone 2 times and get a 25% regression w/Pop or find everyone and make 4 hits for 16%, which 1 or 2 people can heal themselves by the time you catch and down the 4th person. It's a placebo perk
It depends on the killer tbh
Killers who can injure people easilly like stealth killer or Legion/Plague can really make thana work imo
Also people who see that red bar also have the instinct to heal wich only makes it waste more time
Since the buff it's a lot stronger
-
I hate the new map
It looks amazing and the statues looking at you is really creepy but god i can't see anything
Survivors can lose me just be running in a straight line
I have the same problem with the other japanese map
Something about those maps just makes my eyes go blurry
-
She only collides with non-living material?
Lol idk
-
Can only agree with this
DC's are the worst
-
While games can end waay to fast sometimes, i don't think we should touch the gen speed, once the killer gets momentum gens tend to just grind to a halt
I think the end game needs to be longer, something between finishing the gens and opening the gates, preferably something that isn't hold m1
-
People want shirtless Myers what do we do?
Devs: ... let's make a pantless one

Please tell me why everytime I run pounders tier 3 btw and I get a brown med kit or a damn brown toolbox
When the game decides that it wants to mess with you : p
-
As someone that likes to try stuff out
Seeing all these underrated perks and their uses makes me want to experiment
-
I would like to see FF hits give oblivious as wel as deep wounds
Would make mending a lot more excitting at the least
And now that sprinting and mending stops the deep wounds timer there is no real reason for it to be so long
I would change it to 2-3 sec but let it reset when you start sprinting or mending again
That way it's something extra the survivors have to think of during chases and might allow them to make mistakes
-
While i do enjoy playing as them they do need a little help
I'm sure the devs will look at them again though

No patch today, no, that would be too risky before the holidays. There won't be any riots either, we can all voice our concerns in a civil way.
Not even a little riot?

Whispers is more usefull overall but deerstalker is stronger when you put it in a specifik slugging build IMO
I personly never really cared for whispers I always felt that it's only usefull at the start of the match and when you have already won
I prefer discordance over whispers honestly
Also a bit of an odd comparisson, other then that they are both tracking perks they are intended for 2 completly different things right?
-
I want an offering for killers that gives survivors 100% more bloodpoints
And for survivors that gives killers 100% more bloodpoints
It's the season of giving after all
-
I haven't got to that challenge yet but it does happen from time to time i get a safe unhook during EGC
But i'm feeling it's one of those things that the second you select the chalenge it never happens anymore : P

The tell I feel is pretty obvious. Once you see someone go down from healthy once, you know she's using it. Ideally you don't want to get hit by a hatchet even if she's not using it, so it's not really a "too little too late" situation.
Anyway, I'd be totally okay with that personally. The most interesting idea I've heard was to make long range hatchets (>24m or 32m) instantly down people. That way it stays powerful, but requires a lot more skill to use and has way more counterplay. What do y'all have in mind?
Making it only one-shot when fully charged is also a way to go
I like the range idea but i think it will be kinda awkward that the counter to this would be to run towards the huntress when she charges a hatchet
-
The only chance the hag needs is that there needs to be a tooltip for new survivors that they can crouch the traps
That's all
-
I love alert and the new kindred is a godsent
On killer agitation is great, especially when you get that hit against a survivor that didn't expect you to go that fast when trying to bodyblock
And something about bloodhound just feels good too
-

I always try to play some matches without it cause relying on it is a bad habbit
But yes it is an incredibilly strong perk, especially against survivors that can't deal with it
-
Ruin already is powerfull enough as it is
Don't forget that new players have to play against this too
Making gens longer would just make the boring side of survivor even more boring
IMO they should just make the end game longer, something between the gens getting finished and the gates opening
Something like instead of opening them manually the gates open after a fixed time
Or 3 colered chest apear on the map that contains a fuse to allow you to open the gate
Something like that
-
I wouldn't really call the survivors the power role anymore
You can't 1v1 a killer anymore like you use to be able to
1v1 of an equally skiller survivor and killer will always end up with the survivor on the hook
Rank 1 4 man swf with coms are so powerfull cause they make the aspect of strengt in numbers reach new limits by communication
Calling them the power roll is not really right
-
While this sounds cool and all and would be fun to play with it's waaay to much work to implent
We might see this on a new killer but they are not going to completly design a new killer just to fix the Legion sadly
Any changes that will have to happen will have to be relativly small
-
Try playing without ruin for the next 10-20 matches
Run another slowdown perk like pop or something
After you get used to that you can go back to ruin, but it won't feel as nececary anymore
-
Make that when he charges his chainsaw all the way he moves at 230% movement speed but make turning harder
To compensate make it so his chainsaw can only down one survivor at a time
Boom instant top tier

Honestly, in the last few weeks SWF on comms has been more beneficial than detrimental. It means a rank 1 survivor is bringing in some rank 15's with them most of the time, which means super easy devour / pop goes / STBFL / etc / procs. There's only a few full red rank survivor SWFs that I see and I know to bring in a mori against them by now.
Sorry should have specified rank 1 swf with coms
So yeah, most of the matches most killers can work
-
Well tbh when people talk about viable killers they mean the ones who can deal with swf with coms
Take that out and suddenly a lot more killers become viable
-
I have 600ish hours and never reach red ranks don't worry about it
Most of the time red ranks just mean you play the game a lot
Me with my one or 2 killer games a day would have had to have a godlike month to reach rank 1, and i'm just not that good : P
I'll probably reach it eventually with the new rank reset though
-
Killer will probably always be stressful, because they are always on a timelimit
They constantly need to move
Killer becomes chill if you clearly see you've won
That really shouldn't become the standert
-
I hope they tweak it a bit further yeah
The fact that trapper and oneshot killers bassicly get punished for playing correctly is somewhat silly
-

Hmm I wouldn’t call David evil but he definitely does have some negative personality traits like anger issues and aggression. I think his positive traits balance him out though like his protective nature towards his friends and never giving up.
Yeah as i said, of he were playing in a movie i'd sooner see him as a protaganist then an antagonist
-
Give it to me pls
-
Might want to add that Tru3 and Otz are players that play thia game for a living
You can't really compere them to the avarage player
-
Well for me it's without a doubt killer
But that doesn't have to do with balance tbh
Killer is constant work between looking chasing and hooking survivors, you never stand still
While survivor when you're on a gen and you don't hear a heartbeat you know you're safe for the moment and when you are on a hook all youcan do is wait
There's just a lot more breathing room
Doesn't really make one side easier or more difficult to play
-
This is the most creative way to ask for the Stab Wounds Study and Frank's Mixtape to be reworked i have ever seen

But then you are definitely not the target, the rift is designed around. I think 1-2 hours a day is the whole player base average. Would be also bad if people like me or streamers finish the rift in 10 days or each level within one day and then sit there waiting for new stuff.
As it is just about cosmetics, I think it should be ok that not everyone finishes the rift
Yeah i know i'm not complaining
I do hope i can do most of the challenges for those juicy juicy bloodpoints
-
I barelly play an hour a day so i'm pretty much screwed D:

Maybe one day, if we get another Yamaoka-chapter, you can play with Rin's dad as survivor. It probably will not get worse than that. 😅

Indeed. Question though. Do you envisage an evil survivor doing evil things to the other survivors or is it just a skin?
Just a skin honestly
Their perks could be more selfishly orientated, but not harmfull to teammates if that what you mean
