Just be aware of your surroundings. Sometimes you will have to put yourself in unfavorable (but not impossible) situations.

That cat looks a lot like one of mine.

Oni without a doubt. Nemesis is very bad at his job. How manny times did he fail to kill Jill and Carlos? If anything the dumb zombies and the Gamas and Betas were far more dangerous to face than Nemesis. Even after few Mutations Nemesis fails. As far as we know ONi has far more confirmed kills.
Why should he care about Carlos? Umbrella wasn’t his target, STARS members were. He even runs away from him while mutated just to finish off Jill in the original. Who cares if the UBCS soldier who’s shooting at him lives, that’s not who’s programmed to kill.
As for Jill, he just figured out he could toy with her and did it for too long. There’s several moments in both the original and remake that support him being sadistic while chasing her. Brad in the original was also bruised and limping to Jill before Nemesis finished him off. I don’t think he’ll act like that against Oni since he’s a much stronger opponent than Jill.
-
This is tough considering both are nearly unstoppable killing machines. Does Nemesis have access to his mutations from RE?
-
Because the devs only playtested this against bad Survivors. They've said he's going to stay like this unfortunately.

There's nemesis. Just let them get a stun on you and they will become the new obsession. That's up to 4 out of 5 done in one game
Sounds good until Survivors suddenly figure out what you're trying to do and then do everything possible to stop you from getting it even if it means their death. I speak from experience doing the ten Obsession kills challenge in an earlier tome. ######### that thing.
-
You know what's going to happen if the devs take notice and agree with this experiment?
They're going to look at their upcoming Killers, see which ones are still having their perks created, and make one based off this data.
-
Nemesis disembowels Plague.

I actually tried this with different games on my old phone years ago but they never worked. They’d want me to download apps (usually other games or news apps) but even then it wouldn’t work. These people just want money and to put a virus on your device. Nothing really happened but it’s still a waste of time and a huge risk.

IIRC you can't mend until you snap out of it. It used to be brutal with old Lullaby and T3 madness, but I'm not sure if Mend/Madness interact this way anymore.
@Crowman said:
Deep Wound timer goes down while you are snapping out of it. It takes 12 seconds to snap out of it so you have 8 seconds.before you'll go down.
Alternatively another survivor can mend you.
Thanks for the replies but I figured it out and this is almost three years old now.

I pretty much expect new features to launch with bugs.

I had faith in the SBMM system. BHVR said it worked perfectly. Fact is it doesn't work at all.
1st game as survivor : Terrible killer, hold him in chase like 2 to 3 minutes. Other survivors ? They didn't do anything, they felt down in 10 seconds. Game lost.
2nd game : killer was a camper/tunneler. Survivors ? They ended up all three on the hook at the same time cause they all died in less than 20 seconds around the 1st hooked guy. Could hold the killer 1 minute even though i had never played against the Pinhead, which has a trash design btw. Too much map control without skill required and of course framerate drops all the way with a high end computer.
Didn't they have prior datas to launch SBMM ? I mean i'm 1200+ hours in survivor, can hold a long time most killer mains in chases... Well no way it is working.
That's your first mistake. Trusting that BHVR would launch a new feature and have it work perfectly. That's a pretty rare sight for DBD.
-
I can't believe they'd remove something that was just being used for unfair advantages and bullying Killers! Don't they know how important it is to bully Killers in this game?
-
Which means nothing now that matchmaking isn't linked to grades. I think the only thing it affects now is how hard the Adept Killers are. You can't derank to make the requirements easier and have to wait until the next season begins.
-
Insta-DC on Haddonfield it is then.
-
It'll still be here, you just have to take a picture of your rank to prove it.
-
Yes and no.
Yes because I'll actually get matched with players my skill level. It's harder to do that with ranks because how easy it is to rank 1. I've had Survivors with only 200 hours make it to rank 1. That's not a fair matchup for someone who's got 1100 hours. It also means that I shouldn't have to worry about getting bad teammates in solo or super sweaty Survivors as Killer. I think high level DBD is ######### boring (holding one or two buttons or being forced to play only two, maybe three Killers the same way is not fun to me).
No because it's BHVR and the chances of something going wrong are really high. I wouldn't be surprised if the system doesn't work properly for the first few days.
-
Yeah, you're absolutely right. Wraith cannot be anything more than a punching bag. It's illegal for him to be better than that.
-
@Mandy said:
I have the answer - rank achievements will still remain. The wording on them will be changed though to show Grade not Rank.
How will the Adept Killers change? The pip requirements changing at different rank colors made them harder as you reached higher ranks. Will they just change as you reach a new grade color or is there a new system for them?
-
No, it runs almost perfectly on PS5.
-
That’s just the Emblem system being a horribly designed piece of crap.
-
You can either buy Clown (he’ll always have it unlocked in his inventory) or keep grinding for it. It’s an easy challenge. I would like to see how the devs create Archive challenges because there’s been challenges in the past that have been complete BS.
@SeannyD115 said:
For this archive the only challenge I had to farm was the one where you have to give a survivor the antidote while intoxicated. For some reason survivors would just avoid the antidote.
They’re either guessing that you want to do the challenge or just don’t know what the antidote does. Sometimes it really seems like players have a sixth sense when you’re going for a challenge or an achievement and will do everything in their power to stop you from getting it even if it means their defeat. I’ve let Survivors run me around at the end of the game for the kill 10 Obsessions challenge only to have them completely ignore pallets, seen them get off gens (and stay off them until I kick it or find the Survivor) right after I hook someone even though I’m on the other side of the map for the gen grab achievement, and have offered the Killer free hits in exchange for a stun during stun challenges only to have them leave me (they aren’t even trying to guess if it’s a trick or not). None of them were new enough to genuinely not know what the Tome was either.
-
Nemesis's original Stage 2.
-
The fact that last gen consoles still have optimization issues.
The devs not wanting to let us test Nemesis without the contamination speed boost. With so many people agreeing that it needs some kind of change, why not at least let us test it? Maybe we see something that you guys haven't.
When transferring from PS4 to PS5, the only trophies that automatically pop are the prestige ones. How does that work? I thought everything was stored on the servers, so why the hell does the game not recognize that I've already done a lot of the trophies and give them to me? The devs said they couldn't do it at the time due to technological reasons, but then why do the prestige trophies autopop? It doesn't even pop the ones for reaching levels 10 and 25 and getting a perk to tier 3. Does it just stop after looking at the prestige trophies? Are they the only ones eligible for transfer to the next generation? Is that not the case and the devs just didn't want to tell us the real reason? A lot of these trophies are a nightmare to get (and not in the fun way).
-
Yeah, they got bigger when Nemesis dropped. Devs haven’t said anything about it for some reason.
-
It does but the servers can screw him over badly even if you time it right. He needs a shock validation (if that’s what you’d call it) so your shock actually works when you time it right. The only problem with this is that you’d get a lot more “Doctor OP” complaints from bad Survivors.

Dude, it's not even that long! It's literally less than half a second! Like who designed this and thought this was fine and made sense?

He had to have had his power completely revamped halfway through development or something and this is just a leftover from that.
-
I don't understand why they won't let us test it ourselves. If they're that convinced the community is wrong, then prove it. At worst we'll have an overpowered Killer in the game for a couple of weeks. Did the launches of old Freddy and old Legion scare the devs that badly to where they’re giving BS restrictions to Killers and not allowing us to test them without those restrictions?
-
I would think they'd be fine with bug fixes and balancing.
-
Nemesis by a long shot.
-
Well, see you later then.
-
While it would be really unfortunate to lose Michael and Laurie, it would also mean the removal of the hell known as Haddonfield, which would be one of the greatest changes in the history of DBD. ######### that map.
-
Not yet. Currently I'm avoiding store purchases but since these are all going to be removed permanently, I'm going to get all of the Stranger Things cosmetics when they're on sale. Right now I'll get Demo's two remaining outfits and Steve's Scoops Ahoy outfit and then use my next paycheck for all the remaining ST cosmetics.
-
That's exactly what I was thinking. These three just escaped the Entity's realm. I wonder how (or if) this will be incorporated into the lore. Obviously they won't mention any names, but will they bring up that two Survivors and a Killer have suddenly vanished?
-
Nope, I quite like Hawkins.
-
We're just tired of seeing 8 trillion threads on it and the behavior of some of its fanbase.

Oh hell yeah I am! My boy Nemesis made it and quickly became one of my mains. I remember seeing his tentacle in the trailer while I was at work and trying to keep calm because my hype levels went through the roof. I also loved that we got Jill and RE4 Leon.
-
10? I don’t remember, I haven’t played recently.

This challenge in a nutshell:
"Hey you know that thing you're supposed to do with your power? Make it easier to kill Survivors? Don't do that. In fact do the opposite. Help the Survivors escape."

I don't think they will ever merge them now. If they did that they would have to take earned trophies away from players.
I would think the devs could tell the system not to do that. Just keep both lists and have the game compare them and only give you the trophies you haven't earned on PS5 but already have on PS4 and not take any away. They could even have trophies transfer both ways too like Assassin's Creed Valhalla. The Prestige trophies already transfer both ways (I got Nemesis to P3 50 on PS5 version and then both trophies popped the moment I opened the PS4 version), so why can't the rest? I would think they've got something to get the game to recognize that the requirements for every other trophy have already been met.
-
I asked this question a while ago and the devs answered it live, and they said that they couldn't at the time due to technical limitations but they aren't ruling it out for good.
Hopefully someone will come in and say that their situation has changed and they can let them transfer, because I really don't want to have to do some of these trophies over again. On PS4 I'm three trophies away from the platinum, have every Killer Adept up until Oni (plus PH), every Survivor Adept until Elodie (I had already switched to PS5), and a bunch of other trophies. I'm getting back to where I was on PS5 but like I said before, I'd prefer not to have to go and redo some of these trophies because they were a pain in the ass.
-
Either Binding of Kin or Ghostface. Binding of Kin destroyed the game and Ghostface is too inconsistent.
-
Bye-bye then.
-
I agree, but I hope you’re ready for the replies. This is going to piss some people off.
-
Yes, as the game will end. It might not be fun to the Survivors, but they will eventually die to the EGC and get to move on to another game.
-
No, it’s strong but not too strong. You can counter it by being aware and having an escape route.
Also two games isn’t enough time to judge whether something is OP or not.
-
I'm going to guess you weren't paying attention when the Rift was first announced.

Who cares, it's just an item.

Doctor, Nemesis, and Wraith.
