Huntress needs skill. Now Freddy or Bubba? Lmao THEY carry killers. Her hitboxes are ######### but you can loop her for days once she's out of hatchets. Only thing broken is the hitbox and that ir head. Other than that if you're getting bodied it's because you suck or the person playing her is actually good.
Sometimes you have to admit you suck. Either get better and learn or shut up and play casually.
I can agree about Freddy and Bubba. Bubba was really buffed too much and with a lack of pallets he really is too easy to play now. Maybe I do suck but whenever I see a Huntress everybody apparently sucks. Nobody lasts longer than a few seconds. And when does a Huntress run out of hatchets? Sometimes I get lucky enough to manage to juke the horrible hitboxes for 4 hatchets and then the last one hits me. She's really too forgiving for mistakes.
-
@Kirkylad said:
Well I've heard it all now lol. Huntress is only OP with iri hatchets, otherwise she's one of the most balanced killers in the game.
If Huntress is balanced right now, I would hate seeing something you would deem unbalanced. Iri-Heads is just icing on the cake.
-
@Dwight_Fairfield said:
If you were talking about Freddy or Stridor Spirit I would completely agree with you. Huntress actually takes skill and is fairly balanced. The only annoying thing about her is her hatchet hit boxes.
I don't think so, the hitboxes are so bad there is no skill needed. You don't even need good aim and is still awarded with kills and wins. This is why there is so many Huntresses.. BHVR should completely disable the killer until she is balanced out. They quickly disable maps when there is game breaking bugs or balance issues.
-
Thank you for posting this, that is every game against Huntress! This killer is hardly trying and they are going down, nothing they can do.
-
@MadLordJack said:
Huh. Well that was... Hopefully a joke? I think?
Huntress as a crutch killer. Now that's a new one.
Not joking... Huntress is carrying killers. Too overpowered and broken, there is no counterplay to the massive unpredictable hitboxes.
-
The entity feeds on hope. You didn't play with your victims.
-
Survivors need way more. Too much is expected from all 4. All it takes is one mistake against a killer and it can be all over. Killers have perks that make their game infinitely easier while survivors are punished. Maps are usually so small and devoid of loops that it's common someone is dead 10 secs into a match. Killer is definitely easier.
-
Killer has been buffed so much it is too easy for sure. The thing is 4K is actually the norm. Watch any killer main and they'll 4K like every game. Then complain about borrowed time or DS while getting a 4K.
A 4K should be a rarity, not common.

I'd like to hear @Sluzzy 's take on this.
Well, to be fair, if Laurie has been nerfed into the ground so should Michael!!
Seriously, there's not enough Daddy Myers. Everyone thinks they need an unfair advantage with Freddy when Michael can easily get it done. He definitely needs no buffs for sure! His addons might be the best in the entire game, ability to actually kill a healthy survivor? Normally I would say that is completely overpowered but with Myers I make an exception :)
Anyone saying his tier 1 needs buffing, look his tier 3 please, a 1-shot with a gigantic reach! He needs a slower start to balance out his 1-shot! And Oni has a slow start too for a reason.

What rank are you?
Red ranks. All four survivors can be rank 1 and its still the same outcome. Does it matter with ranks? For killer, occasionally you might get a rank 10 killer without good perks and its a little more laid back but its rare.
-
If you think that is bad, switch to survivor and witness the bloodbaths. Most killers are able to kill everyone before a gen is completed. Freddy especially. It's not bad for killer, you need to apply pressure a bit better.
-
It's unhealthy for so many reasons to list. Less will use decisive strike because it feels like a handicap to use it so killers will get a free pass to tunnel. Those that have it equipped will feel restrained and not doing objectives so killers will win even more games more easily. For the Claudette that thinks she is safe or tries to heal, the killer gets a free pass to tunnel again. And killers can still avoid it by slugging when they do tunnel. The devs asked killers what they wanted DS to be from its former self and they put it in the game the way killers wanted it. It should have been buffed instead of nerfed.
-
Survivors nerfed tremendously and Huntress has never been touched. Billy was only broken because of a very problematic perk, BBQ. He can spam the saw and chase the auras. Huntress is overpowered now, no counterplay on many maps and her hitboxes are broken. She definitely needs more cooldowns and add-ons all nerfed.

Its posts like this that make me hate the community of survivors.
This will catch on and people will continue until it is changed because that is the survivor community as a whole. Easy made needed or they riot... more like cry until it is changed.
But yeah.. go ahead. Makeva post about how killer perks are "hard" and pay to win. There are plenty of counters to it. Learn to play or uninstall and complain about another game.
What you said was exactly what killers do. Killers have the ez mode and survivors are still getting nerfed. Survivors getting junk perks and some nerfed unjustly and killers get new meta perks every update. It's the killers that are spreading rumors about quitting unless they get "their way".

Well, if red rank survivors have taught me anything, it's that 95% of them are complete garbage, and the rest play with friends who are competent. If you apply that logic to forums, then 95% of the people who post in a place like this are, equally, as dumb. I would say they're trolling but when you have over 1k posts on forums, and you believe a perk like BBQ with a ton of counters and is overall healthy for the game, is OP, then I can't help but feel sorry for them
They seem like garbage because killer is ez in comparison. Just put on some slowgen perks, BBQ, tinkerer, and suddenly any killer looks good and any survivors look bad. You said it right, they have to play in a SWF to have a chance at all at winning.

People are always gonna argue about what sides better/more OP, which is why people need to start playing both sides, it's literally the most healthy option for this game lmao.
I main Hag as killer and I win about 95% of all my matches, even against a mediocre SWF. But as someone who has more hours as survivor than killer it's quite noticeable how often killers win matches compared to survivors.
And no worries, constructive conversations are way better than all out wars between sides lol.
It's because killers are way overpowered in so many ways. 95% seems about right actually. Killer mains denying it is said so much the devs actually believe it. Game is almost in an unplayable state as survivor unless losing is enjoyable.
-
Then face-campers and tunnelers should also be banned. Being stealthy is part of the game you know. There is so few pallets now that if they are new they better be hiding.
-
@lordgotch said:
I love how survivors cry about bbq and chili being op. The MAIN reason why killers run this perk is for bonus BP. We really don't care about the aura reading and it can be easily be countered by hiding in a locker. Duh??
So quit whining when there so many survivor perks that are stronger.. IE sprint burst, spine chill, dead hard, iron will etc
The BP is an excuse. The auras are too much information and on a killer like Freddy that can teleport to the gen being worked on and stop it, remove objective progress, it is too strong for a perk. About the time he hooks that person, he can teleport again. Same for the other killers too. An Oni that is so versatile with his power movement can hook someone and go across the entire map within a couple of seconds and down someone he saw working on the objective. No survivor perk has so many advantages. If they do, they either have too many downsides or too situational to ever be used. BBQ has no downsides, just play the game normally to reap in a lot of benefits.

Gonna take the bait and say that no one has ever complained about Balanced Landing
That is not true, killers always complained about balanced landing on Haddonfield. So it was hardly average on most maps but it still got nerfed hard.

You can't nerf perks because it's stong on one killer. Pop is too strong on freddy to. Oh so is tinkerer, disco, hell I'll tear your arms off using gearhead with fred (ive done it) lets nerf gearhead Oh wait forgot they did. Still stong on fred lets nerf again. Not good argument.
Why not? Look at balanced landing. It wasn't all that great most of the time, it happened to be a little better on one certain map, killers moaned and about it and the devs took care of it promptly. This kind of balancing should apply to BBQ too if they should be consistent. Too OP on fast killers. Tinkerer is also too strong.

Yea location reveal is nothing xD I love how for killers all their perks are mediocre, what do you even consider good? I wonder If bbq additional blood points would be added instead to some weak perk, spoiler alert, it wouldn't be played
That is a good point. If double-bp was on a weaker perk they wouldn't use it, because they would use puddings if they wanted double-bp. It's an excuse because the aura reveal is game changing. If a survivor perk was this powerful it would have already had the nerf hammer, probably multiple times.

How is that needed? Should killers see survivors auras when they use kindred? But hey sure thing buddy, nerf bbq, but don't come crying about how killers camp....
Killers still do camp even with BBQ. And that is what is very bad about the perk, they are rewarded for camping (getting more stacks). But my main issue is that it is too strong for a high mobility killer. It's too OP on Freddy.
-
@fogdonkey said:
I have no problem playing against a killer with bbq. Try using Kindred, then you see in which direction is the killer walking after a hook.
I also like bbq when playing as killer and I am highly against making it a hex perk.
The aura is still shown to the killer. Too much advantage for one perk as auras are shown throughout the entire match.
@WishIcouldmain said:
I disagree BBQS aura can't be utilized by most killers. And has various counters.
1. Get in a locker
2. Get behind a gen
3. Be within 40 meters
4. Walk one way 4 seconds then the other way
Those were the Non perk counters which means you don't need a special perk to counter BBQ.
That would be constantly avoiding objective to workaround a perk. Way too much. Like I said, a good killer you don't have time to do those things, that's too much advantage for having BBQ equipped, nothing else compares to it. This perk needs balanced with good killers in mind, but also not rewarding bad killers that camps.
While it is not as strong for some killers, it is extremely overpowered on killers like Freddy for sure, Oni, Billy, Spirit, Nurse, Blight, Huntress.
-
@Retromind said:
Easily countered by being near the killer or hiding in the locker. Killers use this perk for the bonus BPs most of the time than anything else. NEXT.
Those are not fair counters. As it seems very easy to hook survivors, leaving gens and running towards the hook every time or looking for a locker every time means objective is not getting done. If killer has Ruin then progress is actually lost. The double bp is an excuse for it.
-
@TicTac said:
Sluzzy, are you serious? A hex perk?
I'm very serious. HEX would be a really good change
-
You aren't supposed to win every game.
Have you ever thought that if just maybe if you stop demanding for nerfs you wouldn't see so many try hard SWF teams? It's the only way to possibly win because as you said it...your matches are ending because of the hatch. If the game was fair, many of your games the gates should be opened solos or SWF, not the hatch.
I also doubt you see a SWF every match unless you are not as good as you think.
-
If a killer requires a perk to play against them, they are inherently broken.
-
NOED is one of many overpowered killer perks that is nowhere close to DS. It would be similar to the original DS where there is no obsession and killer is hit with it out of the blue! Killer mains love to compare it but there's perks littered everywhere available for killers to bypass health states all the time.
Killers can slug or wait for surv to do an objective or heal and totally bypass the perk. The counter to NOED is nowhere close to as convenient as the counter to DS. Expecting to find 5 totems when it's almost impossible to power 5 gens and then still proc because of not finding 5 totems on Lerys is atrocious. It needs nerfed.
-
Overperforming is a huge understatement. With the hatch available, he kills a mind-blowing 3 out of 4 every game at red ranks. The gates are almost never done.
Heavy nerfs desperately needed, he should really lose the teleporting to gens because it's unfair, no sleeping on a very short timer. Setting snares should slow him down to do it. He is the only killer with no cooldowns, it's like a bug they conveniently refused to fix to give him an unfair advantage.
-
You are in for a rough time. You should have not reinstalled.
-
You are at a huge disadvantage. This is why BBQ should be nerfed. This was actually a very normal example, or quite frankly most common way a match is against a Blight or any fast killer for that matter. It's an unfair advantage against the majority and the devs have set blatant double-standards with their balancing. Things on survivors are always nerfed when it seems hard for killers but when it is hard for survivors a deaf ear is given and now you have a huge imbalance in these matches. It needs to lose the aura reading completely to make it fair.
-
The devs can't make brains. Every killer released is actually overpowered when played well. Combine them with perks and you've got mostly an easy game.
-
Survivors: Tunneling and camping is not fun and is a problem.
Devs: Lets nerf DS to discourage its use.

Hahaha, survivors don't have crutch perks?
Also killer is balanced around solo survivors, not swf.
Unless your a god nurse ( don't worry, ima put in the time to do that just so I can ######### on these people).
Other killers can't really compare to swf.
Also are you forgetting undying nerf, Mori nerf, PGTW nerf and ruin nerf.
You obviously don't play an killer, my advice is to play both and therefore can see either side.
Most people have to slug and tunnel against good swf.
If you want tunneling to be a necessity then that's ok, you can deal with it in all your matches.
There is no set of perks a survivor can equip and significantly improve the chances of winning like killer can. Everything worth a damn on the survivor side is extremely situational, 1-time use with a long laundry list of preconditions tailored for killers. Even the Deliverance perk requires you to unhook someone first. What if you are the first found? It's a dead perk. Dead hard hasn't worked in over a year. Killers can clearly hit you during the animation, distance can't be properly judged due to dedicated servers. Even with the new patch, killers can still swing through a downed pallet. Solos don't have a leg to stand on.
-
In the state the game is now, all the killer crutches provided and neverending survivor nerfs and map nerfs, if you are still struggling against SWF I have only two specific words: Git Gud.
The most hilarious part is killers don't even need to git gud. Devs will nerf survivors more and give killers more crutches. I can't wait to see how OP the next killer is with another new meta game changing killer perk and the survivors have more garbage perks.
Yeah, just git gud.
-
Nope and it will never be enough. Not even consistently winning (4Ks) is good enough. I've seen killer mains literally complain about DS while running stridor Spirit, Ruin and Undying and getting a 4K with 4 or 5 gens still up. Things are only considered "abuse" when survivors use it.
Meanwhile, Iri-Heads have been in the game for 4 years. It's not abuse to use Huntress, it is just skill.
-
Yes, the game wasn't easy enough for killers so they talked about nerfing DS so survivors can't do anything useful,....to help their team or anything. Bad killers can still keep all their perks like NOED to make their game easier.
-
I see killers win all the time on the new Gideon. It was a death bed before and killers enjoyed very easy wins on the old map. I've played on the map a few times and it is an exaggeration to say it has too many pallets. I still see a lot of spaces with no pallets and the games I played in killers were downing people in a matter of seconds. The pallets are also not obvious so it takes memorization from the survivor player to even know where pallets are located. I also saw several "dead ends" where if the killer didn't break the walls the survivor is trapped after dropping a pallet. If you are injured or facing a chainsaw killer it is game over simply because of a killer favored map design.

They've become so accustomed to things that are way too strong that it seems normal to them.
Less people agree with it because you only really see how busted it can be with good players and most players on average are pretty bad. It's a similar situation with people being able to see how unbalanced the game is.
Killers even moreso. So accustomed to OP killers like Spirit, Freddy, or Huntress that these seem normal. Even excessive perks like Ruin and Undying seem normal to killers. Or a perk like BBQ.
-
Both are hardcore killer mains, and hardly ever lose as killer. Nothing much else to say. Good streamers though.
-
All of them. If the killer knows what they are doing, all maps are killer sided. Most killers don't know how to mind game. Maps have been heavy nerfed for new killers to play against so now most maps are too killer sided with deadzones, not enough pallets on some.
The new Ormond has nothing but unsafe pallets.
-
We can have a serious talk about it, fix it so it works. A killer shouldn't hit you during the animation. It is supposed to give you invulnerability status and it doesn't because of dedicated servers.
The perk doesn't work and needs to be fixed.
-
If survs do not do gens as quickly as possible, the killer will killrush by slugging everyone. It's that simple. It's not fun either to see the entire team slugged with 5 gens up and that happens more than the other way.
-
Why should keys be nerfed when its possible for killer to hold the game hostage with 3 gens?
-

Really? Hiding behind a gen still hides the Aura. Why'd you think it didn't?
They changed that to buff killers, because I am certain when they changed auras a while back you can't hide.

You can't go behind a generator? Walk one way four seconds then the other way? Bewithin 40 meters of the hooked person?
I didn't think hiding behind a gen worked anymore?
If you have to run within 40 meters every time you'd never get gens done. So either way is a positive for killer.

Maps? You make me laugh in Groaning Storehouse, Badham Preschool, Gas Heaven, Ormond, and the Game. Tinkerer yeah it's annoying but doesn't DS punish a killer for it's objective? BBQ has 4 counters how can you not do one of them? Devour Hope requires work and normally you'll have plenty of time to find the totem before the mori. The suggesting Rancor is OP pretty sad. Noed however is pretty dull like Freddy so it can get changed.
The counters to BBQ are not reasonable because you have to stop working on the objective and there's not always a locker nearby. It would be like DS when it was first released. DS is practically nothing compared to Tinkerer. A perk totally controlled by the killer and now will punish survivor for doing the objective. A perk that deactivates for touching a gen. And Tinkerer rewards killer for survivor doing the main objective.
-
Aura perks, slowgen perks, Tinkerer, tracking perks. 1-shot perks (Devour, Rancor, NOED).
Game is way too easy for killer. Most maps are designed so stealth is not emphasized. All of these perks are unnecessary when stealth is not even encouraged by the devs. They've made all maps bright when deadzones everywhere. Tinkerer punishes survivor for doing the objective. BBQ is like WGLF that gives an aura of the killer's location and double bp for doing gens. There's no perk that instantly repairs a gen like 1-shot perks do for killers. BNP was the only thing comparable but it was of course....nerfed into trash tier like most everything else.

Sluzzy I find your opinions on the game interesting. Do you have a tier list? and which killers do you find balanced? and which are overpowered and underpowered?
None of them are underpowered. :)
Freddy: Teleporting is too easy to the survivor objective.
Huntress: Hitboxes makes counterplay almost impossible and with 5 hatchets and few pallets, the cooldown between throws seems non-existent.
Spirit: When is she phasing? Only the Spirit knows.
Bubba: He can now hold his saw and go across a deadzone mowing everyone down.

My tip is don't spend any money on this game again. Perks won't carry you. Just master the killer you main and forget about winning because the game is actually unbalanced.
You mean it can be unbalanced for killer? The truth of the matter is killer perks can actually win the game. A hard to find Ruin totem on a killer keeping good pressure means a win in the pocket. Survivor perks keep getting nerfed to make it easier for killers. Perhaps you faced a few sweaty SWFS that was too good but killers do have it easier than they've ever had it. Maps getting nerfed with deadzones. Killers can down with little effort on some maps.
It's literally the best time to be a killer main.
