nope, as long as you aren't intentionally targeting a person in attempts to work alongside the survivors or things like that, it's not against the rules.
the person is just salty that you've killed them rather than going after other people.. just leave 'em be.

This is really cute!! I love Wraith a ton myself and like someone else said, the fact you took the time to give your variant his own name and everything is great. 😄
thank you guys!! <33

How cute c: I like the idea of someone loving their main so much that they give him an actual personality
I absolutely love it!
askjnfsj thank you so much! this means a lot to me ;w;
and of course! once you love a character so much, it seems super easy to kind of make something personal out of 'em!

i mean, personally speaking here; nipples are nipples. i don't understand why it's such an issue if yui were to get a shirtless cosmetic. besides, a female's naked or bared chest and torso is just a male's torso but with a little extra. humans will be humans. if perverts wanna go at it, let them. that's on their end with their intentions.
i personally would like to see a shirtless yui (or better worded; semi-shirtless like a loose wrap or a sports bra) for the simple fact of breaking gender standards, having a tough appearance, and for the meme.
also because she'd actually look pretty bad-ass shirtless and with bandages on her knuckles as well like david. fighter-like appearances are neat!
-
but i wanna be nice sometimes :(
-
i have mixed feelings about solo queue; mostly because i get grouped up with people who don't exactly... play. like they're supposed to.
and a lot of the time, i get thrown under the bus. ;w;
but! there's always those good few games that give me a bit of hope every time, and i've been trying to play more survivor because of them. (though i do miss my demogorgon...)

I can't wait till someone will copycat this game. If he will be competent enough this game will die quickly because it doesn't even work
lets not be like that, please.

here's his in-game cosmetics! very simple. i would've included it in my opening post, but unfortunately the forums wouldn't allow me to do so as of right now.
-
i don't mean to be disrespectful, but can't we all just take it how it is and call it a day for right now? i'd rather we all at least just watch and see how it plays out instead. ;w;
sure, the devs may have made some mistakes, but just because bhvr has a team of 100+ doesn't mean that they all actively work on dead by daylight. they could be working on other projects as well or on other things that have nothing to do with dead by daylight as a whole.

I wouldn't confuse passion for hatred. People who don't like the game leave, people who like the game and want it to be better stick around and criticize it. Negative feedback is still good to have.
though it would be safe to mention that there are some people that choose to stick around only for the sake of bashing on whatever they can as a form of entertainment. that is a real thing in this community, as unfortunate as it is.
but i agree! negative feedback can be good as long as it's reasonable negative feedback and not for the sake of trying to make everything look bad for the meme. :0

because the addiction is strong in this one! :'Dc
real talk, though, i definitely agree with the both of you, @ocafghanistan and @Lost_in_the_Fog.

incorrect. this is an aura-based effect. you'll also see it if someone uses kindred, dark sense, object of obsession, etc!

They don't have to use everything he could do but possessing a survivor by using the amulet of damballah is a must and doing the chant, having lightning and the clouds and all is a must, by possessing a survivor obviously would have more benefits but that would be an add on ultra rare, his size wouldn't matter either while in doll form, I'm pretty sure they'll make it right
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/785154#Comment_785154
being able to possess a survivor would completely break the chain of gameplay that was set for dead by daylight. overall, it really would not be a good idea like most of his abilities, hence why i said "undetermined set".
not to mention there's no way that he would be able to fit into the lore itself. i can understand why it may seem like a good idea on paper, but in practice, its a terrible idea.
-
definitely focus on the core game first before adding new content. that should be the main priority of a development company! make sure the product works before adding extra for the marketing. :'0
-
i'm going to be honest with you here;
there's never such thing as a truly "balanced" game. there's going to always be some things that may seem off or unreasonable to you or others whenever it comes to killers and survivors. honestly? the whole "balance" seems fine to me aside from some aspects being a little weak.
you're going to just have to adapt and get used to it. it's a constant push and pull, and everything is going to seem unfair at some point, even if they do "balance" everything somehow.

@shalo said:
Do what survivors do when they're not having fun.
not really necessary. like above, please do not encourage disconnections or unsportsmanlike conduct. that makes you look bad. :(
-
fortunately, this is actually against the rules and can result in an in-game ban or penalty. feel free to submit a support ticket to bring this to the team's attention here along with any proof you have of this happening. https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us
in addition, you can also submit an in-game report against these two explaining what's going on, as it's required.

Gloating how good they are, I‘d yesterday. They had a hard game against my Ghostface and only managed to get out because they had a key. They couldn‘t resist to call names. 2 gens to go and all were regressed to 0 and I was trash 😅
That‘s just Survivors being Survivors 🤪
@joker7997 said:
It can either be to help your teammates out to create false pressure on the killer, or more commonly an immature opportunity to bm. Every once in a great while I catch a douche that misjudged the escape line, and they die. So keep it up survivors.
i definitely feel you two.
but y'know. sometimes you get a little guilty pleasure out of their mistakes at bming. ;'D
@marvelmovie said:
Its find it cheap and very lack luster. What about the guy who T bags you the entire game clicks the flashlight and is always the first one on the gate lmao on that one
agreed.

@ChainsawCharlie said:
Yeah survivors tend to gloat and rub their victories in your face, and then whine and cry anytime they lose. It's insufferable. They want the game to be a bully simulation rather than a balanced and fun game where both sides have an enjoyable experience.
Personally, I just force them out of the gate if I'm there just as they open the door, but if I'm far away and I KNOW for a fact they're gonna escape and teabag, I just stand AFK somewhere and go grab a beer while they waste their own time as well. They want the satisfaction of you chasing them out as they teabag in the second scenario so I don't give them that.
fair point! and it's unfortunate that some of these players will take the extra initiative to openly giggle about it post-game rather than showing good sportsmanship.
but! that's what adrenaline does to people sometimes, especially in a competitive game, and there's not much we can do except shake our heads and shrug it off with a smile. :'D
-
@itsmetimohthy said:
Once they escape, and are just BMing in the exit gates, just alt tab and do something else. That is what I do. And then in post game chat, tell them you were happy that you got to witness their first escape and leave the lobby. It REALLY pisses them off.
honestly that made me chuckle. oml
but unfortunately, as much as i'd like to leave a snarky remark, i love to keep a good nature among the community, and i don't want to be a sore loser. :'0

Hello! Just today I realized that I no longer have the ornate mask. Was it removed from the game?
nope! it wasn't removed. it seems like there's a bug or a save file issue going around where people are missing certain items from their inventories. devs are currently working on it to get a solution out ASAP, though!
-
nope! all survivors are equal targets to me, whether they have hard-to-see models or not. i like to play the game how i'd like to play it and keep it fair. :D
-
hi there! for those who have lost any items (aside from the trapper ornate mask), be sure to submit a support ticket about it if necessary! though it'd be best to wait to see if after they release a fix for it, your items return.
however, it doesn't hurt to ask. <3
-
honestly, i love the idea of that. it forces survivors to want to leave quicker and puts more tension on the end game for both sides.
-
as much as chucky would be wonderful to have in the game, it'd be hard to make him into a killer due to his size and having a undetermined set of abilities.
-
to add onto my post; getting protection hits outside of unhooking someone (jumping in front of a injured survivor during a killer chase) works out pretty well. try that!
-
it takes a lot of practice! you have to know how to aim and pace your shots, as well as read survivor movements carefully. i still struggle to play as her sometimes, but i'm getting better by slowing down and being strategic!
-
i've only ever really used WGLF for unhook bloodpoint bonuses, so i've never really noticed that the detection is off.
perhaps it may be a sync issue.
-
it'd really be interesting to see a doctor from you! :0
-
unfortunately, this comes with a lot of communities for competitive games. it's just something you have to deal with.
however, you can report racial chat logs and such for unsportsmanlike conduct at the end of the game! it's worth it!
-
there are perks to counter slugging, remember that!
otherwise, slugging is a perfectly viable strategy (that isn't always flawless, mind you) and thus, should not be something that needs to be discouraged.
-
nope! it's not griefing, and you cannot bodyblock as killer due to the lack of collision while a survivor is downed, therefore it cannot necessarily be considered as bodyblocking either!
if anything, it's considered as a form of slugging, which is not an offense according to the in-game rules; https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/19450/game-rules-and-report-system
hope this answers your question! ;w;/
-
personally, i don't think the devs will be touching spirit any time soon, and even if they do, it's only for a slight add-on modification. she's perfectly fine for both killers and survivors, and there's nothing really busted about her, so i think she'll be off the hook for this one.

I start to see more and more of these kind of threads about how unfun freddy is.. i was planning to buy that DLC, but now, i don't know anymore.. should i buy it or buy others?
don't let other's views stop you! if you wanna buy the dlc, go for it! this is your choice, after all.
i encourage you try the dlc, actually, due to freddy's dynamics and the wacky stuff you can do with him and quentin!
-
personally? i see it simply as a perk. nothing more, nothing less. it shouldn't be classified as whether it's a perk for new players or not. this goes for many other meta perks that people disagree with as a whole.
i also agree with @Quol and @KillermainBTWm8!
-
i understand if people think that others are being sensitive because flashlight clicking can be used as a taunt, but lets all be honest here; it actually can get really annoying sometimes and at some points, can become very unnecessary.
especially if someone uses a macro or a wheel and ultimately lags out the game or drops the framerate/bugs out the sound (which has happened before, by the way. i've seen it for myself).
while yes, flashlight clicking can come with benefits, often times it's seen as being used for the complete opposite purpose of what the flashlight is meant for.
i wholeheartedly agree that something should be done about this, perhaps a time restriction between clicks. and speaking from a survivor side as well; there's been way too many cases where the killer was ultimately lead to me due to flashlight clicking or people have simply tried to annoy me or make noise while i'm focused on a generator. it can become too much, especially when you're trying to have fun.

well I got 4k on my first match as a killer with nurse I chased the survivors WITHOUT BLINKING yet I got 4k is...is nurse op?
are you sure you weren't just playing against inexperienced survivors? it's extremely difficult to manage this, especially since nurse's base movement speed is slower than a running survivor.
-
oh trust me, nurse is plenty strong. and even with her changes, she's still very viable and still requires the necessary skill to know how to use her power properly, and can even crush an entire team if paced correctly.
she wasn't "nerfed". i don't understand why this term is being tossed around. she's been changed to fit the proper criteria of the killer ring for this game. she completely ignored most things a killer required, thus she was reworked to suit the ring.
-
i recommend using the in-game reporting system for that!
