Just watch a movie or play sth else while you derank and time will fly by very fast. Just make sure that next time, you dont even get into the "red zone"
I am not sure how that DC rate is calculated, but I would assume that it is based upon the number of games per week/month.
Oh and another advice, if you have freddy, he is the most efficient way to derank because survivors dont tbagg in front of you to farm chase points.
porbably coz one of the devs has a crush on her.. others get a hammer pretty quick :P

they dint change the hair mesh.. i think the mask file is not linked properly.. they are moving towards a common mask for hairs for all characters killers and survivors..previously each character had a separate mask file for hair which was redundant and used up like 8MB per hair model these were duplicates. I think they are cleaning those up and might have missed the link for pigs hair mask.

what? latecny has nothing to do with bandwidth.. its location and distance based.. i have plenty of bandwidth with 250Mbs line.. so no effect on ping/latency for me.

here is how i have collected 24 vials as kilelr so far.. start que.. open netflix start watching daredevil :P usually at 20 min mark u will find a lobby :P show no mercy end it quickly reque and go back ot watching netflix :P

im on SEA region and i never had issues with lobby ques untill last 2 patches.. a lot of thailand ppl play this game so i had no issues finding killer lobbies before but all of a sudden the wait time is now 20 mins.. im just watching dare devil on netflix till i find my killer lobby.. and i almost finish half of the episode before i can find a lobby. :P

Killer ques are 20+ mins for me so if i do get a lobby i dont want to be a dick and make ppl DC.. if they are on the plant i just switch targets.. most survivors are done collecting nectars now.. so most games i face are normal .. i still have 15 more vials to collect as killer.. if i get all 8 hooks with 3+ gens left i just go to basement face a wall and watch youtube and let them live.. i only get sacrifices if im matched with players at my level..
I just dont want ppl to DC if i down them early.. they really need to punish ppl who DC hard.. or comeup with a way to minimize DCs.. and to OP.. isnt having non friendly killers a good thing?

did you look at the matchmaking code? when did i even talk about skill? i suspect they did this to avoid matching >1K hour players from <10hour players.. or something similar .. i havent faced any noob players in a long time ever since the new levelup mechanic went live. so its reasonable to suspect they might have done something like that.. its called establishing correlation .

just curious on devotion level of ppl having longer ques..i suspect its something to do with that.. i havent faced new players ever since they added level upsystem.. i have over 2K hours ingame now .. i think game takes that into account if you play as killer i guess..

perk choices that offer bonus BPs are actually bad in game.. you will most likey endup loosing early and not gaining anything teh only 2 reliable perks are BBQ and WGLF for killer and survivor.. all other perks depend on your skill level to survive..pair WGLF with BT for easy 2 tokens per rescue..
if the survivors are farming then these perks wont matter either ways..

i cant even derank now not finding fast lobbies as killer since a month now
... im not sure if this issue persists at rank 10 or 15... im stuck at rank 3 cant find any lobby for like 30 minutes . and even when i do 1 or 2 ppl DC ...have ppl stopped playing survivors i see 36K ppl live on steam.. are you telling me you cant find a lobby among them ? or is yoru matchmaking solution unable to handle these? -
killer dictates the pace of the game.. i finished survivor vials .. if they wanted to farm i just got my points did gens and got out..as killer im playing normal.... its much harder to collect nectar if the hooks are all on one side of the map.. surviovrs go and die as far away from hook if u dont farm.. im averaging 1 vile fro every 2 games as killer.. while as survivor i got a full vile almost every game ..

plunderer + ace in hole.. dont use any luck offering if anyoen offers luck based offerings it wills screwup the chances.. i usually get puprle items very frewquently.. dont use up the ante aswell .. just use plunderer and acein the hole..

I rendered the 3models of these after i saw leaked images of them .. here is my reasoning if your are willing to listen OP.. back when legacy was announced out of the blue i was pissed .. i never prestiged my characters thinking that its just a waste of bloodpoints so i spent them on unlocking teachables for all available characters at that time.. Legacy skins main criteiria was that you can only start getting them after P3... I really wanted a legacy wraith i think i had over 800 hours in game at the time.. i missed out on it.
When these Blighted skins were leaked i was scared they would do the same i even prestiged huntress, only character i prestiged thinking that they might have some similar criteria .. but since BBQ event i thought they might have token system leaking these early did help me and others prepare for this event in the case these skins were prestige locked.
If you argument is ppl would have a different opinion if these skins were not leaked then i disagree.. a lot of my early comments when i rendered the models were liek "take my money " "at this rate BHVR will make me poor" look artists did a fantasitc job on these a lot of ppl atleast teh majority in my friends circle have no issues buying 1 or 2 skins while supporting devs. ppl who cry about these will never buy it anyway if they cant even support the game they like why listen to them?
I do agree that they could have made 2 skins unlockable instead of 1 but im ok with either they are doing sucha good job on these and amount of detail i thnk its worth the money im spending on these...

my point was that from level 1-40 or somethings its easy to get shards upwards of 15K or soemthing.. but after that it takes longer to levelup and shards are awarded at same rate.. which is what im getting at..
A level 80 Devotion 1 player should earn more shards since it takes more time to levelup than a level 40 Devotion1 .. I want to stack up on shards for upcoming event.. not sure if itrequires shards.. but unless at level 1 or something its painfully slow to earn them since it takes liek 3 -4 games to level up XP requirement is 4200 atm for me..

That's the dumbest logic that gets thrown around this forum.
if you even have 100hrs its not that hard to finish the game with single pip at worst case no depip.. the only time I depip is if i get farmed or get moried..or if 4 SWF get my ruin at 5 secs into game and genrush the ######### out off it. even if i play casual i get atelast 0 pip.. its hard to depip unless you are really aiming for it...

or even better let killers push a button inbasemet and let the entity grab killer from ground drag them in.. if any survivors are still in map they loose their items and half of their blood points.. this seems fair enough..

how about i simplify it then.. if either one of the exit gates are open that should start a timer say 1-2 mins who ever is free to go should leave.. if you wanted to stay and help do as your peril.. coz afer 2 mins timer gates will close again and anyone who dint leave gets pushed back into map..
Thats what i mean when i said devs dont want to put any pressure on survivors at all.. where as killers have to outsmart 4 ppl on comms or atleast 2 ppl on comms most of time.. and top it off they do this ######### at the end of game.

probably fighting over who gets the hatch.. i dont want ot alt tab away and watch youtube as i said i only get a limited free time .. its really not rewarding to be in rank 1-5 in anyway.. otehr than bragging rights.. would rather stick at rank 10 and enjoy my time.

tats even annoying i would prefer exit gate should get locked out and they will have open it again and their auras become visible and they get 1 shot and moried.. a lot to ask but anything to keep them from wasitn my time or let me DC and let them loose all points and adddons after like 2 mins of exit gates open

no stay at 10 - 7 best expereience so far .. rank 1 is just filled with try hards and toxic plays.. not worth my time .. derank if you see new players..let them win. if you find catch cocky survivors and your on a winning streak.. dont hestitae to camp that little ######### and keep nodding your head :P you will derank + teach that little ######### some respect.

I tried to join a friend of mine who was able to get in.. it threw an error saying incorrect version of game initialized. and i also get start screen error as well.. was able to play just fine few hours ago.. i have collected 42 tokens already.. this ######### is weird.

whats your problem.. i use DS every now and then.. but i favor Adrenalin more.. it adds to diverstiy. just cause you hit rank 1 without it doesnt mean everyone shouldnt use it. everybody has their tastes. I change my loadouts frequently as i like to try differnt builds.

i dont care..if i ever see a fooking trapper again.. im doing 0 gens.. ill hide in a bush and follow him around saboing every trap i find.. i dont even use sprint burst anymore. im running sabo + small game + urban evasion + DS. im not rescuing or doing a single gen untill i see every fookin trap in map broken ,,
so far only managed to sabo 6 traps before eitehr we escape or we all die..how many traps does trapper get per map?
