Bioshock is one of my favorite games and has been for years--since it came out.
I don't want Dead by Daylight anywhere near it.
Ah that is true the Big Daddies are sort of the most Iconic parts of the game. That and Fort Frolic (at least that's what people remember fondly of the game with Sander and the Little Quests you have to do).
But yeah I do understand that infinite doesn't have any iconic characters they probably might be for others but it may not live up to the expectations of the first game.
And that last bit is understandable too since DBD sort of has a tendency of having characters who did all these badass things and prevailed through thick and thin and sort of levels it down to "Ayyy gotta run and hide from the killer 👉👉"
For me that'd probably make me disappointed due to that fact, but at the same time I'd be excited since I'm playing with a cast I haven't seen for 8 years

No but seriously thats really annoying, an escape should always mean the minimum of a safety pip
Please devs, pleaseeeee
Killer and Survivor emblems revolve around each other. One can't work without the other. If Survivors could rank up without killers then you'd have a lot of red ranks swarming around. Same thing would go for killers too.
If a killer is afk, the best quality your getting is Iridescent Lightbringer and Unbroken emblems, but nothing for altruism or evader emblems. (Maybe a few points in evader), but that's all you're getting. While this game pits you against each other (killer vs Survivors) this is something you need each other to gain. Without one side you're not going to get specific emblem points.

I was going to make a joke post about the garbage responses this kind of thread normally gets, then thought better of it and deleted it all.
That said, Gens will fly if you aren't visiting them enough. If a Survivor is running you around mid for 30+ seconds, it's because they are stalling you while everyone else works on Gens. It sucks. As a Killer, you are "supposed" to chase and hit them, but they know that. They will present you with the Survivor that is confident in their ability to run you while Gens get done.
As such, my mindset for this game has completely changed when playing Killer.
First off, you aren't a BIG BAD Killer trapped with four Survivors running for their lives. You are an armed victim trapped with four intruders trying to break your home. YOU'RE the one on the defensive, not them. They are there to attack your stuff, and you are there to defend your stuff. If one of them is running you around for more than 10 seconds, you need to go look at your stuff because it means the other intruders are tinkering with it. The rats are after your cheese. Chase long enough to hit them off a Gen, or get them running from the Gen they clearly want to work on (most Survivors become fixated on the Gen they fingered, and won't often go look for the one they haven't touched yet). Patrol them, chase when/where you can. and only really commit if they run deeper into your defense zone. If they run you to the other side of the map, you got played and will lose a Gen. They are greedy, unforgiving cannibals that will sacrifice a rat to a hook so the rest and gorge themselves on your cheese. After that, it becomes mind games, game sense, and mechanical skill.
If Gens took a bit longer, or changes were made so Killers felt like more of a threat, it would be a different game. Maybe better, maybe worse. A whole new meta would pop up. Until then, you're a terrified home-maker with a knife, and those intruders are trying to break your stuff.
I genuinely love how you wrote this

I think it's a fair second chance perk, it rewards the survivors for doing their objective, and punishes a killer for overcommitting to a chase when a generator is nearly done. Why do people hate a perk that rewards the survivors for doing well? Same can apply to BBQ and pop on the killer side, they reward the killer for doing their objective and are balanced perks overall.
I don't know. I normally don't run adrenaline because I'm usually still alive (mostly on death hook phase when that happens) so my immersive level goes up x2. It usually pops when I'm on my 1st or 2nd hook at best.
But when I play killer I do find myself in a new chase with another Survivor and when I hit them that's already one health state down, they get their hit speed boost and I do my blood wipe boom chase continues, and when I'm about to get the dying state hit on the person I'm chasing, out of nowhere I see that they start dashing out of and fully healed. It's like they have dead hard, but it came in at the perfect time to save them (mostly for me in some of those cases). After that I just leave the chase and end it there. Their could be cases where BBQ could tip the scales in the killers favor same with Pop, but those two perks depend on two people: The Survivor and The Killer. If the killer ends a chase with someone looping them they lose a potential BBQ stack and a potential 60 second Pop usage. These two roles are ying and yang for each other. One can't progress without the other. Maybe besides Survivors doing gens that's something they don't need the killer to progress for.
I've lost some hooks when someone's adrenaline popped and I lost some matches but it's not too often. Normally it ends up with said adrenaline user escaping or doing a little t-bagging before they do, but it doesn't bother me too much because most of the time they heal before their adrenaline pops.
TL;DR:
My guess is that when the scales seem to tip toward you when playing killer then it just violently tips to the Survivor's side when adrenaline pops you may end up losing the game depending on their next move.

According to the Q&A stream Devs are monitoring PH. Most likely PH will get "minor changes" (still getting nurse flashbacks)...
Let us remember what so many people have complained about. I personally can only remember two specific things:
- Canceling Rites of Judgment (switching from M2 to M1) has a cooldown of 0.5 seconds. According to many people here this is much too low, because PH can simply fake his M2 without any punishment (0.5 seconds is not really noticeable). The legendary "get hit or get hit"-Situation was born.
- PH can negate a lot of perks because of his cages. Especially DS and BT users are NOT happy about that.
So what could they change to make people happy again? Increase the cooldown from 0.5 to 1 second? 1.5 second? 2 seconds? Yeah.. I don't know what they're planning, but a higher cooldown most likely means that he can no longer fake his ability. Since this is his TRUE STRENGTH, such a change would make him drop from tier A to tier C in no time (since I am not a friend of tiers this is only to illustrate that he would lose much of his viability).
So if the cooldown should be increased, then he should get something in return. I don't know what that could be, but just increasing the cooldown alone would kill PH. I don't even want to talk about the scond point. He has a unique ability and that is a good thing imo. But that alone doesn't make a good killer and I really hope that they don't mess him up.
What do you think about it? Will I soon be a sad PH main or will they find a good solution without ruining it completely?
Whatever these changes are I just hope that they won't SIGNIFICANTLY gut Pyramid Head. Personally I find him fun to play as a killer and find him fun to go against as Survivor. For me PH matches don't come by often, but I do hope it won't go to nurse tier like matches where they'll be even more rare to come-by or people will pull a hillbilly and just drop him. Same thing with deathslinger since I main him. I don't mind if changes will happen to either of them, but I just hope it won't make others drop them completely.

I also just wanted to add, the power is just underwhelming. Even if we do see players get good at him
A. Why put the effort of such a high skill cap for low reward?
B. This is such a lackluster and boring design after Slinger and PH.
Well one of your points are subjective: "Why put the effort of such a high skill for low reward?"
Others might master him just because they like the character. They know his power isn't head over heels to get, but some probably just like the character as is. A different majority might not even care for his design (power wise), and just like him because it's a new killer joining the roster.
I was facing against a blight yesterday with my friends in a public match in azarovs and I saw the guy ping ponging everywhere to hit me, and it was funny as hell! But yes I do agree that his lethal rush turn is too restrictive. There where times where I could've hit someone but when I end up trying to follow them as best as I can in lethal rush, I end up sidestepping by them like someone trying get their seat from in a movie theatre. No, lethality shouldn't require SO much restriction for just a hit. But at the same time we can't have a lot LESS restriction when turning because that could be easily mastered/gotten the hang off. (Though I may add a personal experience with him that it feels pretty good to get a hit or at least a down with his power on the first day of release since he's a new killer. It feels nice but at the same time without the add-ons you don't get rewarded for having to ping pong your way just to hit someone.)

Ever since the last two patches came out (chainsaw bros reworks and the one after) my frames have been horrible. Worse on any of the indoor maps, especially on Lery's. I tried Croosplay the day it started and in both roles, but it was terrible, and imo impossible to play as killer. All of consoles existing performance problems seem to deepen, and if you look around the forum others have spoken about this as well.
I cannot defend a console surv instantly dc'ing each and every time during their first down or such, but I have to believe a couple must be because of fps crushing their gameplay.

Have you guys had it where the other survivors have DC'd straight away thinking there was a MORI?

There is no counterplay to deathslinger as his shot is impossible to react to, and spirit is a guess, so no counterplay there. If you can run one for a while it isn't your skill. It means they messed up. Those two are the only ones with no counterplay.
It might just be for me but he does feel like he has counterplay. I play as deathslinger and when I played a Survivor match a with a friend of mine I already had a fixed mindset on what he was pretty much going to do. I saw a pallet in front of me and I look back at deathslinger and I keep running to the pallet since I know that slinger's will have a knack for quick-shotting at pallets but that's where I quickly move to the opposite way and he misses his quickshot. Even though it might not sound like skill, it just felt really good when I was able to predict what he was about to do based on what I did when I play as deathslinger

So you want everyone to be completely non-interactive in a game that low-key nerfs loops and overbuffs stealth with every new map?
And that's even ignoring that it's not "adaptation," it's just forced stealth. Adaptation is changing the way you loop, not being forced to hide because you have no other options.
But that's the thing you shouldn't be able to loop the killer however long you see fit for your team. You can't always have a single everyday straight forward solution to different problems. You have to find a new way to tackle and solve this problem. Like what others say, the only way for you to get away for a killer to make a mistake, so if you were to keep on looping them then they would just have to give up on you or just hope YOU have to make a mistake on your part, and we all know how that goes depending on the looper's skill level and the skill level of the killer. Putting a temporary end to loops is not bad, but at the same time it brings something new to your agenda and you have to try and overcome it.

When a killer gets released you don't instantly decide oh hes boring to vs and badly desgined. It usually takes a few months. Look at old legion and spirit for example, killers which ppl thought would be incredibly weak. And that's the problem with deathslinger, that his power has nothing to help him outside of chase but in chase hes stupidly broken.
Ah I see. So then how would we stop that? I play both sides, and I main deathslinger and I find him really fun to play as a killer and I find him fun to play *against* as a Survivor as well. But at the same time a part of me doesn't want him to be touched at all since I'm afraid that some changes people suggest sort of scare me since I have a play style that might not adjust too well with the change. I'll try to adapt, to the best of my abilities but I don't want to get to the point where I just completely drop him like some did to Billy because of his (inevitable?) change/rework. And when I play against him as Survivor I don't want to face a deathslinger to the point where someone is struggling or the change would interfere a lot with their gameplay, because since I play as him I feel like I have a knack on what the opposing side might do.

Look there’s a difference between being strong in chase and being broken in chase. Nurse and huntress are both very strong in chase where as I would argue pyramid head and deathslinger are broken in chase. And funnily enough you can down ppl much faster as nurse and huntress compared to deathslinger and pyramid head, Broken in chase isn’t nesceserily about the downing speed but rather about the ability for survivors to have fun and counter the killer whilst in chase. And huntress doesn’t need a cool down when she puts her hatchet away because winding it up and putting it back again slows you down enough that you can’t use it to catch up to survivors.
What power could deathslinger offer that gives him map pressure, map manipulation, Survivor locating, adding on pressure etc. He has nothing but g u n.
Surely you can allow him to make up for that for ending chases quickly. Deathslinger doesn't have any anti looping abilities other than possibly shooting a Survivor before they get to a pallet. He should at least be able to end chases without having to be punished. Plus it seems like nobody had a problem with deathslinger when he was out up until now. Why the sudden hate for him after he's been out for months?

I believe Survivors may appear more toxic because they have a bigger purpose for it, I mean, one guy taunting the Killer may be doing it for 2 reasons, because he wants and likes to infuriate people (TOXIC) or because he is good at looping, wants to get aggro and protect the genjockeys who are worse at escaping (not really that toxic).
Sometimes its the second option and I wouldnt really call it toxic, a chain is as strong as its weakest link, by protecting the less skilled players the team will increase its chances to survive. If I were to be playing with No0b3/Zubat/etc I would like for them to try getting aggro on the Killer for they will probably be able to loop him way more time than me, and the only way to achieve that is to use taunts.
When Killers are toxic its usually because they want to be jerks, there is no benefit from hitting people on the hook repeteadly, nor leaving him in the ground for 4 minutes to pick him before bleed out to hook or carrying towards a hatch to close it on their faces etc.
Well you can't forget that some killers do it some of the reasons you listed. They hit the person who was taunting them (but without anything to clarify it) they're most likely peeved at you because they didn't know your true intentions (taking the aggro) and when they finally get you they hit you over and over. Some killers close hatch in your face because yeah they're jerks or for an achievement (the "Denied!" Achievement where you close a hatch 30 times, but it's still scummy)

Again, where did you get this information? Is this posted somewhere? It is true that someone who is camping a hook is "not" by default out chasing people, and that would have the effect of decreasing the said points they earn in that category, but you seem to be inferring that proximity to the hook is applying an extra penalty, i.e. reduction in said points. I don't think that is correct, and would very much like to know if that is what you are saying, and where you are finding this information?
It's after a killer match probably in the chaser section. If you were close to a Survivor on a hook it will deduct points for you

You could have just waited long enough for the cage to respawn elsewhere on the map. If PH remains to close to a cage for too long, the cage respawns.
You have to be VERY close to the cage on order to have the cage move somewhat else this pyramid head knew that scenario, so he stays far away enough from the cage but close enough to have his attack reach (which he missed the first time and the person was saved during his cool down)

I've never been so infuriated by a quest in my life and I've played wow on the shittiest computers and internet since it was in vanilla beta.
I can't seem to get a match where I am able to retain being the obsession and escape at the same time.
At first I tried using all three Laurie's perks (5/8 games i was obsession to start, also 6/8 games was stealth killers including an infinite tier 1 Michael that took the game hostage. For those who don't know, anything that causes the undetectable effect on a killer also makes their auras invisible to OoO, including tier 1 michael). Was not working, so I removed the OoO because it was backfiring even on midwhich and tried just decisive strike and her other perk.
5 more games and I am never the obsession to start, not a huge issues with decisive strike, but of course my luck is that 2/5 games is an ebony mori and other 2 they just wait it out or dont tunnel, 1 game I missed and died because of it :/.
Is the answer to not try and just do this one dead last? leaving it on and just hoping you randomly get it? I've only started playing 3 months ago. Are there other perks that make you the obsession or help you hold it?
Keys seemed to also aggravate the problem as I was just tunneled each game I brought one. I also was playing all these games with 1-3 friends. No amount of coordination was helping with the obsession selection or tunneling unfortunately.
If no tips, maybe a nice story about how you got it to inspire me?
This one I overcomplicated too when I first saw this challenge. But a friend and I were doing a 2-man SWF doing challenges in the tomes. Before we started a match we were brainstorming on how we can help each other for our challenge when I had to do the, "escape as the obsession challenge" my Friend suggested object of obsession and Decisive. But it struck me:
"For the People"
(one of Zarina's perks)
With this here's a tip:
Just try and survive the match and use "For the People" on someone in the exit gates after the obsession icon switches to you then escape the trial.

Its very annoying because of how strong tormented can be when used right.
Sometimes Pyramid Head might have little rites of judgement pools that weren't fully dragged out. I'm guessing that if that's the possibility you might've been running into what looks like a small little razor wire with the construction bar sticking out without it having the blood pools in the ground along with it giving you torment. (basically Pyramid Head's power but it's not dragged out into a full out trail it's just)

So basicly, you follow rules about moris unless you are going to lose, then you use the mori anyway to "even the odds".
With other words, your "to-do-list" means nothing.
I'm going to be frank with you (Legion pun, sorry) it only happened either once or twice where I could Mori whoever I found first. After that I sort of dropped it, but at the same time I just preferred on being honest about that portion of the old routine since I'm no saint I won't make it seem like I was perfect in what my new hotfix version of what my new rules/to-do list are currently.
At this point I might as well just post what I did before instead of sharing the new version of the rules. Either way there was a time where using a Mori for me felt dirty or at least feel bad the most parts of me just wants to see a cool little animation from time to time.
But now at this point I've seen all the animations and such, so when I throw one on I'm going to do death hook Mori and let the last guy go. Hell I've seen the same animation over and over the course of the trial, so it'll probably end with me being tired and just letting the last two go.

I'm actually confused what is the point of a mori how do people enjoy moris they are a waste of time and they are kinda toxic too if i'm being honest.
If I bring an Ebony Mori I'm giving myself a to-do list, because I know how Moris can tip the scales so much in a regular match.
1. Always Mori on Death hook (with the exception if they're pumping out gens a little too fast then I'll Mori someone who's Mori-able to even the odds if they have two gens left chances are still tipped on their side but with the lost of a teammate it'll add pressure of that they have to play their next moves wisely. After that first Mori everyone is treated with death hook kills.)
2. Always go after the rescuer. Never the recently unhooked survivor.
3. If the last person doesn't wiggle they get hatch. 3 warnings max. (Maybe a few more warnings after because I want to show them that I mean well.)

I think the issue a lot of people have in regards to Huntress vs DS is that Huntress has more visibility in what she is doing. Like, you can see when she's throwing: that little feedback allows the survivor to have the ability to dodge/juke. DS doesn't have that tell; when the gun is up, you don't really have the ability to dodge, so you have to rely on moving erratically in an attempt to make him miss. Plus, really good DS' can quickscope you, giving you no feedback on anything regarding his power.
Now, that said, I don't find the quickscope, or really anything about his power, to be OP or anything. The non-interactivity is what makes him just really boring to play against.
When I dodge/juke a Huntress, my thought is "whew, dodged that." When I dodge/juke a DS, my thought is "he missed." That's the inherent difference between playing against them. "I dodged that" implies that I had an active role in it, whereas "he missed" implies that I had nothing to do with it.
PH is another matter, because aside from the fact that he completely circumvents a pallet completely, which wouldn't necessarily be a problem if he had the reduced movespeed, he's completely fine. I just wish more PH's would put me in the box instead of just hooking me and saving my torment for the mori.
Ahhh I understand you mean. It's just I sort of find it sucky that there's a killer that I enjoy playing a lot with (probably same thing goes for everyone and their own killers), and I'm nervous that the devs might actually nerf him more less tweak them to where chases are more extended. Don't get me wrong I still understand your point, from what I read you want to get the satisfaction that you avoided the possibility of taking some damage where as in deathslinger's can only be, "oh he missed". With the power to end chases quickly for me it makes up for the lack of map pressure, area control, tracking, and locating. Especially when you might have an ace up your sleeve.

I don't like guessing and that isn't at all true. Deathslinger and spirit make you guess, so I hate them.
So, with Pyramid Head do you just run straight or diagonally or do you have to guess where he's going to use his ranged attack at?
With Huntress where do you think she's going to throw her hatchets? Are you going to run in the same formation or are you going to guess/predict where she's about to throw her hatchets or are ya going to let her semi trucks get a hit on you?
There are killers where you have to guess/predict their next attack. Deathslinger and Spirit aren't the only ones in this scenario. It's sort of unfair that other killers have the same format from time to time and those still singled out. I mean it makes sense if you singled them because if you have to guess the most out of all killers then yeah it's understandable, but I don't think that's the case

No he needs a rework. Guessing isnt fun on either side, and that's what him and spirit are. Giant guesses. If the rework is too weak, buff that.
Guessing is part of the fun though. That goes for every killer and Survivor almost. 100% of the time you have to make guesses or predictions on what the opposing side is about to do. If a killer is always so straightforward and simple there's no charm to it. In my opinion I find them both fun to go up against due to that guessing nature same with other matches with different killers. Their will almost NOT be a time where you won't have to guess what someone is about to do.

Its possible to fire his gun without even triggering the animation if you press both buttons at the same time or have high latency (at least before the new Latency system... we will see) I think if a nerf were to be applied it shouldnt be much aside from limiting his ability to fire until he finishes the 3rd person animation of aiming his gun. This way you cant be shot out of nowhere you have a split second of warning at least.
As to counterplay: The counterplay is watching him as your running, the only nerf that is needed is the above change i mentioned so that you can actually watch him prepare to fire rather than him being able to fire instantly with no warning. Otherwise his slow movespeed and lack of gen pressure makes him weak enough.
But when he aims directly at you, the Survivor gets a dog whistle-like audio cue as a little mini warning. (assuming this prevents the over use and stealth shots of Iridescent Coin with Monitor and Abuse)
(When my friend and I did a custom match to test out some things he said he heard a high pitch dog whistle when I aimed directly at him, and we swapped roles and I heard the same thing too, I'm not sure if others might've heard it though or if it was just a bug though.)

I've been thinking for a while, I hate haddonfield and ormond, I'm sure survivors hate most indoors maps maybe all of them, why haven't we gotten an offering like map offerings but to not be sent there.
Like let's say that I don't want to go to ormond, but survivors don't want to go to the game they put that offering to not go there and I put the offering to not go to ormond, wouldn't that make it a better experience for both sides?
They're going to do something like that in the new update, so it won't be too long. I at least hope this offering will stay until the full release of the update.

Huntress and her hatchets by far. Those things are the size of semi trucks.
Freddy's lunge is one of those crazy ones too

I have in my past posts not just 1v1 me. I only say that because the same people saying spirit has counterplay are bad survivors and cant do it. Besides if I were to reply to it all I'd have 3-4 people arguing against me.
I dont feel like dealing with that. But then again killer sided forums so it's much expected.
I made this buf its frustrating to keep making the same points for a bunch of people to try and argue against you at the same time.yhen its accompanied by how I want "easy loopabl killers."
I played both sides and they all have a counter play. I play with Pyramid Head, Deathslinger, and Spirit. Pyramid Head and Deathslinger I have locked on point, and I might also know the opposing side might be thinking too at times. It's not the fact that they have no counterplay they're just trying to read your next move. If you're going to fast vault a window chances are they're going to use their power to get the upper hand if they time it right. You also can't forget that they're also keeping the idea of a possible fake out from you in mind so they can also be prepared for that possiblity.
Quick shots on Deathslinger are used when a survivor is still in their same formation (either running straight or at a pallet if a survivor is hiding behind it.)
Throw down pallets quickly before he pulls the trigger. It's a high noon standoff of quickshots and pallet drop in that scenario. Or if you're about to make it to a pallet assume that he'll pull a quick shot and move out of the way really quickly.
Pyramid Head is counter-able too since his power mostly revolves around thinking ahead of the player and predicting their next moves. If a Survivor is at a pallet they have to assume two things: 1. "They're either going to drop it so I should get my power ready." or 2: They might run through the pallet so I should probably fake them out with my power early then go for a basic attack.
Spirit I'm still figuring out a solid counterplay, but for most of the times when she is phase walking run to her husk, I do that most of the time with spirit (who knows maybe others might do it too at this point), or if there's the possiblity she's trying to fake you out at a pallet loop wait a bit, and keep running if she starts chasing you when you start running that's you're sign that she was trying to fake you out.
Sorry if this is too long, but I just wanted to share my side of the discussion. It's best to get a response from those who play both sides since they know what you mean and what you're going through in-game.

This video explains really well why people claim these killers have counterplay.
I don't understand why he thinks that they need a nerf. Why nerf a killer because, "they're boring to go up against"
This obviously won't go for everyone, but when someone DC'd when I downed them as deathslinger and it just ended it up and either a 2 or 3 man and we just farmed they both said that they enjoy going against deathslinger considering the fact that each DS playing might have a different strategy up their sleeve or just a deathslinger running NOED which makes the match a bit more intense a bit more when it gets close to the end.
If a killer is boring to go up against than that's understandable and it's your opinion. But *nerfing* a killer because you find them boring that's not necessarily smart or fair. Again that could be his opinion too, but I don't necessarily agree with that.

I don't get the question, but I used to hate playing hag, now I use her kinda often but not enough to main her, I main Oni since he got released.
Ah I see! And the question in itself was basically: "A character you didn't like, but you ended up playing them later on and started to like them"

Does maining them, not maining them anymore, and then maining them again count?
Cause that's my Wraith.
Yeah that still counts! You shrug a killer off, after awhile, you pick them up again and repeat. I think we might've had our fair share 😅

Killers brought it upon themselves... lol. Yeah, okay.
Well I mean if you think about it, it's sort of true you know? Even though I started playing like last year around December it's seems like these problems were given a counter for it.
If killers were able to slug repeatedly awhile back (I wouldn't know since I've only played this game for a year), then Unbreakable was the counter for that.
Survivors were getting gens done too quickly therefore old ruin was created for that. (I played DBD before old ruin was nerfed, and it seemed super helpful on the killer's side too.)
There are problems both killers and survivors face and usually with a new killer/Survivor joining the fray they might have perks that will push us to do certain things and objectives or they'll just have a counter perk created for a specific thing like Soul Guard (though it's been rare for killers to get direct and straight forward perks like Pop and Corrupt Intervention.)
Inner Strength was created to encourage Survivors to do bones more and Trail of Torment was made to encourage kicking gens more (though the perk isn't too good, but it's still nice to get those surprise grabs at Times.)

playing a Xeno in AvP Death Match is so much fun dropping down on unexpecting marines.
I'll have to look up gameplay footage about this, and maybe it'll work well upon viewing.

i dont really know if pyramid head can see or not. He may have small eye slits in the helmet, or just be able to see because not human just a manifestation of James's mind, so he doesnt have to play by human rules.
However in RE2 if you quit moving or didnt make noise lickers couldn't find you. Pyramid head would come at you regardless of what you did in SH2
Ahh I see now 🤔
Yeah then that would prove to be pretty difficult it's like getting blinded by a flashlight, but it's permanent

Have you ever played Aluen Vs Predator? Most of those games let you play as a Xenomorph and it is fun af! I support this idea 100%
And I'm glad you like the idea! Even though it's a silly mini share your idea/opinion post it's kinda neat that some people like this small idea a little bit too.

lickers would be pretty tough because they are blind.
True, but then again looking back at it I don't think it stopped Pyramid Head 😅
But then again that could be the first killer that's revolved around echolocation. So maybe everything will be black in their POV but their surroundings will be highlighted and outlined in white, so it won't be impossible to track. Especially since sound is one of the major aspects in the game.

I’m not a huge fan of the series but don’t Xenomorphs (from Alien) like to crawl around. I assume if that power type ever did come around it probably go to something like that.
Ahh I see, I think I only watched one of the movies but that was it, but I think I do understand what you mean.
Even though it'll get old soon a killer like that could always most likely get a scare out of me since instead of looking around you you have to be focused on your *entire* environment and sound is included as well.

I would love it. Would love the Licker from RE but it'll never happen. They'd need to rebuild every map from the ground up...
Ahh I completely forgot about Licker from the RE series. The map part of it yeeeah... That'd probably be the case. Building up every map just to make it work for one killer. But I think some maps it could have advantages like Crotus Prenn Asylum or Temple of Purgation heck maybe even Midwich Elementary School. But I still see your point nonetheless.

I've wanted a centipede for a while. Just climbs over everything and tries to eat survivors. Of course it still has to hook them and feed the Entity, but fear of bugs that can climb on things is a real thing.
I understand where you're coming from. Using a rational fear is what most horror developers/producers tend to do when creating a monster. Whether it be some phobias to make us feel uneasy outwardly, or a fear that will make us nervous mentally.
