Chainsaw them down when possible, then leave them alone. For the rest of the match.

Every thread that is opened by a survivor main attempting to bring feedback on an issue is being bombarded by an army of killers with thousands of posts, that bring no arguments and hijack the topic.
If you are not one of them I am sorry!
That doesn't change the fact that these people actually exist. They sit on the forums all day, refreshing each second, waiting for a survivor thread, just to reply with "bait" and other crap. The OP eventually just gives up on the conversation, since there is no conversation to be had. How is that accurate feedback for the devs?
@Sinner I know people like those exist, but it isn't just the killers who do it, they just happen to be louder here. I will give you some sort of lee way and say yes, this is a mostly killer main side of the internet. But I heard that Reddit (or Steam) were swarming with survivors who acted like the people who you are talking about. I never went to those sites myself, so tell me if I am wrong.
Look man/ma'am, just remember to stop assuming something about someone. Because it will really hurt your credibility when you are wrong. I'd be less inclined to believe any word you say for what you have tried to pull on me.

His post really killed me, y'know? The sheer ignorance really cut deep and I just wanna... ... I hate people like that. Whether it comes from survivor mains or killer mains I just really dislike people like him.
-
@Sinner I've never sent a single feedback post in my life. I've never ONCE complained survivors were op.
I've stated my case sure, but I've never actually given the Dev team a complaint personally, since I love this game as it mostly is.
I 4k mostly every game as a killer whom most say aren't viable, which is the Trapper. If you knew me or read any of my posts, you would know how wrong you are.
The sheer ignorance you showed me with your post makes me sick. I CANNOT STAND people LIKE YOU.

Apparently luck is very much like Leatherface's add ons.
Sounds nice, you expect it to do a lot, and then you get surprised when it actually does very little.
Luck as far as I know only really affects unhooks. But I think it may affect chests as well?
If anything, whatever affects luck will stack. Whether or not luck comes from a offering or perk.

See what I mean? 817 posts too, lol.
@Sinner What does post count have to do with anything?
Also, your post just caused me to cringe slightly. You're acting like Killer Mains are the only ones who make outlandish cries for 'balance'.
I swear I can't stand people like you.
"X posts? Lol."
"Xetc posts? Lol."
I am sorry but your feedback is not very accurate. Mostly because the forums are dominated by forum killers. They're very loud and active, they spend more time on the forums than in-game because they're not very good and want the game changed in their favor. Every post that is even remotely survivor sided they bombard it with troll replies and all sort of crap. They have thousands of post, it's very easy to spot them.
His feedback was pretty accurate. The forums, as far as I've seen, are filled with entitled killer AND survivor mains. Both sides are loud and active, and I would imagine they spend so much time here cause the game is a lobby simulator right now. The same could be said for survivors, it would be a back and forth that goes nowhere. Survivor mains also have thousands of posts. Your point?
That's why the game is so killer sided now and every game a survivor DCs or suicides on the hook, because you received the wrong feedback. Feedback from rank 15 killers that can't evolve and want to be rank 1 like their false prophet tru3talent.
The game is neither sided. That is all in your head, and people like you make the game worse by making it a 'us versus them' thing, certain, not all, survivors may dc because they merely don't want to adapt to a killer because of a hive mind, not of their own beliefs. Not all killers follow tru's words. Stop giving the, what is it? Strawman? Whatever, do not assume that all killers are rank 15. I bet you're also the kind of person who says rank doesn't matter when someone points out they are rank 1.
I know it sounds harsh, but it's the truth and if you don't see it now, you will see it at some point, hopefully it won't be too late because you created a really beautiful game and I'd hate to see it go.
It is not harsh, it is stupid. Anyone with half a brain can see you are wrong, but not for reasons you may think I am thinking. Have a good day sir/ma'am.
TL;DR
Post count means nothing. The forums are not just filled with killer mains, everyone is vocal depending on how strong their alignment is for one side. You make the game worse with that mentality you have, the 'us vs them'. You are wrong for reasons that you cannot/will not see.

Yeah true. Built in whispers could be annoying was just trying to think of something on the spot. Also you want legion to have longer and faster feral frenzy since the only one who can break pallets is Joey? The issue that people have with legion is you get outskilled by a killer who has really fast cooldown on missed attacks and really good tracking will always get you hit by frenzy every time. Making the killer go faster with the power will just be more annoying and harder to get away from the current state it is in now.
I meant the current Legion we have now.
As for my overhaul, I am thinking of ways to have balance without being op. Susie and Joey would be the only ones to have Feral Frenzy, but it'd be the same stats as of now.
The only thing this current Legion needs is what I stated. The devs wanted this killer to be a hit and run type, but they failed in giving them the speed/duration to do that. Which is why people exploit them.
I also hope the Pin add ons get reworked -.-

Yeah of course I am not saying "They shouldn't do it". The problem is there are lots of things that break whenever this game updates. The devs have to spend time on a variety of issues that occur whenever a new killer comes out. Trying to make AI work functional in this game with a lot of variables is difficult. For example: AI idle animations might get stuck in specific objects. Dropped pallets, might get stuck going through windows, etc. Any interaction this AI might do will cause at least one or more bugs when completed. It will take a while, but I also wanna see some love to Freddy too. People say Leatherface needs an overhaul, but I like him the way he is imo.
I am all for a legion change to make him more fun. In my opinion they just need to fix the chase mechanic cause that is the only way half of the legion players down me is by barley looking away and downing you. When the chase mechanic is fixed to where chase would start in x meters away even when the killer isn't looking at you (this would be vertically so if the killer is on the ground and someone is on a second story than the chase would not go on. (This is just a simple change to chase, but I know they can do better than this)
Freddy of course needs love. ANd all Leatherface needs is for his add ons to actually mean something.
The only change, the only REAL change Legion needs, is a longer and faster base Feral Frenzy. With add ons to compensate for it. I honestly feel like a proximity would actually make the situation worse, because I know how people could exploit it. Since it'd become a built in whispers. Plus the chase starting would make things even more confusing. Sometimes I enter a chase and I'm like 'Wait, there is a person here?' And I end up wasting my time.
-
@Zanfer Could be something simple. And if they would be willing to do this I'll be willing to wait for it. It's not like people wanna learn to adapt to Legion anyways.
But honestly, this is the most complex thing that has graced the forums. I'm fine with something much simpler too.

It has always troubled with the legion of the idea of one teenager taking on full grown adults, even some as jacked as David.
Yes the legion has a knife (or a ruler with a compass point taped to it), but he or she could easily be overpowered.
I wholeheartedly agree that the entire legion should be on the playing field. They are strong as a unit, not as an individual. A mori would actually show the full power of an entity driven group of psychopathic teens.
I can just never take the legion seriously because of their current state.
Amen to that.
Though to be fair anybody with a weapon can kill or harm a unarmed individual. This is especially the case when that somebody has a ancient being guiding them.
David King could easily tear the Hag apart, she's skinny as a twig. A good punch is all that is needed.

DWM procs on quick vaults and leaving lockers. Same effect (like Poised from Jane), but different requirements.
I don't even think it would need a cooldown, unless the killer is eating pallets that are legit right next to each other. Making the duration of the invisible scratch marks scale with perk rank is probably the better choice.
I know that.
Also you'd be surprised. Especially since they sorta brought back the residents of pallet town. Anyways, if things like DWM has a cooldown or WOO, then so should this perk.

we share really different viewpoints lol. I think a lot of things in this game have a problem but that's for another post.
I'm still not comfortable with how u feel about how flashlights being compared to exhaustion addons but that's fine.
yeah I was with u on hex perks not having everyone needed to counter them. only one that requires a lot to counter is noed because ALL totems need to be cleansed. if you assign 1 person to totems thats nearly 2 gens worth of time finding and cleansing them. and if someone is getting chased then only 2 people are on a gen. and if someone is on a hook and someone else is getting chased... you get the point (hopefully).
with balanced, if you're exhausted, it may not be worth running up that hill anymore, that is what I'm trying to get at. it would be the addon's fault, not the map. (as u said, its situational, so if that situation arises it doesnt even matter because of an add-on)
we both feel strongly about our own sides and I dont think we're gonna convince the other otherwise lol
also I didnt sleep last night but other than that I'm feeling fine, hope you're good as well
We truly share different view points. This shall be my last response as I don't want this to go on forever. And I can make this go on for a long time, but I don't want to.
I'm not comparing flashlights to a add on. I am merely saying the argument you brought up is the equivalent of a killer complaining about a item.
Yeah I get the point.
Balanced has the extra perk of recovering from falls faster. I know people who run it for that, and that alone. It's the same for a perk like BBQ. People usually just run it for blood points now a days.
I may mostly sympathize more with the killer side, but do not assume me to be against survivors either. I play both sides. But yeah, I think we are both too stubborn to change our views like that.
Darn, well I hope you can get better rest soon. Have a nice day.

It's a 1-time use, or 2 if you place an expensive Black Ward.
Perks are forever.
Sometimes you'll just have bad match-ups.
You know, like how you may run Distortion, but they don't run any aura Perks at all.

u believe even Insta heals are fine because they're rare, which I just don't get.
"You are doing the survivor equivalent of what killers do. Flashlight blinds exist?
Erase or nerf flashlights. Even though there are counters. (I dislike item complainers as much as I like add on complainers)."
I don't understand what you're saying here, flashlights have easy counters
u do have to at least put some effort into disabling a hex, if you are the one looking for it that is. its different when you flip it because there are 4 survivors and only 1 perk to disable, so not everyone has to contribute in disabling it
also tips on avoiding clown bottles? especially before getting injured to use dead hard? or making it to a window or elevation for lithe or balanced? doesnt sound reasonable to avoid a bottle until you reach something to use ur exhaustion perk, if ur not lucky enough to be on a gen really close to one of those
Everything in this game is pretty fine. I don't mind SWF, I don't mind campers or tunnelers. Do I heavily dislike clicky clickers or t-baggers? Yeah. Do I dislike getting hit forever while on hook? Yeah. But that is not my main point.
I know flashlights have easy counters. I have no problems with flashlights. But to make a post about a add on which (at least on Huntress) may not take effect at all, is the equivalent (to me at least) of a killer complaining about items.
You prove my point with that Hex one. Three other people can do objectives (not counting any chase that could occur), while one guy can just work on totems. Equip a map and you need no one else.
Alright, I'll give you lee way on the Clown part if you are running Dead Hard. However, that is the thing. Unless the Clown player has the forethought of a god, he can't really use his bottles to counter Lithe/Sprint Burst/Balanced Landing. Since any smart survivor would use those perks before the Clown could hit them with a bottle.
Sprint Burst: Run as soon as you know it's the Clown, people do this already.
Lithe: With it's QOL it can be used like a better Sprint Burst, unless you aren't close to a window but like 75% of the gens are usually near a window 100% of the time. Except for the cornfield. [Bad Word] the corn.
Balanced Landing: This perk is situational as hell, and might not even work at all. That's not the Clown's fault, it's the map's fault for not having a elevated place.
Didn't get to say this earlier, but I hope your day is going fine.

you seem to think because its situational and limited to only a few killers its fine. thats not how you should judge balancing imo but I guess u feel differently. its like saying iri head is balanced because only huntress can use it. something as strong as completely removing a perk with no extra effort from your side isn't balanced to me.
Completely killing momentum with a insta heal is pretty bad but since it's situational and rare, it's fine.
'A good killer can just knock down the person who has full health again.'
Sure, but that's still time you could have used for literally anything else. Sorry to use a strawman, but can you see my point?
You are doing the survivor equivalent of what killers do. Flashlight blinds exist?
Erase or nerf flashlights. Even though there are counters. (I dislike item complainers as much as I like add on complainers).
'Something as strong as completely removing a perk with no extra effort from your side isn't balanced to me.'
Hex perks would like a word with you. Yeah I know high risk/mediocre reward is okay when it screws killers but still. If you get hit with a hatchet and get exhausted then you got hit. I avoid hatchet throws all the time until the game says screw you and allows me to get hit.
And if you get hit by a Clown's bottle before the chase... Eh.
I'm sorry for making a wall but hopefully it brings my points and is easy on the eyes.

not everyone is a sprint burst user, they don't care about exhaustion addons I know that.
why bring up a point just to debunk it right after? the last time I saw a game with less than 2 exhaustion perks was when I was rank 20, we all know everyone (mostly) uses them.
if you're so concerned about that valuable addon slot, maybe this change is for the better to discourage people from using exhaustion addons if they aren't great in chases, so they'll choose something better.
You don't get my point. Everything in this game is completely situational. I forgot when, but I once had like two or more matches where the survivors I faced had no or only one exhaustion. Meaning if I did have a add on to counter Sprint Burst/Dead Hard/Etc, it'd only work on one person.
I'm not concerned about slots since I don't care much for trying to counterplay something I don't even know exists. Look, all I can say is that due to how situational the add ons are (and how few killers actually have it), they should remain. For the few who can actually use it.
I dunno, I can't word myself right at the moment.
-
They are using a valuable add on slot for a perk that someone might not even have.
Say me, I don't run exhaustion perks, so why the hell would I care if a huntress hits me with something that makes me exhausted?
I know I don't make up the majority, so my point might be moot. However, the killers are still gambling on the fact that the survivors would be running a perk that makes the add on useful. Besides, how often would a sprint burst user actually be affected? They start running as soon as they see the Clown or the Huntress anyways.
-
Doesn't Dance With Me do something like this already?
But I honestly would not mind this kind of perk. And honestly the only thing it would need is a 40/30/20 second cooldown.
-
If you ask survivors, killers have more crutches.
If you ask killers, survivors have more crutches.
If you ask me, no one has any crutches and you should just play the damn game. Everything has a counter, even those that seem to have none. Find it.
-
Was playing Billy boi because I had a challenge to do. After several misses and the three hits required later, I let the survivors do gens.
After all gens were completed I wondered why they didn't leave. When I went to look they were staring at a hook and pointing. I knocked them down and hooked them, and allowed them to go free.
This was last year during the Howling Grounds Event. I got the tokens I needed for the Huntress mask due to that match.

I would love it if all characters were present in the same match. It might even open up a new possibility of a lore-based mori. Imagine the Legion crowding around a survivor and all stabbing them to death? That would be awesome. I like that you would make the idle characters still interact with survivors, by the way. I don't know if this would be overpowered or not, but coming from a survivor main, I'm not entirely opposed. :)
That would be incredible. Would love to have them each of them included in a mori.
I had it so that the idle members at base kit would only give off an alert. And their mixtapes would allow for them to attack, plus that's what the fuming mixtape is for. Would be interesting to see.

I don't mind the idea of other legion cosmetics standing around being like spies from the shadows but i think the whole idea is too much. Like base speeds and abilities. I think I'd rather just see them as little Maurices and they can make their own unique sounds constantly. Like Julie can be cackling under her breath, Joey can ask you where you're going or whistle, Susie could be heard kicking her foot and breathing heavy to calm down like she's nervous behind her mask. I just imagine the game having to change so much or the devs thinking so far out the box that newer killers become to foreign compared to older ones if we mess with the legions and make them more than cosmetics.
I know. I just want... SOMETHING to do with them being a Legion. Having some power that complements it. But we all know this is not gonna be used, and besides, it'll probably set a higher standard or something.
But anyways, having the other three being something like little Maurices would be pretty cool.
-
Another petty moment.
I was playing Legion cause I wanted to test out the cold dirt and Joey's mixtape combo.
I was doing pretty good, killing people and hooking them. During all that, a David King decided he wanted to t-bag me. So I did the most logical thing.
I gave him 28 stab wounds, chasing him with Frenzy even though he was already deep wounded.
No one escaped. Especially that David.

Mm. Quite.
And uh, besides the sarcasm, while I do understand your plight (I've been at 100% JUST as the killer made it to a hook many times), if the feature was removed, survivors will find a way to exploit it.
Body blocking (when you are the killer trying to hook someone) is already annoying enough. Now imagine trying to do that, while survivors were actively aware of what position you had to be in to start hooking.
