I guess i'm one of the few killers who use bbq for vision and not points. The points are the bonus, were as i guess alot see it the other way.
I use it for certain Killers for the aura as well. Billy, Cenobite etc.

Because everyone plays like they're on Team Oracle now thanks to MMR. Hard split on gens, hold W, pre drop, leave immediately. Game is in a terrible place right now
Yep. 3 gens popping after downing first survivor is awesome π sigh

I see two main options here:
Option 1: Get everyone to P3 Level 1: this ensures you get the "unique reward" whatever it is, and then gives all your killers/survivors their perks as soon as the prestige rework happens. This is the guaranteed way to get that to happen (at the cost of losing items, add ons, etc) because option 2 they've not been fully clear on what the extent is...
Option 2: get everyone to level 50 with all perks. They've said they're "catching up" people in this situation by auto prestiging them to an "appropriate value" but we don't know what that value is. I would assume a level 50 character with all perks at tier 3 would go to P3, but I don't know that for sure and as far as I know they haven't said. However, they were clear that you miss out on the unique reward this way, but you keep your items and add ons.
So, whichever one sounds better to you I'd say go for.
Doesn't get much simpler then that.

What is even the purpose of this survey. What do they want to accomplish? π€

Personally I wouldn't bother with it. Even if action is taken on a player you reported they don't tell you.

I find it slightly bm if they say it in the first 0.5 seconds of the chat coming up.

Watch SpookNJukes latest video on his response to Otzdarva. May def she'd some light on this topic.

I have over 7k hours and have been playing dbd for years, MMR came in was perfectly ok, but what has now been made of MMR is just sad almost every round at least one player with 500h sometimes even less, you can tell that they have no experience and the killers aren't the best either, it's just not fun anymore :(
"Play swf then" that's the problem when I play with 3 other players who also have experience and meet such killers, they get 1 hook and then we already have 5 gens ready, very boring...
"Play Killer then" of course I usually get this kind of Survivor, it's not fun anymore even as a Killer, I hardly play Nurse anymore because almost everyone is overwhelmed, I mean I prefer to play Trapper, Wraith and so on It's not fun because you can tell that they are inexperienced :/
The problem is, before it was at least exciting because I played solo que, but the level has dropped so much that even the killers in solo que are overwhelmed (the game only gets difficult when the killer follows me for minutes and the 3 mates don't do anything) but just artificially complicated and very boring since the change, if I wouldn't stream I would stay away for months because unfortunately it's no longer fun, so please improve it, the MMR has been changed so that the Que time is better , the players got a lot worse but the que time is still bad as before, the only thing that has really changed is: Boring games, a killer who follows me without really understanding how mindgames work or how he outplays things (most just follow you bluntly)
Question: Why is the MMR included if it's not really about "skill based"? just feels like the emblem system again, for my part I need a break it has become very boring to compete against the killers who, for example, have less than 1k hours, before the change a lot of killers had 3-4k+ hours So that means experienced killers
I have a feeling you don't have more than 7k hours.

I find Trapper boring to play because there's no long grass anymore. It's too hard to hide traps without it. Also playing trapper on Eyrie of Crows is one of the worst matchups ever.
Play the traps halfway at the top of stairs of inside main bldg. Gets em almost everytime π

Great perk imo but being attached to a Hex makes it pointless as it likely be cleansed in 30 seconds (maybe 60) if you pair it with Undying.

Survivors should get a Fortnite like dance while they're in the exit gate area.
-
Could just be the Killer doesn't need or isn't interested in the extra BP and therefore just playing to win. Which of course he's entitled to just as survivors are if they choose to super slam gens.

Even a scratched Mirror Myers couldn't have fun in his own map considering the middle of Haddon is just a darkened Red Forest dead zone.

Years ago when I bought my xbox 360 i made the decision based on PC and Playstation being absolutely plagued with hackers and cheaters. Iv invested thousands of dollars and tens of thousands of hours into my xbox account to date. All has been well for years until i invested 3,500 hours into Dead By Daylight then cross play was introduced. I chose the xbox platform so i could play games and enjoy the strict no-cheat multiplayer aspect that came with it. Now DbD has cross play and I cant play a game(literally not a single one) without having PC cheaters in my game. Survivors that run faster than my killers and vault at boosted speed, people being able to use as many perks as they want at the same time, killers who know exactly where every survivor is at all times, and the list goes on. I know everyone will say that I have the option to turn cross play off but the reality is that during prime hours in the evening and the weekend it takes over an hour to get into a match with cross play turned off. And if its not peak hours it is impossible. I have started the killer que around midnight during the week and left my home to go out and do something and when i get home multiple hours later my killer is still waiting in the same que. Its absurd. I realize that the only reason cross play was introduced was due to low player count and the need to improve que wait times but having to play against cheaters every match makes waiting 20 mins for a match not so bad. Something has to give. If u need to add a game function that monitors random matches to check things like character movement speed and action times in order to ban cheaters mid match then get on your horses and make it happen. Dead By Daylight is turning into how GTA5 used to be when online first came out and its a shame.
There's no way you're running into hackers every single match. Perhaps your calling PC hacks when you're being outplayed.

FOV is a perk because FOV can provide an advantage in this game. Everybody would just max their FOV and therefore would be useless except maybe the two ppl who'd use it as a challenge
For some reason I think I play better with out the FoV. Could just be me though.
-
My last comment was deleted for no reason so I'll just state I wouldn't worry too much. Many of the perk changes have been positive and less used perks have been used more often. We need a big shake up to keep some of the matches fresh from the standard meta.

Yeah that can be true, but they're also a great source of bloodpoints. They increase in value as you collect more in a match, and you can get a lot of bonus bloodpoints.
Any use of Bloodpoints if there is no grind?

They prob don't say anything cause it gives people more incentive to play their game and grind. If its a lame ass reward people won't waste time P3'n stuff.

I recently surrender playing as killer if gen done that completed very fast, while I'm still chasing survivor. I rather open the gate when all generator completed and ignore all survivor and destroy all pallet and breakable walls , while all survivor press Alt to t bag tbag on the gate.
Since if they have no interaction with killer they will only get a low bloodpoint. Win Win I think.
Your not the only one, I've thrown up the white flag a few times myself.

Statistically from the dev stats they've released about 65% of all swfs are 2 person, 25% are 3 person and 10% are 4 person. There's no way most of those 2 person swfs are "bully squads", let alone the majority of swfs in general.
I wish I could believe that last sentence.
-
Might seem that way if you play strong killers. Killer sided for the entire roster...I think not.
