Toolboxes with ruin nerf seems obvious now,These are being changed.
Hatch, who cares if you get that last lucky magical escape after your team all died. Also no more slugging for the 4k. 3rd person dies and egc starts. This is the definition of "feeling entitled to a 4K". Once hatch is closed it's almost impossible to escape against a good killer, and given how door placement has been lately you can stand in one spot and move left/right and check both gates within seconds, and you know who cares? The survivors care, the survivor shouldn't just default to dying because you killed 3, you earned the 3K, not the 4K
Keys, no hatch no need for them.Keys definitely need looked at, but not removed, almost every singe pink addon/item survivors have has been nerfed into the ground and are useless now, which is why Keys are seeing a lot more usage.
And moris, are just so unfun to play against, except when you all escape and see the killer played an ebony. You know that feelsbadman! They do seem to promote toxic playstyles from a lot of killers as well.Same as keys really, while killers do have pink addons that can spice up gameplay, making all these 7K items totally useless or removed just dampens what the game is. I think Cypress should be default kit for all killers, and then we'll have to have some brainstorming for the other two.

Like a lot of the players have said about those crashing and being given a penalty
"It rarely happens so you'll have to suck it up" :)
-
TheCheshireKat, Hewie, EarthToLydia, CoconutsRTS, Scorpionz, BoxGhost, Tatersloth are all lovely streamers that are pretty chill to watch.

Anybody who says this isn't the same as Ruin needs to remember that part of the devs criteria for changing Ruin was '80% in red ranks, 45% in all games.' So, any suggested change to meta perks should have this in mind, seeing as the devs set this out themselves.
This is complete fabrication, they didn't say "The perk is being used in 80% of red rank games, so we reworked it"
They said
are the reasons it was changed, trying to say that "this perk is used a lot so it needs to be changed" is insane, like the devs said Self Care is the highest used perk on the survivor side, and asking for that to be nerfed... again.... is insane.
and again, Ruin wasn't nerfed, it was reworked, and a lot of people like it just as much if not more, and some people hate it just as much if not more.
Personally glad I've never found a need for ruin but all this kicking up a fuss over one perk is hilarious.
-
I love the people that say "pressure the killer by doing gens".
At that point, the killer has already "given" up, and the counter to the counter is run NOED, then you get your easy camp kill, and your easy noed kill, you can't do all totems & all gens in the time it takes someone to die, additionally if you're solo you're just screwed.
Another thing I'd like to add is BT is far from being strong enough to warrant a nerf, the easy counter play to BT is going after the unhooker, it's still two hits to down but I guess that wouldn't satisfy the people who get enjoyment out of tunneling... which is why BT makes you earn it because the devs want to discourage tunneling.

You're making excuses and giving examples that are infrequent. The basement but was the worst because it happened over a break. I played and never once dced because of it. It's possible. The dcing because a match is not going your way was out of control and needed addressed.
Incorrect, the forums were flooded when the DC penalty came out due to false bans, do you want to know why?
Because people are so used to DBD crashing they don't complain anymore, they restart the game, and requeue, but now people are being punished for it so people get more annoyed and speak up, just because you may not experience these crashes as much as others doesn't mean it isn't happening because it definitely is.
-
Probably because the devs wont make "strong" perks for survivors anymore.
The last true meta perk for survivors was Dead Hard, with David King 2ish years ago, the only real "contender" for a meta perk since then is Head On, and it's not ran because it's a good perk, it's ran because it's annoying for killers, and maybe now Inner Strength, but that's very recent.
Quentin Smith
Pharmacy, Vigil, Wake-up - No Metas
Detective Tapp
Tenacity, Detectives Hunch, Stake Out - No Metas
Kate Denson
Dance With Me, Windows of Opportunity, Boil Over - No Metas
Adam Francis
Diversion, Deliverance, Autodidact - Deliverance is useful, but by no means has it hit meta status
Jeffrey Johansen
Breakdown, Aftercare, Distortion - No Metas
Jane Romero
Solidarity, Poised, Head On - Head On is "meta" because it's annoying and funny to use
Nancy
Better Together, Fixated, Inner Strength - Inner Strength is pretty meta now
Steve Harrington
Babysitter, Camaraderie, Second Wind - No Metas
Ash
Flip-Flop, Buckle Up, Mettle of Man - MoM was meta, but it was too OP and should never have been put in the game the way it was
Leatherface
BBQ, Knock Out, Franklins - BBQ is very meta
Freddy
Fire-up, Remember Me, Blood Warden - While not meta, since EGC Blood Warden has seen a resurgence in use (at least from what I've seen)
Piggy
Hangman's Trick, Surveillance, MYC - MYC is used on a handful of killers, and surveillance is now making a come back after several changes & the ruin rework, we'll see if it becomes meta
Clown
Bamboozle, Coulrophobia, PGTW - PGTW is very meta, bamboozle is used a fair amount (seen it a lot on billy recently? idk)
Spirit
Spirit Fury, Haunted Grounds, Rancor - Spirit Fury is meta
Legion
Discorance, Mad Grit, Iron Maiden - Discordance is pretty meta
Plague
Corrupt Intervention, Infectious Fright, Dark Devotion - Corrupt & Infectious are both meta
Ghost Face
I'm All Ears, Thrilling Tremors & Furtive Chase - I'm all ears isn't "meta" but i see it on almost every huntress player I go against (from my experience)
Demogorgon
Surge, Mindbreaker, Cruel Limits - No Metas
-
You can't really do much against a spirit that is actually good.
The only "counter" is Iron Will, and that's void if they're using Stridor, which most Spirits are.
Your counter is guessing, I hope you're lucky.

Can anyone in here tell me all those pro dev teams that other games have?
DBD seems to be the only community that can't grasp the concept that people don't want to go and work on a game for 12hrs a day to go home and play on the game for 8+ hours a day.
There is rarely I lobby I go into now-a-days where any survivor has less than 1K hours. Expecting that of the devs is ridiculous, I understand a lot of people here don't work full time jobs or are still in school but you guys have to realise it isn't feasible in the slightest.
Trust me, they have an "in-house" team of players from the community that have pre-PTB access to the game who give feedback, who do you think was testing balance / patches before they made PTBs public, I am -pretty- certain that team is still in place.
-
"I'm punishing other players for issues they can't do anything about".
Sounds like the DBD.
-
Several Problems Exist.
- Matchmaking - It's becoming a serious issue that I'm seeing among my lower ranked killers who are just trying to try new things and they are being hit by rank 1s across the board, this happens on both sides but usually it's only one low level survivor in a match
- Map Sizes/Buildings - Some buildings have some very strong loops that shouldn't exist, scale down the sizes of the maps, rework some of the buildings (Crotus Prenn, Rancid Abattoir, Iron Works)
- Mori/Keys - These can both throw off the speed & fairness of a match, there is no reason a killer should be able to set up a three gen and have 3 survivor hop out of the match, and there is no reason a killer should be able to negate entire chases/hook phases just to remove 1, or all survivors from the match*
- Boring Killers - Killers like Clown, Leatherface, Legion powers feel very weak and unenjoyable to play & even play against.
- Exhaustion Addons - While only present on some killers, it's ridiculous to me that a 3K add-on that all killers have dozens and dozens of should completely disable a perk during the chase
- Toolboxes - Obviously they've stated they're working on this and that's good to hear.
*The issue we currently have with survivors is that all of their pink addons/items are mostly useless now, with insta blinds gone, BNPs being utterly destroyed by PGTW, and Syringes not being used we're slowly making survivors spend 7K for items that'll never be used, so I think survivors addons/items could be doing with an overhaul in general.
-
@Mandy said:
I've purchased quite a bit from there, and yes it did take time before the items were sent out - but I received everything that I ordered and the quality was great.

The game is 100x easier for killers than it was 2/3 years ago tbh, and with upcoming changes to tool boxes, and probably more killer buffs, it only looks to get easier

yeah yeah sorry but your statistics which are saying that self care is what was it ? most used perk ? give me a break thanks...
everyone knows DS, BT, DH/SB is survivor combo for years so stop lying thanks..
DS, BT, DH/SB are things you can see being used in game which will mean you will remember them, it's very obvious when these things are used, but someone who gets healed could be a medkit, another team mate, or self care, so of course you're more likely to remember/think/see these perks being used over Self-care
-
Because regardless of whether you want to believe the stats the developers drop, all killers are above 60% killer rate, and taking into account "all the variables" it's incredibly unlikely that these variables would suddenly make the percentage drop below 50%
When the devs first released stats for kill rates (Labelled Escape Rate, so it was counting who left the game, not who was killer) it showed it at around 45% chance of escape, so 55% kill rate.
They then released another graph showing escape rates, and at rank one there was a huge spike in at rank 1, this was explained in summary under the post, which Peanits clarified, the survival rate is below 50% (43% To Be Exact) at rank 1.
And once again, with the THIRD installment of stats, which exclude DCs their kill rate is WAY above 50%
So, in all THREE stat drops the kill rate has been above 50%, always. Regardless of any "variables" you guys may want to conjure up they aren't likely to be even close enough to fudge the results by 15/20%
So bearing all this in mind, if you add a MANDATORY second objective you only look at boosting kill rate significantly, especially for the strong killers.

It makes sense that once you're stalking you no longer need extra time to find survivors.
Not really, with myers you need to stalk to even really get speed to catch up to someone to start a chase, unless someone bumps into you, you could flick your stalk on to try and find someone, the starting phase then finishes and you've done nothing to capitalise on it, it's essentially just like a normal match before it was added.
-
I do like this idea, the start for Ghostface & Myers would have to be different, however, because they could all stalk without even getting into a chase and then decimate, and you can't simply set it to "if these killers stalk turn it off" because they're basically always trying to stalk.

What if you gave us an idea of what the team is thinking? That way the community can voice their feedback early on and assist in the process of design.
Because if they do this, the forum will flood with "I think this is a good idea", "this is a bad idea". Threads, and then the devs may change what they're doing, they'll release it and everyone will go "this isn't what you said you were going to do!".
Similarly to how they said they were mostly going to change addons with nurse, everyone ran with it, then they changed the basekit a bit too much for some peoples likings and everyone went crazy over it, it's best to keep quiet.
-
Any player that makes it their mission to be seen, while I have no issue with T-Bagging, or flashlight flicking, you better make sure you're the worlds best players if you're going to do it because I'll forgo my "down the unhooker" and at least attempt to down you first just to waste your time.
-
I think the issue stems mostly from killers, a lot of them accuse BHVR of "Balancing towards lower ranks". But then you show them high ranked streamer gameplay and killers have a fit saying "you expect me to play like (insert streamer name) when that's all they play" It's just the double standard coming out, is all.

I wasn’t gonna participate in this enlightened discussion until “Killers get a new meta Perk every DLC”.
Im sorry, what? Out of the DLC in the past year alone:
- Spirit’s Perks, as useful as they are, are nowhere near good enough to be meta-shifting.
- Legion doesn’t even have Perks they’re so bad.
- Infectious is only “meta” on Killers like Oni, Billy, or Perma3 Myers. Corrupt is only now becoming meta because now that Ruin doesn’t exist anymore, it’s the best early-game Perk in a Killer’s arsenal.
- Tremors is good, but it’s far from meta. The other two Perks don’t even do anything.
- Demogorgon’s Perks are so pathetic it hurts.
- Oni himself is astoundingly good, but his Perks are okay at best.
Aside from that, PGTW is overrated trash, Huntress’s Perks are just as bad as Legion’s and Demo’s, and Doctor’s Perks never get used unless you’re doing a Monitor-Infectious combo. To say Killers get a new meta Perk every DLC is egregiously false to the point of ridiculousness.
Leatherface: BBQ
Pig: MYC
Clown: POP
Spirit: Spirit Fury
Legion: Discordance
Plague: Infectious Fright/ Corrupt
Ghostface: Not So much but Im All Ears is certainly being used a lot lately
Demo: Nothing
Oni: Nemesis
All of these killers have had perks that are being used VERY frequently across the board.
Doctor was before Huntress/David King, totally irrelevant point, just because YOU don't like PGTW doesn't mean it isn't being used in almost every match since ruins change, and you're really going to pretend like Discordance isn't being used a lot? & I'll give it that demo has nothing, but if you're going to pretend the perks I listed don't have a high usage then you don't play the game very much.

Chase someone? Where did I mention chasing someone?
I very specifically stated the killer spawning from the opposite side of a large map where the 4 survivors spawn on the opposite side. There's no "chasing" to stop the gen pressure. There's not "git gud" from that. Killers can't magically make themselves reach from one side of the map to the other if their power doesn't allow them to do so.
How funny you say killers should just learn to "git gud" and apply pressure while at the same time saying they should just accept that sometimes they start off with having a 2 less gens disadvantage because "it doesn't make a difference", meanwhile, when Survivors get the closest equivalent disadvantage via an ebony mori, suddenly you get very defensive and now, starting off with 33% less "life" suddenly makes a difference.
Yes, you are right, killers can indeed kill without an ebony mori. Guess what -- Survivors can also survive without starting off with 2 gens being done for free with the killer being literally unable to pressure them because of the map design. Funny how that works, eh?

There's not "git gud" from that. Killers can't magically make themselves reach from one side of the map to the other if their power doesn't allow them to do so.Curious, do you have a video of a very good killer, starting a game with two gens completed? I'm just curious, you keep saying these gens are "free" but I've personally never spawned into a match with gens completed, especially if I push survivors off gens.
How funny you say killers should just learn to "git gud" and apply pressure while at the same time saying they should just accept that sometimes they start off with having a 2 less gens disadvantage because "it doesn't make a difference", meanwhile, when Survivors get the closest equivalent disadvantage via an ebony mori, suddenly you get very defensive and now, starting off with 33% less "life" suddenly makes a difference.Very defensive, 33%? If anything it's 66% less life, you're misrepresenting numbers to bolster your discussion, it's two less hooks, so it's 66% life avoided using a mori, it's not defensive, it's facts. Again, killers don't need to "git gud". 2 gens popping doesn't matter, 3 doesn't, 4 doesn't, THEY ALL NEED TO BE DONE for survivors to reasonably escape, not including things like keys because they're far too strong. 4 survivors cannot escape if only 2 gens are done, they can't escape if 3 gens are done, they can't escape if 4 gens are done. The gens really don't matter as much as you make out

Funny how that works, eh?Again, gens being done doesn't = win. They also aren't "free", I go back to the first point, can you show me a good killer who applies incredible pressure just to have two gens pop that they couldn't have avoided? Because I bet 9 times out of 10 the skilled killer still end's up killing 2/3/4 survivors because they're actually decent players and realise the game isn't over until the end screen is up,
The game hasn't been made faster, survivors haven't had a new meta perk since david king (while killers have had a new meta perk every DLC), BNPs were nuked, killers hooking/vaulting has been sped up, there has been 0 changes to the game that would increase gen speed yet all of a sudden the game is "too fast" when it's only been made easier for killers.
-
Selfish-Care*
No, there's been (and even more-so recently) no end of times I've watched myself go into struggle because some random survivor is sat in the corner of the map self-caring while another teammate is being chased.
From my experience, only bad players run it.

If a killer losing 2/5 gens doesn't make a difference, then ebony moris don't make a difference either.
Seriously, you're arguing with cognitive dissonance here. A killer losing up to 160 seconds of time to put on pressure on the survivors for free at the start just because of the map makes a huge difference than killers who start on maps who don't get those 160 seconds.
Lmao what?
Survivors CANNOT reasonably escape a match without doing gens, while it's ENTIRELY possible to win as killer without using an ebony, your comparison is ridiculous.
The way you're arguing you don't think survivors should even be able to do gens, lmao.
"As a killer I chased and hooked a survivor, unfortunately, while I did that, the survivors also completed some of their objective, how dare they"

You do know saying killer should give up 2 gens is more then the equivalent of an EBONY MORI for survivors.
2 gens is 40% survivor objective.
Ebony mori makes it so survivors die on second hook effectively making it reduce the killers' objective requirements by 33%.
So here's my question for you:
Why should survivors get a completion equivalent of an EBONY MORI just based on the map they get?
Sorry, where did I say "Just give up 2 gens" there is plenty of evidence of matches going with 0 gens completed, but that is neither here nor there, not one time have I ever said this, all I said is the game isn't over if two gens pop, but killers act like it is.
You say 2 gens is 40% of a survivor objective, so why doesn't the game end when 5 gens are done? Ohhhhh, because the game isn't finished yet just because the gens are done.

Yup. Totally the player's fault when two generators get done before they could physically walk from one side of the map to the other side.
They should just get better and learn to *walk faster.*
Game still isn't over, but a lot of killers suddenly act like it is, it's very easy to start snowballing after your first hook, I don't even look at gens being done any more because it doesn't matter at all.
It's the same with all those who post Tru3 "gen rush" videos and then by the end of it, the match is 10 minutes long & hes killed everyone, far too many people give up because of gens popping when again, it really doesn't matter.
-
It's easier to blame the game than their own skill, and in piggy backing off "gen rushing" they are completely void of accepting that they probably aren't very good at the game.
Not all killers should be red ranks, but they sure do think that.
-
I know you've been rank one before, or you've at least alluded to that, so the fact you're running ebonies at rank 10 wanting rank 10s to bully means you garner no sympathy from me, I'm glad you're still doing terribly at the game even when running one of the most OP things in the game, lmao.
-
I wish people would stop comparing "Gen Rushing" & "Tunneling".
Survivors can't reasonably escape without doing gens, while killers can absolutely win without tunneling off the hook, of course they can play as they want but they're separate issues and not comparable.

now you make some good counter points so i'll just go over some
2.first of all, why are you comparing this niche game to completely different games other than being online, second of all, I, and some people, are not asking the devs to be good, were asking them to be not bad.
3.You think I WANT them to be mean/bad? No, of course not. (i'm not pulling any of what i've said out of my ass, and has some connections, can't have a theory without anything to back up)
4.The big band-aid fixes are perks. Gens get done to fast? use perks. Having bad loops? use anti-loop perks. To hard to make loops? Use dead hard? Having trouble living? Use DS. And I can go on and on. (Also prove to me that map design are getting better, because all I see is more pallets, larger maps, and lower visibility)
5.This one is quite easy. First, the most the devs do is monthly updates, seems fine, but most of them are "we are still working on ___", which could be used on short weekly post (they announce cosmetics every week, why not also put them on the forums with some small updates on whats going on, they don't need to stream every week. Second, Klei Entertainment does the best update communication in at least the indie scene.(Klei works on games Like Don't Starve and Oxygen Not Included) If something is happening or went wrong, the first thing they do is announce it when their confident, unlike DBD, who seems scared to announce anything to "generate hype". Now ok, if there is a game breaking bug, then DBD devs will announce it. But in most cases, they acknowledge the problem sometimes years after it happens. (remember when it took the DBD devs 4 1/2 months to fix the hook sound bugs?)
8.But they don't need to take years to fix simple bugs like sound and glitching through walls. Also, I think map design is the biggest issue (refer back to no.4 on this post)
9.Could you show me that they expected the backlash BEFORE the stream? (and did they ever address the root problem why nerfing ruin now was a bad idea?)
11.I mean, they do shove it in your face a lot. (every Wednesday, they have a popup of the new cosmetics) They are also slowly starting to stray from earned cosmetics. (i know they need money, every company needs money, but i'm pretty sure a game with mostly 40,000 players at a time isn't THAT desperate.
12.(first, refer to the end of post 5, it did not take years but it took a long time) If you want to get technical, the map design is still pretty bad, and Are ignoring some old perks (even with the recent stream saying that their looking at it). Also Corn maps, Blood Lodge and Haddonfield being WAY to one-sided to survivors to be healthy (most other maps are someone sided to one or the other, but not TOO bad). Just some examples.
13.They need to entirely focus on map design. If map design is better, than the ruin change would not be so bad for killers, and toolboxes would not need to be changed to drastically, in fact, it would make sense. Not sure about you, but I'd be willing to wait for content update longer if it meant fixing map designs, just what I think.
14.They don't need to know every number, they just need to know what "fun" is... Jokes aside, they need to know at least the general rules and idea of the game. (I don't think it's fair that there can be 2 T-L walls that lead to an infinite, or one way, extended basement halls for easy downed survivors (Gas Heaven as an example)
15.Everyone's a critic!
16.But does cosmetic contribute to gameplay? Is this game about fashion? NO. So maybe cut back on the cosmetics a little bit? (I will say, I think we both agree that they just can't turn designers into programmers easily like some people think).
17.Did you make a game before? But most importantly, if I did not know what game development was, then I would of said to change the game in less than a day.
19.I think keeping players is also important too.
20.(refer to my response to @Booper_Of_Snoot in this discussion)
2 - Genre is IRRELEVANT, just because this is a "niche" game does not mean the devs have to be on the same level as the killers/survivors with 2/3/4K Hours, it's frankly ridiculous to expect them to work on a game 12 hours a day and then go home and play it for 6 hours a day.
3 - Your entire post is made up of "he said, she said" you've given to proof of any of these "issues"
4 - No, perks are not "band aid" fixes, do you think if pallets were PERFECT there wouldn't be perks that affected pallets? Do you think if windows were perfect there wouldn't be perks that affect windows? Do you think if gens were perfect there wouldn't be perks that affected gens? of course there wold because it changes gameplay and makes you act a certain way, has nothing to do with "band aids"
5 - Because anything the do could be changed, and if they start making posts you'll all take ir for gospel and when it's changed you'll cry about how the devs lie and how they mislead, it's better to say were working on something then say "this is what we've done"
8 - They have actively brought up sound issues, like in the last stream they did, they are far from ignoring these issues, again, audio has been buggy for a while, but it comes and goes I have 0 audio issues, some people have lots of audio issues, if it's a bug that affects some people and not others it's way harder to just snap up a quick fix
9 - The cheek of asking for evidence while dismissing anyone else asking for evidence like you have done in this post.
11 - Oh no, they have easily dismissable banners showing you what's been added to the game, THE HORROR, again, they have dev teams to pay, it is a game in heavy and active development simply saying "I think they have enough money" simply isn't going to cut it really, and what do you mean they're shying away from earned cosmetics? They literally had some in the last rift????
12 - Theres also maps that are killer sided too so it's a moot point to bash on about specific maps when I've already agreed maps need overhauls
13 - I agree, we need more map changes and they've also acknowledged this, I'm pretty sure, but not certain that they've just reworked a map, may have to look at my notes on that one
14 - I'm not even going to try and talk about this one because you used the word infinites, and they don't exist anymore, it's just your bias showing
15 - So you see my point, any direct info they give, may change, and then everyone cries about how they lied
16 - Cosmetics are fine, they can't just fire the art team, hire more devs and fix everything, if anything introducing fresh hands into the mix would just exacerbate the bugs in the game, the art team do a fine job and you wouldn't have things like the new lerys without them, cosmetics ARE NOT affecting the rate at which things are being fixed.
17 - Again, you used the term "easy fix", you have no idea what their process is like, who's hands are in which pies and who has to ok the changes etc, it's not as simple sa "bump this number", you have to look at it from all sides, some people want monsterous shrine buffed, you can't simply make it kill people even faster because then basement camping just becomes the default
19 - eh?
20 - I'm sorry but cinematic trailers are not false advertising, and they give us a week of PTB to test the killers for free/create videos etc to see how the power plays out, you simply have no leg to stand on for this false advertising, just another thing you want to try and hate the devs for.

It would definitely be better worded "Knock Down Survivors 8 Times" but I think it all means the same in the end.

Not everyone in the playerbase is smart, but not everyone in the playerbase is stupid either
(If i missed anything please tell me)
(I swear to god if this post is labeled as harassment, I lose all hope in humanity)
1 The devs keep targeting updates around new/bad playersHow do they? Nerfing DS because it's a pain at red rank, nerfing pallets because good players could use them too much, changing insta heals because they were being used too much in high ranked gameplay. You see what you want to.
2 We have yet had a reveal of the higher ups even in green ranksSo? How many developers do you ACTUALLY think play at the highest level in their games? Do you see Tim Sweeney competing in Fortnite Tourneys? Do you see the CoD developer pro team at tournaments? Do you see Game Freak playing pokemon at tournaments? The only community that seems to think the devs should be good at the game is DBD and it's honestly ridiculous
3 Devs constantly act passive aggressive to their player base and act like their better than everyoneAgain, you see what you want to, anything they say is looked at with the utmost meticulousness and picked apart for a single wrong word, they have to avoid being direct because you guys make posts like this
4 Focuses on "band-aid" fixed instead of core issuesThe only "Band-Aid" in the game currently is Bloodlust and it's there due to poor map design, which is slowly becoming a lesser issue.
5 Refrains as much as possible to communicate with the communityThey used to do weekly live streams up until they started working on major updates every 3 months that they've set in stone, you'd be hard pressed to find another game that communicates to their player base as much info as BHVR does.
6 Seemingly are focused on only one-sideSeeing what you want to see.
BT, BNPs, Vacuum, DS, Insta Heals, Insta Blinds, Pallet Distribution, Vault Speed, Healing Speed VS Nurse, Spirit, Legion, Ruin.
7 Does not trust anyoneWhat?
8 Ignore pressing issuesIt's called development of an online game, you can't just expect them to change everything at once as it would cause major balance issues unlike any other, they have to take changes slowly and methodically, again, your pressing issues aren't the same as theirs.
9 Thinks everyone in their playerbase are gullible (thinks we will automatically like/hate an update)That's not what gullible means, they even said somewhere that they were expecting huge backlash for the Ruin changes, they anticipated that a large portion would hate the change
10 Has a "game update" schedule that results in rushed content and bugs galoreThere are certainly a good amount of bugs in the game, none of them are usually super impeding or ruin the experience of the game, but I can somewhat agree with this point
11 Treats playerbase like cash-cowsYou are not forced to pay for any of the content, a large majority of it can be earned, they are a business, you are using a product that costs money for them to run even without updates, they absolutely need to make money, you can earn all perks through the shrine and don't need anything else.
12 can take years to "fix" game-ruining problemWhat "Game ruining" problem has taken years to fix? lmao
13 Misunderstands what needs to be changesNo, just because you don't like a change doesn't mean it wasn't needed, this is your bias showing. They've acknowledged plenty of times that maps are bad, toolboxes are bad & that gen slowdown perks combined en masse is boring, these are good things to focus on
14 They do not even know how their game worksEh? Expecting every developer to know every number, every perk, every angle and degree of a game is ridiculous, especially when some of those developers aren't there for the entire development cycle of the game, of course theres going to be some people who can't tell you the exact percentages/numbers etc
15 Only responds to pointless "what if's" and "what is your most/least favorites"Again, because any question answered is something you guys will pick apart for even the slightest of flaw in what they say, or a minor mistake gets picked apart. People were asking for McLean & Almos firing because of some of the stuff that was said on the stream lmao
16 Makes most cosmetics 10 dollars each in fullOh no! Something the artists spent weeks drawing, drafting, conceptualizing, colouring and brining to life COSTS TEN BUCKS & YOU DONT EVEN NEED IT TO PLAY? WOW! What a crime
17 Overthinks of issues that can easily be fixed with a simple number change that can take 1-2 weeks instead of yearsThis is just you not understanding development of a game.
18 Refuse to acknowledge any problemsLike they acknowledged Toolboxes are a problem, or that the DS may be too effective at making you "invincible" or that map are bad?
19 waste resources on licenses, music, and cosmetics instead of the gameplayI know very little people, but I know dozens of those people are playing now because of the licensed characters, so no, you're just flat out wrong.
20 Has been shown to straight up lie to people with false marketingI'd love to see this false marketing you claim.

This topic, again.
The EGC isn't supposed to force anyone to do anything, or force any one to play a certain way.
EGC isn't a tool for either side, it is just an end to a match, a definite end that never used to exist. It does it's job, and thats all it needs to do.
-
The cooldown would make her unfun to play, I do think hitboxes need to be adjusted though.

wait are you trying to make me say things i didn't? or maybe you want to hear? i'm confused here, do you call using an window with no entity blocker and no bloodlust "looping"?
I asked "Do you mean looping", it is a question, you are free to say no, which would dismiss what I said.
However, you do say " inevitably learn how to use them at their advantage", how do you learn "using a window with no entity blocker" and "no bloodlust"? The survivors don't control when you're in bloodlust and also don't control when entity blockers go up, so it's a safe assumption you mean looping, as that's what most killers say survivors "abuse",

I can't see a generator through walls, like the ones in the preschool boiler room or the basement Haddon field one or the one in the coal tower.
If you read my point properly you'd know I never said that I only get red ranks, my point was that Im constantly getting players far above OR far bellow my own skill determined by the game.
The rest of your point makes no bloomin sense as I didn't even bring up ruin, those comparison of arguments is confusing in the context of discussing why the game is unplayable in regards to AUDIO, although in the context of matchmaking it does make some sense but isn't relevant to the point
And no. No I haven't found any survivor's with iron will because in my matches I don't see the perk that frequently - this audio bug essentially builds iron will into the survivors base kit so why would they need to run it?
I can't see a generator through walls, like the ones in the preschool boiler room or the basement Haddon field one or the one in the coal tower.Go look at the generators then, again these audio issues don't make the game unplayable, sure it may be annoying checking every gen but it isn't unplayable.
If you read my point properly you'd know I never said that I only get red ranks, my point was that Im constantly getting players far above OR far bellow my own skill determined by the game.True, but you're honestly telling me, you only get red, or only get brown? lol. and the "point" I made was that killers complain about things but contradict themselves a lot. Like saying red ranks are hard to play against whilst also saying red ranks are full of babies because it's so easy to rank up, or that ruin is needed but also that totems are broken so fast they're useless.
And no. No I haven't found any survivor's with iron will because in my matches I don't see the perk that frequently - this audio bug essentially builds iron will into the survivors base kit so why would they need to run it?and after this, how can I take you seriously? What conspiracy theory will you dream up next? I run iron will, all the people I know run iron will, I also have no audio issues as killer so I definitely notice when people don't run it, assuming survivors aren't running it on the off chance their killer is having audio problems is hilarious, lmfao.

They low-key kinda do.
If I can't hear a survivor I can't track them or find them at all
If I can't hear a generator being worked on I can't pressure it
If I don't get matched against people around my skill level I can't get any better because I'm either being destroyed or getting 4ks against rank 20s
These issues make killer neigh unplayable, not even taking into concideration any timings or match lenghtst. Compared to survivor that is - most survivors can get away with just listening to tunes as audio isn't as important to them, and seeing as most audio bugs affect the killer they're in a stronger position. But the screwed matchmaking affects both sides
So you've never found a survivor who has iron will?
Generators have a visual look to them when they're progressed, too.
and as for the ranking, I've seen rank 16/17s go against red ranks etc, you can't pretend your issue is the game ONLY giving you red ranks 24/7 we all know that isn't the case, and as killers always say, kill rate is only high because all the survivors in red rank are potatoes, it's the same for ruin isn't it
"Totems are always broken within seconds" Vs "Ruin is strong and we need it"
"Red rank survivors are too hard to play against" Vs "Kill rates are only high because it's easy to rank up as a survivor".

I'm saying that at his period almost nobody abused those unbalanced part of the game until survivors inevitably learn how to use them at their advantage, that's when killers had to get better and adapt to their opponents.
What unbalanced things are survivors "abusing" exactly? Do you mean "looping"? Do you think BHVR intended survivors to drop every pallet they come to and go to the next one?

but you forgot the fact that years ago when the game was in this state survivors used to be TERRIBLE compared to these days, looping and time efficiency was not even a thing, people played this game without caring about anything and just enjoyed it.
So what you're saying is only survivors got better and killers just...?

"Players are just too lazy to actually play decently and instead stick their perks on and have an easy time, as soon as their crutch is gone they instantly know they won't be having their hand held."
I enjoy seeing people say stuff like that when the ruin nerf was done for survivors to make it more easy for them so pretty much survivors were to lazy to learn how to play against ruin so the devs had to nerf it?
Rank 1s were not the ones complaining about it, infact I don't think anyone was really complaining about it, the devs wanted to change it because like they said, it's hard to balance the gens when 80% of matches people are running ruin with another slow down perk and making it impossible to see what the actual issue is.
I can't remember the last time I actually read a thread about wanting ruin nerfed.

I'm sorry that playing with bugged audio just isn't fun. I'm sorry that playing playing against red ranks when your a green rank killer isn't fun
You're right, these issues suck, but are far from making the game unplayable.

Well, thanks for assuming things. Very cool of you.
And I am also guessing the game is just fine?
Not at all, maps definitely need to be made smaller, ebonies/iridescent heads/insta saw billies could use with some toning down.
But these things hardly make the game unplayable, the game used to have LITERAL infinites and killers still played well, it used to have instant healing mid chase, it used to have instant BNPs, it used to have instant mories and players still did well.
Players are just too lazy to actually play decently and instead stick their perks on and have an easy time, as soon as their crutch is gone they instantly know they won't be having their hand held.
