Killer is easier atm than it’s ever been. I honestly feel like I am playing against bots most games.I had a good game against a 3 man SWF squad today, but they were too thirsty to sabo my hooks. Only finished one gen before the game was over.
More points, control of the game, if you do poorly only you can be blamed. I’ve enjoyed Killer far more the past year. Even if I make a lot of mistakes, most games it doesn’t matter.
People are blind, they've been buffing killers every patch and call for "weaker SWF". Every killer buff is a survivor nerf, they just don't understand that.
Game is in a pretty good spot rn.

So the meme changed from "4 man SWF aren't that common" to "4 man SWF aren't that hard to beat".
The bar keep getting lowered each day lmao.
Both of these thing are exclusive, I don't think you truly understand what you're saying.
They are still uncommon.
They are still easy to beat.I've always said both of these statements.

ahhh yes, a mechanic intended to solely screw over solo survivors, sounds fun and exciting and entirely fair.

Some of us don't want to slam our faces into brick walls until we're good enough to headbutt through the wall.
We just want to play.
We want to be free to play who we want, not have to be pro grade on a certain killers to have a chance.
We want to run the perks we want.
We don't always want to push ourselves to the limits just to get anything done. Especially in blood points which are often incredibly crap vs a coordinated group often enough. Some of us are casual sorts. It feels like if we are to be able to play casually, and not get wrecked constantly, it has to be against as many people not in a group as possible.
Problem is, even at low ranks, l Iike 16, and 15, (the Halloween event came just after reset, and I potatoed a lot on purpose) there's swfs that just want to bully, and have 5 minute games.
It's impossible to enjoy the game casually with an swf. They have hooks up their asses. They have zero intent on letting the killer have fun, or do much. There may be "easy" swfs out there, but I'm not interested in wasting my time finding them.
You want to be a casual player but get so upset at the thought of losing you think about ramming your face into the wall? ok bud. 10/10 casual

This is why people can't have proper discussions with you @SenzuDuck because you assume too much and use your assumptions to make fallacies about people. However I repeat what I said again with more clarification for you to understand my point of view. I don't care if 4 survivors or 0 survivors escape, just take your win and move on is my motto. Usually survivors will wait for you to hit them out the exit gate when they ALREADY won, meaning everyone is at a exit gate waiting to be hit out the exit. They know that their teammate is safe, they know that they can now leave, but they don't because they wanna waste your time and tea bag to stroke their epeen. This entire thread is about adding a free bloodwarden effect at the end, so if you're going to argue with me about something completely irrelevant to the conversation then move on because I'm not interested.

Currently as is, they can freely do this WITHOUT any kind of repercussions or consequenses as they can freely escape even if the killer comes to force them out.
....but by what you're saying it's completely acceptable that they can waste the killers personal time, because at this point the match is over, because of how it is currently.
@Nickenzie said:
I don't want 4ks tho, I just think it's annoying that you should chase a survivor out when they already won. I'm in the mindset of, "Great job you won, now gtfo!"I completely agree. The survivor players should not have this kind of leverage over any player in the game, where they can litterally take the game hostage and force a player to take action against it, and even if the player in question does so, it's without any kind of possible reward for this player, so not only is it antagonizing the player, it's also demeaning as it's being used to rub the defeat in this particular players face. So in my opinion, either they should be forced out - not by the player but by the games mechanics, or there should absolutely be made some changes to this so that staying in the gate area will carry a risk.
Just walk into the gate for pete's sake it's not rocket science.

@Incarnate said:
In regards to selfcare, that certainly depends on where the survivor in the gated area decides to use the selfcare, secondly a survivor isn't locked in animation like the killer is, they can easily break the animation, even if others are healing them. Besides, if all surviving victims are there, they should be escaping rather than be healing up. The main post isn't about getting free kills, but at the very least still make it reasonably fair, because as it is now, if they're waiting in the gate area, guess what - if they're all healed up then they all going to escape.I don't think you guys understand the difference between "fair" and "this playstyle annoys me". You're implying that it would be fair to lock survivors in if the killer enters the gate area, why, and in what realm is that fair
You're saying killers shouldn't get free kills in the gate area, I agree, but survivors shouldn't on the other hand get a free escape - which they currrently do if they're close enough to the edge of the exit zone and they get downed.
>
Get a free escape? If a survivor goes down at the edge of the exit they've won, there's no doubt about that - they're letting you get some free hits and points in at the cost of their chase emblem, this basically reads as "If a killer and a survivor are in the exit gate area I should have a chance at killing them". Yea sure if they're cocky and stand too far back but if they get hit by you they're giving you points. There should be risk vs. reward involved in staying in the trial, which there currently isn't when staying in the gate area. I get that people want to ensure everyone escapes, but when every survivor is there they should be escaping, instead of baiting and taunting the killer to chase them out - the killer gets absolutely nothing out of it. Furthermore, if the killer doesn't do it, then they can and some will keep the game hostage. It may be you're not experiencing this much but that doesn't mean it's not happening a lot - I get this in the majority of my matches. I'm quite certain this is a widespread issue among the playerbase, so don't be like there isn't a problem, because there is.
They're in the exit gate, it isn't a risk and they certainly aren't being rewarded for being there so this is an absolute moot point, there's no risk and there's no reward as it stands.
The simple fact is this forum thread is about springing up a bloodwarden like barrier just because the killer enters the exit gate area, yet people are also talking about how they don't want to because it's "humiliating" like what on gods green earth? So you'll enter the exit gate as long as you get a free kill but other than that you're too high and mighty to enter it? -

SenzuDuck said:It's a pretty bad idea if I'm honest - if you're genuinely trying to escape and being chased by the killer and he enters the gate area you're locked in for no other reason apart from killers want more easy end game kills.
There could be a timer. If a survivor has been in the exit gate area for let's say 30 seconds then whenever the killer walks in, it gets blocked for the specific survivor until they leave the exit gate area for 10 seconds.
Self care is 32 seconds, again a killer doesn't deserve the kill just because a survivor wanted to heal in a gate and then suddenly he appears, survivors locked in for healing and then dies because they used the safety of the gate to heal and maybe go in for saves.
again, another thread where killers want free ######### for themselves for something that happens in a miniscule amount of games, I honestly cannot remember the last time I had a survivor stay in a match with my for longer than it took them to find the hatch.
you're all acting as if 4 man squads are squandering in the gate every match, and then act as if walking towards them is a chore and it's "demeaning" to push them out, grow a set kiddos - the survivors are against you, if they can waste 10 seconds of your time forcing you to push them out they will.

Based on people's comments, it sounds like we would run into some of the same exploits/mechanics people are already doing/using. This doesn't sound like a result of the game mode, more a product of the current game itself.Anyway, I think it would lend an entirely different strategy to both sides. This way, us Killer's wouldn't be able to complain about swf anymore. But more importantly, it would give killers a fun option to run WITH their friends instead of against.
Probably just a tech issue at this point (good point @Freudentrauma).
Except it's not the same at all.
With camping it's defeatable because you can do gens and escape on a camping killer, if you have two killers you enable an automatic death while still being able to protect generators with another killer.
-
Record, DC, Report.
-
I still don't understand why people think this is a good idea.
Imagine a world where one killer runs Agitation & Iron Grasp and carries that survivor to the basement, and the other killer body blocks the basement causing an obvious death, while the other killer goes around patrolling gens, SOUNDS REALLY FUN.
-
I don't think it should be true for flashlights but I do think the window should be slighter longer for pallet saves - sometimes when the killer has like 100+ ping they've moved before you get a chance but they can either do it or not I'm not bothered.

Sitting at the gate like that is pretty on the line of toxic, though.Stop - why is everything a survivor does toxic? Waiting in the gate to make sure everyone else is safe is not toxic at all, just quit it.
It would be insanely helpful in getting the killer to the next game instead of forcing the killer to do a chaseout which is basically rubbing salt in the wounds.
If someone is in the gate it's very easy to walk towards them to get them to exit. There has to be better ways to prevent hostage games than just "oh these survs wanted to make sure everyone was alive thats toxic and they should be trapped in the game because of that".
There's not a whole lot of other ways to slice sitting at the gate that way. Doing it to taunt the killer -is- toxic, and frankly, it's hard to see it as anything but trying to taunt the killer.
What's wrong with taunting the killer? The entire time a match is going on is spent wasting the killers time - if you're at a gate and the killer would rather stand there and chase you out you're allowing your other team mates to open the other door or find hatch, there is nothing bad about that, killers just want to moan - obviously.
It's not often for extra points because they'll often run before they even get hit. What ever good intents there may have been has long been corrupted.
Wasting the killers time is again one of the points of a survivor - so their team mates can get other stuff done, I don't see it as toxic.
The less the survivors can hold the game hostage, the better, and believe me, until you do the chase out, they will generally hold it hostage. Which, again, is pretty toxic.
Very rarely have I ever had someone spend more time in a match than it was necessary for them to find the hatch, this is once again a less than 5% thing that happens that people want op buffs for, just stop.
This is a game where the killer is supposed to be feared. The Survivors are supposed to want to run out of the gate at some of the earliest opportunities, staying behind under -heavy risk- to be altruistic. Not to go snag a chest, not to get chased out a dozen seconds later, etc. Anything other than running, screaming for safety, or a massive risk towards altruism is basically unacceptable.
I don't care if the killer is supposed to be feared, this is absolutely ridiculous - after someone has played 100/150+ hours it doesn't matter what the killer has, those players have seen everything and just wont fear it - stop expecting killers to be feared by players who have played a lot.
I dare say if not blood warden, then there needs to be a NOED, and Mori on someone staying in the gate too long. Or just getting thrown out into the survived screen.
Again - what's with the "staying in the gate" for too long thing? If you're honestly stood in the gate for three seconds waiting for a theoretical power to activate to benefit you, you could have spent those three seconds running towards the survivor and they would have left - it makes no sense at all.
Maybe extend it outside the gate a bit to help prevent people waiting just outside the gate.
Waiting for other players to be safe isn't something that should be punished tbh, just run towards the survivor. Stop thinking you deserve free kills because survivors are waiting for people to be safe, it's absolutely bonkers.
I'm not sure you get what it says about the people sitting in the gate forcing a chase out.
You want free abilities to activate just by you sitting there, why not instead of wasting time sitting there, just follow them out - problem solved.

Then the issue becomes if the survivor has to crawl out.
Maybe put an exemption so it only blocks healthy, and injured?I don't know, I just don't think it's necessary - any gate-baiting survivors will usually leave if the killer walks into the gate/towards them in the gate, with this addition to killers base kit survivors will just leave anyway and I don't think it'll be helpful at that point.

@SenzuDuckI don’t even know where to begin with the bullshit that’s spewing out of your mouth.
Firstly, you have never seen the the scared little Claudette who’s hiding behind tree because she’s unsure where the Killer is? Most of all if it Wraith, or Myers? Yeah, plenty of times I’ve seen Survivors popping squats behind a tree doing ######### nothing cause they are unsure where the Killer is even though he’s MILES away. So i’ll take your damn bet, cause there are PLENTY that are that thick. Which is one of the premises this game was built on “Horror based on the uncertainty”.
Are you literally that dense? Read what you just wrote. Calling out to your mate who has We’ll Make It so that NO OTHER Survivor runs up and unhooks WITHOUT it ensures you get it. I’m not talking about after the unhook, I’m talking about making sure he person that DOES the unhook is the right person. I run We’ll Make It, it's part of my standard build.
Do you know how many times I’ve gotten annoyed cause someone races me to the hook and does the unhook and I can’t use We’ll Make It. Then the Killer comes back and we can’t heal them in time, and I say “Could have healed him to full if I got the unhook with We’ll Make It...”? That chance of that happening is nearly zero if you are on SWF with comms (or not, even if you’re not, you can be designated the team’s medic among you’re friends and everyone leaves you to do the unhooks).
Irrelevent? You have got to be shitting me. How is it irrelevant that instead of wasting a whole minute running around the map looking for your team mates to heal you, you can just say “Meet me at location X and i’ll heal you” in 20-30 seconds? Wasting not even half the time looking?
Totem spawns may suck, but if you beat someone off it chances are randoms aren’t going to haul ass straight from the other side of the map going “hmm he hit him over there, his totem must be there!” It may not last a whole lot longer, but you can be damn sure it would last longer if it wasn’t called out to every single persons on the damn team it’s EXACT location.
Dont bother with your petty little bullshit about “you’re just whining”. Everyone knows that’s your cop out deflection you spew out every time you get your ass backed into a corner. You toss some petty personal attacks on their ability to play the game to try to tilt the person.
I never said I needed help, but hey, again, shove words into my mouth again like you always do. Keep making ######### up to fit your narrative, you’re good at that. I’m speaking completely for a game balance direction, it has absolutely nothing to do with how well or bad I do, or you do for that matter.
Again, STOP PUTTING WORDS INTO MY MOUTH BOY! I never said the “developers are against Killers”. I said they made a mistake, and have to fix that mistake by making SWF an balanced game option to pick over solo Survivor.
I’m going to get straight to the point of the matter, the game is not balanced for SWF. Just SWF alone, not even factoring in voice comms. Survivors play SWF don’t have to worry about if their team mates are good or bad. THEY KNOW cause it’s their friends. They don’t have to think and question if their team mates play style synergizes well with them, THEY KNOW it does. They don’t have to guess who’s running what perks, THEY KNOW. Just SWF alone gives advantages over randoms that the game was not balanced for.
Voice comms just exacerbate that even further with the equivalent of several information perks for free including OoO, Small Game, Empathy, Bond, ect. It also optimizes game mechanics such as “Almost done with last Gen, someone get ready and wait at the gate” “Everyone stay on Gens, I’ll go for the hook save” and the list goes on.
It is completely irrelevant if the Killer is good or bad, or if the Survivors are good or bad. SWF is an advantage over solo randoms the game WAS NOT balanced for. It DOES NOT matter if the Survivors are potatoes and are unable to utilize the advantages SWF gives well enough. The potential power afforded by SWF is far enough to warrant counter measures and restrictions placed on SWF groups (and only the members of the SWF group, based on how many are in the group) to keep the balance of the game in check.
You do NOT get to have free advantages and no draw backs just because you picked a SWF over Solo Que. Not only is it not fair or balanced toward Killers, but it’s also not fair or balanced toward solo Survivors.
Do everyone here a favor and stop putting words into other people’s mouths. Stop acting like people are just “whining” about their personal performance when they are addressing legitimate balance concerns. You don’t care about game balance at all, you just want to hop on here and ######### talk other people can call them bad at the game over and over to feel “superior”. Quit stroking your ego. It’s shallow and annoying.
Raising concerns about legitimate balance concerns is supporting the game by the way. If the developers didn’t listen to any feedback at all, you’d have a player base that is disappointed with the game. Which would equate to less referrals from current players to possible new players, bad reviews, less players, ect. It’s called constructive criticism to improve the quality of the product to appeal to more potential players, as well as satisfy existing players so they continue to support and play the game.
Myself and others stay because the developers actually listen to our feedback, even negative feedback and improve the game. It has VASTLY improved and I am more than happy to tell the developers they are doing a great job. Ever since their split from Starbreeze they have done wonderful things, I will continue to give my feedback, both criticism and positive so they can take it into consideration and work to improve the game. If you don’t like it, there’s the damn door. Nobody cares if some ego stroking narcissist who’s got nothing constructive to say, and only exist here to put others down leaves.
Y I K E S.
One day you'll be better at the game my dude - reading this was absolutely the toughest thing I've had to do all day. -
The amount of free hits I've had off survivors because they potato a 360 totally outweighs the amount of times I've missed hitting them.

Just as I can tell you can’t see past your obvious Survivor Bias.
SWF on voice comms felling their mates “Hey, he’s chasing me, go for Gens” or “Hey, I’m at the Killer shack looping him and won’t go down for a while, do Gens or break his totem.” “He’s going to get me soon, someone get close to come save me off the hook.” It has plenty to do with chases. If you’re going to tell your mates to do his or that so they do absolutely everything optimal, then the chase needs to be compensated for so it’s not the same and isn’t as perfectly optimal beyond normal capabilities.
Implying that solo survivor are so thick they don't do gens when the killer isn't near them what the actual world do you live in? Do you think solo survivor just run around aimlessly when they're paired with SWF players or do you think they do gens and totems?
I'd bet money they do gens and totems.
Again, if someone is looping someone around the shack, whether the other players know it or not they're probably doing gens and totems, not running around aimlessly, I really don't understand what you're saying here? Do you think survivors only do gens when they know exactly where the killer is?
Healing Speed - “Mike, come get me since you run We’ll Make It.” “John And Mary, meet me at X location to heal me”
If a survivor is running we'll make it you'll get a pop up anyway, and is only relevant if that person has the save, you can't tell your mate running we'll make it to come heal you with we'll make it unless he's just saved you or someone. Huge face palm, solo survivor are already given this information when they're saved, again - isn't affected by SWF.
Sure, you could coordinate with your friendos to heal, but again if a survivor is injured, the killer has either lost them or they've just been unhooked - irrelevant to SWF once again because if the killer is knowhere near it doesn't matter whether they were healed by self care, a survivor or a medkit - you'll not capitalise on the injury because you've lost them or aren't near them.
Totems and trap disarm - “His totem is at X location, everyone try to get it until he goes for someone, then someone break it” or “He’s guarding his totem at X location, everyone Rush Gens while I keep him worried about it and busy” “Trapper laid trap at X location, I’m looping him over here, go disarm it”
Totems are absolutely awful and that's a completely separate issue - as SWFs are the unstoppable force that they are guarding a totem for the killer is a loss in and of it self, if they're more worried about losing a single perk than gen progression they're simple a bad player and is not at all affected by SWF. Sure you can call out totem location - but by that point someone already knows where it is.
I didn’t say they we’re an unbeatable force, I said it’s not balanced. Stop putting words in my mouth to fit your arrogant little narrative, boy.
Lol, you seem a little upset, would you like to lay down and I'll read the book all about "being better at a game and not whining". How would you suggest balancing it?
You cant stop laughing cause you're incapable of thinking beyond your immature little attitude. I honestly shake my head every time you post because 9/10 times is some immature little dribble. You’re wholly incapable of having and sort of reasonable discussion, simply because anytime you get backed into a corner you simply start throwing petty “Well your just bad” insults.
Any reasonable discussion? I always take every paragraph and reply to it within reason, if you're looped for an entire game, you're bad, that's how it is. If every 4man swf you come across obliterates you, you're bad that's it. There are killers who don't need all this help like you clearly do.
You you want the advantage of voice comma, fine, take the balancing factor restrictions that come with it so the game is balanced for the Killer you’re facing. That way it’s not as far a disparity in power between solo and SWF play.
I don't even play with voice comms which makes this even more humorous, i'm arguing for something I don't even use in my day to day playing because it isn't a massive issue like you all make it out to be.
On on a final note : If it’s true that solo survival rate is abysmal and SWF is so high, this will do nothing but decrease that disparity and make it more fair and even so solo survivors don’t feel so cucked.
I honestly don't really care - I just feel good being able to play a game and not have any cry baby attitudes towards it. I don't need my hand holding, I don't need killers to 4K every match I just have a laugh. I really wonder why a lot of you still play this game considering the sheer amount of complaining you do, if the devs are truly against killers why are you even here? It sounds so out of this world to me that you have so many issues with a game but continue to support it.

I on very rare occasion don't get anyone. It's is very rare. I usually get 1 almost guranteed. I would love stats to show this.
I would expect my Rank 2 and Rank 1 stats are this:
Killing 0 survivors - 2%
Killing 1 survivor - 5%
Killing 2 survivors - 25%
Killing 3 survivors - 40%
Killing all 4 tryhard trash survivors - 28%I bet it is something very much to this with me. give or take 3-5%
You get so many of these people boasting about how good they are and they're great rank one killers, if it's so hard why are they all rank one. If they're getting 2/3 kills per match they're winning it's as simple as that.
They just want to be strong enough to 4K every match and be done w/ it. -

SWF is essential to this game. That is fine.It needs this.
It also needed to have strong, powerful killers to deal with this. Which we're getting close to.
The sad part is... what is happening since June... should of been happening last fall.
They were about 6 months behind on balance and stuff.
Killers are more powerful overall, and a mediocre killer can deal okay with a SWF team.
However, a rank 1 SWF team of 4 is still deadly and it takes a very good killer to deal with them, but this isn't every game.
I consider myself a good killer with great moments, and I eat SWF for breakfast. So whatever.
You get it man - honestly the amount of actual 4-Man SWFs that play with the intent to have every survivor out is so damn negligible, they're healthy for the game imo - a killer should have matches where they get 0 kills it's just natural in a Vs match, some times you come out ontop, sometimes you dont

This tired old argument?Yeah, SWF was intended, but the developers pushed it too early first of all, and the game was even less balanced for it at the start. Hell, It still isn’t balanced for it. The developers had to make a choice, balance for SWF using voice comms, or balance for the solo players. They chose the latter, cause they didn’t want to cuck solo players. This is turn made SWF using voice comms an unbalanced mess.
Just as McLean said “Nobody said it was supposed to be balanced”. He literally admitted they’ve made decisions that unbalanced the game. SWF is one of them. It’s has the potential to be a game breaking mode in the Survivors favor.
They need to place limitations and restrictions on SWF groups, escalating these restrictions based on on how many memebers are in the group, the more there is, the heavier the restrictions. That way they can balance for the advantage of using voice comms, while not harming solo players. Something like one less perk, running speed is reduced by 5%, healing speed it reduced, totem cleanse speed and trap disarm speed in reduced, etc. Just little tweaks to values that would weaken the SWF players, but be negligible/no effect toward solo players that get matched with SWF members.
Yawn.
Well, I can tell you have absolutely no idea about balance"Running speed reduced by 5%"?
Chases are in no way shape or form affected by SWF - if you're chasing one person the entire match and don't go after anyone else how is that an SWF issue? Thats a bad killer issue, good lord."healing speed it reduced"
Use perks that affect this, if everyone you injure is escaping you, guess what pal - you're bad at the game it's as simple as that."totem cleanse speed and trap disarm speed in reduced"
Why, what have these things got to do with SWF, again?Good killers don't come to the forums to ask for every buff under the sun, good killers just play and slay.
Stop acting like SWF is an unbeatable force that no one can compete with, they're very very beatable.I can't stop laughing at the "reduce run speed by 5%" that's hilarious.

It literally doesn't matter what you actually said. He'll pick and choose what words to remember and make up some others to fill in the gaps.
yup, thats why i said we can stop now.
Clearly this is leading nowhere. I delivered him examples where he got rekt as a strong killer, I explained why his examples were not competent SWF.I am fine, I dont need to persuade anyone and I kinda accepted that the game will never be balanced anyway^^
"rekt" yea, sorry when I started playing the game I wasn't immediately decimating. It's normal to have bad games, this again shows that you think only 4Ks matter as you seem to have an issue with anyone getting less than a 4K having an opinion on the game.

Are they going to make it where when survivors die they can't see the killers perks and ad ons till end of game? So that SFW can't tell the others what perks the killer has when they die.Why would they do that? It doens't benefit survivors at all...
The killer buffs don't benefit survivors either but they keep doing it.
Carry on pushing the ol "They only do things for survivors" narrative. -

Just ignore guys who only get personal instead of having a proper argument.
They will push you down to their low level and beat you there because of there bigger experience of trashtalking.I always feel vindicated when someone is insulting me if they run out of arguments

Says the guy that goes into my twitch clips to try and say I don't play killer, please tell me who is personal.
-
@Master said:
I only searched for clips as I said.
Ofc I dont go through thousands of hours
What happened in the games I linked though. You were playing one of the strongest killers and yet lost considerably, just a bad game from you I guess?

Yes, people have bad games, it's not an issue. I really don't understand your point here?
Also the clip is from nine months ago it means literally nothing, I had a bad game NINE months ago.Regarding your timesteps.
First timestep - survivor waiting at the first pallet.... clearly not competent, next one
"hey this match doesn't matter because I don't think this player is competent"
I don't think killers that get looped for 5 gens at bloodlust three are competent but here you are, telling us how bad the game is.Second timestep - survivor is afk? Not sure how that hit in the shack was possible, maybe he just picked up the phone lul?
Why are you grading my matches? You're here to refute I play killer, acting as if I shouldn't have a say because I don't play killer, lol.
I see where this is leading.
I am not claiming that you cant beat any SWF, I am claiming that its the competent SWF that break the game.
What you're claiming is that players that are better than you shouldn't beat you because you're the big bad killer and you should pwn everyone.
Now that im typing this I am curious what rank these survivors were at because they were that horrible that I cant believe that they are rank 1 (even in the busted rank system).
.....OK skipped to the end of the freddy game (you believe that freddy needs no buffs lol?)
What do I see?rank 2
rank 6
rank 6
rank 15Uhm ok.... gg easy I guess, time to nerf freddy

Which, by what you guys say they're clearly an SWF and therefore should have been unbeatable, right? a rank 2,6,6 & 15? Clearly an overpowered team of four SWF communicating communists with unlimited power get 3Kd by a freddy?????!!??!?!?!?!!?!?! WHAT?!??!?!?! that... that should be impossible, no SWF is beatable, especially against freddy?

Just because the devs say it in a stream doesn't mean it's the truth.Yes because everything they say is a lie unless it suits what you want them to say.
But it's me living in my own world, right? -

I would consider my complaints to be productive criticism. Because I always explain WHY something is bad or OP or weak, etc.
Instead of just writing nonsense and insult people. Can you say the same?
I like to think I'm obviously a beacon of truth, it's clearly evident on the forums who are the bad players because they're here on the forums making posts every day about how they get bullied by survivors or asking for weird buffs to anything and everything.
This is a post simply asking what people think about SWF actually being intended and not something "thrown in" for demand.

In the reality everyone else lives in, no he can't. In his self-created victim world; that's all he does.
lol wut? Yea dude - I always play the victim.

@Tsulan said:
No comment on what I wrote?
K then.Tsulan, you're probably one of the biggest complainers of mechanics on this forum - it would be an absolutely waste of anyones time to try and tell you why this game is holding killers hands at the moment, there is no end to the amount of killer buffs that are going into this game, and that's fine I have no issue with it.
What I do have an issue with is killers that are bad at the game complaining about ANYTHING.
It's long been touted on this forum that SWF wasn't meant to be in the game and it was unintentional and an after thought because people begged for it. Now that it's factually incorrect and it was always coming people are to complain even more so about SWF because "Muh game ending coms". -
@Tsulan said:
Nice choice of words.
No, the game isn't built around bad killers that need their hand held.
It's built around bad survivors that need their hand held. SWF is exactly that. It boosts bad survivors to ranks they don't belong, which gives the impression that SWF isn't that strong. On the same it boosts good survivors to death squad levels. And stop picking on @Master.
EVERY killer has been looped for 5 gens in his life. No exceptions.
Now it's harder, because they nerfed BNP, and removed infinites. But every killer has experienced this at least once.Lol, it's no different when You, Lowbrain, Master, RSB etc all had conversations with me all the same time etc.
Also, he goes and picks some year old clips to "dispute" I play killer when he could just look a few streams back of me playing killer. -

They said that they always intended for people to play with your friends and that Voice Comms weren't intended, but they can't stop them. "Cheat mode" still stands.Lol
Game Developer Adds Friend Coop Mode - "Nah, comms definitely isn't intended in this friends only mode, not at all"
-
@Master said:
Just remembered that you are a streamer and checked your channel.
Opened your clips and were only able to find 2 killer clips from this year. Seems like you mostly play survivor, but maybe your viewers dont clip killer moments, I dont know.I found a few killer clips though:
https://clips.twitch.tv/DoubtfulDeadNewtYee
https://clips.twitch.tv/AgreeableQuaintBeanDxCat
https://clips.twitch.tv/ElegantPatientDumplingsOhMyDog
Then a clip where you 4k with nurse, nice, but seems like you struggle a lot, even with billyMaybe you are just not a good killer if you dont manage to 4k all the time, I dont know

I've never claimed I'm good, I also don't need to 4K every match to have fun - I've always said winning isn't about 4King
https://www.twitch.tv/videos/320518169?t=05m58s
https://www.twitch.tv/videos/319718948?t=12m33s
https://www.twitch.tv/videos/319718948?t=26m02s
https://www.twitch.tv/videos/319718948?t=42m52sBut there you go, my internet has been down so not been playing DBD but I guess it only took me seconds to find those - you clearly didn't look hard enough.
Again - I don't think 4King means anything + I've never said I was good....
also like to add all your clips are from months and months ago, one of them was like the week freddy came out - hilarious.

Its voice coms not swf that's the component of unbalance. As is its a strategy buster to the killer. Map wide communication destroys the killer's attempts to apply pressure and divert attention from the gens. Use teamwork all you want, that's how your meant to win, but coms promote a level coordination that would otherwise rarely be seen. Are you implying that they added a game mode for friends and didn't anticipate people talking to each other? SWF is fine, and while I don't play SWF with comms it's also fine, it's not a game ender at all.

@ZombieGenesis said:
Good Killers beat Bad Players. Good SWF beat Good Killers every time. If you dispute that as a fact there's really no reasoning with you.It absolutely isn't a fact at all, lmfao.
And using this example, not every SWF is good, so they're perfectly beatable, but again - lets pretend they're all OP and unmatchable. Also love the good old "if you don't agree with me theres no point discussing it" - what a cop out.
-
@Master said:
And yet they adress facecamping/camping: Why do they do that? Because it is annoying AF to play against. They addressed it because it's boring gameplay, and is completely negatated by a survivor being close to the hook, so many killers "I only camp because theres another survivor close" so - if you're camping because someone is close you'll be fine, right?
and will ruin your day even if it only happens once every day.
Ohhh noooo, you had a bad game and it ruined your entire game?! Thats a you issue, not a game issue - getting salty because a team bested you is not "boring" gameplay, you just couldn't handle the challenge.
Same applies to those SWF. Am I supposed to DC in those games where the game isnt balanced? Just a question

I don't know what this implies, you can DC if you want, you'll probably be banned eventually - if you're being hard camped the match is already over, if you're playing against an SWF the game isn't over it's just as beatable as any other match that day it's up to you to decide how you handle it, if crying and dcings and posting on the forum asking for nerfs is your way about it go ahead, but other people, good killers will continue to decimate every SWF put infront of them.

How many of us would opt into a "no SWF" playlist? I'm seriously asking because I would actually prefer to play against a smaller group of even a few hundred in total than see another SWF group who uses voice chat.
Obviously, because why play the "harder" mode, lol.
Still, pretending SWF teams are impossible to beat seems to be the consensus and it simply isn't true.
Most SWF groups aren't as bad as most generally assume. I've had several games where if I hadn't checked profiles a SWF duo would've gone unnoticed by me. It's just the handful of nightmares like the De-pip squad and the few others that use comms like a SWAT team that warrant concern.
Sure, a lot of SWF are compltely potatoes because they boosted each other to a rank where they dont belong.
But even if I 4k a toxic SWF, I simply dont have fun in those games and will do my best to avoid them now.
And against the "SWAT" SWF, well sometimes I go afk and start a deranking series if sth like this happens^^
The game isnt built around optimal play which is quite sad if you ask meThe game isn't built around bad killers that need their hand held at every opportunity to be honest. You'll rarely get a "SWAT" swf team and even if you do you're getting angry at an intended mechanic because you're having a hard time dealing with it.
Because something happens "rarely", it is balanced?
because you shouldn't be balancing a game around something that happens in probably less than 5% of matches, just like they shouldn't balance things around facecamping/camping because it happens in less than 15% of matches.

Just curious but why so protective of SWF. If there isn't any real advantage to it shouldn't any changes be minimal to those groups?
They can nerf it all they want, I don't play SWF with comms because I only play this game while streaming so don't have people in my voice chat w me, we still do fine, it's nothing to do with SWF it's just that bad killers are so rampant at ranks 1-10 and then come here and act as if a few good players used super uber covert tactics to ruin their match when in reality it's some plebs talking about what they had for dinner having a laugh.
