Spinechill is especially valueable for solo survivors. It can give you an early warning when the killer switches targets to you, it help against spirits as spinechill as it works against her spirit real. You basically can't get gengrabbed and also sometimes it just gives you that little bit of extra speed you need on a gen to finish it before it gets popped or to vault that one window you need (6% increase is nothing to cough at here)
-
Hex:Ruin, the new one just boosts killers that already have mapcontrol and didn't need old ruin to begin with, it only widend the gap between strong and not strong killers.

*visable confusion*

I know people don’t like what the Devs decided but that’s just how it is.People Need to stop expecting things be handed out to them like Halloween candy.
I don't feel like the problem comes from it being a challenge i think it comes from the asymetric ammount of effort.
Its not that people don't mind having succed in the trail its the fact that survivors need to do way more than killers in that regard.
-
I actually found out how to reproduce the Oni bug. You need to have a downed survivor and a charged power. Use the power and immedietly after going into it pick up the survivor. Go to the next hook and hook the survivor. If done corretly the passive recharge rate of Onis power should have filled it up, exept you can't use it anymore.
-
Ok so on average you get 0.072 shards per exp. (according to DBD wiki)
each exp point is 1 second of ingame time. Purple skins cost 7200 shards soooo
7200 devided by 0.072 equals 100000 (seconds) or roughly 27 hours, 46 minutes and 40 seconds.
However this was only factoring in gametime. If you want to minimize Playtime you should only play two games a day and get the daily killer and survivor bonuses of 300 exp for each.
this is way harder to exactly calculate but lets just say each game takes about 10 is minutes~ and you fully max out the exp counter at 500 each round (oh yes you can only get 500 exp per round)
Soo 0.072 times 800 to get the ammount of shards per game = 57.6
7200 / 57.6 is equal to 125 what means you would need to play 125 games
with the current estimate of an average game being 10 minutes you would need 1250 minutes or around 20 hours and 50 minutes flat.
So Tl;dr
You will need roughly 21 hrs to 28 hours for 1 part of a purple cosmetic set.
-
Remeber that you get 300 exp for your first killer/survivor match each day. If you do that over the next 14 days (that the rift is still here) thats 8.400 bonus exp, i know its not much but atleast it shaves off like 10.5 games
Edit: Also with the Event comming up tomorrow these levels will feel like nothing XD your gonna blast though them.

As we explained, we are unable to return the lost items individually to players - so in fairness to all players we've made these items available for everyone.
Sadly, we are not able to return Legacy items and these will not be made available.
This is just paradoxical. I lost my Legacy items, many did, but they are not comming back ok. But the Paradoxical part is people lost their Event cosmetics and now everyone is getting them to compensate for a minority.
Bvhr is not just a Clown its the entire Circus.

Clown, Demo is completly fine but Clown is really really not great and should be changed in some way. As it is he becomes extreamly strong with addons but is very weak without them.

I prefer the "Kick 50 generators/break pallets" to the "Hit 15 hatchets in ONE MATCH" tbh.
50 gens, you can get over the course of normal play. It's unlikely you won't make some progress in each match.
I did that challenge first try XD, might just be me being a huntress main though.

@Aven_Fallen said:
You cannot compare Legacy to those Event Cosmetics. The effort was way different.
problem is everything else is the same
Limited time? Check
People lost it due to bugs? Check
Devs can't verify who has legit once? Check
Everything exept the Effort is similar, and since the effort of players that got the Event cosmetics gets devalued the dedication of Players getting legacy can surely be devalued aswell.
Or both remain locked.

I've only been officially tested for Deuteranopia. Eyequeue says moderate Deuteranopia, moderate Protanopia, and no Tritanopia. So while it'd be cool to be able to say I'm in the 1% of something, I'm unfortunately thinking it's more generic than that. Though, come to think of it, I wonder if it's rare to have multiple color deficiencies at once...
Kind of cool to talk about this though!
Edit: went back and looked at the results more, I was one point off of having moderate Protanopia and that's been more my experience, so I'm going to say moderate.
Interesting i wasn't aware you could have Deuteranopia and Protanopia at the same time. I would still imagine having a combination of them both is rare.

Thought I do not suffer from Colorblindness, one of my favorite streamers sometimes says he has Red Colorblindness. I'm just curious if it is easy or not to employ visual functions to help those people.
Well it would help already if we could set the aura colors ourselves or if there would be alternative options for certain colorblindess. Riot has this in their games for examble. In Valorant you can change the color outline of enemys to other colors, what i had to do because i could not differentiate between enemy and friend. And i doubt it would be that hard to implement considering we had stuff like differnt colored hooks on events i would imagine its just an RGB Value that would have to be tweek but again i don't know about dbds code myself, maybe its way more complicated for them to implement.
A point of discussion i think would be blood. Blood on pretty much all outside maps is impossiable for me to see without bloodhound (thats why that perks exists probably lmao) i wanted to test a bunch of games with the NVIDA setting mentioned by Mandy though, trying to see if that works but still not everyone does have an NVIDA graphics card.

I ironically don't fit in any of the actual things (mild red/green and mild blue/yellow, but not as washed out as textbooks tend to show them), but this is the closest it comes. I can see scratchmarks (usually, the dull ones can blend in), I can see hooks, I can easily see the auras of teammates via kindred, etc. The hard parts are the gen auras/totem auras/trapper trap auras as killer...those are dull enough red that I have a really hard time seeing them on some maps. It's gotten to the point I've stopped playing Trapper as much because I got tired of not being able to find some of his traps.
Oh, and blood. Blood is useless to me on outdoor maps without bloodhound. Indoor maps generally it's a bit easier to see and follow the blood.
You seam to have Tritanopia just a guess though. That is actually increadiably rare. Only less than 1% off humans are effected from what i could gather.

@Mandy said:
I am very colour blind and yes it does affect me greatly in game. I have to use the Nvidia colour blind filters when playing as killer as I can barely see scratch marks...I know they are supposed to be red but due to the issue with my eyes they virtually disappear into the ground (indoor maps are a bit easier).
oh, i wasn‘t even aware of this existing
though really i have no clue about the games inner workings but i would think personally that it can’t be so hard to make us customize stuff like Aura-Coloring.

He is definetly strong, especially on these diehard Legacy 3 skillbillys, how i think Oni Spirit and even Nurse (i know controversail) are still stronger than him in total, Oni mainly because unless you suck you will get the down, other than billy where he can be outplayed more easily

They actually did not. The "headshot" was a bug from early dedicated server tests where her Hatchet hits would accidentally register twice (resulting in an insta-down). There never was any kind of "head" to be hit.
Regardless, I'd leave that part out. If the hitbox is tall instead of wide, the Axe would probably just register this "Headshot" every time it hits due to its height.
True maybe your right, there shouldn't be a headshot than, i will edit the og post

@APoipleTurtle said:
Okay, so what happens when Huntress gets her Axe lodged somewhere she can't reach? Or what if it clears the walls of the map? Is she just screwed with no attack for the remainder of the trial?
How fast does the Axe move? (Since it IS much larger than a hatchet). How big is its hitbox in comparison to her normal power? How far does it penetrate through survivors?
And how are you going to define what counts as a "headshot" when her Axe is nearly as large as a survivor?
No offense, but this just sounds like Iridescent Head with a lot more convoluted steps. I'm sure you intended this as a cool new way to play Huntress that would ideally reward skill, but the reality is that most players would likely just use this as a one-shot melee attack in chase (like how Iri-hatchets are already used). The fact that you could combine the two to gain a ranged one-shot with a potentially massive hitbox and penetrating power would definitely lead to some frustrated survivor mains.
Plus, this would require a lot of Dev time from BHVR. They would need to add in new animations and mechanics for Huntress to be able to do this, as it doesn't adjust her power, it replaces it (with the Axe). Freddy is the only current killer with two powers, but the devs got away with using his old animations (and similar mechanics) between both of them.
Their hitbox models would also have to be changed, as they are currently "Pills" with no "head" for the killer to specifically hit.
As i said the Axe automatically returns after 20 seconds no matter what happens just in case it gets chucked somewhere, where you can't reach it.
The axe is probably slower has not nessacerly a wieder hitbox but more of a taller one if that makes any sence.
Behavior had a headshot mechanic before, however i will be honest thats the feature i just didn't even agree on with myself if its reasonable or not.

@Cheers said:
Hmm, my main problem is like the iridescent head. If you are a good Huntress, you are going to destroy survivors regardless of it's one use.
Even a good Huntress dosn't hit every single hatchet they throw
-
Im a huntress main hitting snipes is my hobby XD
No but for real, you should try to run Perks like BBQ and Discordance and just go for these cross map longrange snipes. Not only are they increadable fun to pull off but also can get some cheaty hits in. On the other hand if a survivor is running in open field try to go backwards away from him. Not only gives that a better aiming angle to you you increase distance for the mission aswell what can lead to 15m being achived. Also general Huntress advice be patienced the more patcient you are for that perfect lined up hit, the more often you will actually hit your target lmao.
-
There is Devour Hope and Racor that allow a Killer to mori a survivor under specific circumstances.
-
you technically can skip it but there is no reason too. The teachable perks always appear in the same order for bill its Level 30 Left Behind, Level 35 Borrowed time and level 40 Unbreakable. While you can in theory not learn the teachable at level 30 there is really no good reason to not too unless you really dislike the perk and would rather never see it ever again in any other bloodweb than bills. It can reappear though as a teachable from what i have heard.
You could also get extreamly Lucky and get the Teachable you want from the Shrine of Secrets but to get the exact perk you want from it is insanly rare.
-
While i do think rank rewards should be a thing in the future there needs to be something else being fixed first.
RANK HAS NO MEANING
Rank in its current for has no meaning. You can suck but get to rank 1 if you just play enough. It never was a true indicator of Skill. I play Red Ranks for almost 2 years conistently now and there is a devide in between great players and players that play like they just installed the game like day and night. For a reward to exists the system needs to have meaning in the firstplace.

If they cancel this new ruin i'll be amazed. Everyone freaking out usually doesn't stop them.
It helped atleast getting the event exclusives out of the Exlusives for Everyone Crisis.

I own the codes for Donkey Jacket and Street Meg + S.F Claudett
Im fine with them making them available, i took the risk when i bought these cosmetics and its nothing wrong with them for wanting to quit shady practices.
What im not ok with is the Event Items
They where Event Items, they have the same status as Legacy to alot of players. I used to own 2 pieces Legacy but lost it because of the Level 0 bug in 2017. Now im just upset that the skins i thought would be a somewhat replacement for that will be available for anyone, wasting my time during the Event, hell i took vacation from my workplace in order to get the Summer BBQ done -.-
They have the same status as Legacy, even though Legacy was harder to obtain i know, and maybe its the part of me that really wants his Legacy cosmetics back but if they make the Event items free for all legacy has to be too. Its the same thing.
Timed exlusives that can't be obtained anymore.
-
if that counts i use to be at rank one
I play/played nurse, or huntress
I think many problems the game has in regards to balance comes from the fact that only a few select things are really strong. For example you are hard to find a killer on highrank that dosn't use Ruin because without ruin a game is over in 5 minutes or less.
-
@KiraElijah He got technically only got banned once, and that was because of the legacy hack, he apologized and he will never do it again, the other ban was one in the bannpocalybs where a ton of people got banned for no explained reason(some got unbanned so there was a mistake on the dev side somewhere).
-
Toxic Nurse:
BBQ, Make your choice, Hunted Grounds or Franklins(if they have flashlights) or Sloppy Butcher for the memes, Ruin. Watch them cryMeme Nurse:
Bamboozle, Brutal Strength, Unnerving Presence, Ruin(just needed so you can atleast play the game a bit) -
there is a locker at the top floor at the middle of the map, however sometimes i just run around trying to find it lol

Way to less Golden Feng is the most expensive with 800$!(geezes christ think about the PC you could build with that money) street meg is on of the normal price codes. I have one myself and brought it for 60$ from a guy names Mikasa he still has one i believe but i don’t know his current price. He already interacted with some community figures like Hybrid Panda or NoOb3 and sold codes to them. He is probably your safest bet.Mister_xD said:@Rothul said:
awww. What's the lowest price? Do you know? Or does someone still have a code? Like street meg is awesome but i'm poor ;/you could get the code from a dev, if you happen to be extremely lucky...
otherwise, these "ultra rare cosmetic items" from DbD are veeeery expensive. i think golden feng is around 200$ or something like that? -
You sure it where not dweights? XD
-
Well its kinda intuitive while playing but i will try to explain the best of my ability.
Start setup we are Running in a straight line and have the W key pressed.
Now circle around with your mouse while simultaneously circling on your Keys the different direction.
for example you look behind over the right side. Move your mouse to the right, press your keys W than WA than A(halfway done), AS and in the end S. Now you are running in a straight line but are looking behind you. You can do that in near seconds, if you practice with no momentum lost -
Take Leader but instead of No Mither + Resilience i would go with Adrenalin and Spine Chill, so if they chase one of you for the entire round you can at least escape, you might sacrifice some seconds but its worth it. Also Spine Chill increases Speed if the killer looks at you as well
-
Selfcare, Sprintburst, Iron Will and Urban. I know im toxic
-
They are all ar least 21 years old, because of some regulations in some countries
-
Is it on PC/Console?
What is the Ruleset?
Can the team consist of 4 players or do it need to be 5?
What date shall it start?
For what Timezones is the tournament planed?
-
If you don't have sc on your survivor its a dencend side option
-

Thats how i feel -
Shouldn't be bannable, survivors that don't want that can go to highrank where its basically no mercy, or if they aren't able to rank up its basically possible to rush the game solo in 9 minutes and they get a lot of bp from it, so i don't know why someone should complain
-
if perks would be little kinks yeah, but right now they are huge game changers, i would like to have a hex ruin, bbq, enduring, spirit fury, make your choice and Enduring killer... But than i imagen a full team off ds, sp, iron will, bt, Urban evation unbreakable. survivors and than no... just no
-
if it comes to a standoff i always give the hatch, the longer i wait the more boring it will get, giving teh hatch is just easier, i find a new game quickly and don't have to waste my time
-
Playing with a dev/mod that had a entity shirt was the best game of my life.
Change my mind
-
I didn’t even wanted to write it down but my first post was ironic
-
I did read your thread but half of the suggested stuff is just strange. I agree to some point Dance with me for example is pretty much useless i agree. But Selfcare is currently the best perk in the game period. I loop rank 1 Killers for more than 40 seconds all day mate. That has nothing to do with how good a killer is it is about what killer he is. If its a nurse yes 40 seconds is long for a nurse, a freddy on the other hand is goodlike if he gets a hit on a rank 1 survivor after 40 secondsSinner said:@Scourge said:
