I think the actual answer is that they can't change the description and name without approval from the license holders.

My only problem is with some of the addons descriptions, the effect of the addon here is just completely unrelated to the description above, ah yes lubricating the parts of a jigsaw box increases ambush power?
Lubricant just makes Amanda work faster.

Doesn't Amanda's Letter reduce her traps to only one? I assume if you pair with Video Tape you'll only have a single survivor with a trap.
Would be better if it worked this way but we don't know how it interacts right now,we're not even sure if it uses the traps from your inventory.

I'm assuming Amanda's Letter was changed,because if you pair it with the new Video Tape,everyone has a trap on their head and there's only 2 boxes.If you just camp one of them you're guarateed head pops unless RNG truly hates you.

He's getting these changes for similar reasons why Pyramidhead got his,but unlike Slinger,Pyramidhead got proper compensation,and it should be the same case here.

The fact that it has a range can also mean that RNG screws you over and all the totems are nowhere where you want them to be.

Hex: Thrill of the Hunt
With Boon perks making their way to the game (more on this soon!), we decided to give Thrill of the Hunt some love by extending the speed penalty from Cleansing to Blessing as well.
This is from the Mid-Chapter dev update part 1.

If the totem is blessed the hex is gone,even if you remove the blessing.Blessing a totem takes around the time to destroy a totem so your hex would've been gone either way.

How ,,fun'' something is to face has nothing to do with the killers viability,same logic with The Twins,people don't like playing against them despite not being amazing.
I do agree that they didn't compensate him enough though.

Survivors can bless a Hex Totem removing the Hex.
It takes the same length of time as cleansing the totem does (or a little bit longer).
What if theres only 1 totem in the trial and it's blessed,and the killer has NOED,will the bless turn into a hex or will NOED not activate at all?

Also, whilst they have a Boon Totem blessed, if they choose to bless another one - then they can, and it will remove from the original blessed totem onto the new one.

A boom totem would pretty much be Blast mine but for boon totems 💀

I think it's because they want the survivors to be relatable to us.You can't really relate with a girl from the 18th century,also cosmetic options would be really limited.

Right now if you hit someone vaulting a pallet or through a pallet with Franklin's the box is gonna fall under it and the survivors can't reach it.

Exactly. I dont really know how people can really think that BHVR makes more money with Sets. I would also probably get the Headpiece and see what I can do with it, but I will not buy the whole Set, so this is money that BHVR will not get.
Sadly quite a few people must be buying sets since they keep releasing them,there's no reason to otherwise.
