True blight, Pyramid blight and felix's blight outfit
True blight make blight look absolutely amazing.
Pyramid blight, its kinda basic but i like that it still looked like pyramid head, rather than some sort of blight blob, but the blade, the ######### blade is my favourite bit.
-
due to the boon totems, if i need to i will attempt to get rid of a survivor quickly rather than attempt to juggle them as, they'd be healed without the need of a medkit or other survivor so, to increase pressure terminating a survivor eases the burden or allows me to get rid of the boons completely
-
cheers for the replies, the game giving feedback that i hit (blood and survivor scream) but in the end i didnt, just confuses me, i wonder if they could fix the false scream and blood so it doesnt feel well clunky

Interesting to note that the ambiguity over Pyramid Head's relationship to the Entity in terms of how powerful he is, and then this blight cosmetic.. I wonder of this was a part of the agreement to have Pyramid Head as part of something that could challenge the Entity.
Personally, my head-cannon is that any blight cosmetic after the 5th anniversary isn't cannon, but if it is it's nice to see Pyramid Head choosing this. Is this Pyramid Head integrating further into the Entity? A way of the Sun Goddess exploring the Entity? Or even the Entity gifting Pyramid Head in some way?
No idea, but my head-cannon says this is just a rather gnarly (in a good way) cosmetic.
Apparently he injected himself.
dont know why, most likely so he can ######### with the entity further.

So, according to the news post on the official website (https://deadbydaylight.com/en/news/james-sunderland-blighted-ph) Pyramid Head "ups the ante as he injects a searing dose of putrid serum into his system." So Pyramid Head injected himself...somehow. How did he even get the putrid serum?
must've somehow found blights drug stash.

Pyramid head - regular.
barbed wire pyramid head - evolved.

As an avid PyramidBoi main, I am so shocked with myself that I haven't thought of the idea of PotD applying Torment. What a good idea. This needs attention.
originally when he came out i thought PotD applied torment on hits, which it didnt which i felt was strange, but it would be lovely to be able to apply torment on PotD hits.

While the game may have a mature rating, the fine folks at BHVR feel that it's mature audiences make immature comments.
Sorry, but someone's feelings got hurt.
arent some of the survivor names tagged aswell?
thus clearly the devs are being offensive when naming these characters based of the filter
-
they should just make the chat filter optional.

Lmao very true, the fact it can't go over holes, up elevation, etc def is a weak part about his M2
i wonder if its just a technical limitation or a design decision.

Honestly not sure, it's just very slow and predicable as long as you are looking behind while running. You can see his arms animation when he's about to use it and there is a delay giving you plenty of time to dodge it. It's only strong when you are force to go to a window and even then you can fake the window forcing out a M2 to slow him down.
I legit don't know how to make his M2 better other than maybe making his range addon base kit.
how about allowing it to go down stairs, because for some reason, stairs can counter it lol.
-
@DorkianBae said:
Balanced if not more on the weak side
His M2 is really really easy to dodge and fake.
He's not bad though, an okay killer and as a survivor fun to play against.
if you dont mind me asking, how would you tweak his m2 to make it abit better?

cheers dude.

which bug
i think its like desync between the animation and sound or just the animation, it results in his m2 feeling weird.

people have mainly stuck with dbd, because its the only game of this genre that has made it, dbd literally has a monopoly thus people stick around due to there not being any better alternatives.
as soon as a better game similar to dbd arrives, I feel quite alot of players may switch over, however that is yet to be the case, as all other potential rivals have perished, currently people are hoping for VHS to provide actual competition for dbd.
We should always hold the devs accountable, excusing them for issues, is why the game is in its current state, they put the bare minimum effort into the game just to keep the revenue coming, the issues are swept under the rug, the devs clearly know they have a monopoly on this genre thus they don't put real effort in anymore, till there is an actual rival or players somehow force the devs into improving, the devs won't put more effort into improving the game.
You can enjoy the game and be critical of the devs.
But the devs have set such a low standard, that if something works as intended without causing major issues, its a victory. Yes other games have issues, and problems , but not typically on dbd level, in which the game may or may not become completely unplayable due to an update or patch.

Killer:
Win: 3 kills or 4 kills
Tie: 2 kills + two escapes
Loss: 1 kill + three escapes or 4 escapes
Survivor:
pretty much escaping is a win and being sacrificed as a loss
-
bait?
-
lets see who takes the bait.
@DbDCasual said:
Doesn't even need to be a hatch. Just have a hole show up at some random place on each map that survivors can jump into at any time.
And why do gens regress if a killer kicks it? Should just be a flat 1% regression and that's it. I'm tired of my hard work being wiped out because bhvr loves to coddle killers.
And humans heal naturally. Survivors should automatically recover from an injured health state 10 seconds after a chase ends.
Can we finally give survivors something?!

@AsherFrost said:
I'm all for it.
Never played a single game in the series, but anything that brings more variety of killers and survivors, and ties into other successful horror IP, I'm all for.
What would the killer be? Is there like a boss baddie, like the Nemesis? I know you said slasher, but what is it?
in the first two games, there is kinda of an enemy like nemesis , in which they hunt you down through chapters towards the later game, and cant be killed by conventional means, this is the ubermorph and the hunter both which could be potential killers, i said slasher more as a baseline.

For me the only clear win condition for killer is a 4k, anything else can be heavily debated.
For survivor there is a VERY clear win condition in surviving.
As a individual i personally feel as long as i escape i win .

Honestly I prefer the new franklins now. I'd rather let 1 person escape through hatch than have 4 people healing constantly with medkits throughout the game.
The nerf wouldn't be as big of a deal with keys weren't a problem.
Plus I found using pyramid head trails over dropped items helped tremendously reduce the chance of them seeking it out because they avoid trails like the plague.
-
######### in hell, you nerfed Franklin's, you've pretty much ruined any reason to use it, it allowed killers to counter keys to an extent and instead of giving us the key nerf, you nerf the current counter the keys which now does....
*Flips through notes*
Now takes away charges....
Wow. Just wow.
Franklin's wasn't even broken, survivors could get their item back by grabbing it before, why bother nerfing it?
What is the actual reason as I don't recall any information being released about keys rework.
-
don't you like it when totem spawn in a empty field with no grass, no cover no slopes just dead visible from all sides?
don't you like totems spawning right next to generators practically asking to be cleansed?
jokes aside , my devour blight feels sadness when it comes to totem spawns
-
Should have left demo rat liver alone and kept bt how it was or changed it so it could detect stealth killers but not trigger if the killer isn't actually near the hook as egc is gonna be problematic.

when i run blight its always hawkins and cornfield maps

Killers camp(proxy) either way even at red ranks. Bbq definitely needs to be like distortion 100% if I have 3 tokens to block bbq, it should only have 3 tokens. Not gonna change my mind. They've need way too many survivor perks for this game to be even. At least on F13 we can defend ourselves and even kill Jason. I'm tired of seeing ppl ######### about swfs u can dodge lobbies as killer not hard to hit the B or O buttons. I also think they need to make it since we see killers perks they shouldn't be able to see what items are being brought in
so you want to nerf the counterable incentive killers get from hooking someone?
if you know they have bbq , go in a locker. No locker near by? hide behind a gen. or you know get in 40 meter radius that makes it so your aura isnt revealed
-
@Hulksmash6565 said:
I think bbq should be like distortion have 3 tokens and then disappears after 3 uses like distortion seems fair to me since y'all said you use it for bps but I call bs on that. I can get to rank 1 as killer with no crutch perks like bbq. I dont camp or tunnel either and still get 3 to 4k every match
So you are gonna attempt to remove the incentive to leave the hook?
-
Lets hope they don't touch blights flick.

This isn't necessarily true and is one of the reasons I have issues with the new DS. A lot of the people are under the assumption that tunneling is only possible when camping. The killer can decide to not camp and still tunnel you out of the game and the DS changes are going to make this very easy to do so.
For example:
Survivor A is a weak looper and goes down and gets hooked. Killer leaves to go down Survivor B. As Survivor B is being hooked Survivor A is unhooked by Survivor C and figures since they can't hear the killer's terror radius they are OK to start working on a generator. Seconds later the killer shows up and sees both Survivors A and C. Knowing that Survivor A has touched a gen and is a weaker looper the killer chases them without fear of DS and places them back on the hook. This can all be done in less than 30 seconds by the way. DS will still counter hard tunneling, but its going to encourage a different type of tunneling even more and I worry for weaker survivors that rely on DS to keep them in the game. And if they want to ensure that they don't get tunneled they have to basically take themselves out of the game for 60 seconds which is not healthy gameplay.
If the killer targets a weak link they are being efficient as they would generate permanent pressure from removing one player, sadly the only real solution is for the weaker player actually get better, if they depip to a rank which they could manage then they might actually generally get better and rank up.
The sad truth is the ranking system is so bad, people get paired with people out their skill league and get stomped or get paired with people below their skill league and stomp them.
Very rarely do people get balanced teams.
Matchmaking screws over newer players most of the time by pairing them with someone out their league which results in them either getting stomped or carried by better players which prevents them from learning and getting better.
-
I hope they don't remove flicking just because I recently started tk get somewhat good at it as blight.

@Nosferatu3145 said:
Well, the entity has a strange moral compass to don't take people under 18, so we can assume that it also has a weakness for old ladies
I will assume old people don't have much hope left in them.
-
They are singling you out due to you being the weak link, they are playing efficiently if they manage to remove a survivor out the trial quickly which provides permanent pressure .
You need to just get better at looping and not being the easiest target. If you appear to be too much hassle to get, a good killer for the most part will ignore you or abandon chase if it drags on for too long to pressure gens or find a weaker survivor.
Think about it, do you attack the strongest point or the crack in the armor you go for the vulnerable area to inflict the most damage.
That's what they're doing as soon as they remove you, all other survivors will most likely have a much harder time and the killer an easier one.
Sad truth is , you have to get better in hopes of avoiding situations like this , as soon as they realise you aren't an easy target the less you will find yourself being targeted..
Chances are you will still encounter tunneling however by being a better player you can make yourself a less appealing target or you can waste alot of killers time whilst being tunneled.
-
Can we also mention most of the time the ######### totem placements, they are either good or litterally in the middle of nowhere with no cover or protection just standing there for all to see.
-
In my opinion we should have gotten James from silent Hill rather than or along with Cheryl.
-
I think either survivors should have less perks than killers or killers have the same amount of perks but killer perks being noticeablely stronger than survivor perk due to what 16 perks vs 4 perks.
If you think about it the whole perk thing will always feel bad. Either the killers perks can't compete with survivor perks due to 4 vs 16 or killer perks being noticablely stronger than survivor perks which would feel unfair from a single survivor's perspective.
-
No since you were gonna bleed out thus the game would have ended.
So it would not count as holding the game hostage
-
His design looks like they attempted to have a rip off joker and they just splashed some blood on them and called it a day
-
Survivors told me to stop playing blight since he was OP and had no counterplay, I wish I got a screenshot of it.
-
I count kills as wins,
0 kills ,but four escapes? Loss
1 kill ,but three escapes? Loss
2 kills ,but two escapes? Tie.
3 kills ,but one escape? Win.
4 kills ,no escapes? Win.
Simple way of determining a win as sometimes you can't get 12 hooks, sometimes survivor die on their first or second hook, or a survivor DCs.

@Mysterynovus said:
Honestly NOED would be a lot more tolerable if the game incentivized totem cleansing. For most new and mid rank players, totems are seen as a "yeah, I guess" side objective. There should be more perks which encourage Survivors to cleanse totems regardless of if a hex is active or not, something akin to Inner Strength. Cleansing totems is a counter to NOED, and even with debuffs it takes about 10 seconds to cleanse. The issue comes down to Survivors prioritizing it.
Agreed, if its incentivised newer players with less experience would also go for totems rather than seeing them as optional.
-
May I suggest bones?
-
As long as its woven into their lore, rather than their entire personality just about them being gay, trans etc ,it should be used to enhance and improve their lore and the character itself.
Basically as long as the devs don't make the character revolve around being gay or trans, and as long as they wove it into the character and the lore whilst making the character interesting I don't think many would mind.
Represention is good, as long as its not forced, make the character whatever as long as they have an actual personality besides being gay or trans, I like interesting lore.
Representation is Good however I worry if there character is a gay or trans character I can almost guarantee morons will single the person using that survivor and its a pity.
-
Body blocking and camping a hook as a killer isn't against the rules as they aren’t technically holding the game hostage as the survivor will be sacrificed.

I think you should just start looking at this logically in that it's basically cheating... it gives the killer way too much info and again, if you had a brain, you'd see how easy it makes it for killers to locate survivors.
No aura = survivors are close
aura = oh look there they are.
Go to aura's location, scratch marks?
If Yes - Follow them
If No - Survivors probably didn't move at all or are in a nearby locker
Too EZ. Remove the aura... it's garbage.
You realise it give the opportunity to go for the hook save whilst he goes after someone.
The perk provides an incentive to leave the hook and hunt down other survivors, it rewards killers for their objective.
If you think its OP ,you are either bias or delusional.
It can be countered in various ways , perk called distortion, can be countered by going in a locker, hiding behind a gen, running one way then the opposite way. It has so many ways of playing around it.

Blight op haha he is strong but not OP
