Edit I mean cash grab this can't be referred to as a event

Let me guess he was able to cover large distances whilst swinging his chain saw downing everyone?

Thats one of his iri add-ons. Literally, last token rush hits are an insta-down.
How often does it actually help him though? As all the blights I face use the one that shows auras

What if the instadown was limited to the Blight's 5th token only? I don't play Blight so I'm basically asking how frequently/consistently do you hit with the 5th rush token? Because it seems like it would give survivors a chance to position themselves in a chase when you MUST use all the rush tokens before going for the hit.
That feels like an addon

Look at the bright side guys, We wouldn't see any Spirits
Ah yes the one singular benefit, but didn't spirit get nerfed ,heard a few people whining that you can hear her breathing when she is phased

He'd be better than Nurse. Without a doubt, the best killer in dbd. In the nicest possible way, this idea is awful. Gamebreakingly awful.
I didn't say I wanted it I was talking about it theoretically ,I'm curious in how it would play out since we have a quite a few insta down killers

@lucid4444 said:
uhh he would be the best killer? Do you know how easy it is to hit a rush attack?
That kinda depends on the map to be honest for it to be easy and the intelligence of the survivors
-
People aren't going to change their PH playstyle ,the devs are trying to get players to use the m2 outside of two scenarios whilst simultaneously ignoring why they only use it in those two scenarios ,its the power itself which needs to be fixed/altered ,the power itself is just punishing and clunky to use, turning is horrible ,easy dodge, heavily telegraphed and slow to use not to mention the punishing nature of using the power. They are attempting to remove his ability to zone with the power which is one of the main uses for his m2 besides animation locked attacks.
When they make his power actually viable people will use it out of the two scenarios.
For WGLF I agree with what you said ,picking a survivor up should give a stack
-
Note this is just my opinion ,I do agree with you for the most part however I do think It is a strategy ,as you are attempting to target most often the weakest link of a team ,taking them out the game permanently increases your pressure whilst increasing the difficulty for the survivors.
Whether people like it or not it is the most effective strategy ,who is going to go for a healthy survivor when there is an injuried one ,a hook away from death?, being injured isnt even thing that stops players from just focusing on objectives it's more of an inconvenience at most .
Killers are playing optimally as possible but I do agree with you if the killer is out matched severely, tunneling is their only option in securing a kill otherwise they lose the game with zero kills.
End game?anything goes, camping in endgame does not exist as the killer have no other objective ,targetting the unhooked is the smart decision unless you have noed as its gonna be almost mpossible to down a healthy survivor ,unless you are a killer with insta down.
I agree with you for the most part, for those that say I'm a tunneler, no I just understand why people tunnel and the benefits of tunneling, yes it's bad for the person getting tunneled but it also gives the others a chance to slam gens and if the person getting tunneled can loop well, they can waste alot of the killers time, if anything I'm turning to survivor as it's much for relaxed .tunneling has is cons and pros.
Sorry for the essay
-
I'm sorry but in what aspect is he OP?
He counters hook perks with cages? Well guess what he cant benefit from his hook perks either, his cage counters ds and bt? Using the cage often makes PH lose pressure as the cage most likely appears next to another survivor across the map ,its often better to slug or just hook.
The cages are situational, its often best just to save for the mini mori or cage if your already in a chase.
Mini mori? Well your on deathhook whilst tormented ,the mini mori just shaves some time off ,your gonna die regardless.
Torment? Does absolutely nothing besides trigger instinct and gives PH the ability to use his already situational cages and mini mori doesnt help PH even down anyone.
His m2 well it's clunky, easy to dodge as survivor unless your in an animation such as vaulting or throwing a pallet and is just punishing to use in general as whether you land or miss a hit your delayed for a few seconds, yes it can hit through walls but it is still telegraphed heavily and travels slowly in a wave ,the only way to land a hit with it through a wall is by trial and error or just pure luck.
His zoning is one of the main uses of his m2 ability which allows him to zone at loops which is the only thing he really excels at as he lacks the ability to pressure gens or transverse the map quickly and they're nerfing that and giving pitiful Compensation whilst ignoring why PH players only use the m2 in two scenarios because the m2 is heavily telegraphed and just clunky overall.
He is far from OP but not bottom tier either.

Doubt. James on SH2 manage to beat two Pyramid Heads and I'm sure Laurie is way stronger than him.
im not 100% certain on the lore of slient hill but he defeated them by over coming his need to be punished, they both killed themselves after that so technically yes he defeated them but also not really as they kinda just killed themselves with their spears. correct me if I'm wrong.
so i believe he would be able to kill laurie
-
They talk about slippery meat hard countering trapper but spine chill does the same to all stealth killers
-
I've been playing survivor recently and all 3 other survivors dced as soon as they got down, I agree DC penalties need to return it hurts survivors and killers
-
Gonna have to say PH would most likely kill her with ease
-
They are trying to prevent using his ability to zone ,which is basically what his ability is only good for besides the ability to hit survivors stun locked.
They want people to use his ability more ,but ignoring the reasons why people use his ability the way they do, they have not bothered to adjust what makes his ability so damn punishing to use and they are nerfing the only main other viable way of using it, they need to fix or alter his ability to make it viable to use out of two scenarios ,but nope they are nerfing one of those scenarios. Yes scoring hits through walls and stuff like that his fun and requires predicting survivors movement but effectiveness is often altered by luck and survivor skill.
They ignore the simple fact his m2 just sucks.
-
I'm kinda blind, is felix there?
-
The reason why people used the power to zone and only in animation locked times is because the power is easy to dodge and is just clunky to use ,they are trying to get people to use his power more ,without actually addressing what's wrong with his power and why people use it the way they do.
-
I feel like he should have been given a larger buff to compensate ,they took away his ability to mind game, which was one of his strongest assets.
I dont mind that they are fixing his perks but the fact they aren't buffing and nerfing perks that are litterally in need of them is annoying.
I feel like the pop nerf is unnecessary
-
PH is okay, one his trails are easy to avoid just crouch over them ,if you get tormented trails are useless as they only active killer instinct and that's it, it's only a real threat is when your on deathhook and you get downed ,Which you are already dead already.
His cages can help him bypass ds and bt however he cannot use hook perks either and the cages often help the survivors more than him as one they teleport if he is too close to them for like 5 seconds and the fact they often spawn near other survivors away from almost guarantee a free save thus losing him pressure.
His m2 has a hefty stun whether he lands or misses his punishment of damned and is telegraphed ,its only useful when people are locked in an animation such as dropping a pallet or vaulting a window and healing.
Other than that m2 isn't that effective, it requires skill to successfully predict movement and land a hit without outside of animation locked survivors.
He lacks mobility which he makes up in chase.his mind game is useful as it allows him to pressure a survivor into moving away from a tile.

They already confirmed they don’t plan to redo/update the Mori animations, only actual gameplay stuff like breaking or hitting animations..
Sad the original/older killers have such lame and basic moris that are pretty much all the same.
-
Make PH break the pallets and doors with his blade
Give trapper a new mori such as slamming their faces into a bear trap
Basically just update the older killers and their moris as they seem very basic
-
If they are nerfing him ,they need to buff him in other areas, his cages are often disadvantageous to him as it will often guarantee a save thus losing him pressure, trails aren't much of a threat since once your tormented all you have to worry about is him using his mini mori when your on death hook, the torment doesn't do anything other than that besides allow you to track players abit easier with the barbed wire trail off them.
If they weaken his looping ability they need to buff his mobility to help compensate
-
Welp here comes the nerf to PH that basically turns him to dust.
Why don't they actually focus on the killers like spirit which are basically broken, instead of decent and bad killers.
PH seems fine ,however if they plan to nerf him ,they most likely send him to bottom.

punishment of the damned will have 1 meter range, takes 10 seconds to cast, 20 seconds stun after using, overheat when using 2 punishments, cages will make perks 2000% stronger (ds = 100 second stun)
just the same stuff like they did to any other killer they "changed"
Ngl I can somehow see them doing this.
-
If they nerf him ,they are going to try and make him as weak as possible knowing their track record they aren't good at balancing he seems fine as he is right now but knowing them they're gonna send him to below legion in terms of stength
-
So these parts would they be able to drop them or will it be tied to that player
-
He seems fine, he lacks map pressure and makes up for it in Looping.
-
bbq is now only useful for bloodpoints, R.I.P
-
I can't see any auras from bbq and chilli ,they may be so faint i cant see them though
-
what if the killer is only there because someone is trying to get an unhook, or because they know someone is right next to the hook?
-
wait, wait wait, you are complaining about unrelenting?
-
if they did that swf would never get any killers due to the killers absolutely despising them and would pretty much only play against solos. as a result the game would suffer greatly due to how many swf there are.

I get that! Maybe Talkies could have range limits that you could increase with addons, though if the range is too low by default, it'd defeat the entire purpose of them imo.
however if talkies were added would the survivor have it as a passive item meaning they can use whilst they use something else such as a medkit and it would drain its usage as they send messages or would it be a standard item, meaning they can only have it as their actual item
-
i would like this idea, however it should only allow survivors to give vague information to one another ,maybe if they are in a certain proximity.
-
it's most likely because killer is more stressful and harder overall because they are going against 4 other players on their own as a result tend to have to put more work in, whereas survivors have each other and split the workload 4 ways thus its easier for a survivor overall then it is for a killer. so i basically think the harder role gets more bp however i do think survivors do need a tiny buff to blood points.
-
They are trying to make excuses for their stupidity, ofc a huntress will go to a locker ,you got to restock your hatchets, they got unlucky and you chose their locker, they will try accuse you of whatever to redirect the blame for their stupidity onto you.

called a wall hacker because i looked in the basement because i couldn't find anyone near the gen next to it.
called a speed hacker because i landed on someone and managed to hit them whilst they had balanced landing

fairly certain pyramid head would just be wacking through walls, huntress sniping with hatchets, nurse blinking everywhere none stop, billy chainsawing around the map and deahslinger just fishing etc
-
done this a few times on accident, it appears i get the bp for the execution ,yet they seem to escape aswell.
