They broke the entire game, I didn't think they could out do the horrible binding of kin chapter
-
Its fun to watch this thread.
-
I'm a devour blight.
-
Anyway its the reason why the rank system is #########, if the killer plays to well they might depip along with the others , if the killer plays bad along with the others they might depip.
I think they just need to overall their rank system let alone how worthless ranks are anyway.

I've mentioned ds and borrowed. In reality, these do absolutely nothing.
Again, survivors are being blamed for hook bombing against a camping killer.
So if first survivor downed is getting camped, should a team that relies on performing saves and general altruism to progress or earn points just leave said survivor to die on first hook and lose progress with minimal bloodpoints?
If a killer is camping, it HAS to be a hook bomb. That's because the killer is choosing to stand in front of the hook, the survivor hasn't chosen to be camped and tunnelled.
As I said, I understand endgame camping/tunnelling. There is absolutely no need for it when there are 4-5 gens to be done.
If you hook bomb a camping killer YOU are rewarding them , why would they do another strategy if you just reward them by feeding them kills, hooks and hits?.
if you leave them they lose points ,yes the survivor might not escape and get many points but rewarding a playstyle because of altruism makes them more likely to Continue.

Definitely blight

It does offer extra rewards, better add ons, rarer items in bloodweb. But it would be nice to get a certain amount of auric cells for each character in p3
Ngl the benefits prestiging offers are barely noticeable and it would be nice to have a way of obtaining auric cells rather than buying them
-
There are perks for that , such as ds and borrowed time, and they are playing the game properly and since when does the killer need to be fair they are attempting to kill you. Tunneling and camping in endgame is okay by my standards and even if they aren't in endgame camping only really works if one people hook bomb and thats them rewarding the killer second Tunneling might to unfun to those its happening to its optimal to get a single person out the game as it permanently creates pressure for the killer.
They are playing the properly even if its not a way you would play or want to play.
For ruin and undying it was okay for less mobile killers and excelled with high mobility and even then you had to pressure gens for it to take affect. So it wasn't them just passively getting gen pressure ,they still had to pressure the gens.
Note I play survivor and killer now mainly survivor and even then I use devour rather than ruin.

I think it only gets deactivated if you heal yourself, not if someone else heals you.

Wait till you encounter the reworked maps!
No more being Sanic instead you just slide of most things you want to collide with..
Slide to the left!
Slide to the right!
CRISS-CROSS !

Is this satire?

@Mandy said:
It would still be a one off use, if you attempt to hit the skill check (either successfully or miss it), the perk will deactivate.
Thanks for clarifying

I would argue nurse is fine just because the only real threats are the ones that have mastered her , the others they aren't so much of a threat.
-
They haven't even fixed his POV i doubt they will fix his collision any time soon.

Hope not I want to avoid that New HUD

They will ask for Devour nerf when they realize it's slightly viable with the nerfed undying.
No pls , my devour blight show him some mercy.

the reworked maps surely did nerf blight a ton, struggles to collide with ######### whilst rushing on those.
-
Chair.
Toss a chair at a survivor, getting a direct hit puts them in the downed state , the chair explodes upon impact any survivor near by the impact get injured.
Or
Chair .
Ability to transform into a chair moving at extreme speeds and crashing into any survivor puts them in the injured state.
-
A player satisfaction survey is bhvr's word for market research, litterally no questions involved gameplay at all.
-
Well if the newer maps allowed vlught to bounce off them then I kinda like the new appearance however it feels like they are trying to fill every empty space with something making them feel cluttered.
-
I think if the colour of the traps changed Depending on the map they are sent to would be a helpful buff.

They’re not gonna change it. Even though many people had agreed this would be a much better change
This would probably require them put in some effort rather than changing a single value from a 1 to a 2

Can someone tell me what this riddle meant, I couldn't really understand what they were trying to get across.

They are not actually banning people for this are they? That is like... one of the most petty reasons to ban I've heard of in a while.
If I had to guess they are going to throw some BS about how it's exploiting and intentionally disrupting the game or something.
The glitch allows the player to make the game Psychological horror.
-
I fear nothing...
But that thing...
..it scares me.
I would understand if it litterally broke the game but the glitch does nothing but allows the player to look amazing.
Anyway its their fault for you know.. not having an functional bug detection on their game.
Its almost like they don't have testers.
-
Nice bait, next you'll be complaining about fire up.

Then killers would just throw Franklin's on ,to counter the counter

Just to give you a heads up, this issue will be fixed in the upcoming hotfix.
its impressive that the devs broke so much so fast ,like the chapter was coming incomplete ,however the stuff that we did expect are literally broken to the point they dont work, amazing devs.
i assume the hotfix will also give us the rest of the chapter or is that getting pushed back because of how broken the game just became?
-
Gotta admit its impressive that they broke so much so fast.

Not sure why you think it's a joke? I think it fits the game well.
Well I the definition of the labour of love award :
"This game has been out for a while. The team is well past the debut of their creative baby, but being the good parents they are, these devs continue to nurture and support their creation. This game,to this day , is still getting new content after all these years."
Yea the game gets new content but the quality of the content is rather low, when they attempt to fix one bug 10 more appear, even the most gamebreaking bugs gets through their testing, they don't seem to actually listen to the community and generally just seem to want to milk the game for all it's worth rather than actually improving the game they push out content that is low effort and uncreative and just makes the overall game worse with the sheer amount of bugs.
I will admit they're has been some improvements and some interesting killers but overall the game is in poor health , and the Halloween "event". They just seem to push out content just for the sake of getting cash nothing wrong with that but they don't seem to bother improving the base game which is buggy as hell, they dont bother to even look at the reasons behind why certain people dislike certain aspects and only focus on statistics rather than the community itself.

You make good points.
-
Ngl if someone has victor on them for too long they should either get injuried or just downed, that way it could deter people from stealing the power.
-
Good in idea however the voice chat would lead to all sorts of comments and toxicity such as verbal abuse amongst players.
We do need to bring up solo to swf level so we can adjust killer to meet the level which they aren't OP to solo players but capable enough to deal with swf

I just explained what you are asking here. And testing does not always work, you cannot recreate every issue that can happen on your own. The game can run perfectly on one PC and then run like garbage on another PC, even if it should run fine as well.
Like, every Bug that happens does not happen because the game did has not been tested before, but because the testers were not able to recreate the Bug on their equipment.
Yes I understand bugs are bound to appear but if they are gamebreaking then they should be identified easily ,if the bug barely affects gameplay then I can understand it going unnoticed however if a bug just blatantly breaks the game ,they should focus on fixing that rather than releasing it and planning on fixing it later ,they also have ptb ,players are able to help Identify bugs and give feedback which they tend to overlook.
They generally just need to stop releasing chapters and just fix as many bugs as possible since the game is rather full of them.
I'm fairly certain people would want them to fix their game rather than push out new content. And I think people will be fine to wait longer if it lead to the game being better overall.
-
@Aven_Fallen said:
Well, you can always buy it later. You dont need to buy it on Release Day, if you are not satisfied with the content you will get.
Also, I guess those are more company reasons than anything. And one fact could be that holidays are close when the Chapter releases (probably start of December), so if they release it later and the Patch breaks something in the game, they might not be able to patch that before they are on vacation.
So if they release it at the start of December and there are some major bugs, those can be fixed. If they release it mid-December and there are major bugs, it might be possible that they are already on vacation and cannot fix those until next year (this was the reason why we did not get a Christmas Event last year).
Then why not you know delay when the chapter comes out so we actually get a complete product ,instead of a incomplete product, and if the chapter breaks something shouldn't that have shown up in testing especially if its gamebreaking , how about create the chapter Make sure everything works as intended then sell it?
Let's be honest most of their patches adds more bugs than they fix.

I really liked Until Dawn. It was an easy platinum trophy and fun to play. The Wendigo as a killer would feel a lot like the Demogorgon though imo (if they base the Chapter on Until Dawn). I do hope Chris is the survivor if it does happen.
Chris and Mike.

Give us artorias, imagine just yeeting yourself the air bypassing all obstacles and just front flip spamming on survivors

no if you would add 10 gens don't you think? it would be more difficult
Would the killers be able to pressure all gens effectively? since they aren't in the same area some survivors may all rush into one segment do all of the gens there and rush to the other ,therefore they only have one killer to deal with

it's not an event thing, really. It's constant since the last reset. And sure, these things are tactics, but when you have about every match go like that, regardless of rank, then something's gone wrong
Issue is that they are the most effective tactics ,thus that's all what people use.
-
Gens wouldn't last a minute , all get rushed and run away.
-
Whether people like it or not, camping and tunneling are valid tactics and noed is a hex perk which can be countered.
Yea people are playing to win which means using any tactics available ,as a result people will not be forgiving and just kill people as fast as possible.
But I do agree people do tend to do this around events

i hate to agree with you ,ive been a killer main however am becoming a survivor main just because its more relaxing overall as when playing killer its frustrating as your are meant to be the power role ,yet for the most part you aren't unless against low level players, as you climb higher in the ranks you seem to become a toy to the survivors that know how to loop and make zero mistakes.
survivor is just fun and satisfying to play in comparison
-
It's nice that it isn't a set like ghost face's blight skin

One can dream they wake up and get better.

They'll do what every dev this position does.
Wait 2 weeks, offer a half-hearted apology and promises to do better, and then double down on the microtransactions for the Christmas Event.
They won't change the event. They won't compensate us, the most we can expect is maybe a code for some bloodpoints. Maybe.
They'll learn nothing, except that some whales will pay for anything, and that's a green light for them to keep treating us like #########.
Some competition would surely help.
If they actually had a proper rival, that posed a threat to them they might actually start creating quality content in Hope's to steal or retain some or the playerbase or die out due to their inability to change in the end consumers win ,dead by daylight gets better content and continues or it dies and a new game takes its place but with actual quality content.
