The problem is that even if you as that single Survivor in the game do everything correct, this does not mean that your teammates (which you have 0 control over in SoloQ) will do the same. And it really doesnt matter if you die or anyone else, an early 3v1 due to a condemned Kill means that the game is basically over.
Let alone that this playstyle of her ignores one of the core mechanics of the game - Hooks. Her Condemned-playstyle really needs to be looked at. I did only die once to Condemned since the Rework (and this was also really unlucky because I went to one TV to get rid of a tape which got snatched by a less condemned Survivor before and the next TV had Sadako appearing right in front of me..), but I have seen others die. And while doing everything correctly on my Part, I still get punished because of her unhealthy playstyle.
The thing is the so called "condemn playstyle" is her whole point, she sucks at chase but compensates by having the condemned mechanic and it's the reason why most of us Sadako mains have enjoyed her from the beginning despite the obvious lack of any meaningful chase potential.
Imo the solution is making her counters more intuitive and not gutting her current playstyle. I wouldn't even mind if the auras of TVs were visible from 32 meters or something, just let survivors know they have options.

Skull Merchant. Nobody cares about her anyway, including her teachables.
I really like game afoot, it pairs really well with STBFL and PWYF. Thwack is also really fun on killers who can break pallets quickly
-
Never played Danganronpa but I have been told it is somewhat similar to Ace Attorney, wouldn't something along those lines be too light hearted for this game?

3 percent permanent speed boost while injured with the only counter being to run exhaustion perks/add-ons is insane. Boon: Dark Theory only gives 2% and it's a boon which means the killer always has a chance to counter it no matter their build. I shouldn't have to run an exhaustion perk/add-on every single game just because someone may be running Made for This. The killer should always have some counter play against survivors just like survivors should have counter play for every killer. Please devs, PLEASE nerf this perk. Make it only activate after first hook and give it a time limit or something, anything to make it more fair.
It really screws over M1 killers a lot. It's the new dead hard, bad to decent against high tier killers but absolutely busted against low tiers. I had to start running blood echo on legion and sadako again because otherwise it's just a loopfest

@CoolerBleend said:
That would be cool if it wasn't for the fact that majority of Sadako players right now are slugging constantly until you just get condemned and die.
I agree they should do more to combat the no hooks strategy because it is pretty boring, I remember trying it before well drawing's nerf and it just feels cheap, and it seems it is stronger now. But I am not sure what they could do to discourage slugging. Perhaps make it so that the more survivors have been hooked the more stacks they gain? Like, at the beginning of the match survivors only gain 1/2 stack per teleport and then for every hook state they gain 1/4 more.

But on the other hand, she'd also have Haste forever.
Im not sure if trading gen control for haste is that great... That should be left at the killer's decision, which I am glad BHVR is putting emphasis on.
-
I mean, I was enjoying her regardless, but I agree that playing against her is a nightmare. I really like this change because it suits my current build perfectly; PWYF + Brutal Strenght + Game afoot + Call of brine. The problem is that her gen defense is not as effective now, but that adds to her skill ceiling; You will actually have to chase down tracked survivors if you want to keep an effective gen defense.
This makes her the official tracking queen + she has some chase power now. I think she is main material now.

Out of 50 games I have only escaped a handful of times. A freaking handful. Every game it seems that killers just tunnel people out from the beginning. They need to buff survivor because it has just become unplayable.

Sounds like a you problem.
-
She had a ######### gameplay style before, she has a shittier gameplay style now.
I for once am glad I don't have to face her, I hate her so ######### much but I do feel bad for hag mains that have to endure CoH + Endurance + all the new unhooking perks that invalidate 60% of her power.

I mean I feel like Trickster was received almost as poorly with a ton if "this doesn't belong in DBD" threads. But the game survived and we got Resident Evil right after so you know this one may not have been for you but anniversary is usually more universally well received last few have been Dredge, Nemesis, Executioner and Ghost Face so usually doesn't disappoint.
The next updates better be really ######### good or this will get bad.
-
That would make her more bearable to go against.
-
No it seems she is her own thing. Though I would not discard a crossover.
-
I like her because she has 101% girlboss energy.

If they feel like people rely to much on Gen Regression peeks why don’t they give us new chase perks or buff some of the older ones? The only one I run at all is STBFL because it helps my Huntress and Deathslinger.
If we had a few more then it would be an actual meta shake up.
I hope they make more chase related hex perks like crowd control and blood favour.
-
At this point they should make 3 or 4 of the oldest non-licensed killers free and make more universal perks. Perhaps reduce the cost of purchasing non-licensed characters too.
-
Oh it's that time of the year where people cry endlessly because they nerfed their favorite toy. Boo hoo.
-
I hope they also revise other killer perks with ridiculous cooldowns. Opression and Dragon's grip wouldn't be so bad if they didn't have 90 secon cooldowns.

Eruption rewarded unhealthy and boring playstyle and had to be changed asap, that's why they pushed the change in the upcoming patch now instead of the next midchapter with other perk changes.
Dead hard on the other hand, has already gone through a major nerf, only works in a 0.5s frame rewarding skill play
So what exactly are you complaining and crying about? You shouldn't rely on it, you got ur 4ss carried by it since the beginning and now u're pooping ur pants cuz hard times awaits your games?
Asking for another dh nerf only makes u all look pathetic and the fun thing is that it won't happen
Bruh how is w perk rewarding skillful play? It doesn't reward any of the basic survivor skills of the game (looping, gen dispersion), it's literally just a parry that would be better of in a fighting game of some RPG. Gee, you guessed a killer was going to swing at a pallet? You must be some sort of genius at this game!

- His base kit recharge of tokens is bit slower.
- Reworked colision (no more techs, etc.)
Note: I am NOT asking for such changes, I am just saying would YOU play him if he got "Billy 2.0" pass.
I mean, 99% of the things that make blight fun and challenging are his techs. If they just outright removed them it would be flickbilly levels of rage on the blight main community.

Coup de Grace is easily top 15 in the game. Unless you are an m2 only killer like nurse it can be a life saver on a crapton of loops. There has been so many situations where I have completely turned the game around because coup allowed me to end a chase that otherwise would have gone for ages.
-
lmao they managed to break legion and mending again.

@Edilibs said:
They made it so that solo survivors can be just as coordinated as swf? Why would they do this?
There's no surprise or real life element now because survivor can "always" know what another survivor is doing because of the icons.
Why does the survivor experience need it's hand to be held I don't understand! That's the problem with these new games today they're dumbed down!
Geeze DBD was fine until this happened? It's really too bad the game has gotten like this..
Guess you want even more people to play SWF.

Or cause y’know. The obvious answer: Nurse is balanced.
No she isn't. She is basically the reason why having small maps can be extremely problematic despite being a necessity for most killers, it nullifies her only weakness which is poor mobility. If a nurse has good info on a map like RPD or Midwich you are utterly lost.

@Aven_Fallen said:
The actual problem is that Nurse is still too strong and a relic of the past which really should not exist like that. You always have to ask - would DBD release a Killer like her nowadays? And the answer is a clear "No".
And well, naturally Killers switch to as much Slowdown as possible, because it is the easiest way to play Killer. You drag out the game, which means less ressources, which means easier chases, which results in more Downs, followed by more Slowdown and so on. And honestly, if you need 20 minutes to kill 4 Survivors, who are most likely better than you, you should not win.
Last but not least - for me, nothing will change. I play Nurse with my Build, which is full Aura Read (except for Shadowborn). And I mostly go against Nurses who already stack Slowdown a lot and a Starstruck-Nurse is quite a rarity. (Because, again - stacking Slowdown is easier, so more players go for that... Even on Nurse)
I think that the real reason BHVR hasn't touched nurse substantially is because they don't want to get accused of being PTW... Which could easily be fixed by just, you know, maybe buffing the other used-to-be top tier killer that got gutted for no reason at all?

Garden of soy is still awful. It should get Eyrie's treatment.

Pretty much the only way to save is hook trading. Or bring Reassurance and make sure the killer is wasting time at the hook.
The level of interactivity with this killer is pretty sad and does attract some of the worst type of players to “main” him.
It's twins all over again. The only way to play him is to be boring.

These look too over the top for my liking.

Bubba's camping potential needs to be addressed but the locker saves absolutely needed to go.
By locker saves you mean the squads that would go hide on a locker to get infinite flash saves? Thank god they changed that, I got 2 teams that used that tactic and it was a nightmare.
-
Is it liscenced? Given how last year they had a crossover with For Honor we could get a medieval chapter with a For Honor thematic, or For Honor cosmetics at the very least. Not sure how that would work though.

brother if you are playing at the same time people usually go to work you are pretty much way likelier to find these kind of players.

That's a symptom, not the problem. I don't understand how people can't comprehend this.
I would agree but most of the time people DC or suicide on hook it's for pretty petty reasons. If you dislike the game vote with your playtime and stop playing it, simple as.

To be fair, it didn't have any implication it was eugenic kind of purification.
If anything, everything implied Nurse was inspired by real nurses who killed their patients to put them out of their misery. Pulling off backwards retcon and making her into eugenics insane fanatic is one of the worst possible decisions made.
Jeez, chill. I agree, I was just saying that the retcon was not born out of thin air.

Yeah I remember not liking Nurse's archive lore for this reason. In her original story, she's a very tragic character who is just a victim of her circumstances but in her Tome lore they give her a weird eugenics backstory and it just didn't fit her at all IMO.
To be fair, her original backstory did mention thoughts of purification crossing her mind.
-
I was thinking something along the lines of making it a passive heal, you slowly gain healing progress passively at half or a quarter of the normal rate. It would allow you to do gens without having to waste time healing and would punish killers that stay too long at a single loop, but I can see it being quite overbearing on indoor maps.

Scummy play? If everyone got downed within 45 seconds it is ENTIRELY on you.

Persona. I will never get tired of saying it, the killer of persona 4 and thematic of Persona 3 are a perfect fit for DBD. Plus it would nice to have an RPG like killer with a power gauge that resembles a mana system, like hero from SMBU without all the RNG elements.
The jester's main ability is to summon his persona. While summoning it he is significantly slowed down and has to pick between 4 different abilities. All of his abilities are powerful, but require mana to be used. Mana will function the same as charges in game, the jester begins with 100 mana points. Mana is regenerated at a rate of 1 points per second.
- Vorpal Blade: The jester's persona uses it's blade to cause devastating damage in a vertical direction. Has a range of 10 meters, instantly destroys pallets and damages survivors at the same time. Costs 15 mana points.
- Megidola: You aim a powerful blast that will explode after 10 seconds, anyone within a 6 meter radius of the blast location will be instantly put in the dying state. It costs 30 mana points
- Power charge: Your next basic attack will instantly put the hit survivor in the dying state. This ability deactivates whether you hit a survivor or miss an attack. It costs 20 mana points
- Heat riser: The jester temporarily boosts his base stats. He moves, breaks pallets and vaults windows way faster. This ability lasts indefinetely but costs 3 mana per second, so it drains his power really fast.
Abilities can be used in conjunction to be made deadlier.
As a passive ability, "the jester" has a countdown mechanic. The match will start with a heavy fog that will slowly begin to dissipate with time.
After 10 minutes have passed, the fog will completely disipate, every single generator will be permanently blocked and a mass of shadows will begin to consume the map from the very center. If survivors come into contact with the mass, they will be instantly killed. "The jester" will have the location of every survivor in the match revealed for 10 seconds with killer instinct.
As to not make this mechanic absolutely busted, survivors will be able to add seconds to the timer by performing altruistic actions. Healing survivors grants 15 extra seconds, unhooking 30 extra seconds and taking protection hits an extra 20 seconds. So nothing out of the ordinary, survivors should be able to completely avoid the countdown most of the time if they play at a moderate pace and don't just slam gens.
Mori (spoilers if you haven't played p4)

This can't go live
It literally won't
I am pretty sure the reason the devs are delaying the change for another update is because they have other changes in mind. Remember that the hatch closing mechanic was originally a delayed PTB change and it took them about a year to find a proper solution to the issue.
