Ive wanted 2v8 ever since my best mate started dbd
But this isnt fun
The que times being 20minutes i could look past
However games lasting 5 minutes cause gens are just popping constantly is not worth the que wait
Instead of running around with my killer friend doing fun things i feel like we have to rush everything otherwise the games over right as it started, right after waiting 20 minutes
Maybe lower gen speeds or add more? Surely people arnt enjoying quick games after a 20 to 30 minute wait time
I really don't get people saying killer is hard in this mode. From my experience most of my matches, especially the ones I have played with my buddy, are complete curbstomps. Survivors don't do gens and go down extremely fast for the most part.

2 killers vs 8 survivers you can have 6 people rushing gens and 2 people taunting the killer and the game is over in mins... no way to stop it, because you can only go after one person at a time. Like, if you could pick any killer and your own perks it might be possible but right now its garbage.
skill issue
-
Honestly yeah. You fix the issue of having useless teammates and qeue times. I wouldn't mind having 2 bots as teammates.
-
Yup, probably because the game went free and there are way too many people playing killer. So far I have seen few games where survivors don't fall like flies.
-
No.
It was a dumb perk.
-
Postal, never happening for obvious reasons but I would love going in a rampage Postal style on the survivors.
-
Good
-
I kind of get the 115% change since he has esencially no way of getting long range shots unlike Huntress and Deathslinger, but WHY on earth would they buff just about anything else? He literally has a close range machine gun that will barely slows him down. Who thought this was a good idea?
-
Well at least they didn't take like 4 years to nerf it this time... Still, really annoying how perks like that get past design.
Inb4 the next chapter released has an unbearably strong perk released on it to make up for MfT... sigh
-
Not bad, just too hard for how little he offers. His chains don't feel nearly punishing enough, especially long range ones for how hard they are to land.
-
Oh my god just nerf MFT already.
-
Hag forever. Huntress because I get matched with her way too often.
-
MFT too... I am going to cry.
-
New DBD killer just dropped.
-
I forget this perk exists 99% of the time until a Bubba fatally reminds me of it. I mean, it's good for memes, but it's just that, a meme. It should get another effect like getting x seconds of undetectable after hooking someone or something.

I was watching a well known dbd streamer and they just posted a video tutorial on how to install reshaders into the game. Now I personally find this cheating same with nVidia shaders as it adds an unfair advantage. Being able to see people hiding in shadows and having scratchmarks glow more leads to them having better tracking. I'm on ps5 I can't have my system any brighter, I'm down for bhvr adding it but for everyone not just people on pc.
With how badly BHVR optimizes this game you are asking for your PS5 to explode.
-
No place for cowards
- Survivors who crouch become exposed, this effect lingers for 6/8/10 seconds after the survivor uncrouches.

I think I'm either misremembering these, or did Freddy get new Flavor texts??
Remember Me: "You don't remember? You must. You're my number one, and you'll never wake up again"
Fire Up: "Now why don't you just fu**ing die?"
Blood Warden: "This is my world. And you can't ever leave."
They have always been there.

Hello fog dwellers.
I am an old player, 3.700k hours from more or less launch. (Myers up till Dredge)
Returning to the game, and finding myself once again pumping hours into the only asymmetrical game that can sustain a player base. I do love this game, its unique gameplay is something you can't replicate.
I hate the tome and archives.
I hate battlepasses, I hate that it becomes a job, I hate having to play in non optimized and non fun ways just to complete challenges. It only furthers the most negative social aspects of this game.
I hate playing solo q survivor pretty much throwing games because challenges matter more than wins.
I hate that with the pace I play, i have time to pretty much just do the killer challenges, because it's so time consuming. My brain won let me play 50/50 with the way the content is laid out.
And the worst part is I hate how this is a business choice that is designed to increase player retention and hours, and by engaging with it, I am just validating this greedy, manipulative, and industry wide ubiquitous practise.
I don't hold it against BHVR necessarily, its just the nature of the industry and if they want to make line go up, they need to maximize profits. I still hate it though.
Anyway Im off to go grind challenges again. See you in the fog. <3
On the contrary, I think it forces people into different playstyles which is great. I play Sadako most of the time but when there is a challenge about breaking pallets and gens I usually switch to nemesis. The problem comes when the challenges force players into bad playstyles that will most likely get them killed.
I don't play religiously so I don't really care about the battlepass, but I get why some people find it frustrating.

2m/s is literally half the survivor's movement and was already the highest penalty compared to other killer cooldowns. It was the bug causing the cooldown speed to not apply that was making xenomorph seem like a bigger problem than it was. There wasn't a need to nerf the cooldown speed at the same time of fixing the bug.
Are you sure? It currently feels about the same as Nemesis' and Pyramid Heads' cooldown. Not saying it should be that way but it's not that bad if you are not missing over and over again.
-
To be fair, 2 m/s was pretty strong and not nearly punishing enough on misses. You could just spam it with little consequences. I do agree 1.2 m/s may be a bit too punishing, perhaps something like 1.6 or 1.4 should have been considered.
-
It's in the name. Ringu is one of my all-time favorites, I have always found the movie extremely elegant in it's approach to horror. I think BHVR did a pretty good job at adapting her power with the tools they had, I just wish they did more with the way the condemnation spreads.
-
I come across them every day, it's not rare at all.

Unfortunately devs confirmed recently RARE rarity skins will NOT be coming to the shop only Very Rare skins from rifts :( so Nexus Ranger Feng will not be purchasable
What even is the point of this? They are just missing easy cash.
-
I am going to be completely honest, a 7, MFT + Hope being a constant has been miserable since most of my favorite killers are either M1s or have a 110% speed, I despise having to play extremely specific builds to combat broken perks. I miss not having to run blood echo on legion every game. Survivor isn't much better, but I think that is mostly on me since I am a terrible looper and like to focus more on gens than anything. But besides those issues this game is pretty much the same as always, I personally think it peaked right around the time they nerfed CoH and the gen kicking meta.

Excluding archives why do you feel the need to sweat. I'm not throwing shade or trying to start an argument but I had this convo recently with a killer and it got me curious.
For context: The killer was (clearly) new to playing Nemesis, didn't really have a grasp of the tentacle yet and spent most of the game missing every single one and couldn't really keep up with us survivors. We weren't running meta builds either and were all solo everyone was kinda just doing dumb stuff and the killer still struggled. After awhile he got 1 person and tried to camp them (we still had 2 gens left to do) and this was his first hook. Game went on for awhile due to us trying to prevent that person from being tunneled. Lot of slugging and trying to get 1 person out and eventually they got them and nearly had all 4 of us for trying to protect (but I ran all 4 boons so we just picked ourselves up and reset) end game chat was me wondering why they cared so much about the kill when their reward would be better players and they clearly can't handle casual ones.
So I got curious and came here to pick peoples brain on why exactly they sweat. I don't mean "Oh I wanted to secure the kill because I needed someone out" or "running meta perks to get help vs nurse/blight"
I'm talking about people whose intention is to use every single advantage (no matter how tiny) to win the game. Nurse/Blights with the best addons and a map offering who play like their life is on the line or SWFs who bring map offerings and the best items and meta perks while they have comms to completely dominate the killer without them getting so much as 1 hook.
Vs a casual opponent typically nobody has fun because you dominate so hard they don't get to do anything and nobody really gets to play and vs someone who is also sweating nobody has fun because of just how evil you have to play to win.
I only sweat if the survivors are sweating, if I see 3 gens getting done in 3 minutes you bet I am going to respond appropriately.
-
The way I see it all they need to do is remove the exposed status effect and boost the haste buffs.
-
@Nikolaifly said:
I cant even believe this. Nobody disliked fast vaults? Are they trying to slowly remove vaults altogether? The old update was great, but reverting it wasnt even that big of a deal but to REMOVE FAST VAULTS!? This is wild!
Nobody? Brother that crap was unfathomably broken, it made killer miserable.
-
Yeah I tried running it on Sadako as a meme and found it to be extremely oppresive, like the amount of times it seemingly interrupted survivors about to put a tape was insane.
-
They waste a perk slot that could be used for a way more useful perk and they also bring one of the most situational items in the game (save maybe the add-on that let's you see the killer). It's fine.
-
- Trickster
I kind of like him but MFT really makes him feel terrible.
- SM
Already play with her somewhat regularly, just not in the lame 3 gen way. I like the fact that she can stack haste a lot, it really makes going against MFT more bearable.
- Nightmare
Just bring old freddy back PLEASE, current freddy sucks so much ass.
- Hag
Nothing can make me play hag. I really don't despise any other thing in the game as much as her. She has the most unbelivably boring gameplay in existance, and I say that knowing full well Skull Merchant exists.
- Twins
I play them seldomly, they just aren't good for anything else that isn't camping and Victor is just too clunky. I hope the rework adresses those issues.
-
So screw M1 killers then? This combo is only good on killers who really need it anyways.
-
Finally! Jesus, if only you knew how unplayable Sadako feels at times because of this perk. I literally have to run PWYF + Nemesis or Game Afoot to get things done.
-
Well, nurse is by definition OP, but so are a ######### ton of other things that are also OP when used by comp SWF teams.
-
Lol. Lmao. Freddy mains taking another fat L, enjoy getting buffed in 2 times googolplex years!
-
They really need to add another status effect different from endurance that can be "pierced"
Let's say hard endurance and soft endurance.
Hard endurance only works for things like getting unhooked and can't be surpassed.
Soft endurance can be pierced by using your killer's power or using certain perks/add-ons.
-
Bad luck? I mean, they play at random.
-
He is REALLY good, I would say low to mid A. Probably not as good as wesker since he is very limited and does not have any room for techs. Great mobility that also comes with great tracking potential, good antiloop with a considerable skill ceiling, annoying but reasonable counterplay.
-
Because... I like the game? What more reason do I need? Do you guys really play the game out of obligation or something?
-
Oh god please shut up, we have this same thread every single time and nothing happens. We don't need more us vs them garbage.

As the title says Xeno’s power is pretty cool and powerfull in theory but man I think we have another singularity situation here.
The turrets are very oppressive and any competent team or even random soloQ survivors can use them very effectively. Unlike some people believe they do not consume a lot of time to activate by the survivors, they cover an absurd area, they can be spammed even if you destroy them, they act as an early warning system…
This wouldn’t be a issue if runner mode was itself very oppressive but it isn’t. Runner mode has a decent reach sure but its not that big, the hit box is very small, its quite easy to dodge and in general is (compared to other killer “range attacks”) pretty overwhelming especially considering the massive counter play it has.
And this is seen in public matches easily. Every time I play against the Xenomorph and the survivors have more than 10 hours in the game the killer is always getting burned out of his power and has very few kills if any. And when I play as the Xeno against good survivors its more of the same. The only reason I have gotten some wins as Xeno against good survivors is because of perk shenanigans like NOED.
In my opinion or they nerf heavily turrets or they buff runner mode or do both. But that’s my opinion, what do you guys think?
Entirely skill issue, Xeno is far easier to play than Singularity and EMPs are way, WAY more oppressive than turrets. You literally can't play around EMPs and need to infect all the survivors all over again if they play well, whereas all you need to do with turrets is a simple tail whip, back off for a second or run the green add-on. And even if you get burned you can easily regain your power in like 5 seconds if you just go into a tunnel.
-
At this point they should consider giving some sort of "piercing" effect to some of the powers that can ignore endurance (except for endurance after getting unhooked of course)
Example: Survivors trapped in a beartrap lose endurance, hitting a survivor with Huntress hatchets ignores endurance, hitting a survivor after uncloaking ignores endurance.

- DBD
Literally my favorite game of all time

It may give DBD some competition

Rihanna with predator blades.

I have platinum on PS4, though I haven't gotten all of the other DLC achievement.

Both Trapper and Sadako can ignore pallets, what ya smokin?
Lol, lmao.
I have tried using that new feature of hers, it may seem useful at first but it's only really useful against braindead survivors that panic easily, the cooldown you get if you cancel demanifestation renders it useless for mindgames.
-
Bruh are we really going to stat complaining about WoO of all perks?
-
The main building use to be nasty with old Sadako, you could condemn people pretty fast, but that can be said for almost every other double floor structure at the time. But now that she is reworked... Yeah. It is one of the many maps that basically force me to run ######### like bamboozle or STBFL every single game if I don't want to get curbstomped.
-
No, they are not adding sex to DBD.
-
@ThatRedPyramidThing said:
Nothing is wrong with the meta from the survivor side. Survivor is just as easy and strong as ever in fact more so since WoO does your pathing for you and you have 4 to 5 health states and perks to that speed up gens.
The only problem with survivor is the same problem that has always been there. Other survivors not doing gens. Just look at your hud and see how often none of the other survivors are doing anything.
Killer has no threat unless survivors just don't try.
Bruh do you actually unironically believe this is the easiest survivor has ever been just because of WoO? How long have you even been playing?
