The fact that we got the legion cosmetic (that by the way was supposed to have animations on the mask) instead of this is a sin.

I am very much a barb glasses enjoyer 😎 end/fury seems best on Demo for sure, that last build listed is the one I had suggested.

Seems like BBQ would have been the best info perk to tell when to teleport to a TV, do you think Floods of Rage is now the best?
BBQ is far more consistent because it works on most maps and you have greater control of when you want it to proc, but floods of rage is absolutely devastating given the right circumstances and really elevates Sadako on indoor maps, one of it's biggest upsides is that most of the time survivors don't even expect it. Floods of rage saved 3 of my games by telling me where a survivor was going put their tape.

lmao a bunch of people complaining will not make them disable an entire character.
-
- Onyro: Deadlock // Make Your Choice // Call of Brine // Overcharge
This... Doesn't really work. With no info perks Sadako really struggles, you REALLY need to calculate the TVs you are going to teleport to or you will lose both map pressure and potential slowdown. I love gen kicking builds with baby girl Sadako but TWO perks dedicated to it may be too much, I have found call of brine to be more than enough, sacrificing your info for more slowdown isn't really worth it. Make your choice is pretty ass since she has no way of reaching hooks quickly, you don't have tv's near hooks most of the time (but don't get me wrong, it's really nice when you do). And deadlock? Why? Sure, she can use the time but so does literally every other killer in the game, I would even go as far as to say that it is detrimental as most of the time you want survivors sticking their noses to their precious gens so you can build condemned with the TVs near them.
I would say that she is possibly the killer that benefits the most from the increased generator repairing speeds because it will allow her to build condemned more effectively, the amount of times survivors have repaired a gen in my face just as I am about to exit a TV is horrendous. So she will most likely benefit from the thana buff.
A couple of better builds I can think of:
- Thana/Sloppy/STBFL/(info perk of your liking, preferably BBQ or floods of rage)
- Overcharge/Dragon's grip/(info perk)/Pop
- Gift of pain/Floods of rage/agitation/starstruck (god tier on indoor maps)

Anyone else feel the same?
I think BHVR is trying to kill the hold W meta with the changes to hit recovery and speed boosts, but also adding a ######### ton of perks with endurance to not make it overbearing. I just wish BHVR stopped relying on perks to do all their balance work for them.
-
Since the changes they made to his reveal it has been pretty consistent for me, not sure what you mean.
-
Well, I am not going to excuse the behavior of the guys in the third lobby, but what the hell were you expecting telling everyone you are going to use an RPD map offering? That map is god awful for literally everyone except sweat squads and die hard RE fans.
-
I think they should just make it so it does not work when you are deep wounded.
-
I guess I will just go with dark sense since it looks a lot like call of brine.

The only thing that usefull are the perk to prevent tunneling & camping: OTR, DS, BT, Kindred.
As long as the tunneling/camping still in game, despite how stronger other perks can be, those still stay in meta.
Yeah. Kindred should have been made basekit this patch, not sure why BHVR is so reluctant to shorten the gap between solo and SWF.
-
It's great but there are still some perk concerns and map balance is still really bad. Hopefully they address it soon.
-
To be fair, this game is mostly balanced around perks at higher level, and survivors got quite some nasty perk buffs this patch.
-
Oh boy, I have a lot of killers I really want in this game, but most of them will probably never see the light of day because they really don't fit as horror staples.
- The killer from Persona 4 (as to not spoil anything). Despite not being horror driven, the game has a great focus on fog and the plot is basically a murder-mistery.
- The wendigo from Until Dawn, specifically because I would like to see a killer that has to rely entirely on audio qeues.
- The bloater from TLOU, I could see him working very well with some sort of short dash power and a side power relating to the spores he launches.
- Jacket from Hotline Miami, there is a lot of potential with his power.
- Any of the family members from RE7, but that would probably not be a great idea since we are getting Wesker soon.
- Scarecrow from DC comics, having a reality altering power would be super cool.
-
To be honest map design in this game is in general trainwreck. BHVR needs to adjust it to be more loop focused with fewer deadzones but also a fewer pallets. Make them smaller and keep gens away from very strong loops.

That's neat, but I feel like her unique chase theme should be based on "Hello Zepp".
Oh god this, getting chased while hearing the suspenseful chords playing would be soooo adrenaline inducing.

GOOD

Thats dumb. I mean, not a huge nerf, but why would they do it?
-
I have 200 cakes with Sadako and 143 with Haddie. Not a lot but it's quite something.
-
Bubba and billy already break pallets fast enough as is, but demo should be looked at.
-
In the morning he is basically unplayable, I can't see anything when he is on nightfall. But besides that he is pretty fun to verse.

Spirit used to be the 2nd best killer in the game (of course only behind the unbeatable nurse) because she could run stridor and she could still hear you grunt if you ran iron will. With the new iron will nerf, not only can spirit hear you with stridor, they dont even need to run stridor because nobody will run iron will. We are back to if spirit gets 1 hit on you the chase is over.
Use your ears.

Killer: From Pyramid Head to Sadako. Not only because I love the ring films but also because I like how she fundamentally changes the way the game plays out if you know how to play with TVs. Sure, not top tier by any means and 90% of the times you won't get to get that sweet inexorable stare, but pretty fun nonetheless.
Survivor: I mained Ash from the beginning but I am beginning to shift towards baby girl Haddie. She gives mad "I am going to beat the ######### out of the killer" vibes.

So I’m sitting here feeding my usual YouTube DBD video addiction and I’ve come across Dowsey’s video showcasing this display of ridiculously obtainable 2nd, 3rd, 4th chances as a survivor. I typically play survivor but will often play killer matches as well to do challenges. Seeing this has made me feel like I would be too annoyed to play killer if this actually does become the meta. Smart swfs will abuse this worse than the old meta I think.
Im not usually this lame but this potential meta seems too unfun to go against to be worth playing killer for me (at least if it does show up a whole lot in matches). I’m curious about others’ thoughts?
Yeah, off the record needs to be toned down to 20/25/30 seconds or so. I don't think it's as strong as people are saying specially with the decreased cooldown (and my yummy STBFL stacks!) but 80 seconds is just ridiculous, SWF can abuse it really easily.

Who the hell even uses that perk?
This lol. It's only really good when you want to help your buddy who is new to the game, otherwise there is next to zero reason to run this perk.

Current day Deathslinger basically only has 1 build that sort of functions.
- Save the Best for Last. This is basically mandatory to cut down on the amount of Hold W survivors can do post hit since Deathslinger is a 4.4 killer. One of the few upsides of the changes is the Deathslinger can much more easily save stacks by breaking the chain on the Obsession whenever they're healthy. If you're feeling spicy you might be able to replace this with a multi proc, consistent Exposed perk like Starstruck or Make Your Choice.
- Monitor and Abuse. This is basically mandatory to cut down on the amount of Hold W survivors can do when they first hear your Terror Radius. Without this, they can potentially waste an extra 20s before you've ever seen them because Slinger is the only 4.4 movespeed killer with 32m Terror Radius.
- BBQ and Chili or Thrilling Tremors. You have no time to patrol gens or any of that nonsense. Once you down the first person and got them on a hook, you NEED to get into another chase ASAP.
- Corrupt, Pop, Pain Resonance, or Deadlock. Even with all the previous time saving measures, you're going to still need more. So... 1 perk for gen defense/regression.
You basically need all 4 of those perks or perks from their related category to try to patch up all of Deathslinger's crippling weaknesses. If you don't have them, don't bother.
That's not true though, I can agree on STBFL definetely but there are plenty of stealth, info and gen regression perks that work better on him, I have had a lot of success with plaything and ruin (despite the low mobility). Exposed perks are also really good, with the extended terror radius starstruck is awesome on him and pairs very well with agitation and pain resonance.
-
I used to main him. Yeah the changes make him clunky asf, he is not terrible but not nearly as fun to play as before, and its not like the half a second aiming time does anything to help survivors on short loops - it's still basically unpredictable especially if you start aiming from behind a wall. I need to run at least 1 stealth perk or else I have an awful experience on big maps. I just wish they reworked his add-ons when they nerfed him, 90% of his add-ons are garbage and the other 10% range from decent to borderline overpowered (iri coin is god tier on some maps).
