Too much of a rinse and repeat killer. Nothing we hadn't seen before, hence the fall off. I played a lot of games against bots to practice the tail attack and my god the turrets were ridiculous. Bots knew exactly where to place them and they were unbearable.
-
If you were in grass, its possible they saw the grass move thus knew your precise location.
-
Its not an expensive game and it's a 1 off payment. No need for it to be free
-
In my first couple of years (ranks) Id win 9/10 games as Trapper, wasn't even difficult until I reached mid ranks in which he fell off a cliff. Nowadays, I win about 3-4/10 as Oni (console)
Survivors are 100 times better than they were against me back in years 2-4.
In a game of low experienced players, killers will often win. In a game of experienced players, survivors will will often win (as a previous poster stated)
-
Fog, tints, ranks were all far better. Played 4 games as Oni last night, only won 1 and had to sweat my pecs off to win it.
-
Never get slugged and 8/10 games as solo is quite fun. I do get some potatoes which is about as bad as my games get. Tunneling isn't that common, unless we flew threw early gens. Camping is super rare for me. Must just be a British thing (fair play) 🫡
-
Oni - Queing solved
Vittorio - He's Itaiian so probably quite eccentric.
-
My MM means that I have to try hard to win 🤷♂️
I litterally have to sweat to win matches....
-
Just started running it on Oni and its super useful. Wouldn't say its OP as you still have to go to the survivor and be able to catch them. Its difficult to counter as you can use it at anytime, opposed to being able to locker hide for BBQ just before hooks. I never faced Ultimate weapon when playing as survivor, so its obviously not heavilly picked.
-
No mither as Oni 🥰 (Litterally is god tier)
Boon COH - Blood warehouse for Oni
Iron Maiden - I run flashbangs so I get to be an irritating sod
-
As the text at the bottom of the screen says "Survivors tend to run with a plan"
If survivors want you do something, don't.
-
Isn't that the objective? Gens done? Open the exit.
-
As Oni, I leave them as the boon area turns into a blood ball pit.
-
Would like to have a year break from new characters to give us a chance to actually miss them being introduced. In the mean time, DLC map packs and fixes to current maps, aswell as fixing the dreadful so called 'Fog' we have.
-
The thing with noed that survivors seem to not pick up on, is that has 0 effect for the other 95% of the match, so you've effectively played with 3 perks all game.
-
Final flourish - In the final moments of the final round you know the end is near, you feel a surge of adrenaline and belief before fully depleting your energy store. As soon as ECG starts, gain haste for 60 seconds and possess a 50% chance that the next hit from the killer triggers the endurance state instead.
Respect the injury - With such a dedication to training and wellbeing, you refuse to have your progress hampered by injury, thus you work around it. You ignore the effects of deep wound and broken status effects for the initial 20 seconds upon receiving them.
Vocal - You may be quiet in general, but you come alive in the sporting arena. Survivors within 10 meters of you can see the auras of you, the basement and the 3 nearest generators.
-
Was thinking about this yesterday and was hoping someone would bring it up. Surely they have to rework the guards slightly or it kinda renders them kicking gens a bit pointless. May aswell fire a patrol elsewhere and kick it yourself.
Lots of people think the Knight needs reworking, perhaps this is window for it.

Who?

Delete this daft thread. The survivors got out played in 5 mins. Would be like moaning that you're 5 nil down at HT on FIFA 🙄
-
Should be able to see teammates perks pre game. Perhaps even have perk refreshers during the loading screen.
-
Jurrasic Park / Jurrasic World most probably. Lockwood estate or inside an exhibit with the Indoraptor as killer and Dr Malcolm as survivor.
-
As survivor - Escape
If I sacrifice myself to save someone else, id take that as a draw .
As killer - 3K +
-
Hopefully Carnifex as been hitting the treadmill and Jailer has figered out how to catch people.
-
You should play as killer and see just how chilled out and fun it is :)
-
Feels chilly? Either they add warmth (shelter) a different building variant, or the building is gutted so it'll feel more chilly 😅
Id hedge bets towards a new map / variant for Ormond.
-
I'm sure a few could have 'Bad to the bone'
-
I don't slug for 4k, if I sacrifice the 3rd player and the 4th is still somewhere, its game on for the hatch. More often than not I give the hatch anyway.
-
Boring
1. Legion - Terrible aesthetic, toxic and sweaty every time.
2. Nurse - Unplayable if they're decent
3. Skull Merchant - Only faced 2 so can't put them top. Awful aesthetic.
Annoying
1. Doctor (Dr no skill will see you now)
2. Pinhead (Solo stomper)
3. Legion - Just counters evasive plays by pallet vaulting and being stabbed every 4 minutes is annoying.
* Shoutout to plague, throwing up noises every 30 secs is and being unable to stop it annoying af.
-
I run with flashbangs and there's been a few times recently when I dropped a flashbang and then tried to use my endurance to tank a hit shortly after, but I got downed. Took a while to figure out why but yeah, I noticed the part which says conspicuous action, which flashbangs are.
-
Survivors I face are never bad, not even remotely. Its more of a case of how good they are. Ranks were far better than this mess. If you wanted a challenge or to sweat, you get to red, if you want balanced games, play at green etc etc
-
Mine this year has been 99% bonus for killers, the 1% being all this week bonus for the survivors.
-
Need scenario training, a bit like how FIFA and Pro Evo used to do them.
Lesson 1, Basic looping
Lesson 2, Advanced looping (pallet play)
Lesson 3, Advanced looping (Mind games)
Etc etc

You have stick drift most likely. Time for a new controller.
Yeah, had this issue a couple of years ago on PS4. Character felt like he was running through mud.
To the OP, You can try and air sprayer and spray in and around the controller sticks, sometimes fluff gets in there. Blowing hard can work but the air can is better.
-
Ranks were better. A new player would start at rank 20 and face rank 20's.
-
As survivor - Absolute party game. Job is to make the match as miserable for the killer as possible. Relaxing, a laugh, no pressure so it doesn't matter if you die, providing you give the killer the runaround for a bit.
Killer - Not a party game. Anger/frustration simulator.

They do need to tune down Pain Res, it's a little too strong considering it's so easy to get value from it. Pop I think is okay but I could see it getting nerfed slightly.
And yes, much of the other gen slowdown perks need to be buffed so they're actually useable. So many garbage ones.
Disagree. The perk requires a lot of management. You don't want to activate it seconds after a gen already popped so you have to time your SH, there's a lof of timing and strategy involved so the pay off is fair imo. All 4 survivors need to be downed AND within range of a SH WHEN a gen is 50% or more completed.
-
Camping Bubba you just have to cut your losses. Easy 2 man escape, possibly 3 if you can rotate the hooked survivor. Thrash gens and then roll eyes about how the opposition set out to spoil the match.
-
Yeah miserable event tonight. Got whooped twice on solos so thought ok, I ll go play Oni and whoop some survivors.
4 games as killer v navy seals. Trying to play as Oni on console on RPD followed by the Game, opponents on coms, awful lag (players are litterally teleporting)
Played 4 lost 4 got 2 kills. Last game, 2 downs, one into a flashbang, the next its a pallet stun. As solo survivor, my teams always get thrashed. No other game winds me up as much as dbd.
-
Unless you run undying, no. I see Devour occasionally.
-
I can never tell. I have had a flying Pinhead and what appeared to be lag switching right before a melee hit but i litterally have never called foul any other time in all my years of playing.
-
A level 5 Wraith v a 100 Feng, bet that felt pleasant.😅
-
Its a comedy party game. They had a spurt of horror when they added the spooky Dredge with his darkness ability, but apart from that, its full of neon t shirts and pretty jumpers.
-
Stabiliser perk imo. I can absolutely see the need for it for new players to the game. I can remember the days when I wasn't overly surely where vaults were, but it's pretty easy to grasp with experience, map knowledge and actually paying attention when playing as to where the opportunities are.
Its absolutely fine how it is and doesn't remotely need attention.
-
Always wanted some kind of character prestige/challenges to complete. X amount of time played, kills, hooks, correct use of power etc etc. So you can actually have a sense of perfecting/completing as many klllers as you like. I could play Plague tonight and the survivors won't have any idea that I've NEVER played Plague before, as opposed to playing my main who I've played for ages now.
-
A lot of Knight loving on these pages tonight. I thought he was hated? Or is that just survivors who don't like him?
-
Knight + Skull Merchant - Le Gens 24 hours
-
A hot year ☀️🌴
Egypt - Mummy
Spain - Matador
Arabia - Djinn
Australia - Bush man / Croc hunter
-
The map tints
New Coldwind
Grades replacing Ranks
-
Id say it froze ....... or even throws 🙃
-
As captain Barbosa would say about the survivor rule book "They're more like guidelines than actual rules"
I ll play how I see fit. Anything that survivors don't like will be reactive instead of proactive.
