Oh i used to do that also I never would put myself through that much pain If I did I would literally die from all that. No what I tend to do is scream into a pillow or smash my head against my desk which is a lot less painful
Yes lol

In my personal experience, a Nurse takes more practice to master, plus she has a warning sign of when she is going to blink. Sprit can just come up behind you with no indication whatsoever. The nurse is easier to face.

its either that or a baseball bat to the ballsack take your pick. Plus brick wall ain't much hell I smashed my head to crush a soda can before and it worked
When I get mad at video games I just smash my controller on the floor.
-
I love exhaustion perks, they are great to use and fun to play with.
-
Spine chill is a nice perk, it grants the ability to better track when a stealth killer is near you. But, it is not the best perk.

Yeah it makes me actually want to smash my skull against a brick wall which I've done a few times
Ouch
-
It is fine how it is, 90 seconds was way too overpowered.
-
I don't even mind facing nurses, if you run Dead Hard it makes facing her a little easier.
-
Gotta include Jack Baker

That I didn't get the de-rank, I tend to absolutely love it, because it's a fresh start usually. I'm currently at rank 6 and I'm not enjoying it.
Red Ranks are not fun, most games I face those survivors who all run the best perks and run me for like the entire game. Then message you something toxic when you really did nothing.
-
I have played many games with him at Red Ranks. He has no map pressure nor lethality and without add ons, he is just un playable
-
I have always enjoyed the Plague Doctor. I would love a killer based on them
-
Goosebumps or larva
-
Dead Hard is my favorite because it is great for distance and its fun
-
Bro wth is wrong with Dead Hard. I run it every game its not OP
-
She is quite good at camping tho. She could sit somewhere waiting for a trap to go off and just teleport over there.
-
They should make survivors have 150% speed at all times

I loved it but wish the Beneviento House lasted longer or the game had a little bit more horror throughout. It felt like Capcom was just reminding us that they CAN give us some of the best horror in gaming right now if they want to, but they're taking it easy on us for Village.
That being said, I've read multiple articles pointing out why they chose to do that and it does make sense in many ways. Also haven't tried Village of Shadows difficulty yet, so maybe they ramp it up a bit with that? Either way, still an absolute gem of a game. I'll be playing it for quite a while
Agreed. Village of Shadows was so hard for me. I had 18 health meds and an infinite ammo dragoon saved up from previous runs. And even with those items I died during the survivor the Lycan Attack section.

Twins, Plague, Phead and Huntress better than Freddy? I dont think so 😂
I would agree Phead and Huntress and plague are more powerful, not Twins
-
usually theres some sort of complaint or reasoning that comes along with these type of posts
-
Sure, could be cool
-
Lady D would not work, her power was claws. The Daughters could work, but no one wants them
-
Nurse and Spirit have the most potential of losing a chase if they mess up. But, I respect Bight
-
That map is pretty hated on. Mine is All of the Macmillan Maps
-
Ok I understand where this is coming from, and I agree I think she does need a nerf, but they cannot just nerf every good killer out there.
-
NO NO NO. DO NOT BRING THE OLD STRUGGLE BACK.
-
@Drixpy_Jayyy said:
Does this happen to y'all ?
Happens everytime with unbreakable. When I run it, the perk does not do much. When I don't I need it the most
-
I think Nurse is very hard.

@MrLimonka said:
I really doubt that one of the daughters is a killer. They were very insignificant and were small mini-bosses.
I think it will be a killer from the previous games, not RE8. If it's RE8, though, I would bet on either Miranda or Lady Dimitrescu.
Heisenberg would be cool

Yeah I mean apart of me asked okay from what started as a simple regular Romanian village now escalated to a whole damn factory, how does that work. I did love however fighting the Sturm though that was an awesome fight. But the scariest place imo was house Beneviento, particularly with the psychological aspects, god it feels like they literally took what P.T. did and I'm not complaining
Yes! The P.T. Part ( Beneviento) Was so scary it was hard to play. Especially when the Giant Fetus was chasing you, and it was dark and the wall was kinda changing. It was a whole P.T. thing, with a hint of the ring. Like the well Part. It was very good, and yeah like you said we went from a village to like a next world factory.

Tbh after playing RE8, I'd say Heisenberg would be a better, more interesting choice. The man literally has the ability to control metal telekinetically which is something people really wanted to see in a long time come into DBD.
Although Lady D was scary as hell, she would just be an imposing walking killer who literally is immune to everything. Kinda wished they did more for her though she was such a terrifying yet cool character.
Now the RE killer could be anyone so lets just wait and see
Heisenberg would be awesome, his boss fight was also amazing. The factory part was as tedious as the boat from re7 tho ;-;
-
Pennywise the Dancing Clown :D
-
After playing through RE8, I can say that Lady D would not fit in dbd. Unless they gave her the powers of her daughters so like an undetectable teleport thing.
-
Did anyone else come here thinking it was going to be a complaint about the new coldwind farm?
-
Pulled off some nice plays with this perk.
-
So would you enjoy the main antagonist of Resident Evil 8 being a k pop star? Or adding nonhorror aspects like anime to it? I do enjoy the new coldwind. But the trickster is terrible visually
-
Love the maps
-
Jack

I managed to 4k as Billy on midwitch, one of the worst maps for him, should I count that as an accomplishment?
how good were the survivors?
-
There is not much to do; but, you could use WGLF for survivor or BBQ and Chili for the killer, and some offerings like escape cake and blood party streamers.
-
Stop comparing the two games, both have pluses and minuses.
-
I don't even think it's really a problem, but yes it's unsolvable.

Again, I don't know anything about RE, but aren't Nemesis and Mr. X much more iconic then Jack Baker? So wouldn't it make sense to go with one of them?
Yea but Jack Baker was a great killer in re7

Ugh but Plague is like 9000 iridescent shards and lame.
I do not like plague either lol, I looked away when I grinded her (because she is disgusting) to level 30 and didn't use her once.

@RenTheCat said:
Why is this even a thing? How come all 4 survivors can split up, go into the corners of he map and start working on a gen? If you don't find anyone in 80 seconds that's 4 gens doing in ONE MINUTE (and 20 seconds). If you do find someone, in those big ass maps, then during one chase or just as you got the first hook you have 3 gens pop up.
You can't teleport around the map, you can't make chases take 1 second, you can't make the gen progress actually regress because Hex: Ruin spawn is a joke and kicking the gen doesn't do anything (And pop goes the weasel literally requires you to hook someone).
Then survivors claim there is no gen rush and that they are just doing their objective but their objective sure as hell isn't to take advantage of how it's more efficent for some reason to do gens alone (Instead of being the opposite so it encourages teamwork) and each one go on a gen in the corners of the map so the killer can't find you.
And why should anyone even bother with late game if all the totems will have been destroyed by then (since they spawn righ next to generators) and if the killer is trying to defend the last remaining 3 gens they will just find a key and leave through the hatch.
run corrupt intervention :)
-
I would very much enjoy the survivor being Ethan Winters, and I would like Jack Baker
-
Waiting for Pennywise.

@Superyoshiegg said:
The Baker's House backyard is not nearly big enough to fit a DBD map, and the Tanker Ship has too many different levels and would be too claustrophobic to work as well.
My bets are: RPD or Raccoon City streets if the Chapter is themed after the older games, or the titular Village in RE8 if it's themed after the newer titles.
True but they could expand the yard a bit
