Due to OP insulting and attacking everyone who disagreed with them, I decided to close this thread.
I also want to add that someone's opinion isn't more or less legit depending on their rank or their skill, adding that kind of information would just enable people to belittle others just based on their rank, which is unacceptable.

There was no delay if the release date wasn't confirmed yet, all the information you seem to have was related to speculations, taken from non official sources.

There's nothing related to credit cards or more sensitive information and everything has been done to take immediate precautions, we still suggest to contact Support in case of abnormal behavior of your account.

Ok, that's enough, this thread has been going for too long.
The moment you agreed to the EULA you also agreed to changes made to the live game, if you don't like it, you can revoke the consent and play something else.
You cannot test a multi-platform based matchmaking on a PTB where maybe 10% of the playerbase of a single platform plays for a day, this system is going to influence every single player in the community and needs to be tweaked and fixed live, because that's the only way to get actual data to make the system better.
That's it, that's simply it, without mentioning that it's a 24 hours test, not even a definitive change.

When you want to report someone, keep in mind in-game reports are mandatory, any additional evidence (in this case video evidence) can be sent to support here https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us/requests/new by opening a ticket and selecting the option "Additional Player Report Information".
You will need their SteamID64 if they are on Steam or their name tag in case of console players.

Sinceramente quello che consigliamo noi è di evitare di cambiare i file di gioco, quindi se vuoi farlo è a tuo rischio, noi non banniamo attivamente, ma EAC potrebbe bannare per aver modificato i file di gioco.

Why can't they just listen now? There is plenty of very clear feedback they are choosing entirely to ignore it.
Why do we have to wait until the patch goes live for a week or two before they will even hear our questions out?
Even then, you guys decide what questions are even given to them to look at; which if that is the case it makes me doubt the feedback forum even does anything at all. I mean, most of the feedback is the opposite of what they actually went and did, so what's that all about?
That's not true, the community decides what questions are going to get answered, upvoting said questions when we open the Q&A section.

The moderators as members of the community team do not take part in the game development and have no information about changes, so there is nothing I or my colleagues can explain you regarding the thought process behind those decisions, but it's something that you will be able to ask if the Developers do a Q&A for this patch.

You are confusing what happens on a streaming platform with what happens on a discussion platform, as said we have a clearly stated rule against naming and shaming, if you have any issue with those people, you have to discuss it with them on their platform.

Questo è il forum del gioco base, Mobile è diverso e sinceramente non so come funzioni con competenze e trasferibili.
Se funziona nello stesso modo, una volta sbloccate le trasferibili, quelle competenze inizieranno ad apparire sulla Bloodweb degli altri personaggi, non posso però assicurarti che sia lo stesso su Mobile.

Just to clarify doubts about what the developers had or have in mind, this is their official statement regarding this topic:
So yeah, initially they wanted the players to create their own narrative, but since things have changed.
Inclusivity and representation mean a lot to the team.

People's identity and existence is not something political, it's literally their life, and if they want representation in a videogame they love, then they deserve it.
It's not a political statement, it's giving part of the community something they want and deserve.

Please try to stay on topic, this thread has nothing to do with game balance or bug fixes.
To go back on track: you might not care about representation, it might not affect you and you are lucky enough to live a life without discrimination, but please keep in mind it's not true for everyone, others might care and might want to feel represented and welcomed in a game they love, and they shouldn't need to fight to be treated equally.

Just to add to this, BHVR already explained their plans about LGBTQ+ characters, they care about representation, they want their players to feel a connection with the characters.
