Wait why would you purposely mori a streamer?
The majority of streamers I've come against are of the toxic variety. Either they're out to make my match as frustrating as possible (vault spamming when I don't give them attention, for instance), or they're part of a bully SWF. I just don't like it, so I don't put up with it, reason given or not.
-
Either it's a daily requiring me to kill somebody 'with my own hand,' a TTV, a SWF I recognize, or a key.
-
I still think Ruin should be base kit, at a reduced rate. . .
-
It's because they can be stacked. And when you stack them on up to four survivors, it becomes a slog. Considering how fast matches go, it adds an incredible amount of pressure.
Then you have SWF that further escalate the issue.
When it comes to NOED, it really is the killers only second chance perk. Do bones, you negate it. There are four survivors, five totems. I've had survivor teams simply run by totems to do a gen, then complain when NOED activates. I wouldn't mind having the perk tweaked, or adding a totem counter of some kind, but again, it's not hard to negate.
Yes, there are counters to survivor second chance perks, but there are four survivors, again. You're having to work around multiple second chance perks, around multiple survivors.
-
There was no MMR system put in place. It's simply a free for all, first come first serve scenario. Devs got tired of the old system, couldn't figure out a new one, and removed restrictions of rank. It's why the 'individual skill rating' is hidden, because there isn't one.

Or is it?

Hi Boosted!

If you can afford Bubba, then BBQ is a top choice. Plus, with his rework, you can actually use him.
-
I'm curious as to why survivor hitboxes aren't the entirety of their model. Then, you could change hatchet hitboxes to rectangle, and wouldn't have to deal with them phasing through.
-
There's a difference between killer complaints and survivor complaints.
Mainly, there are FOUR survivors. With only five totems on the map, it shouldn't take that much effort to clear them. If NOED is activated, somebody, or everybody, ignored the secondary objective. That isn't on the killer, that's on the survivors.
-
None. Either stand by the gate and let them do gens, or DC. Don't need to deal with that kind of stupidity.
-
A lot of people would like that, myself included.
However, that's a quality of life adjustment, and BHVR doesn't do that. Additionally, they tend to ignore SWF even existing.

Any killer can win if played effectively.
Although, in my way of playing, winning is not a priority, having fun with any killer with different builds is.
Wrong. If you place a skilled killer vs a skilled survivor group, the survivors will win, unless the killer is one of the big four (Nurse, Spirit, Billy, Freddy). Most other killers do not have the map coverage necessary to apply enough pressure.

I feel like every new chapter I’m reading a perk thinking, “man this wouldn’t replace one of the top 6 meta perks but I could really use this,” and then BHVR adds two extra sentences that completely neuter the perk for some reason.
I share the sentiment. Look at Trail of Torment. An interesting perk that's shafted with the gen glow.
-
Devs have some weird fetish for adding a drawback to weak perks.
-
What situation? I'm confused.
-
Knowing how to chain tiles for optimal chase time.
Understanding the map and gen placement, to avoid 3 gen situations.
-
For me, the best part is that I can actually have fun, instead of sweating. I can pip without getting any kills, and I have no problem with it.
-
sigh
It only went as long as it did because I tried to farm with them a bit. Gave the Claudette the hatch.
-
Depends on what I'm in the mood for.
For a competitive side, I look at Tru3 and Otz.
For a chill experience, Umbra and Jaee.
I recently discovered Ardetha. The British accent kills me.
-
Goodness, no. A lot of my games 3 - 4 escape, and I only maintain rank due to efficient juggling, just not enough to clinch kills. Then there are the games where I am completely trounced, be it at loops, or blitzed at gens. That's ignoring the SWF GGEZ squads.
-
Remember, the devs think he's 'underrated.' So, I'm not surprised they would pull something like this. If it isn't a bug, that is.
-
You face camp. Until devs address second chance reliance, there isn't much you can do.
-
The times I've jumped out of my skin are when they drop a pallet on my head from out of nowhere. I have no idea they're there, I'm just walking through a jungle gym and BAM! Pallet to the face.
-
Thana, Dying Light, PGTW, Surge.
-
Because Nea is the Entity? Duh.
-
@malatruse Ha, that would be fun.
-
Well, her lullaby is her warning system, much like her grunt when she hefts a hatchet.
But I like the general idea. Why not reverse it? When she lands a hatchet, her lullaby goes map wide for 30+ seconds? Similar to Legion's iri addon.

90 seconds is nothing from when you first get hit. If your even remotely decent at looping you can run the killer for minimum 30 seconds to a minute If you reach a pallet or window.
Then if he does get you and you get hooked by the time you saved your item is gone.
Then your item is gone, and you go find something else, or bring a new one. Big deal. That just means that's one perk the killer can't use against you until you get something new in your hands.
-
You have 90 seconds to grab it.
-
You're forgetting that some of the killers were twisted and tortured by the Entity to make them into what they are currently.
-
Devs don't even know how it works. Since, you know, they try and sweep SWF under the rug as if it isn't there.
-
Depends on what I see them doing. For instance, if all three are doing gens? No.
If two are doing gens and one being chased? No.
Is one doing a gen, one crouching on the other side of the map, and one popping in and out of a locker? You better believe it.
-
I would be for it, so long as you split chat. If survivors wanna get strategic, they should.
Personally, I think it would help with the toxicity in this game. You only get to talk to the other side in the post game, and there, emotions are running high depending on how the match went. If you could remind people that, yes, there's another person on the other in at the start of the match, it might help.
-
They should. Hiding them makes me suspicious. When matchmaking eventually fails down the road, we won't have the numbers to show it. Which makes me think that's exactly what the devs want. If we can't show that matchmaking failed, such as with ranks, then we can't hound them about the issue.
-
I haven't put anything into Freddy above Level 40. Maybe I should, and try this out.
-
Didn't you hear? Clown is underrated, and is secretly a strong killer, according to the devs.

Killers whining about being locked in is ridiculous. Survivors don't get to see the killer to prepare via that killers perks. Its a complete crap shoot for the survivor, especially solo surviviors.
@Strange_Main said:
How bout just be better prepared! Survivors can't even see who their up against! I play killer and don't care if they switch. Just play or don't!!!
Responses like these are so weird. You realize it's 4v1, right? That's the nature of the game. How can you 'fairly' set up, even when you see the survivors, when they can just switch at the last second to something you aren't prepared for?
-
Plague, because I love her to pieces. A fan of her backstory, and shutting multiple survivors down with a well placed Corrupt is just the best.
Feng, because bunny ears go floop flop.
-
Okay.
-
So, you want stats, thinking it'll ruffle killer player feathers? Okay. . .

Why do you say this? Predict the game dying or something?
No. I just feel that the new MMR won't do much in the long run. SWF is a thing, and it's going to bring the same rank imbalance we have now, except with the 'secret skill tracker.' Devs haven't yet said how the new MMR will affect SWF member, so I'm assuming it's going to be as the whole, similar to how it is now.
-
Crossplay is coming. As is the new MMR system. Though, I don't think it'll matter in a few months after.
-
Survivors can't think beyond looping, in most cases. I agree she should have more tells, but a lot of posts again boil down to 'I can't loop this killer like usual, thus they must be bad.'
-
Devs can't even add a colorblind option. Do you really think they care about mori/keys?

Who said it wasn't racist?
Common sense. Dude wears other peoples skin. He doesn't care for skin color, he just does it. If people want to look deeper into that, or have players try and use that for a nasty frame of mind, that's on them.

Blackface's only purpose is to LITERALLY make fun of African American's but ok.
So, it's not racist to wear the skin of other ethnicity, but omg, how dare one of those be black? What if black was excluded? Would people get butthurt over that? 'Muh representation!'
-
The playerbase wants to get rid of it. The devs thinks it keeps things engaging. Thus, it won't be removed.
-
I hate this day and age where everybody is super sensitive over everything. . .
-
Could you format it into paragraphs? It's difficult to read a wall of text.
-
Not really. Prestige is a waste of BP, considering how many characters there are that you can use. It's just good for flexing.
