"It's entirely up to killers if DS/BT activates"
*cheers and confetti*
"It's entirely on survivors if NOED activates"
*boos and tomatoes*

A lot of Docs are running Whispers now, and it counters lockers (if Whispers is activated and Blast doesn't hit anyone, they're in a nearby locker).
Not really super helpful info, but maybe this tidbit will help you in the future.

I think Freddy is a great template for what a killer should be...
Unique mechanics (dream/lullaby)
Multiple powers (pallets/snares)
Map Pressure (teleport)
Add-ons that synergize with his perks/theme of slowdown/stall

Female Killer that's into The Clown, please.

He benefits TOO nicely, just letting him know damn that's dirty, nothing against it but a Insta down killer with NOED hurts.
It worked for him cause he 3k'd after all gens popped.
If you're getting constant insta-downs with Bubba-Saw, you're playing potatoes (imo).
-
I'd argue that Leatherface is a killer that can benefit from NOED.

And now it sounds like that killer's aren't good anymore. Or have no good perks, I think killers have allot of good perks. And i agree the Ruin nerf is in favior of the survivior, but before the change it was way too overpowered and everybody used it so then you get people who will say there opinion and the devs listend. Sorry for that.
So you think the reworked dokter who makes you can't jump over pallets/fast vault is fair then? Or when a killer does a charged shot and u are already done with vaulting you still get hit? Or way to large hit boxes? Killers like Billy and Leatherface can easely catch up to surviviors and 1 shot everybody. Killers have devour of hope wich, bbq, nurse calling, noed.
But yeah let's see with the new matchmaking changes how it goes :)
How is Leatherface easily catching up to people?
-
I've gotten 4k with 5 Gens up while running NOED (obviously inactive) and have seen things like "Oh, it's ok - They're using NOED - They're bad" and so on.
NOED is fine, and fast on its way to becoming a meta perk in this "speedy meta."

it was 1 year and half ago.
The hook time is unaffected by killer proximity. It was tested in a ptb before, but was abused.

Uhm no, they chaged that a while ago, only if they didnt change it back, but when you were close to a hooked survivor and you arent on a chase the hook stages are higher
Link?

When the killer is camping you the hook stages are longer.
I'm pretty sure each stage is 1 minute regardless of killer proximity.
-
@BeHasU said:
Whats there to be fixed. You get camped, 3 survivors escapes and the killer depips. While he is camping the hook stages are longer than usual. Learn how to loop, it's so easy to lose killers these days with all the perks and survivor side maps.
Hook stages are longer?

@LetsPlayTogether said:
Slugging isnt outplaying survivors. Its outdoing basic game mechanics and just scummy play as killer. The only thing that needs to be fixed is that slugging shouldnt be possible like it actually is. Its not fun to lay on the ground half the game til a sweaty killer got his "will".
I can see that you are clearly an unbiased killer main.
-
And that build is?

You need A LOT of DC's to trigger the current ban system.

"DS only exists to compensate for cheap plays" he said, jumping inside and outside of the locker repeatedly.
Since the introduction of the EGC, Adrenaline also works if the hatch is closed, which is another failure state for survivors.
-
@LetsPlayTogether said:
NOED is the perfect example of how a perk shouldnt work. Doing nothing for it to get a game changer. All killers would cry a river if survivors would have anything similar, but because its a killer thing its all fine. Double standards like always.
DS requires a survivor to fail at stealth, lose the chase (or get grabbed), and get hooked in order to activate, as it activates upon unhook.
You can't ever activate DS through godly/perfect play, but strangely, it can guarantee escapes and create unwinnable scenarios for the killer.
Imagine.

"Killers tend to average around 100K a game"

No Ruin, No Problem

*laughs in Dead Hard costing you entire chases*
-
It'd definitely be nice to know, as preemptive feedback could be provided and people could adjust their gameplay now, if necessary.
-
*gets 4k with 3 gens left*
"Ahahaha, you're running NOED, baby killer."
Yeah - Shame I never had the chance to play with 4 perks :(
-
I gotta ask - How did a 'baby Leatherface" slug your team?
-
That's ok, soon there will be a hidden matchmaking score :D
-
*survivor wait time intensifies*
-
The game is not designed or balanced around voice chat, apparently.
-
Dead Hard basically insta wins chases against the new nurse (distance + extended cooldown for whiffed attack).
I don't use her anymore.
-
Uninstall.
-
*gets 32k w/ double pip running NOED*
"gitgud"

You can really tell by certain comments how effective it is ;3

What part of finding a survivor, winning a chase (usually vs exhaustion perks), picking up the survivor (and avoiding Flash saves / body blocking), and making it to a hook do you think is the least skillful part of activating BBQ for a specific range 4s aura reading on anyone that cannot counter it?
Please elaborate.
Still looking for you to validate your stance on its multi-step activation requirement being too easy.

It's safe to ignore 99% of post-game chats.
Imagine getting salty over the killer exerting control with 1 gen remaining.
You 'camp' those gens.
Congrats on playing well :)

Full Disclosure -
Playing against toolboxes/SWF can suck, but I'd rather have the variety in my matches on a dynamic scale instead of every match feeling the same. It also feels super good to knock out 2-4 people of a hit squad.
I think the same way as survivor, too - Oh, he's using a Mori and powerful add-ons? LET'S GET DANGEROUS.
-
I usually alt-tab out until my killer match starts.
Finishing season 4 of Mr. Robot is more important than dodging items.

I'm just making suggestions is less discouraging to newer players and yet retains all of the reasons people use it. Instead of defending a perk blindly because you don't care about survivors, hiw about you recognize the problems and give constructive feedback towards solutions. I've heard this ilk dozens and dozens of times, I'm not enjoying the music this broken record is spitting out.
Here's one for you: No, nothing is wrong with MoM, free hit is fine as it is. Survivor is playing with a handicap all match until they get 3 hits, the perk itself is easily counter-able by not hitting survivors throughout the match or just not hitting them after it activates.
There is no need for MoM to be nerfed-that would just be the devs holding the killers' hands. Instadowns and grabs exist, if anyone has a problem with MoM they can use those to down survivors.
I can do another one for BL or old DS or even old SC if you like :)
What's the point of listing perks that have been deemed problematic and changed by the devs themselves when talking about one that they've said is in a good place?
Maybe the Small Game rework will have a totem counter. It probably won't, though, given that they've stated they want totems to play a bigger role for survivors.

Faster than on PS4. Last night I played a few rounds and then a live-stream and we found matches in about 5 minutes of less each time.
Off-topic, but my friend and I really like your animations (we started watching at Taco-Man).
She won't stop singing the Hex song, now, though.

DS was heavily nerfed. It used to work on all 4 survivors every time they were picked up until they hit it. Now, it only procs if the killer is playing like a jerk.
BT only exists to allow saves for when the killer is camping. Stop camping and it will be a useless perk. It's exceptionally rare for me to get hit with DS or to see someone get the deep wound from BT.
Play better. In my games, every survivor with those perks might as well only have two perks all game.
That's not at all how old DS worked.

You do not need to buy any DLCs to complete the Rift. Any characters needs to complete the challenges are available in the store via shards (Auric Cell only characters are not required), and any perks needed for challenges can be bought in the shrine for shards as well. In the event that a DLC perk is required, it will be guaranteed to appear in the shrine at some point during the Rift, typically during the week the challenge is added or the week immediately following.
The short version, in response to your concern about an Auric Cell only character being required, everything you need will be available for shards.
Does this mean there will never be a Pig animatic?!

1). No - You can level up The Rift just by gaining XP by playing matches.
2). The Collection is for the lore bits you get from "Master Challenges."
3). 70
ALSO, MAKE SURE YOU GET THE CLOWN COSTUME - ELEPHANT POWAHHHHH

Do them as fast as you want.

Yeah they double nerfed it. Skillcjecks are easy and it takes you all the Way to one.
It's too much if a nerf
Now, you can also stop the action and it retains your progress.

DBD is usually within the top 25 played games on Steam, sometimes breaking the top 10 during peak hours.
That's the entire Steam platform, with 30k games.
GAME IS DEDZ.
