I love blood points.
-
I use it because it lets me know what walls/windows/pallets have spawned without ever needing to see the area first hand.
It removes a level of rng/risk from my gameplay.
-
They'll probably let you swap between snares and pallets on fly, add some slow down add-ons with reduced percentages, and call it a day.

As someone who runs this build regularly, getting 3 tokens rarely happens and costs you so much time it's not worth it. You get 1 token at a time if you're lucky, if you try for more you lose gens.
Maybe they can make it so that you lose a token when attacking so it takes you a ludicrously long time to get any semblance of speed back when you down someone!
-
That must be it.
-
Distortion sure does counter an ever growing list of perks and add-ons.
Probably the most out of any perk in the entire game.
Thanks for the list!
-
Chucky is terrible.
He gets bodied by almost every window and pallet.

IN THE ARMS OF AN ANGEL,
FLY AWAY FROM HERE

I am shocked that this thread has descended into 'Us vs Them.'
-
Never really thought about all the scenarios/perks Distortion countered before.
Thanks for the list!
-
This Distortion change is certainly bringing out the hyperbole.
Definitely makes me think it's a healthy change.

They need to overhaul how they inspect reported matches at this rate, this is unacceptable.
The fact that it is on the players to police the game AND submit evidence is not really a good look at all.
There should be checks/mechanisms in game that do all of this automatically.
-
No difference to me.

X?
This is the spot!

Glad you give valuable input!
Thanks.
Glad my habit of just posting my observations without bias or being diminutive to others is paying off!

This topic has, of course, progressed exactly as one would expect it to on the forums.

Chucky is terrible, atm.

A blessing? How? Killers lose another micro skill called hook management. Also it unnecessarily buffs hook perks for no reason.
Big fan of your posts.
Keep up the good work.

I feel like I'm in a time loop.

Fire Up - I'd love to see it at 5% per token, include Exit Gates for a potential 7 tokens, and also provide 2% hit/miss cooldown reduction per token.
It could be a fun/fair comeback/catch-up perk :3

Hearing what some people in this thread consider “tunneling” totally explains why people think there’s way more tunneling than there actually is. Some of these definitions of tunneling are so wildly far off from what actual tunneling is. I feel like people use these broad definitions as a means to take accountability off themselves for how a match went.
downs you 4 minutes after unhook, patrol, and a failed chase
'Filthy tunneler'

eye rolls into outer space
I can't believe they would try to get achievements during the event!

I forgot to mention - I think Distortion is fine.

If we're deleting perks, there are about 20 killer perks and 17 survivor perks I would want to delete. Either because they are busted or because they should be basekit
The relevance of most of those perks after a survivor is revealed by Ultimate Weapon and most likely being stalked or chased is zero.
They're just using a weak 'but what about' argument.
-
@ReverseVelocity said:
Maybe. It's kind of on the same degree as Borrowed Time in terms of usefulness I think, if not a little better. A good anti-tunnel perk, and it has obvious tells when it's in play, so you know when to let a survivor go.
I'm glad to see this perk actually be useful now. I don't really want it to get nerfed. I say let it go to Live and see how it plays out. If it's too bonkers, bump the duration down a little bit.
Now we just need to buff Camaraderie and the Stevening will be upon us…*tips hat*
Good Stevening!

Lots of great builds <3_<3

70% will only be a problem for tunnelers, if you don't tunnel you won't have a problem with this perk.
Please describe what is happening in this scenario.
-
The 10m minimum on his power seems crazy restrictive, especially at loops/breaking pallets.

Perk Treats is my favorite :3

Legion also has an add on that makes survivors drop their items when they are hit while in Frenzy.
This could be a neat perk combo with Legion + Add-On + Thana
-
Phew!
Worried I missed the new and exciting Us vs Them…totally unlike the last 300.
I haven't seen this combo in any of my games, but I may try it later and see what the fuss is about!
-
Never care about what people say about your gameplay.
There are a lot of miserable people out there that will be dissatisfied regardless of whatever you do.
-
Chucky is pretty weak and bland these days.
Scamper is borderline useless, he eats pallets like a champ, gets bodied by windows, and has extremely linear gameplay revolving around Slice n Dice.
He may as well be 115.
-
Weird that you only got silver after all that.
Very weird.

Had a survivor DC after hearing my first blink Wednesday. One of the survivors brought a cake so I two hook the remaining three and killed the bot. Turns out the survivor that DC was the one that brought the cake.
At least they left a tasty treat :D

I don't use DS...but I do run Self-Care :D

He's fun.
Not oppressively strong….meh perks.

In that it won't trigger if you're being carried or hooked and no longer wakes you up when it triggers.
As for Exhaustion perks, Killers just got a good counter to most of them save for Sprint Burst and Adrenaline in the form of Languid Touch.
I haven't tried it.
Is it effective?

Their reasoning boiled down to 'They were used too much' or 'They were too easy to activate'.
Meanwhile, BHVR ignored all the survivor perks that are also "used too much" or are "too easy to activate" that you see a lot like Sprint Burst, Lithe, Adrenaline, etc.
All of the Exhaustion perks are currently in a good place.
Adrenaline was recently nerfed.

Idk I was already going against sabo squads with alex's and breakout a couple times a night anyway and never had any problems, the only difference now is hitting them isn't worth it anymore and you go straight for the next hook. I was already pairing agitation with pain res anyway (and even without pain res I felt like agitation was a bit slept on) so I don't see this change effecting me at all.
Agitation is definitely good in a lot of scenarios!
-
Certainly a lot of mental gymnastics and goal post moving in this topic.
Can't say I'm surprised given the topic, I suppose.

I'm disappointed they got rid of it. It helped him a little bit in chase especially in shack. But now all the pressure is on slice and dice. I suppose this is what they wanted.
I found Superior Anatomy to be a pretty good replacement though. His gameplay now is also pretty boring with Slice and Dice being the focus.
Being 110 makes a lot of tiles painful, imo - it's easy to force a pallet break in a lot of situations.
