Console, but I have a lot of knowledge about the Deathslinger already and I can think about how he would play out; aiming isn't so incredibly terrible as most people think
Alright.
I'd put Doc at the bottom of A, he isn't actually super good, he's just new and nobody ever played Doc before.
Oni, Demo and Slinger should go near the bottom of C. They take a lot of precision and sensitivity issues prevent us from doing a lot, plus low FPS.
Oni just takes precision and he is basically Billy with a cooldown.
Demo is meh at everything and doesn't excel at anything. His Shred also destroys my FPS.
DeathSlinger is just bad. 110% in a post Ruin game without any map pressure or a good ability.
I'd put GF to A, he is super good with recovery add-ons.
Might bump Plague up to B

How could I change this maybe? This is my personal opinion on the killers rn; couldn't get an F Tier so it looks kinda cluttered
Is this console or PC?
-
Spirit if you want a high-tier Killer, but pick who you want :D

I'm pretty much right on top of the Ohio server, getting 50-70 ping.
Still getting some....questionable things happening.

I mean, Huntress is high tier, so I agree
Eh, she is low B, top of C.
She relies on maps, on a good map, she is A-tier. On a bad map? She is D-tier.
-
He will always be lower than Huntress unless he gets a significant buff.

@Iudex_Nemesis said:
If he was another licensed killer I might have skipped him but I'm going to wait a few weeks to think about it.
I'm on PS4 and I don't have the best aim. Now I do play as Plague and Demo but Huntress can be really difficult and is just not for me. I only play her for dailies.
I don't want to do the same with this guy.
Yeah, he seems like Huntress with less reward.
-
No, I will not.
I think he looks like an overall worse Huntress on the PTB. His reload is punishing, anything with Deep Wounds is lackluster, but most importantly; as a console player, I just don't think another precision Killer is something I am interested in.
-
I think Thrilling Tremors takes priority over DMS

I guess you never played a survivor buddy, you can never guess where a killer is gonna go, sometime they are right on top of a hook and they couldnt see it cause of the aura, and like I said what is the counter? hit the survivor to reset his sabo progress or go to another hook
so can you just stop saying its a buff,
How can be 2.5 Second Sabo a buff from 99% hook?
ill take my 30 second sabo to 99 than my 2.5 second any day of the week
To guess where is the killer gonna go, and to have another team mate take a hit, while I work on my hook, and how can counter me? Hit me once or move to another hook
I actually do play Survivor.
I have no idea how this is a nerf, you will see in time.

LOL so you need a 3 man team just to sabo 1 hook, and whats the counter to this? I just go to another hook or I hit the survivor once LOL how hard that is? its a nerf buddy no buff for sure :)
Buff.
It takes 2.5 seconds, how is that not a buff?
If you can guess where the Killer is going, not hard, then you win.

- I guess Corrupt doesn’t exist, huh?
- Not like slowdown does anything, anyway. If it did, gens wouldn’t be an issue because you could just run Perks to shut that down. But guess what counters gen slowdown Perks? You guessed it: Doing gens!
- If you use your Corrupt well, you can get two or three downs before the Survivors get significant gen pressure.
Corrupt does exist, but you can only chase one Survivor.
I've had excellent success with that build.
Unless they become immersed, which they usually do. I suppose that's where the tracking comes in, right?

Infectious, Thrilling, Monitor, Corrupt.
The Perks do all the tracking for you and effectively remove the need for Black Incense if you have a brain. Then you can throw on Apples to become a discount Huntress that has more anti-loop than Huntress does.
Meh, you have almost zero slowdown. Gens will fly.
Not sure why you are so aggressive tho

you are joking right? so am suppose to wait until killer down someone, out run the killer by 2.5 seconds guessing which Hook he is going to use so I can sabo it before he gets here? and if he hits me while am working on it my entire progress will reset! lol
who said thats a buff buddy? you are completely wrong
While we 99% hooks we still take hits trying to take the hook down the 99 hooked, imagine 2.5 second
its deffo a nerf buddy :)
If you get a single bodyblock, you can destroy the hook. Even if YOU get hit, you can sabo the hook.
If you have a SWF, you can sabo the three nearest hooks.
It is a buff, and it will not be healthy, in my opinion.

Games are always balanced around people who know what they are doing, rather than new players.

I agree, Black Incense is her strongest addon... If you’re a bumbling moron who can’t track with what Plague has in her basekit.
How is constantly showing aura's a bad thing?
The apples are not THAT good.
Seriously, Infectivity + Black Incense with PGTW, Thana, Dying Light and Corrupt Intervention.

Easy for you to say I got the game a couple of days ago and I'm horrible
Well, then you may want to play some more.
I understand though, Doctor is usually very difficult for new players to play against.
Eventually, you'll figure it out.
-
@PXLECHOYT said:
I am quite new to dbd and it's fun apart from when your facing a doctor
1.he can find your location easily.
2.you can't drop a pallet or vault a window when being shocked
No matter how good you are he is still op. My first game was as a doctor and it was easy. It's too op
I disagree. I have zero trouble countering him.
Drop pallets early, fake out vaults.
Hop in a locker if he is charging his Static Blast.
-
Sabo got buffed.
It takes ~2.5 seconds to sabo a hook. Therefore, you can fully sabo a hook in the time it takes for a Killer to recover from an attack.
As for my personal opinion, I'm not sure if these changes are healthy.

Way to completely ignore anything I said. And yeah, the apples are her strongest addons for a reason. Making an addon basekit is not the solution to terrible game design.
Black Incense is definitely her strongest add-on

They've basically confirmed that new map is a test, so the others won't have breakable walls. But it honestly sounds like they want to nerf ALL loop walls, like T walls, 4 walls, ESPECIALLY jungle gyms, etc... all because killer don't know how to anti-loop/ mind game.
I'll take jungle gyms having a breakable wall. That'd be cool. Same with shack. I'd like it if the I-walls got safer tho

You got confused: "Steve" is the person with the perk.
So if you have babysitter, the person you unhook is fully healed, but the person who did the unhooking is exposed. It's very similar to the mechanics of the Pig's perk "make your choice"
Then my point is valid. It promotes unhooking in the Killer's face and DS farming.

Why would you use a med kit if you have self care on, and you definitely should not be using self care if you have spine chill on,, come to think of it this is the worst synergy i can think of, spinechill and resilience i get it thats perfect, while injured repair faster and wait for spine chill to pop off and run away, if you were joking when you wrote this then i apologize for sounding hostile cause it is funny
The healing speed is insane. It's a meme build, but I love it. Try it out, its fun being able to heal at a loop XD

Demo doesn't kill my FPS. But I also play on a Pro.
I've played on Xbox One X and the PS4 Pro, he always seems to kill my frames.
-
If he had one big portal that allowed him to always have the option to move across the map, I think he would be good.
As of now, Shred is only really useful for baiting stuff and on console he really sucks because Shred makes the FPS go to 5.

If survivors don't cleanse totems, regardless if I'm doing bad or not, NOED will activate. That's why NOED is perfect for players who want to camp, survivors cannot do generators and totems in a reasonable amount of time.
I feel like the perk should be buffed to give an additional 5% movement speed, but add an additional requirement for the killer to get at least 3/4/5 hooks before it can activate.
I'm gonna have to disagree with you there. While it does benefit people who camp, they will still de-pip. If Survivors do gens and get out, but say one of them gets caught by NOED, that Killer lost every gen and the Exit Gates, did not chase very much, got a camping penalty and fulfilled 2 out of 9 for Devout. He isn't gonna rank up.
I do think that is the healthiest change they could give it though.

Lately, I saw a lot of killers complaining about survivors being overpowered. This is not true! How about all killer crutches? Ebony moris, iridescent head, infinite tier 3, all a free win! How about all the weird hitboxes and dead hard that often bugs? How about the indoor maps? How about the stats that devs showed that told that killers had a 60%-75% kill rate depending on the killer? I meen, yes ruin nerfs maybe have dropped the numbers, but they are still perks like corrupt intervention that allow killers to stop generators early game. Killers have noed, to. So the kill rate must be around 50%. Killer mains, explain to me why survivors are overpowered.
On a side note, I am not doing this post to tell that killers are overpowered, I get it, they have a few issues like 4 man swf, all I am trying to do it to convince killers complaining that the game is balanced.
Ultimately, a perfect Survivor team will always beat a perfect Killer, unless it is Nurse or Spirit.
That is simply the reality.

Self-Care, Botany, Resilience, Spine Chill + Green Medkit with Surgical Suture and Abdominal Dressing.

They use it when you’re not in range. The only time you can bait it is if you are close.
If they use it when they are not in range of you, it would be unlikely you would hit them in the first place.

There’s no skill in using it to make up distance and reach a pallet. There’s literally nothing the killer can do.
Swing earlier, that's what I do.

@gatsby said:

Slug the person who unhooks because they're exposed.
Even if they had DS, they're on the ground and you can wait it out (especially since they'd probably only have less than 30 seconds left, if they still have DS at all)
That wasn't your suggestion. You said, " Instantly heals an unhooked Survivor but puts Steve in the exposed status for 20 seconds." I could hit Steve and hook him, but then the full health Survivor with DS comes back and unhooks him. If I chase Steve, I get DS'd. If I chase the unhooker, I get DS'd.
-
@Bard said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1098446#Comment_1098446
Thing is, they don't have to use it skillfully.
If they use it to get distance to a pallet when they should have gone down, that doesn't exactly take any skill, has nothing the killer can do to counter it, and can easily extend chases by at least 30-40 seconds.
When that ######### happens, you bet your ass I feel cheated. I got robbed of a hit, a down, because they pressed a button and went from being "unsafe" to being "completely safe". About the same feeling as when somebody Sprint Bursts away in an open field, or when a guy with DS jumps in az locker.
You know what else doesn't have to be used skillfully? PGTW, NOED, SF+Enduring.
DH is balanced. It can either save you or screw you over, depending on how good you are.

@PatchNoir said:

thats why i said that bad ptops need to have a reason, the killer could just slug the saved guy and not hook him in sequence, also we could do a timer to a tunnel and a not tunnel like 60 seconds (the DS time)
i dont think that solo qeue would unite to brad propping a killer, cause teammates can be plenty useless and survivors can recognize that and bad proping them instead
That isn't super likely. Even solo's abused the hook timer mechanic when it was in the PTB
-
@SupaSlay3r20 said:
If he smacks you with FF it should restart your game.

Survivors would always run BT, as it is basically a free safe unhook and they would attempt to force a tunnel.
Killers would camp and force the Survivors to either let the person struggle or sacrifice themselves.
Giving props or bad props needs to go. So many people would just down prop the Killer because he won. Likewise, the Killer would down prop a Survivor who could run him, but it isn't that bad because there is only one Killer.
