We both know the answer to the reporting question unfortunately
I have yet to run into a bot myself but I've only played two games today (and I'm about to hop onto killer now that it's later and I don't' believe they have bot survivors...yet). But yeah, this is going to be a huge mess so we'll see if BHVR thinks it might be worth putting some time and money into some kind of solution instead of just playing whack a mole with bots as they show up (and make their own player base police the game instead of having...anything useful)
Well, at least if you play against a bot it'll be over quick.
Unless the guy sitting at their keyboard decides to take control and keep everyone hostage.

@Yords said:
Imagine wasting your talent making bots with the sole purpose of ruining the game for other people.
Indeed.
The guy was also streaming, which makes it even better.

You kept trying to play after two? Ballsy.
At this point, it's something of a meme.
Let's see how many I can get in a day.

You know, if you don't think a killer is good you can choose not to main him. Honestly, I think some people want to be frustrated at the game so they purposely go out of there way to make weak killers (who have never been strong) their identity. I cannot imagine feeling "crazy/stressed" about a character and saying "Yup, this is who I want to devote all my time playing."
Because if you win, there's very little the other side can do to take that away from you.
It's why I mained Legion for a year or so. He was absolutely bottom of the barrel and if you somehow lost to me, there's not really a way you can spin it to make it look favorable for you. Likewise, it's easier to lose like that too. The mindset of, "Well, this Killer is weak anyway, so I was pretty much guaranteed to lose" is a lot easier to stomach than the alternative.
-
Pretty much none.
Last few experiences with a Nurse have either been total stomps because it's obviously a new Nurse player or total stomps because the Nurse is good.
Last game was a Midwich offering (before the bug) with Starstruck, Agi, Infectious and PR (I think, it's been a couple weeks). Slugged everyone until bleed-out.
Very unfun.
-
I don't know if like is the right term.
Grateful that old Haddonfield is gone for good? Absolutely.
Enjoying new Haddonfield? Wouldn't say that.
-
Why even look on Twitter
-
No, everyone complains about those Killers too.
Its just mending is even more unfun.
-
The answer is never.
-
It should be fixed.
Preferably when loops, maps and gens are fixed.
-
I hope we don't get any killer kill stats. It's just not helpful.

How is it a bad idea. The Mori would only apply to the person who cleansed it if it was cleansed with all 5 tokens. If cleansed before then the person that cleansed will only be afflicted with Exposed for the remainder of the trial. In a way it makes you think of doing what is good for you be what is good for the team, an aspect that is surprisingly lacking in a death game.
If you can't understand how putting players into a lose-lose situation might be a poor idea, idk how to help you.

Only if it had 5 stacks when you cleansed it. A way for it to be fair and give Hexes a much needed power boost.
Yeah, that's a bad idea.
I don't know how to fix them, but I know you shouldn't PUNISH players for making the right play.

Me on my way to get instantly mori'd for cleansing Devour Hope.

You wouldn't be the first.

If killers didn't always play like their mother's gonna die if they don't get a 4K I wouldn't have anything to be angry with.
Idc about perks, killer or anything. It's just the players that make the game unenjoyable.
Survivors do the same thing.
-
Hmmm. Us vs them.
Classic.
-
I'd rather play OW comp.
-
@Tsukah said:
Sure! But Leader, Resilience and Spine Chill should increase the blessing speed for survivors as compensation.
Why?
-
Well, I kinda knew he was nerfed but that's a good way to visualize it.
-
Using a realism angle is not the smartest move.
-
do i need to break out the horrific messages i've gotten?
I don't villainize Survivors as a whole, but its hard not to sometimes.

Having addons to compete with Range or Recharge is a badthing?
Yes.
It's like giving Survivors a perk to compete with DH.
The issue is that DH is so busted that any perk that even comes close is going to be absolutely insane (launch CoH).
Same thing with Nurse add-ons.
-
Not every Killer needs to be competitively viable, no.
But every Killer should be casually viable.
If you want that on a tier list, every Killer should be around Demo levels of power, ideally. Some could be stronger, but Demo should be the baseline imo.

How so? Cause I seen it happen many times. And thats just today
It used to be that you literally could not unhook a Survivor if the Killer stood in a certain place. You wouldn't even get a prompt to unhook.

I find it hilarious how face camping was fixed years ago and then people just changed the definition of it.
The literal definiton has, the functional definiton has not.
You could not be reasonably expected to save someone in the olden days against a facecamper, that is still true today especially against certain Killers.
It would benefit us all if we could find a solution.

at this point I don't think anything going to be fixed about performance issues.
You have no idea how much it pains me that nothing has changed since I made this post.
"All of you, forgive me, for I have availed you nothing."

Facecamping should be removed.
Unfortunately, nobody has found a good way to do it in the last 6 years.

So I get from the other comments that this was mostly a lag issue, but I have actually had legit cheaters in my games before, only I've always seen that they were PC players... So my question is, is it actually possible to hack on console as well?
Because I assumed that was exclusive to PC, and if not, I've given far too much credit to some folks who I was suspicious of in the past...
It's TECHNICALLY possible, but you'd have to mess with the console itself which is a big no no for Microsoft and Sony. They take it very seriously on newer-gen hardware.
For the amount of time and effort you would need to put in, it's not close to worth it. You run the risk of being reported with evidence, detected by whatever anti-cheat BHVR has AND via Microsoft or Sony.
Theoretically possible, but completely impractical.
Lagswitching IS possible and far more practical on console than big time cheating. DDoS is also very common and pretty much foolproof.
-
I do not think we need to make Nurse stronger.
I hope this is not an unpopular opinion.

How do you even begin to think that this is toxic. That's like saying flashlight blinds are toxic. But yes making it so they can't macro it as fast (not the 0.5 to 1 sec you suggested) might make the game a little bit healthier.
So that I don't get a ######### headache because some dickwad thinks he's funny.
There is zero reason you need to be able to click a flashlight tens of times a second.
-
You have reminded me that Mr. David Bowie is dead.
Shame on you
-
You're allowed to be wrong, I suppose.
-
Idc about David being gay, I hope it helps others feel included and recognized.
I really dislike how BHVR basically advertised it.

That was his friend messaging me about tunneling. My PSN messages won't show during a stream. And I'd be more inclined to believe it was my Wifi if the dude didn't brag about doing it to Bubba's.
That red symbol means your ping is over 300 ms iirc. That's extremely high and it's a miracle you didn't get forcibly disconnected.
Considering that you basically just told someone else that you weren't gonna listen to them and that you were right full stop, I think I'm done here. They aren't cheating.

I tried my best to get it up here. The actual chase to watch is at the 30 second mark. Shortly after, you'll see he disappears.
That's your WI-FI, I think.
You can even see your Network Connection warning (iirc) go off in the top left.
She wasn't cheating.

Nancy's like 16 so it's not that unrealistic.
Also Laurie is 17 in the first Halloween movie.

Ohmigod, I can't even imagine. The big weapons feel way too slow to me, I've always preferred fast attacks in any game. Was that your first time fighting her? Was your strategy to try stunlocking her with jump attacks? Did you manage to beat her with it?
DbD is so frustrating, but I can hop in Elden Ring and practice parrying the same Crucible Knight for like an hour or more and have a lot of fun. I can see myself improve in ER, and that improvement makes a difference. In DbD, it always seems like you're going against an opponent who's either way too strong for you or way too weak. There's no nice challenging middle ground. You can't even learn to improve in those conditions, and there's nowhere outside of matches to learn.
Yeah that was my first run through.
No mimic and I used jumps and crouch pokes.
And it only took me a day (300 ish tries) and that was like, day 3 of Elden Ring being out.
-
I hope they succeed because BHVR might actually try to innovate if they feel threatened by anorher game.
i'd like dbd to be better

Ranks have nothing to do w/ mmr.
Check the date.
Someone did a big necro.

It was Midwich, wasn't it
-
Abeloth or Patrick Bateman
-
I wouldn't mind it.
It'd remove my ability to see when my fan club is in the game with me, so I couldn't dodge them but I guess that's a small thing.
A lot of the bad snipers use cheating software to snipe too, so that wouldn't really help at all in those cases.

I can't think of any way you can spin it to make Mending fun. It's just not enjoyable.

In the new Haddonfield, my PS4 Pro fan turns into a plane in certains parts of the map, specially in the center with the cars and the lights and, above all, repairing the generator of the house of pain. Am I the only one?
No.
Next-gen and PC's also suffer from FPS drops there as well.
