Well, yes this is a good timing. HOWEVER, he is using a purple flashlight and has great addons. How about a normal flash with a normal flashlight? I love the timer but again, results heavily vary on what you are using.
So take this "gif" with a grain of salt.
Normal flashlights take about 2 seconds to blind the killer. It's best to start blinding right as the survivor is being hoisted on their shoulder. The timing is tight and most killers will face a wall if they see flashlights in the lobby.

Agitation so you can guarantee you get the Blight hooks. As for gen speed, Ruin, pgtw and sloppy always help.
-
Yes, actually. I've gotten this several times in a row. Hopefully it's a temporary issue.
-
Yes let's punish the KILLers for trying to KILL people. Perhaps we should punish survivors for completing gens too quickly? After all gen rush isn't fun for anyone, surviving is so toxic, right?
-
Spirit is the gold standard for how a Killer should be balanced. If they nerf her into the ground i will be very disappointed.
-
I just search chests and do gens. If my team falls apart, I'll try to help but I like to keep my own bases covered.
-
I'm guessing your rank was teetering between 8 and 9, so the system went ahead and pushed you into that match up with people 6 ranks ahead of you. Working as intended.
-
I can agree. The Christmas/Holiday event at least has amazing music. The Archives are pretty cool, though. It's nice to get some more extra lore and bloodpoints.

dude, the game is maddeningly unbalanced for basically all survivors below rank 12
I whine about everything because all these things combined are total bs and i know most of them ( if not all of them) arent gonna be fixed
So i write about everything because im hoping theyll see one think i write and actually look into it. i dont expect (or honestly want) them to fix everything ive posted about because then the game would be unbalanced just in the other direction. but just one or two things i think would be nice
and thats because pallet stuns and window vaults are a small invonvinience that every killer can avoid and if they dont, then it slows their game by like what, 3 seconds? If youre trying to say that window vaults and pallet stuns, which can both be countered by a bunch of perks and sometimes actually turn them into traps for the survivor if youre using certain killers, are as strong as ruin and the doctor having like 8 skills in his basic kit, then you just dont want the game balanced; you just want it to stay tilted in your favor
Are you trolling? Your understanding of the game is poor at best. When you get better at the game you'll start to see how underpowered most killers are. Doctor especially has nothing going for him outside of a built in Whispers. There's a reason the devs are taking a look at making him better.
-
Totems are already ridiculously easy to get rid of. There is NO reason to make it even easier.
-
I think it's too early to be making assumptions. Spirit does need changes, but it would be easy to gut her power and make a legion 2.0. Hopefully they'll keep a level head and make the changes that are necessary, without going too far. I bet the doctor rework will be pretty cool, though.
-
I am inclined to disagree, but I still get chills when I think about those try hard swfs that crank out gens left and right. Makes you feel real helpless which as the killer is quite ridiculous. Slugging is the only way to wrestle with swfs but even then that's often not enough
-
I guess you would need to play cheap and run specific perks (ie noed, agitation, infectious fright, etc). It would be nice if we could reroll the challenges for something not necceasrily easier, but different. Like how we can swap out one daily challenge per day.
-
I'm not sure what you mean... my Xbox runs the game more smoothly than ever. The menu is a bit laggy but in game is perfect.

LOL you need a tuff of hair to make it useful along with that u need a lot of stalk which means survivors can finish 5 gens right when you unlock tier 3. The drawback with a movement speed reduction isn't needed as you need to fully stalk about 3 to 3.5 survivors to get tier 3 with both red addons
Play With Your Food essentially nullifies the movement speed debuff. J's Tombstone is fine where it is.
-
I agree but I believe they should raise the BP cap to a more satisfying 40 or 50k. The grind is already harsh enough. What's an extra 8-18k points?
-
I agree that the game is pay to win. Many of the greatest killer perks are gated by licenced dlc killers, but there are still many perks that are meta and essentially free once you grind for enough shards.
As for your movement speed complaint... giving killers and survivors a universal movment speed would throw a wrench into the "delicate" balance that is this game's chase mechanics. Loops like the Wretched Shop, the Cow Loop, and every jungle gym would become unwinnable. The survivor could hold W and essentially never be touched and often never have to use the pallet.
-
Tombstone is a niche add-on that only works with specific builds. It's not meant to make the game easier like tuft of hair, but change your entire approach. If you don't like Tombstone, Tombstone Piece has basically the same effect with little to no downside.
-
No real reason to change it. Agitation is better, though.
-
Pallets arent very good imo. Personally I love the pill bottle. Really disorients people. Paint Brush is amazing but it's obviously hard to come by.

Do you have any numbers or is this just grabbed from the air?
No numbers. It's based on my own experiences. Queue times went way down after Dbd was added to the game pass. I can find killer matches virtually instantly. Survivor takes maybe a minute at most. I see new people every game and I've been playing for nearly a year now.

can people stop saying the term do bones it's aggravating just say do totems
Do bones
-
Make your choice, bbq, pgtw, and nurse's.
Myc for free instant downs after tunneling back to hook, nurses to find exposed survivor and recently unhooked survivor, bbq to watch gens, pop to manage gens.
-
Slugging is very strong but tryhard swfs can counter it anyway. Luckily they aren't too common, especially at your rank.
-
I think that perks like distressing should give you a direct point bonus instead of just point gain. That way you would actually get some benefits from running them. Perks like No Mither should give extra points as well.
-
I'm glad they're going through with it. Hopefully they don't get discouraged with so many complaints. They work hard to improve the experience for everyone. Here's to a pretty good job so far!
-
The game is quite alive on console, especially on Xbox after it went on game pass. PC doesn't seem so lucky but I can't speak for people on there.
-
Furtive Chase should either reduce your terror radius when not in a chase, or make your terror radius grow and shrink while chasing, like an actual heartbeat.
-
I think it's pretty balanced. The survivor is risking an instantdown for a 3-4 second stun. From my experience, if you pretend to leave, only to circle back and mash the interact button, you'll catch them before they can do the rushed action.
-
Hatch keys are pretty busted but I can't deny that Moris can be just as bad. The fact that multiple survivors can escape for free and the killer can kill for free is not good game design.
-
Short answer is no. There have been rumors about a Nightmare edition which would include every dlc, but that's still not confirmed. Either way you'll be paying real money for them.
-
They should make it so he goes at 115% percent movement speed when decloaking, but without any speed boost when fully decloaked. This way he can close the distance and make his stealth more meaningful against good survivors. Right now he's forced to announce his presence, tip his fedora, and ask for permission to land a hit. He became the worst killer in the game after they reworked Freddy, at least imo.
-
Leatherface because he's just a worse hillbilly
-
I'd do one for Pig, but all her best addons are common and uncommon LOL
-

I like that wglf change. It's already hard enough trying to get 4 saves/tank 4 hits without throwing the game. Tying it to heals as well would promote cooperation and make it more on par with bbq.
Personally, I'd overhaul maps like Corn City and Haddonfield. Both of which are so survivor sided that the matches become downright boring. Corn should reworked into corn maze tiles, and Haddonfield needs shorter fences and no ridiculously safe balconies.

*gets hit through a window 1 time*
"Oh my God devs fix your game!! It is unplayable without dedicated servers!!"
Devs: okay, we hear you. We've been working on this for a while and want you to test it
"Oh my God dedicated servers suck!! Did you really think this was a good idea?! It's bad for the game!"
-
Revert movment speed to 110 percent, and TR to 24 meters. Remove deep wounds from the equation altogether. It was a poorly thought idea out and should be recognized as such. Feral Frenzy buffs speed to 115 (maybe 120, kinda pushing it) percent, and does 1 health state of damage; similar to Demo's Pounce/Pig's Dash. FF lasts for say 15 seconds max, and has a 30 second cooldown, reducable with addons. FF ends on first hit, and legion is fatigued for a duration comparable to a successful hit cooldown.
Just my idea. I'm not a game designer so take it with a grain of salt.
-
Thompson's house, Mother's Dwelling, Rotten Fields, Blood Lodge, etc. The only killer sides maps are Lery's, the Game, and Hawkin's, at least imo.
-
I pray this is sarcasm
-
Are there any plans to make tweaks for weak killers? Not including reworks, like the doctor. Trapper for example could do with one or two more traps carried at base.
-
It's best to level up to 50, then stop. Use up all the good addons and point offerings you got, then prestige.
-
Noed's power shouldn't be understated. It's a shame that noed can be accessed so easily. The perk allows new players to kill everyone without actually improving. Don't get me wrong, though; I use noed myself sometimes, especially on killers like clown. I love when survivors get cocky and rush the gens just to be blindsided.
-
If you're the trapper, you can put a trap in front of the locker. Assuming they're not on comms, they'll be forced to stay inside, or risk stepping on the trap.
-
Legion and doctor. Useless powers.
-
Taller killers are easier to spot and male survivors are easier to spot on maps like autohaven. Myers for example is stealthy as can be, but his freakish height makes it difficult to sneak up on observant survivors.
-
This is so sad can we nerf Fire Up?
-
Wake up should let you wake yourself up similar to snapping out of it.
-
Almost every map more than a year old has nonmindgameable pallets
