don't have to moonwalk when playing ghostface and it works just fine.
That’s fair.
Anyway the red stain is a game mechanic to make chases more fair for survivors and add a new layer of mindgames to make them more interactive
Bloodlust is a band aid fix for bad map design
-
If you know how to moonwalk effectively the red stain can be a huge help to you
Guess you don’t know how to then?
-
I would actually consider buying that even though I barely play Freddy

I agree with you 100%. For reference if your asking for counterplay against nurse and most of the response you get are "Hope that the nurse is bad", then there's a problem.
Yep or just “be unpredictable”
-
Run away would be kinda busted if it stacks with th on hit speed boost
-
Don’t see why not to have them as a base option. People who are proficient with these killers already don’t need them anyway

As I've said earlier, my main is the only killer in the game that doesn't have a single cosmetic, so I always use the Prestige one:

However, other killers have some interesting options:

And back to prestige we go:

For survivor, the answer is obvious...Prestige!

But my main is an exception. I love the TEAMSXY Gear and I use it all the time:

Spirit is not a snowball killer. Nurse, Myers, Oni, Twins, and Plague are arguably better at snowballing than Spirit is. Sure she can end chases easily but she still has a recharge on her power and is 110%. She’s not downing the entire team in 30 seconds like an Oni or Myers.
I was talking about nurse in that comment
-
Nurse is a relic of the past and was made back when BNP’s, Infinites and Instaheals were all very powerful. She’s the only killer who can consistently beat the best survivors and doesn’t really have any weaknesses
Yes I hate her how could you tell?

Nah. Nurse I agree is unbalanced but at least she requires a ton of skill.
She definitely requires skill (Though not as much as blight imo) but she literally breaks the game when learnt
Pallets? Nah
Windows? Nah
Walls? Nah

That wasn't the only nerf she ever had. Previously she had collision with survivors when phasewalking which was really OP and made gen grabs stupidly easy when paired with Spirit Beads
Additionally, she used to not have window vault animation either (this was actually by design) so she was able to try the "stand still" mind tricks in the same manner she does for pallets. That idea was scrapped and they gave her a normal window vault animation.
It used to be you could hear her phase walk when in chase with her, but they found that made mind gaming with her absolutely impossible, so they ended up removing it. So all suggestions to give her a tell while phase walking are likely going to be a hard sell given it was already tried.
I remember the nerf they gave her but even then those two changes were just making her less easy to play.
Collision pretty much made any mindgame useless and the window vault was just a dumb gimmick she didn’t need
She needs to have some sort of tell imo because that actually allows proper mindgames to happen
-
Good luck in your new way of playing!
(Kate is cool and all but Jane is still better:)

I disagree.
Their powers are somewhat similar in execution: The ability to quickly close in on survivors. They both come with a drawback. The nurse has to time her blinks to cover the right amount of distance, while the Spirit cannot see survivors while out of phase.
The -huge- difference, though, is that Nurse suffers really heavy repercussions for whiffing this very strong power. If you mistime or miss your blink, you are stunned for 3 seconds AND you can't see anything!
Whereas if Spirit gets thrown off during Phasewalk, she just picks the chase back up -immediately-. This lack of a consequence to getting juked makes her so unfair. A perfect outplay will barely net you any distance against Spirit. Against Nurse, it adds a ton of time to the chase.
Spirit would need something that would heavily punish her for misreading a situation or getting juked in order to bring her in line. Perhaps something like "Once you let go of phasewalk, for the next five seconds, you can't see survivors or their scratch marks. You can still attack during this time".
Just make her pay for getting thrown off, like the nurse does.
That’s true and one of my major issues with spirit

They are bringing back the god windows and infintes but having breakable walls there so the killer waste their little time they have, to break them to make those windows and infinties fairer again instead of leaving them as is when they did the patch to remove them in the 1st place. Also waiting on the size reduction on a particualr red forest map....
In terms of actual infinites though they’re aren’t any except for haddonfield against 2 of the 22 killers.
Breakable walls are annoying but it’s pretty much just a pre dropped pallet the survivors can’t vault
Mother’s dwelling is bullshit agreed but it’s probably next in line for the realm beyond anyway
-
It’s outdated and needs to be changed to either skill check or just being automatic with a button to let go
-

In that case people will switch to her "uncounterable" mindgames. After they are gutted they'll find another thing that is DEFINITELY WRONG WITH SPIRIT AND MUST BE ADDRESSEED BECAUSE ITS UNHEALTHY
Then why has she only got one nerf that was mainly to her add ons?

Nah nurse is as fair a killer actually gets, not taking solo queue into consideration.
How though? She really doesn’t have any weaknesses compared to the rest of the cast
She has insane mobilty and is great at pressuring gens that are higher up
she has exceptional chase potential and is by far the best killer at getting downs
She has the best snowball in the game besides maybe oni
i don’t see how this is balanced
-
I think I’ve made my opinion clear but this killer pretty much goes against everything that made playing against a killer fair
The only killer who is more unbalanced is nurse
-
It’s because twins visual design doesn’t appeal to many people and their power is boring to play against

This video shows one. Its not the only one, groaning storehouse can be too.
The maps will never be balanced btw at no point in the past 4 years have the designers ever shown any hint that they want the maps to be balanced.
What about the patch where they removed a bunch of god windows and made a lot of maps smaller?

All I'm getting at red ranks in EU is spirits, deathslingers, huntresses and pyramid heads :/
Huntress and PH I can deal with but Spirit and nurse increase my blood pressure every match I have against them
-
@[Deleted User] said:
Remember infinites don't exist and survivors and the devs want bloodlust removed.
Bamboozle is a mandatory perk on this killer. It took me about 3 million BAD WORD bloodpoints to get it too.
Well there are no infinites in the game anymore besides house of pain against huntress and now probably tricksters.
Bloodlust needs to be removed once the maps are more balanced, it rewards bad killers with down they don’t deserve and is kinda useless to good players

So do not say that murderers have advantages because it is not true. The premades are in control of the game at all times. From the memento mori to Hexes. Totms is like playing with one less perk.
When did I say killers have an advantage?
-
Good luck with whatever you play next!
-
Yep I’m very worried about this. Killer variety is what makes playing survivor fun a lot of the time
-
That’s what regression perks are for. Dragons grip is actually an amazing counter to gen tapping

Moris needed a nerf. They were completely Stupid and completely changed the flow of the match

Unpopular opinion:
Players who say you lose as Killer when you do just a slight mistake are doing way more mistakes than they think they do.
I do mistakes all the time and still 4K most of my games. So either I am the exception or others are doing more than "one little mistake".
Totally agree. Sometimes it does feel that way but if you go back and watch the match if you can you’ll easily see what mistakes you made and when
-
I love that map as clown. Easy unsafe loops to stop and good Line of sight for long distance throws. Only issue is blendettes though
-

Not really. they either rush the gens in 4 minutes if you are good or toy with you for bp and plan everything.
Boring stale and predictable with an expected outcome.
I enjoy the fact that I can at least practise my anti looping skills since the are usually pretty good
I can’t practise anything against a camper besides spamming the A button
-
You know you don’t have to run meta right? You can still win without running it especially on higher tier killers like Freddy spirit and nurse

SWF matches are the most boing thing this game has to offer. Being camped on the hook is more entertaining.
At least an SWF match you can play the game. Being camped literally doesn’t allow you to play

If you load and they are already readied up that’s another tell tale sign of SWF
I’ve had many killers dodge my solo lobby with us all readied up. It means nothing really
Best thing to do is not worry who’s playing with who and just play the match out
-
@sad_killer_main said:

If they are on my same platform steam profiles say a lot, and multiple private profiles mean that usually, they have something to hide (yes, like being at a party).
With crossplay you can't really tell, but sometimes their names give away that they are SWF. Also if they spawn in your lobby at the same time etc, or just by the way they play during the game.
Spawning at the same time isn’t actually a tell anymore it used to be though. As for cross play there is no way to tell besides maybe the same outfit or names
-
@Dragonshensi said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2076922#Comment_2076922
Even with solo as long as two of the team are decent they can carry you really far.
Only so much though especially if the killer is forcing the worse survivors into bad situations through slugging.
One bad link is all a killer needs to get the ball rolling
-
@sad_killer_main said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2076922#Comment_2076922
I was talking about SWFs because I rarely see solos, minimum I see 2 man parties.
How do you know for sure? With cross play you can’t tell
-
@sad_killer_main said:
It’s hella easier
Playing survivor is playing DbD in easy mode as I like to say.
That's why I play killer first of all, but I completely understand you, I've taken a lot of +4 months breaks from this game because it's completely survivor-sided.
And it has been like that since I started playing back in 2018 more or less, or even before.
Depends on how you play survivor
Solo is a complete gamble with teammates and since you rely on them it can be quite unfun
SWF is fairly easy so long as you aren’t memeing

GF also doesn't have Anti-loop...
On small maps. he can easily just as snowball as ever,
You'd be surprised with all the deadzones
No addons? 60 seconds of exposed on everyone vs like 45 seconds of expose on one single person,
Which can also reset the meter if he also whacks that said survivor w/o exposing them Fully,
Mikey still wins in this situation,
Ghostface has stealth/undetectable on demand
He has similar amounts to Myers. Crouching at loops and red stain removal are both decent but neither can antiloop at all
Dead zones help Ghostface equally so long as you’re either exposing them or keeping them injured
Yes and Ghostface can 99 multiple people for later on and can’t actually run out of stalking power
But Myers activates once and is forced to use the whole thing while Ghostface can stalk 3 people to 99 and pick each of them off
If they are 99 don’t reset the meter
This Isn’t even going into Ghostface other form of snowballing that being the hit and run strategy which is something Myers can’t do due to his fairly lackluster stealth ability
Not to mention Myers has a hellish start with t1 which good survivors will abuse and have multiple gens done before you even get T2

“Its an exploit so is stretched. Itll be removed mclean confirmed it.”
Of course it’s getting removed, of course it is. Quickly discovered, quickly removed.
Notice how in the same sentence we have another exploit that has been around a lot longer yet is given the green light by McLean and the rest of the developers?
Once again an exploit is perfectly fine as long as it’s on the survivor side. These people intentionally keep the killer experience ######### so that survivors have more fun dunking on them and buying cosmetics
Stretched res would be way harder to fix I’d imagine
-
If that was the case it wasn’t intentional

Michael has the lowest terror radius compared to GF with none,
Michael has a Huge snowball every Tier 3
Michael Has a vault / lunge increase in Tier 3
Michael can hugely benefit from slug builds
Michael can instantly take a person out a match
Michael can stalk through survivors to stop bodyblocking (GF can do this too. but mikey was first)
Michael is the fastest vaulter compared to GF (Wraith is faster)
and still plenty more..
He has a smaller terror radius but only has complete stealth when he is handicapped in t1
He can’t snowball when he has little in the form of anti loop and can barely catch up to survivors holding W
Vaulting speed is nice but underwhelming and lunge is okay but it isn’t enough against decent survivors especially since his TR is normal now
Really? Infectious is okay but survivors will just B line holding W and it isn’t worth chasing them at that point
Tombstone piece is arguably OP I’ll agree but tbf I’m talking about no addons since they change his playstyle a lot
GF can do that too
Again fast vault is nice but not very useful in most cases
-
A nerf but a needed one since it’s unintended.
Remeber when trapper could hide traps on stairs and such? That added new skill to him no? Was that okay?
-
@Verconissp said:

I dunno bout that houstan...
People severely doubt michael,
He can expose everyone at once.
GF can only expose one at a time,
Michael already has a low terror radius.
GF can get his power broken out of very easily..
Ghostface has no range falloff on stalk
GF doesn’t have a slow start
GF can crouch at loops for mindgames
GF can stop BT with his stealth
Ghostface can 99 multiple people at once
Ghostface can abuse his reveal mechanic to get easy exposes mid chase
