Yes, I love DBD! It keeps me interested, there is always something new to try out or to try and improve and get better at. Due to the many different perk combination and killer powers there is so much content! And on top of that each trial is unique and different. The skill ceiling in this game is also high and I feel like it would be a long time before I get bored or feel like I've "mastered" it.
However, because I do love and know the game well, I also feel somewhat "entitled" to offer constructive criticism. For me the biggest issues are the lack of accessibility and the solo queue experience. I know that this wasnt about complaints but I think this is what happens on this forum and Reddit... People who love the game also feel entitled to strong opinions. And that's also good, love shouldn't necessarily be unconditional and uncritical. π
-
Maybe the gates should just open automatically and all survivors become invulnerable during endgame. π
/sarcasm
Opening the gates is also an objective of the survivor (you even get bloodpoints for it). There is also strategy around it - survivors can 99 gates, they can all pool around one gate and take hits for each other or they can open both gates so that the killer has to make a choice which one they commit to. This gives them a certain level of control.
That aside I honestly find endgame fun on both sides. As survivor I've lived all game, probably got some chases and ideally also progress towards a time challenge. As killer I can try to force a final slip up, really test their coordination. To try and control the endgame, the killer has to being certain perks though so that is a commitment that they already need to make before the match. Let's not forget that these perks promote a healthier game (No Way Out) or are counterable (NOED and Blood Warden).

I literally had gens at 0 progress popping in the time it took me to walk through main building I had only the opportunity to kick 2 gens in the whole match which had next to no progress on them and regressed to 0. Pop would have done nothing this match. I appreciate the read though as I know wall of text can intimidate. I put as much detail as I could in there. Honestly if 1 person can do a gen in the time it takes to walk from 4 to the west side of main then there would be no way to win as killer at all. it wasn't slow methodical moving either I moved straight there to try to catch them coming out of basement but they were healing just the other side of the wall.
No Pop + Eruption alone won't do much, you will still need the downs and hooks. Through those you create pressure and force people off of gens. This is why I suggested adding some perks that help you in chase and pair well with Freddy's chase kit (both version of which are not amazing but can do the job).
As I said if your account and timings are as it happened there is also still the chance you versed subtle cheaters. It feels like that is what you want us to say but it's difficult to do so without a video. If you feel like this happens to you a lot, then it might be worth recording tour matches and watching the back as it usually allows for some better insight into how long things really took - plus they can be used for evidence to submit to Behaviour as well.
The issue with your text wasn't exactly the length but rather the lack of structure. Try to include some paragraphs and put the relevant information at the top of the text. That also allows you to keep your descriptions a bit shorter and more on point.
-
I think that description would be a lot easier to read if you stated your killer at the beginning (we have several that can teleport) and had used the survivor character names rather than describing them. Just for.your information, the post was honestly a little difficult to read although I appreciate your map artwork. :)
If your sense of time is absolutely correct then its possible you faced subtle cheaters that sped up gen times for them (and activated Mettle prematurely). However, it is well possible to hit frame perfect dead hard (no animation) against killers that don't wait it out. I'm not the best survivor and against some killers I managed to do so several times in a match.
Other than not being able to rule out cheaters in this case, it sounds like you are relying a lot on a hit-and-run playstyle which can be quite difficult to pull of in the current meta. Some killers have suffered from this massively and Freddy is one of them as his basekit does a lot of stuff but none of it extremely well. Try to end chases more as you are also being perks like Eruption that will only help you when you end a chase. If you need, use some perks that help you with this, like Enduring + Spirit Fury (combined with the pools as slowdown this can be scary) or Save The Best for Last.
Freddy is also still a good user of Pop, pair this with Eruption for more reliable slowdown. Again both perks rely on you getting downs and hooks though so you need to commit to chases..
-
No, never. Cleanse every dull you see!
Sincerely,
Your average Pentimento Enjoyer
But in all seriousness... I'm currently during the cleanse 12 totems tome challenge and I'm fully expecting it to take at least 10 games or so even if I dedicate a build to it (e.g., Clairvoyance, Overzealous, Inner Strength). Realistically even with this build you won't do one totem after another as you only need to do one after you were injured and in solo queue hooks usually come so fast that I need to be either doing a gen, helping a teammate or taking a chase.
So doing one or two totems to trigger your perks is absolutely fine. Doing all totems while your team is in trouble is throwing.
-
I have crossplay on but this still happened to me on a few occasions on both sides with different combinations (getting the same duo swf when I was killer, matching with the same teammate or killer when solo). I switch killers and builds though so the survivors would not have noticed.
-
I have been playing Sadako quite a bit as well and I really want to like her buy it can be a very miserable experience.
I fully agree with you.
1. The TVs switching off forever and a day is this biggest QoL issue, especially so when you compare it to the cooldown of other teleport killers! I would like to see a reduction of TV cooldown but the numbers might have to be tested and tweaked because map RNG also factors into this.
2. The condemnation is the second issue, the fact you have to run Ring Drawing makes that clear. No killers should absolutely rely on an add on for their secondary power.
Exposed or another status effect (hindered, for example) could perhaps be add ons.
-
I never really liked Lethal because it was a dead perk after a few seconds and took a whole slot and generally speaking I'm pretty good with guessing spawn points. However, I started using it on my Oni for a lack of better perks being unlocked on him after prestige (old system). Oni is, of course, one of the best users of Lethal but it's also just a bit of an addictive perk du to the QoL it offers. Even if you can guess spawn points you don't always know and survivors can often pick from two generators. The "addictiveness" here is kind of like Shadowborn though.
Now that it has a secondary effect, it takes up two perk slots though. If you still want Shadowborn then that's three perk slots, so that leaves only one slowdown perk or a hex without Undying, which generally seems a lot less sweaty and can backfire if a team just sits on gens!

Goal is to lure the killer to your blast-mined gen so they kick it :D.
I use Head On and Dance with Me with Blast Mine and Red Herring. That way I sometimes get an additional stun when the killer starts searching the area. I know it's evil. π But then again I usually die anyway.
I love Plunders Instinct, Appraisal and Ace In The Hole. I add Bond so I can bring my teammates gifts. π

I get +25% or +50% as killer in Europe in the evening. It's normal that the game will need more survivors.
What I have been wondering though: It says the bonus takes your MMR into account.
1) Weren't your individual killers supposed to at least slightly differ in MMR? How can the incentive be the same for all my killers then?
2) Does it calculate what is needed most in my very specific unique survivor and killer MMR? So that means if my survivor MMR is ver unusual (for example very high or very low - definitely the latter in my case π) but my killer MMR is in the midrange where most killer mains are based, am I always very likely to get the survivor bonus?
I don't know the answer to these questions but I assume it would also factor into the bonus you usually get shown...
-
I wonder if it's my crap tier MMR - I mostly play solo - but I launched yesterday desperate to play against him and I kept getting Spirit, Huntress etc. Until I caved and bought the DLC so I could play him myself. π He is actually super fun so I don't understand why he isn't more popular. When Sadako released she was all I played against for a day!
-
I read the update and came here as In couldn't figure out what it means for Mettle of Man. As you said it doesn't trigger Deep Wound. I think Mettle of Man should give a free health stage (invulnerability) regardless of the other conditions. I say this as a killer main that sometimes likes to run weird builds when playing survivor. On the killer side, I have seen someone successfully once. It's that niche! We all know Mettle of Man is not OP is as it is as it has so many conditions to its activation, it really doesn't deserve a shadow nerf.

Doubt it. The conspiracy theorist in me thinks that they knew that it wouldn't be well received but they wanted to encourage everyone to prestige so they dangled a promise of a reward in front of us waiting until the last possible hour to reveal said reward. If that is a totally wacko theory then why not show us what it was from the start? Only other theory is they had no idea what to do and they came up with this idea just before PTB launch. Considering how it looks, that wouldn't surprise me either.
Anyway, I;ll get back in my box.
But what do they get out if it other than backlash? They're not earning from you prestiging.
I agree though, the reward is terrible. And that is although my expectations where low, I expected it to be something not worth the grind but pretty (because usually the art department actually do good work!) I just don't see what positive they would get out of trying to push people to PIII.
-
Glad you asked. π
Well, we already talked about The Mummy and Until Dawn - and I'm a huge Alien fan as well.
For a more... "out there" one, I'll say... Danganronpa!
Monokuma would have to be changed to look more realistic and not 2D to suit the style of course.
-
I'm not an OG player so I actually started when they were announcing the reworks and didn't get as much playtime on the old maps as others. I did like the look of the old maps better - the darkness and the creepiness. The only atmospheric change that was good is Haddonfield. The old one unfortunately looked a bit like it was out of a cartoon.
I do prefer the new survivor animations though but I will admit it took me a long time to get used to them and I hated them at first. π

I am actually in the process of setting up a template! I've had a couple of people ask about it, and once you have have the skeleton up its super easy to work through. I literally just used google sheets, with one tab for data and one tab with a bunch of formulas to compile everything. Since I already have it made out for me I should be able to copy and paste everything and get it set up.
That would be amazing! Thank you! I think I stopped doing it because i tracked the wrong data (was tracking all perks as well and that gets tedious) and because I ended up being very chaotic with how I set up stuff in Excel, so I started to hate my system...π

That solo number is the kill rate for all killers, my actual survival rate for solo is only 46.7% For solo escapes, I did include that hatch, so that probably jumps up my stats a little though. The only thing I really prioritize in game is getting challenges done. So if I have a challenge that requires escape, then I might skedaddle as soon as I can, but otherwise I am usually the idiot who tries to go back and make a save when it's pretty obvious that at best it will be a trade. It's more fun that way. I have my 'basic #########' solo queue build that works really well for me though, which is Sprint Burst, Kindred, BT, and Windows of Opportunity. BT helps the team and lets me get saves, I feel like I cant do solo without kindred, its too hard to coordinate some saves without it, Sprint burst helps with keeping be from getting caught out in dead zones, and windows is great for chase, especially knowing what pallets are still up from a distance.
Its funny you would mention challenges, I was wrapping up some today that required me to escape that I've been on since forever. So I forced myself to play more selfish. My escape rate got such a boost but I'm not sure if really felt good about it - even if I know that many scenarios would have had a trade as best case scenario, normally I would be going back in and I actually get so annoyed when others don't (and normally you can get everyone out if you help each other). But I'm not gonna lie, it was a good feeling, knowing I can get out if I really need to. π
That's a super good reliable build, I like it a lot! I struggle a bit with not having everything unlocked on everyone yet. For example I'm still missing Kindred on quite a few people but I agree, it's the ultimate solo perk.
-
I'm a sucker for stats, this is amazing! I tried to track some stats just during the event - much more basic than yours - and I have to admit I got tired of writing everything down after every match. π Kudos to you for keeping this going for 1000 games!
I'm amazed your solo escape rate is so high and you feel like you've settled at an MMR that works for me. Do you specifically prioritise escaping? I know I'm not the best survivor but I'm also not terrible and mine is definitely a lot lower than that, probably around 10-20% but only counting gates not the hatch. I'm often among the last two people alive but with gens left to do so at that point we've lost already - so I've never had that feeling I arrived at an MMR where I settled.
-
Yeah, for me huntress is one of those killers that feels strange as soon as Ive gone off to play other killers for a bit, so I think I know the feeling you mean. I'm by no means a great huntress anyway, just average, but it always takes me a few games to warm up with her.
The only thing that did happen is that some of the new/reworked maps have quite whacky hitboxes. I guess some older maps do too but we are used to it now but it's quite bad on some of the "decor" (like cars etc) on newer maps.
-
I think we actually get the most out of this event on both sides if we all play normally. I did let people go as killer over the first few days for people to get their masks but no one benefits from killers all tanking their MMR...
On the killer side I've been having the opposite issue - everybody brings flans + flashlights or Residual Manifest and often one person with a sabo toolbox - and I literally cannot pick anyone up and hook them all game. On a few occasions people have bled out, especially as people picking them up from the ground will always Dead Hard away so when swinging I would always hit the person that had already been down, not the rescuer. I don't have Franklin's/Lightborn/Mad Grit/Startstruck unlocked on most killers so I feel there is not much else I can do. But I'm also not going to give them the enjoyment of getting all those saves and then teabag me at the gate. π We would definitely benefit from playing more normally though as then they would be getting their altruism points.
-
I know, some of the meta is just needed when Solo. I usually take a healing perk or a Medkit. But I also use Dead Hard as a solo player because I know if take a hit and am injured in endgame - so clearly no NOED - and three people are healthy no one will take a protection hit let alone attempt to save so I need Dead Hard to get through the exit gate where the killer is standing. π I'd actually prefer other exhaustion perks if I could rely on others. (I realise Dead Hard will probably still help in this scenario so I'm glad about that but doesn't change that I would.prefer to take other perks).

I don't believe OTR will make it through the PTB as it is. The only meta perk I used consistently was Iron Will. I might just go to Bite the Bullet now, especially as i always bring a medkit, along with Lucky Break.
Idea: You can bring Bite the Bullet with the new Self-care. If you're lucky the killer also has Sloppy Butcher. Then you basically get Iron Will on demand. π
(This is obviously not entirely serious in case this isn't clear - but I do look forward to see what silly new combinations might be possible with these and future changes that we will still be getting as I'm sure this isn't the last time.they touch perks).
-
I actually started writing down stuff during the event too. One thing that stands out for me is that during the first week of the event I survived and escaped through an exit gate roughly 50% of my solo matches - and I didnt count farming matches or killers letting me go as the last survivor towards my statistic at all.
This number dropped significantly this week. I'm now lucky to escape in one of ten matches - which feels like my usual solo experience. A lot of the killers feel newer as well so I'd often be the last person alive.
The difference? To me it seems the quality of teammates significantly declined. For the first four days of the event I was actually paired with people that kind of knew what they were doing. The way a general shared game sense among survivors. I'm now back to being matched with survivors that don't last ten seconds in chase or try to heal my when I'm broken.
I do wonder if that has something to do with an overall higher number of players when the event started? I'm low MMR, I know that, but I have game experience. And it seemed I was matched with people like that.
A 50% escape rate felt great by the way! It didn't feel like it was to easy but it was nice to have the odd success. I do worry about solo queue as well as I know new players will still bring Self-care!

Why is it one of the most used perks at high MMR then?
I feel like it does shine in the hands of extremely good loopers who can use it heal while waiting on a corner in chase. Even if it takes 32 second + the chase time being another 30-60 seconds + being able to take another hit + having teammates that do gens, the killer has basically lost at this point. However, I would argue it's really only a very small percentage of survivor players that can successfully pull this off. In my killer games I often see people try but it ends up being the reason I catch them. It takes skill to use efficiently.
As survivor I play solo queue and inevitably in low MMR and the need worries me for those games as the new players will continue to use it. I sometimes run Empathy or Aftercare as it is so that I can spy the babies in the corner self caring and go to them to offer a heal if I'm nearby. Some of them will outright refuse though, it's actually comical sometimes.

Well now I feel personally attacked! My legal name is Ash Inthe Tallgrass. It's a family name, and I'm very proud of it! π
I do have PS4, so I'll check it out! You should make a whole post about that. Maybe a lot of other people agree with you. BHVR might take note then. (A girl can dream at least, right?) I've made so many comments on the forum about one of my dream chapters (The Mummy), but I'm still waiting on BHVR to do it . . . βΉοΈ
Gosh, I'm SO sorry, I didn't mean to offend you and your family, of course. So, is Inthe a middle name or a last name? And if the latter, then why are you not hyphenating it? π
Oh, yes! The other day I was actually talking to my partner - who does not play DBD by the way, but we always come up with ideas for new chapters together anyway. π And I said I would love an Egyptian mummy killer (maybe we'd finally get a desert map by night with a tomb main building?) And preferably I'd like it to be a license from The Mummy. I don't have a full on concept yet of how one could work in the scarab beetles and "spell books" etc yet but would love to see it!

Side note, I don't know if your name is your real name or just an homage to the Greek myth, but I wanted to give it a shout out. It's nice! :)
Yes, I enjoyed Until Dawn, I really like style game where it feels like the story can go any way based on your choices. If you don't have Play Station, Supermassive's other games are also on PC (The Dark Pictures Anthology). They're fun too. Until Dawn would make a fantastic licensed chapter with potential for the Wendigo killer and several survivors/legendaries though. The game actually has some quite famous actors (like Rami Malek and Hayden Panettiere), so I believe it could make for decent sales.
Thanks for reading to my pitch (hopefully Behaviour read in here π).
And thanks but no not my real name, that one's lot more boring. And who uses their real name online? Or are you actually called Ash? π But I'm indeed a Greek Mythology enjoyer. π

I'm going to be honest, I didn't even always run BBQ on slow killers that need chase and slowdown perks.bur when I did it was for the BP. The aura read is a nice to have on mobility killers and huntress but not even necessary. SH: Floods of Rage, Discordance and I'm all Ears are all better aura reading perks than BBQ that are useful on almost all killers and not just some.
It's sad because BBQ did promote healthier playstyles the changes are not really doing anything against camping at is.

This was the first thing I noticed about this update..π Babysitter (not Guardian) has the BEST perk icon in game (cause: Steve! π) and I even sometimes ran it but it's honestly not useful... And now even less so. I hope it gets reworked in the future.

All good you dont have to agree.
I think you need to understand the endurance isn't me saying that the perk still has the dash and infinite frames it's more that it may be reworked to involve an endurance effect. But yeah you are more than welcome to disagree.
Edit. Also actually my first thought for Dead Hard weeks ago was that it had a 20 - 30 second timer once you became injured.
Yeah, the way I understand this is that Dead Hard becomes a Medkit with Stypic Agent but as an exhaustion perk. I don't think this is so unlikely if they identify Dead Hard for distance as the main problem.
It'll also a bit harder to use as the killers swing has to be predicted quite precisely and they might also add another condition to it or a shorter timeframe as I feel it will be weaker as a perk than it is as a Medkit add-on.
-
I wonder if the iridescent (red) Prestige Icon is then the reward for having P-III before the rework. Would be a bit lame if I'm honest. Sorry! π I'm still on the fence whether I should put the grind in or not, especially on characters that still have stuff from previous events. I don't care so much about those that don't, I might as well prestige those to insta-unlock their perks after the rework, especially with characters like Bubba. You don't want to know how many killers still don't have BBQ although it bought it from the Shrine late summer/autumn 2020!
I really hope they reveal the unique reward soon so we can make an informed decision!
-
I find them super interesting to play because survivors can't just mindlessly walk over to the next gen they find, something they can do in Red Forest, the Police Department or sometimes even Lerys without any repercussions. They actually need to strategise.
Suffocation Pit can still be a terrible experience though because they way it often spawns in the middle. A good survivor will be able to run an M1 Killer for minutes with most tile spawns, so you just have to drop most chases. The middle tiles on Sanctum and Azarovs are also strong but not unplayable.
-

For me, it has been either Azarov's Resting Place or Wretched Shop, arguably the better two variations
I mean, Wreckers Yard is the best one but I would take either of those in a heartbeat. I just can't stand Gas Heaven anymore with its stupid main building and stupid pallets and stupid long walls of cars! π
Azarovs is actually so interesting on both sides, I find, because it plays so differently. You have to sweat a bit early on to keep a four gen on one side but after that it becomes a small map. Or prevent this from happening when you're a survivor. It makes for fun gameplay. Sanctum of Wrath is the only similar map.

Multiplicatively or additively?
Overzealous is an actual time sink unless you do like, 3+ gens. I can see Resilience, but at least it comes with some risk.
That's a good question, I don't actually know but I do know that if I run Tinkerer, the gen is usually done by the time I managed to walk myself over there. π
Overzealous is only an issue if you don't do totems. I still run Inner Strength sometimes... and gen speed + a 9 second heal is actually pretty good. I don't have Haddie yet though so I haven't actually tried the combination yet.

The problem is it's not just "Autohaven, any map". It's specifically Gas Heaven. It has been like this for about three weeks and have been wondering if it's bugged? I know people tend to exaggerate but I recently had four matches back to back on that map. I know every piece of junk on there now. Compared to the other Autohaven maps it's also a terrible map for most killers. π
-
If survivors just do gens, realistically most killers don't stand a chance. I had a match yesterday in which I died but it was all over in 5 minutes. Everyone was solo from what I can tell, the Killer was a Deathslinger. I spawned near the killer and had barely touched a gen when he found me. I then spent the rest of the game in chase/being tunnelled. The killer did OK in 1v1 - that's Slinger's strength after all - but I managed to dodge a few shots and at that point there was literally nothing else he could do. Three people out, killer had three hooks on one person. And no, it's not like I could be mad, three gens had popped when he had his first hook, he wanted to secure at least that one kill, I totally get it.
It's more OK for other killers but what is a Deathslinger supposed to do? And not everyone has DMS + Pain Resonance + Deadlock unlocked on every killer, you need to remember that as well. I have 1000 hours in this game and literally do not have that combo unlocked on anyone yet due to bloodweb RNG!
The only issue is that this is not the usual solo queue experience. When I play survivor, I'm mostly solo and I have to say many, many of my matches last 10-15 minutes and very often not all gens are done by the time everyone is dead. There is literally no explanation for that other than teammates just not doing them. I run Bond and Kindred a lot so unfortunately I can confirm that is the case. I can't rush through the gens myself either as I often take chase or unhook teammates as no one else does it. If they now nerf gen speeds, I might have to stop playing survivor. I don't see how this can be balanced efficiently as it's an issue with playstyles and skill-level. Unfortunately, it's rare to actually get matched with teammates of similar experience level.
-
Actually, for me those are so far and few that from hundreds of games Im much more likely to remember the good ones rather than all the bad ones. π But you do have a point, solo queue isn't so horrible when you play with people that know what they're doing, have some sort of game sense and at least try to get everyone our. Most people in low MMR don't and bringing Kindred doesn't change that. I'm not sure how solo queue can be buffed unless players change or there is a way in which you can do it all yourself.
As a killer main in higher (medium?) MMR I see how Dead Hard and gen speeds are broken. As a solo queue survivor in low MMR I worry about gen speeds being nerfed and having to run the killer even longer without Dead Hard because gens already take forever if I'm not doing them and my teammates go down in ten seconds...
-
Yeah I stopped using Ruin for the same reason but these three killers are actually good at defending totems. Especially the Dredge has brought back the fun in Hex builds for me.
A fun one is Ruin/Plaything/Pentimento and you'll even have a fourth slot for anything else that you just might find fun or that helps you in chase. Pentimento already ensures your gen slowdown even if Ruin goes early. To further protect your totems you could also run the Dredge add on that has you start out at Nightfall.
-
Resurgance was already not a good perk beforehand. In my opinion it should receive a rework in that it prevents the bleeding from Hemorrhage as well. And I say this as someone who plays a lot of killer and started using Sloppy Butcher again now. π

Just instantly apply the punishment they'd get for that behavior if reported + punished the old fashioned way.
For basically anything else it's not a good idea without some kinda wacky "cleverness" that I really don't want to leave in the hands of an automated system.

Im suddenly escaping a lot more as solo survivor which is weird but I'll take it. I don't think my skill level improved and to be honest. I worry that it's more like I've been getting a lot of baby killers and sometimes 1-2 experienced teammates, which is enough to carry the last person doing literally nothing. And I'm not overexaggerating when I said that about the last person - I've had some teammates with 3-4000 points in endgame before their escape so I'm not sure what they were doing all match. π
Killer matches are pretty normal for me. Sweaty but I feel like that's the place my matchmaking has been in for a while. I like the challenge especially now I've prestiged some killers and playing without slowdown meta can be a challenge!

As a Survivor I think Blood Pact is more of a personal favorite over Empathy just due to the fact that the other survivor injured can see you and you can see them where as Empathy you cannot and also with Empathy, they cannot be in direct contact of the killer. So in some cases you can avoid the killer if the survivor is slowly (unknowingly or accidentally) moving towards you, you can move away using Blood Pact, unlike Empathy.
Also you have to go to them with Empathy, as they can't see your aura which can be an annoyance.
Overall just think Blood Pact is Empathy but better.
Would sign off on this if this said Aftercare. π It's a really even better as the aura reading isn't tied to the injured state and unlike Bond ist also mutual. I got Jeff late and don't have Aftercare unlocked on everyone but when I do I usually use it at the info perk over Bond or Empathy.

They are actually pretty good nowadays! Just the first night of the event was a bit longer because everyone was checking out the event with a group (incl. me, I probably would have played killer otherwise).

Lithe: Yes I do see it occasionally, it's an exhaustion perk after all. It needs some management as you need to use it when you want to leave the loop so you have to save the vault for last and that's really the one major downside. However, it can be super valuable to not just extend chase but actually end. It has also helped me book it to the exit gate in end game although I will admit Dead Hard is the better exit gate perk as it can make the difference between living and dying when you're solo & teammates don't take a protection hit.
Detectives Hunch: I run it on every survivor that has it unlocked! Genuinely one of the best perks in the game, I wish more people ran it as I'm hoping their meta game would be a little less abysmal...
Hex: The Third Seal: I understand this is hard countered by SWF. But not every Lobby is a four-stacked team and it still denies all aura reading perks like Windows of Opportunity.
Blood Echo: It's not meta but can be fun, especially against Resilience-Dead Hard Gamers.

Beast of Prey, Territorial Imperative, Autodidact.

I did hook them before I went to Tier 3. I needed that slowdown too + Ruin & Surge because gens flew.
And based on that I'm not sure we would all have had that many points if I had been a Myers with other add ons. π Some of my games on large maps with Mikey just end up BP killers for everyone because I can't get the stalk fast enough if they spread & they're all out very quickly. Or games are on the other end of the spectrum, where Myers snowballs too quickly. If I need BPs I play a different killer.

My characters that have masks don't have flans so I gotta choose. π I like most of them but agree, some of the default heads are terribly suited - particularly Ace.

It is a very unfun playstyle although I believe there are also people who bring Tombstone just for the "fun" of it.
I'm very lucky that I got it on first try but I almost didn't because the I slugged the second to last person and she was about to bleed out. There are so many factors that play in and the map also matters. We were on Gas Heaven with plenty of pallets up and j had to eat through all of them to get the last kill. That took forever once you do there are deadzones without lockers which helped.
Afterwards the last two survivors were still in chat and I apologised to them. They don't play for achievements and weren't even aware that this was an achievement on some platforms!
