DH bugging has never gone away, it's just that the exhaustion on the ground is much more rare.
-
Day 1 was boring, baby survivor teammates and decent or baby killers. Boring and unfair either way.
I really enjoyed day 2 and 3 though. Yes the games were sweaty. But the queues times were somehow faster and playing solo queue was no hassle because I always had good teammates. Killers were a challenge most of the time too, the games weren't easy but they were challenging.
-
Hopefully it's good enough to still be used as my fourth perk otherwise it'll be back to Ironwill/Resilience/Unbreakable and just rushing gens injured.
-
So, so lame.

Ok you're the first person to respond who says it's not uncommon for you to see tombstone piece. But do they usually win when you do get them?
It's rare to face Myers in the first place so it's hard to remember and it all depends on whether I'm in a competent SWF or with... less experienced players who aren't aware of the addon.
If I'm in a SWF the game will be difficult because we'll be giving him almost free hooks by jumping in lockers. But we'll probably still win. But the truth is, it all depends.
-
I don't play against Myers often but when I do it's not uncommon for them to be using Tombstone piece with J. Myers Memorial addon (faster stalk). Permanent tier 3 and Judith's tombstone or both combined is rare though.
-
On the 29th and 30th I played against really good killers, but also had really good survivors (often thousands of hours on each survivor and killer). Not only that but the queue times also improved somehow... despite matchmaking seeming as fair as ever.
-
Yea I got mine on the 12th Nov 2021. I don't have any tips or anything though - I'm just an avid booner and have continued to be ever since Mikaela's release.
-
Not sure if I was quite as unfortunate as you, but I too had sweaty matches yesterday as survivor. But I had really good teammates (par one player) every game and that was fantastic. I found it to be a fun challenge considering that the survivors on my team were good (they are usually potatoes gone wrong).

Will do. Thanks for the help!
Also I suggest censoring their name (in chat and in score screen) because naming and shaming is not allowed here (even though their name is very generic).
To report cheating make sure you made an in-game report and go here: Submit a request – Dead by Daylight (if you want to send an additional report perhaps with e.g., video evidence of the cheat).
-
If I were you I would censor the (apparent) cheat link and remove it from your last paragraph, I doubt sharing a cheats website would go down well here.

I dislike so much this addon playstyle. It's just so boring.
1) You will get send to indoor map (Lerry's the most)
2) You will get find no metter what.
3) You get either hit or he will leave you because he can't chase you.
4) If he hits you, just run to a pallet and he will leave.
5) Repeat
Usualy it is super slow game as well since he just patrol gens and no real chases. It is not scary but boring. Glad I didn't saw him for ages by now.
Yeah, I'm glad this playstyle is less viable. Might've been fun the first few times I played against a spooky Myers on Lerys, but the gameplay gets tedious and drawn-out very quickly.
-
Bubba's can brute force through tons of pallets and use bamboozle to stop you looping at windows. If they want you, you will die no matter how poorly they play and no matter how well you play (generally). People don't like Bubba because nothing except possible hook trades at best can be done once you're hooked.
You can loop him for 5 gens and still be 1 hooked. You will always die (if the Bubba plays it right) because once the gens are done you'll just be zoned until you accept your fate. It's boring and frustrating to die in this way, knowing the Bubba didn't kill you because they outplayed you but literally because they're playing Bubba and there's nothing anyone can do to help you.

Wow, I'll be sad to see her go. It's so sad to especially see early members of the team leave. I still remember when she was first introduced on the developer streams as she became the first community manager. I know she streamed DBD before that so thought that was pretty cool. She helped organize the streams and pushed Mathieu to better answer questions!
(I was gonna show another screenshot of her in the Unicorn outfit... but wasn't sure if it was appropriate!). :)
Good luck not_queen!

Funny how when I used to play a lot of killer I got a ton of -rep comments. Now that I main survivor, it's much more common I get +rep comments.
Anyway, no comment has made me laugh more than this one:
-
They are annoying, especially the one when you get hooked. But I usually avoid hearing that one because I tab out as soon as I'm hooked to avoid the scream anyway.
Yes please.
-
I can't really say I really miss anything broken. Because I rarely used e.g., the broken insta heals, insta flash or insta gen addons.
But when those things were nerfed I did regret not using them at the time, just... to have used them whilst they were still a thing.
-
BT - If there's a camper you both actually have a chance to get away with this perk.
BBQAC - I get kinda lost without it and it's a really good snowball perk anyway. Plus, double BP.
-
I'm not directly called "Pepsi" after the drink Pepsi. My first dog's name was Pepsi (after the drink) and her pup was called "Dot" because she had one big black spot whilst the rest of her was white and a little brown.
So when I logged into Club Penguin in 2007 I named myself "Pepsidot". There was one other alias I kinda went with for a bit (which was similar to my brothers alias) but nowadays I just stick to Pepsidot when creating an account or needing a nickname.
So most people will of course think my name is just based off of a drink but it's really based off of my previous dog's names.

Here:

Flashlight saves from lockers just shouldn't be possible - that's the easiest fix too.
-
I played some Nurse yesterday and felt bad that the one person that played very well (rolled me) got caught at the end, whilst the 2 SWF left. So I carried them to the exit. But before they left they showed me where the hatch was so I could close it for points I guess. Thought that was a nice gesture. Also, they sent me a friend request after the game finished.
It's small positive interactions like that which are highlights for me.
-
Major solo queue buffs, like UI to know what each other are doing and being able to see each other's perks. Maybe even kindred as default (without the killers aura).
More maps! (preferably not in-door ones though).
-
I did suggest in a post to nerf her so she couldn't look down at the floor to readjust her blink. Essentially making it so she WILL go as far as she holds her first blink, no readjusting based on what the survivor is doing, she has to commit and try to make a right read. This would also apply to her second or third blink but she can always hold onto the blink for too long to force fatigue anyway at that point.Note: This wouldn't (or rather shouldn't) affect her blinking up or down floors. But no one liked this idea when I suggested it before so I doubt anyone will here either.EDIT: I actually don't like my nerf suggestion anymore.

Would be nice if they removed the chat feature completely.
Doesn't need to be in the game.
I don't understand this mentality. I respect that some people don't like the after game chat for various reasons but why take away a feature that others enjoy when you can just hide the chat if you don't like it yourself?
-
I bought a single cosmetic piece for David with auric cells about 2 years ago. Other than that I've bought nothing... except some legendary characters. I also plan to buy all survivor legendary characters eventually, when they're on sale. I'm not sure they apply as "cosmetics" but yeah.
-
Yesterday I booped a survivor still (kinda) loading into the match and they ran after me to boop me back and proceeded to "stand guard" whilst I booned a totem.
-
I can't comment on any recent history but when I used to play Nurse I also got 4k's every game (often at 5 gens). I must've found it quite boring so no longer played her. But keep in mind this is really, really far in the past - I played her when she had 3 blinks default (none of this micro managing 2 blinks that we have today).
-
But where are the tall and long fences everyone enjoyed running around? 😐️
-
Trapper. My brain will make me worry that there is a trap everywhere, so usually I'll end up taking a hit and will just hold W until I absolutely have to use a loop.
Also even when I use a loop I often won't be efficiently hugging the loop.
-
Played against Hag and Legion yesterday, probably been a few weeks since I've seen a Deathslinger.

It's a meme like I said, I don't think you actually read what I said.
-
Was the Mikaela pointing at you when you were cleansing? If I was you I would have stopped to see if she would Boon it (if so).
Also to answer your question: The "do bones" strategy to prevent NOED isn't usually viable and... the killer might not even have it. Furthermore, Pentimento now exists so the whole "do bones" strategy is even less appealing. You need to be on gens against killers that have good pressure, cleansing totems should be an afterthought. So I would never "do bones". You should take your opponents advice (killers) with a pinch of salt (also "do bones" is an actual meme).
The best thing to do is to take a mental note of where you've seen totems throughout the match and if there is NOED, hopefully you can therefore cleanse it quickly.

You're trying to turn it around and say that it is the survivors that are just bad sports if they don't enjoy going against an AFK killer and dying to RNG. Even if I don't die in this scenario, it's a boring game of repairing all gens with no chases.
-
Pallet saves have been fine for me lately. Also in my experience if anything, they've actually been buffed due to hit validation at pallet stuns.
For a while now I've also felt the timing has somehow been more forgiving than they used to be, but who knows.
-
Even though I'd recommend waiting the 4 mins out, I'd normally go and pick the survivor up. Not because I really want to but because I find it so boring when killers do this and would rather die quickly and move on.
I've had many experiences where after looking for me for 3mins and 40 seconds, the killer will then hook the survivor, further delaying the game (if they are not on death hook). Or they'll start looking for me whilst carrying the survivor. If they wiggle off they'll quicky be downed again, rinse and repeat. It's very, very tedious.
Either that or they just let the other survivor go and do whatever when they look for me. I've also had experiences where the survivor being slugged for some reason actually starts helping the killer find me if they do get up, as they think I'm being a bad teammate not helping them up. These situations are so infuriating, so I'd rather not experience them again.
-
I'm not really fond of the idea for a few reasons.
Firstly, I think gaining a total 20% movement speed buff just from using NOED (in the best case scenario) is much too fast. You can also imagine PWYF used along with this. And imagine bloodlust tier 3. Killers would be ZOOMING across the map by just tapping W.
Secondly, because the "duration stacks with every down", just imagine high mobility killers like Blight (especially with 2 speed addons or with an insta down addon) using Infectious Fright and No Way Out. Or Spirit with STBFL added to the build too. Nevertheless, even without those builds, it'd be silly.
I do like the principle that cleansing totems reduces the effect of NOED, compared to how black and white it is now. Because currently you can cleanse 4 totems and still be faced with the full force of NOED. But as I suggested, your values are much too overtuned.
-
There's only 2 perks in the game that gives you movement speed, NOED (4%) and Play with your food(5%-10%-15%).
*sad devour hope noises*
-
Bit off topic but when they reduce the grind I hope they make it so I can prestige without losing special addons and offerings (or... anything?). I sometimes regret not prestiging anyone but it's too late now for 90% of my characters.
-
I'm not sure whether or not to class it as an exploit, but I think it's a really cool trick. The counter is to simply run away from the loop when you see it coming or stay closer to one side of a loop if it's not hug teachable (whilst the other side is).
-
I'm all for just completely reworking the addon because I don't understand why it exists in the first place (except because of lore?). But what about this: If the Video Tape addon is used then survivors can escape via the gates.
This means if the Pig AFKs and survivors genrush/99 all gens, they can all escape. If the Pig plays normally and pressures survivors they can't genrush so hard or 99 gens without risks. The only problem with this suggestion is that new/unaware players won't know they can escape through the gates.
I'm still in favour for a rework though because my suggestion isn't friendly to inexperienced or solo queue survivors.
-
"I need to repair this gen, but I also know if I do I could be grabbed at any point".
Wasn't fun. A similar experience is still possible on a map like The Game if the Spirit uses Distressing with
Prayer BeadsFurin*. But it still doesn't compare. -
At the time I didn't notice much of a difference but in hindsight yes my experience was much, much better. Feels like I've played against more Nurses in the last 2 weeks than I did the entirety of last year. And when you face the same full slowdown builds with long range blink addons with an autohaven map to top it off it gets really boring fast.
I won't/shouldn't be playing that much DBD for the next 2 weeks though so hopefully the number of Nurse players dies down a bit.
-
I got 2 of each anniversary cake on Claudette :)
They will never be used.
-
Currently my least favourite to play against is Nurse by a long shot.
Also not sure if you meant your least favourite killer to play "as" or "against".
-
It both encourages and discourages tunneling. It discourages tunneling for obvious reasons but it also encourages it because as soon as you use it you leave yourself vulnerable if you are next unhooked.
It also does very very little against killers like Nurse. Yesterday I DS'd a Nurse and went down a mere 2 blinks later. I then was flash saved but still, went down 2 blinks later.
Nevertheless I think DS is fine where it is. The only change it should have is that you should be prompted to press E during the pickup to use it or not. The skillcheck is outdated IMO.

That's just wrong. The survivor being chased can attempt the lightburn on either blinks and, like you said, the nurse can choose to let go of her power and short blink - which effectively allows the survivor to gain some distance for the next set of blinks. Literally, that's the point of using lightburn against a nurse.
To burn a Nurse she has to be holding her blink and you have to be a short range away with a flashlight. When you are actively being chased by the Nurse there is no way you can pull off a burn (as you suggest) because you are WELL within a short-blink distance. You can't get the burn before she gets her blink off.
