Definitely consumed. I tested it on stream and it ate my bloody party streamer. It was rejected and consumed. It was missing from my inventory after game with zero benefits given. 😭

Main building is too strong for survivors. If they put in the offering to spawn the basement in the shack, they can abuse the basement of the main building and you can't get them to a hook when downed if they run boil over, flip flop, etc...

Yeah i'm aware and you're right, it's a really great franchise and i cannot recommend it enough for people to watch.
Frankly I'm super happy that more and more people are talking and learning about it and i really appreciate Paulie for spreading the word about the franchise and hopefully increasing it's chances of coming into the game.
As for Survivor, assuming it would be a full chapter and not a paragraph, it would have to be Mike and Reggie as the main Survivors with Jody as a Legendary skin for Mike and Reggie's ice cream vendor outfit for him.
In terms of map, for me it should either be the Morningside Mausoleum from the 1st movie or the Mausoleum from the 3rd movie.
Honestly I'm pleasantly surprised to see the amount of support n the comments of that video from the number of people who want Phantasm. It's up to us to spread the word that there are so many people who want this license in DBD because I think they may have underestimated the appeal to the DBD community. I think I did myself. The outpouring of "phans" has been great!

Yup I just played on both these maps back to back and couldn't place snares in so many places half the time in Gideon Building and the Haddonfield houses. Plus I got stuck between a clock and the balcony railing on top floor of one of the new Haddonfield houses. Really felt awful to play as Freddy, wasting time to try to find where I CAN put a dream snare...

Always remember they don't have to do any events or give us the opportunity to get skins for free but they are. We are not entitled to have anything so at least be grateful for the event happening at all.
It just seems the devs can't win. We have all at one point asked them to not release things if they aren't ready and when that happens people complain just as much.
I remember a streamer tweeting that "these devs are the only ones on the planet who could screw up an event like this" when there was a problem earlier this year with the Lunar New year event. Now they take some extra time for this one and everyone still loses their mind.
They can't win. :/

If you look at the item in the files it says that the Graduation Cap was created on September 18th, 2018. So that means the cap came in when the Spirit DLC went live.
The Ormond map damaged photo map offering on the other hand was created December 11th, 2018

Sorry if this was asked already. What's to prevent a killer from blocking the basement stairs and trapping survivors in the basement and waiting out the timer for kills?

To be clear, this video is from December 2017. It isn't new. It is done in Kill Your Friends mode where all the participants are my friends who have agreed to do this.
What's happening in public matches with this new exploit involves killers who didn't sign up to share the fog with another killer, at the very least, as well as possibly other survivors. Those are real public matches with points and ranks and emblems on the line.
What I demonstrated in the video shown was fun between friends who all agreed to do it, in non public matches, where no points can be earned, no ranks or emblems are on the line. No inventory items or offerings can be lost. It's basically practice mode. Which everyone agreed to.
What I did was do donuts in my car on private property. You're comparing me to someone who was speeding in their car on public streets running red lights and put the general public at risk multiple times. That's my analogy and I'm sticking to it.
I also have multiple times said that if any dev thought that my Kill Your Friends multi killer glitching was detrimental to the game, I would stop.
I have never entered a public match with multiple killers and never will. Period.
I will also say that the easiest way for anyone to protect themselves from having extra killer or killers crash your party in the fog is to make sure that you NEVER ready up until you see 4 survivors in your lobby. And if a fellow survivor in you lobby is telling you in game chat to ready up before the lobby is full, I would say that's a red flag that they are trying to sneak extra killers into your game and they're hiding in the bushes.

This is probably the closest thing if you're trying to make a movie match up. But Mountain Man was in a hotel, not a ski resort.
Plus a license has to actually add value for the game. A relatively unknown movie doesn't bring much to the table to make it worth getting the license if you ask me.
A licensed character has to be a widely known property to make it worthwhile to add, in my opinion.
I'm strongly feeling an original killer on this one.

yes, he is. look it up on youtube. as much as i love the game, i would never buy the character.The Creeper is owned by a production studio, more than likely. Victor Salva will probably receive no money from the license. I don't want the Creeper in the game simply because it would be just as easy to create a similar killer and keep all the licensing fees and creative ownership. They already tested a flying killer, but said it was OP. I'm sure they could tweak it to be a leaping killer like the Creeper.
Even if the Creeper is owned by a studio and not by Victor Salva himself, the first two Jeepers Creepers movies were made by Francis Ford Coppola's studio, so I would assume it would be FFC's studio? FFC was good buddies with Victor Salva before and after Victor's arrest. The "Clownhouse" film where Victor molested the kid was shot in part at Coppola's home. Coppola tried to sue the sexually abused kid's family for $5 million for going to the police and reporting that Victor had molested the kid, because he said it jeopardized the film? WHAT!? Victor molested this kid for 6 years and only served 15 months in jail. And by the way Victor filmed himself molesting the kid so there's solid evidence he is stone cold guilty.
Why Francis Ford Coppola would want to work with the man, giving him five grand when he got out of jail and making the Jeepers Creepers movies with him is startling. FFC is no better than Victor in my book. But hey, that's Hollywood for you. Disney of all people made "Powder" with Victor before Jeepers Creeper came out! And that's some creepy NAMBLA and predatory pedo grooming stuff right there with Jeff Goldblum rubbing the kids head and asking if he wants to be his friend and commenting how he had the best sex of his life after Powder touched him. You can't make this stuff up. Search "Victor Salva Vice" on google. An argument can be made that the Creeper himself is an allegory based on Victor as a monster who abducts young boys and does what he likes with their body parts. Victor even put molestation in Jeepers Creeper 3, justifying it with the line "the heart wants what it wants" when discussing the past of a teen girl who had been molested by her stepfather.
When I first heard about Victor's past I was of the mindset that he paid his debt to society, but the more I looked into it, the more repulsed I became about this scumbag and how unrepentant he seems to be. The Creeper used to be on my top five list of licensed killers I wanted to see come to the game, but no longer. EFF THAT GUY!
To those who can "separate the art from the artist" that's fine but at the same time you have to understand why others simply cannot.
Victor Salva and his stupid movie that ripped off an episode of Unsolved Mysteries can burn. Period.
Yep, Jeepers Creepers opening is almost shot for shot taken from an episode of the reality crime show Unsolved Mysteries, with a couple who plays a license plate game getting run off the road by a van and later seeing a man emerge from the van and dumping a body. Look it up. XDDead by Daylight doesn't need this monster in their game, and they don't need Jeepers Creepers either.
Here's the post where NotQueen said they aren't looking into the Creeper as a character.

Hmmn, this really makes me wonder if it's Benedict Baker the character who wrote most of the lore about the entity's realm and then he said that he hope. Of Vigo? Or both?
I've always wanted to see Benedict and Vigo incorporated into the game. I really thought we'd get a licensed killer for this next chapter because of Halloween, but now I'm not so sure.
